Several years ago researchers were observing ants in a grassy field. Amongst all the behaviors that were occurring in the midst of the colony, there was one particular ant that was displaying a very peculiar trait. This one ant for some reason kept attempting to scale a tall piece of grass in order to reach the very top. Once there, it would stop moving and just bask in the sun. Eventually the wind would blow and this ant would fall to the ground and immediately pick itself up and begin climbing another piece of grass. For hours and hours, over and over this ant continued repeating this behavior and pattern.
The scientists were perplexed as to what biological purpose this was serving. Why was this ant trying to climb this piece of grass and stay at the top? Was there some ultimate reason this ant needed to be at the top of this piece of grass? The scientist finally concluded, “No.” There was no biological reason in the life of an ant that would cause it to exhibit this behavior. So then why was this ant doing this? Was it just a fluke?
And the answer was yes. It was a Fluke. It was a Lancet Fluke. A Lancet Fluke is a parasite that lives in the stomach of cows and sheep. And when this parasite is evacuated from the animal’s intestines through its excrement, it waits for a passing by ant that it can attach itself to. Eventually this hitchhiking parasite burrows into the ants body and then up into the ant’s brain. Once there, it hijacks the ant’s brain and commandeers its body as an all-terrain vehicle so it can climb to the top of the grass in hopes of being eaten by a cow or sheep so that it can return to the environment where it thrives.
So this parasite, in its own need to survive, infiltrates the life form of the ant causing the ant to exhibit suicidal or life destructive behaviors.
We too, as humans, have such an entity that has infiltrated our minds and bodies. The infestation is so profound that it is estimated that as high as 90-95 percent of all Americans suffer from this epidemic condition. And like the Lancet Fluke our invader causes us to eat as we should not eat, think as we should not think and behave in ways that are not only detrimental to ourselves, but to our planet as a whole. And the infiltration of this invader is so thorough and complete that it is difficult to believe it was not engineered, or at the very least encouraged to thrive in our population through the distribution and over use of anti-biotic pharmaceuticals as well as our Standard American Diet of Coffee, Refined Sugars, Alcohol and Processed Foods otherwise known as the S.A.D. C.R.A.P. diet.
So, what are we talking about? What could possibly be hijacking our brains and commandeering our lives? What organism could be causing us as individuals, groups or nations to act illogically, apathetically or in ways that are detrimental to ourselves and/or others? What could possibly be causing our species to destroy its environment and/or even act in a suicidal self destructive way like the ant? I submit to you my friends that what we are talking about is an unchecked, unbalanced yeast overgrowth known as Candida Albicans, a.k.a. Candida. Candida Albicans is a diploid fungus or form of yeast.
One might ask, “A yeast infection? Is that all? Isn’t that what women get?” Well firstly it is not something that only women get. And secondly, it has been identified in women more than men, but rest assured it has infiltrated both genders. And please be advised that by the time it shows up symptomatically in discharges, rashes or coatings on the tongue, you can be sure that its growth has become systemic within your body.
As far as this author understands, every major disease that we know of can be linked or associated with the overgrowth of this yeast. Its unchecked presence in our digestive tract throws off every aspect of our body’s ability to function. This includes but is not limited to the digestion of our food, the function of our immune system, our neurology and the interaction and communication between all these systems.
The following is a brief list of some of the symptoms that vary from person to person and fluctuate in severity. One of the most well known forms of yeast is the vaginal yeast infection. However, it appears to play a role in just about any mental health condition or chronic illness you can think of. Yeast overgrowth is considered to be a leading contributor in anxiety disorders, food allergies, asthma, alcoholism, clinical depression, rheumatoid arthritis, attention deficit disorder, autism, chronic fatigue syndrome, Crohn’s, lupus, digestive disturbances, irritable bowel syndrome, repeated urinary tract infections, multiple chemical sensitivities, PMS, hormonal imbalances, Tourette’s, Addison’s disease, fibromyalgia, leaky gut syndrome, endometriosis, prostatitis, multiple sclerosis, migraines, muscle and joint pain, chronic pain, and many more.
In reading this list one might conclude that it seems impossible that any or all of these symptoms or diseases could be caused by just one condition. We have to remember that as a result of the unique characteristics of the development of each of our bodies due to the various exposures to environmental toxins, stresses, traumas, conditionings, diets and lifestyles, the expression of this funguses presence will be different for each of us. Yet the fact remains that once it has established its dominant presence in our system, it will control an effect every aspect of our lives.
