We support Open Access Overview – Focusing on open access to peer-reviewed research articles and their preprints.

The posting of stories, commentaries, reports, documents and links (embedded or otherwise) on this site does not in any way, shape or form, implied or otherwise, necessarily express or suggest endorsement or support of any of such posted material or parts therein.

TheGlobalElite.org is not to be confused, connected or is there any affiliation implied with any other corporation using the word(s) “The”, “Global” or “Elite”. We have no affiliation to any companies with similar names, therefore our reporting should not reflect on any similarly named companies or organizations.

The myriad of facts, conjecture, perspectives, viewpoints, opinions, analyses, and information in the articles, stories and commentaries posted on this site range from cutting edge hard news and comment to extreme and unusual perspectives. We choose not to sweep uncomfortable material under the rug – where it can grow and fester. We choose not to censor skewed logic and uncomfortable rhetoric. These things reflect the world as it now is – for better and worse. We present multiple facts, perspectives, viewpoints, opinions, analyses, and information. As with all controversies, we stand ready to post any and all rebuttals and responses from people mentioned in the material we post.

We are expressing our first amendment free speech rights as well as freedom of the press.

We are not going to censor the news and information here. That is for you to do.

The idea of a free press in America is one that we hold in the highest regard. We believe in bringing our site visitors the widest possible array of information that comes to our attention. We have great trust and respect for the American people, and our worldwide audience, and believe them to be fully-capable of making their own decisions and discerning their own realities.

We suggest you don’t make ‘assumptions’ about our official position on issues that are discussed here. That is not what this site is about. We believe it to be unwise to sweep controversy under the carpet. We also firmly believe people should not only read material which they agree with. The opinions expressed through the stories here do not necessarily represent TheGlobalElite.org.

We strongly recommend not ‘assuming’ anything. Read, consider, and make your own informed decisions. People ‘assumed’ the Warren Commission report was accurate. It was not. People ‘assumed’ the Federal Government would never conduct biochemical experiments on the general populace. But it did, by the score. People ‘assumed’ the world was once flat.

Fair Use Notice

This website may contain copyrighted material by some who may have not been authorized by the copyright owners. We believe that this not-for-profit, educational, and/or criticism or commentary use on the Web constitutes a fair use of the copyrighted material (as provided for in section 107 of the US Copyright Law). If you wish to use this copyrighted material for purposes that go beyond fair use, you must obtain permission from the copyright owner. Fair Use notwithstanding we will immediately comply with any copyright owner who wants their material removed, modified, or wants me to add their photo along with the post.

All images shown within this site are the copyright of their respective owners.

Two provisions of the copyright statute are of particular importance to teachers and researchers:

* a provision that codifies the doctrine of “fair use,” under which limited copying of copyrighted works without the permission of the owner is allowed for certain teaching and research purposes; and

* a provision that establishes special limitations and exemptions for the reproduction of copyrighted works by libraries and archives.

The concept of fair use is necessarily somewhat vague when discussed in the abstract. Its application depends critically on the particular facts of the individual situation. Neither the case law nor the statutory law provides bright lines concerning which uses are fair and which are not. However, you may find it helpful to refer to certain third party source materials. Guidelines for classroom copying by not-for-profit educational institutions have been prepared by a group consisting of the Authors League of America, the Association of American Publishers, and an ad hoc committee of educational institutions and organizations. In addition, fair use guidelines for educational multimedia have been prepared by a group coordinated by the consortium of College and University Multimedia Centers (CCUMC). These guidelines describe safe harbor conditions, but do not purport to define the full extent of “fair use.”

Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice

It is our policy to respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (found at the U.S. Copyright Office) and other applicable intellectual property laws. It is our policy to remove material from public view that we believe in good faith to be copyrighted material that has been illegally copied and distributed by any of our members or users. It is also our policy to terminate the accounts of repeat offenders. If we remove or disable access to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act we will make a good-faith attempt to contact the owner, author, or administrator of each affected site so that they may make a counter notification pursuant to sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of that Act.

DMCA/Contact

This is information for anyone that wishes to challenge our “fair use” of copyrighted material.

If you believe that content residing on or accessible through our website infringes a copyright for which you own or are a designated agent, please send a notice of infringement by contacting us at contact@theglobalelite.org with information that sets forth the items specified below.

To expedite our ability to process your request, please use the following format:

Title of the specific thread or article that contains the copyrighted work. Post number of the specific post that contains the copyrighted work. Link to the specific post (available via the “this post” link on each post) or article you believe contains the copyrighted material. Specific nature of the copyright infringement you believe is occurring. Details of your claim to the material, or your relationship to the material copyright holder. Provide your full name, address, and telephone number should we need to clarify your claim. Provide a working email address where we can contact you to confirm your claim. Include the following statement: “I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above on the allegedly infringing web pages is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.” Include the following statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner to make this complaint.”

We will review your claim and determine its merit. If, after our review, we believe your claim is sufficient to remove the information from public view, we will do so immediately and provide you with confirmation. If your claim is insufficient to act upon, or, in our consideration the material has been posted with a good faith effort and compliant with the DMCA, we will notify you and provide you opportunity to clarify or seek additional remedy.

If you are a legal copyright holder or a designated agent for such and you believe a post on this website falls outside the boundaries of “Fair Use” and legitimately infringes on yours or your clients copyright.

FAQs about Media Sources

1. Who hosts these files? (DISCLAIMER)

None of the audio/visual content is hosted on this site. All media is embedded from YouTubeDailyMotion and Vimeo.

This site does not host any of the streaming media and the owner has not uploaded any of the material to the video hosting servers. Anyone can find the same content on Google Video or YouTube by them selves.

TheGlobalElite.org is a pro-DMCA website and as such Content Owners can use the DMCA protocol to request removal of embedded videos that they believe infringe their copyright.

The owner of this site is willing to remove any violating material immediately upon request. The copyright owner must further contact the source if he wants his material off the Internet completely. Read the Terms of Use & Privacy Policy as use of this site constitutes acceptance of them.

2. What is public domain?

Many of the old movies are in public domain. Note that most of the newer videos are probably not in public domain.

“When a work’s copyright or patent restrictions expire, it enters the public domain and may be used by anyone for any purpose.” Read more on wikipedia.

From Archive.org: “If the work was made in 1923 or earlier, it is probably public domain and can be uploaded. NOTE! Restored versions of the film or new soundtracks for silent films can have more recent copyrights that are still valid – usually a copyright notice for a new soundtrack or restoration will appear in the film.

For works made from 1923 to 1949, post a question to the movie forum on this site [at Archive.org] before you upload. The copyright could have been renewed and there isn’t a way online to check a film’s copyright status.

For works made from 1950 to 1963, you can check the title at the Library of Congress Copyright Database for copyright renewals. This will list copyright renewals for most films.”

A video may fall under public domain if: (1) the term of copyright for the video has expired; (2) the author failed to satisfy statutory formalities to perfect the copyright or (3) the video is a work of the U.S. Government.

Publicdomaintorrents.com – “Public Domain Movie Torrents hosts a wide variety of movies now in the public domain that you can download for free using BitTorrent technology. Many for PDA iPod PSP and other mobile devices.”

The Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) is a non-profit professional association established to advance the field of moving image archiving by fostering cooperation among individuals and organizations concerned with the acquisition, preservation, exhibition and use of moving image materials.

6. I want to use material featured on this site. How?

You can only use material that is in public domain, open source or published under CCL (creative commons license). Use archive.org and openflix.com to verify which of the material is in public domain.

Use these sites:
Archive.org – Study the site and read their FAQ.
OpenFlix.com – “OpenFlix makes a good faith effort to determine the United States public domain status of movies listed in our directory.”
The Public-Domain Movie Database – “Created to assist people in their search for public domain movies and to develop a better understanding of the public domain laws, this database is intended to serve as a source for this need.”

Spinxpress.com – “The best way to search for Creative Commons licensed media.”

Public Domain (Wikipedia)
Fair Use (Wikipedia)

Again, do not ask me to send you material – I don’t have any. Do not ask me to provide you with information about movies in the public domain. Use the sites above.

7. I would like to have my film listed on this site. How?

If you are the copyright holder, just upload the film to any of the video sharing sites and send us your link.

8. I have problem viewing the streaming videos. Help!

(Note: If the screen is blank and nothing happens the video has probably been removed). If the video plays but suddenly stops, try moving the video timeline pointer past the point where it stops.

Go to Google Video Help Center
Get the latest Windows Media Player
Get the latest Flash Player
Get the DivX Codec
Get the DivX Player

Download Firefox.

9. I see Advertisements when I stream a video.

All ads have to do with the decision of the content creator that posted on YouTubeDailyMotion or Vimeo..

We recommend you install an Ad-blocker inside your browser if you don’t want to see any ads playing while streaming the videos. Get started with Adblock Plus.