The Candida yeast in and of itself is not a bad yeast. It is vital to our healthy bodies. It plays a critical role in capturing and sequestering heavy metals and other toxins that enter our body. We by no means do we want to rid ourselves entirely of this yeast. It is vital to our system. Yet when the bacteria and Flora that keep it in check and balance are compromised by the aforementioned antibiotics and S.A.D. C.R.A.P. diet, it becomes an opportunistic fungus that proliferates our every system.
So what can we do to rid ourselves of this condition? Is there a pill or medicine or something we can take that will take care of the situation?
A query of the word Candida on Google results in over 10.5 million hits on the word. There’s a whole plethora of systems that one can do or substances that are either natural or pharmaceutical that one can take. Not to mention hundreds upon hundreds of combinations of both. So which one do we do? What’s the best way to handle this situation?
The first thing to do is to realize that this overgrowth of yeast did not happen overnight. It is the result of one’s lifestyle over many years. Therefore, it is not something one should expect will be remedied overnight. Many people believe that they can simply throw some cure at this condition and maintain their current lifestyle. Unfortunately this approach almost always results in the resurgence or reoccurrence of the condition. It’s akin to treating the leaves of a plant when its roots and soil need attention.
One must look at their lifestyle and choices of nourishment. One must sincerely evaluate the cause and not just the symptoms. To be free of this most debilitating of conditions, one must truly change how they live.
For me, it took three months of eating a non-sugar, nonfat, completely raw food diet supplemented with probiotics and live enzymatic cultured foods such as homemade coconut kefir, cultured sauerkraut and non-fruit deep leafy green smoothies with plenty of relaxation and meditation. It took my rigorous attention to that protocol to finally get the condition under control. I had attempted several other remedies hoping to fast-track my recovery, yet it was only when I participated in the aforementioned lifestyle and diet change that I was able to sustain and maintain a healthy balance of this yeast.
There are programs to help jumpstart one’s healing at facilities such as the Optimum Health Institute, Hippocrates Institute, or the Tree of Life. These facilities provide one, two or three-week programs to help get you started. I myself went to the Optimum Health Institute in Austin Texas. During my second week of religiously following every aspect of their program, I released over 2 cups of yeast during a colonic. As the yeast left my body it literally felt as if an entity was being purged from my being and psyche. It felt as if a veil had been lifted and for the first time in my life it felt as though I could finally see and think clearly. Almost instantly a deep and profound sense of peace and well-being permeated my awareness.
In that moment of the release I realized how affected my entire life was as a result of this proliferating yeast in my body. Almost all of the sluggishness, lack of clarity, anxiety, weakness, fatigue, apathy and a whole host of symptoms just disappeared. Every one of the symptoms which over the years had become “normal” to me, were now gone. Being the educated and resourceful person that I am, I had found a whole host of ways to compensate for each one of these conditions. Yet now, the energy I had expended to compensate for this fungus, the energy I had expended just so I could remain functional in my life and in this world, was now available for me to use to live and thrive with in this world.
When I see the things that are happening in our country and on this planet I am baffled and completely perplexed as to why we aren’t really doing anything to change it. This question in my mind is by no means an attempt to discredit all those who are working so hard in order to facilitate change. Rather, it is an observation of our current conditions I witness because there certainly seems to be some form of mass hypnosis, lethargy or simply preoccupation with just struggling to survive that seems to be holding us back from doing what it is we all need and know we should be doing.
With all the things that have happened in our society, all the things that are happening in our world, with all the wars, the bailouts, the economy, the obliteration of many of our rights and privacy, the clear and obvious disregard for the Constitution, the disregard for the environment, the frauds, and so on and so forth, so many of us have asked, “Why aren’t the people out protesting in the streets?”
Could it be that there’s something intervening? Could it be that this something creates a placid and malleable public? Could it be that this something seems to be sustaining billions upon billions of dollars of industry? Could it be that this something interferes with one’s basic logic and the inherent right and ability to express an opposition to anything? Could it be that this something is causing us to destroy ourselves, our environment, and each other? Is there really a fungus among us?
The answer is up to you. For me… it’s just a fluke.
