All Of The Money In Your Bank Account Could Disappear In A Single Moment

Michael Snyder | The Economic Collapse

What would you do if you logged in to your bank account someday and it showed that you had a zero balance and your bank had no record that you ever had any money in your account?

What would you do if all of the money in your bank account suddenly disappeared in a single moment?

If you had not kept any paper records, which most Americans do not, it would be exceedingly difficult to prove to the bank that you actually had any money in the bank.  If you don’t think that something like this could ever happen in the United States, you might want to think again.

Cyber attacks against major banks in the United States are becoming more powerful and more sophisticated with each passing month.  In fact, major U.S. bank websites have been offline for a total of 249 hours over the past six weeks.  And just last month, thousands upon thousands of Chase customers logged into their bank accounts only to discover that their balances had all been reset to zero.

Anyone that would want to cause complete and total economic chaos in the United States could accomplish it very easily by wiping out all of our bank account records.  So please do not keep all of your money in a single bank, and from now on please keep a paper copy of all of your bank account statements.  At some point it is likely that one of these cyber attacks will cause permanent damage to our banking system, and you want to be protected.

The mainstream media has generally been very quiet about the massive cyber attacks against our major banks, but behind the scenes authorities are truly alarmed.  They don’t know how to stop these attacks, and they just keep getting more intense and more sophisticated.

Could you imagine how you would feel if you logged in to your bank account and all of your money was gone?  That is exactly what happened to some Chase customers last month.  The following is from a recent CNET article

JP Morgan Chase denied this evening that it had suffered a hack that many customers claimed had suddenly reduced their checking account balances to zero.

After discovering the apparently empty accounts via the Internet or mobile devices, many Chase banking customers turned to Twitter to express their frustration and show screen shots of zero balances. Other users were greeted with messages that their bank account balances were unavailable.

But this was most definitely not an isolated incident.  That same article noted that Chase and many of our other large banks have had their websites taken down for extended periods of time lately…

Customers’ suspicions about a possible security breach are natural, with the zero balances appearing less than a week after a massive distributed-denial-of-service attack rendered Chase’s Web sites useless for many hours. Customers trying to use the site’s tools were instead greeted with a note that the site was “temporarily down.”

Hackers have ratcheted up their assaults on financial institutions in recent months, using DDoS attacks to take down Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase, Citigroup, HSBC, and others.

In fact, as I mentioned above, major U.S. bank websites have been offline for an astounding 249 hours over the last six weeks alone.  The attacks just keep getting larger and bank officials are becoming very alarmed about the power of these cyber attacks.  The following is from an article that was posted on CNBC this week…

Major U.S. bank websites have been offline a total of 249 hours in the past six weeks, perhaps the clearest indication yet that American companies are prime targets in an unrelenting, global cyber conflict.

The heavier-than-usual outages are the result of a remarkable, sustained attack that began seven months ago and repeatedly knocks banks offline for hours at a time, frustrating consumers and bank security professionals alike.

“Literally, these banks are just in war rooms, sitting at controls trying to stop (the attacks),” said Avivah Litan, a bank security analyst with Gartner Group, a consulting firm. “The frightening thing is (the attackers) are not using as much resources as they have on call. The attacks could be bigger.”

So who is behind these attacks?

Some are blaming Chinese hackers, others believe that Iran is behind the attacks, and yet others are convinced that it is the work of Islamic terrorists.

It is kind of frightening that they cannot positively identify who is behind these attacks.  Whoever it is, they sure do seem to have a tremendous amount of resources and they are very sophisticated.

And in the future, it may not be hackers on the other side of the globe that are attacking our banks.  In fact, if someone wanted to “recapitalize the banks”, all they would have to do is wipe out all of our bank account records (including all backup records).  Suddenly trillions of dollars of “unsecured liabilities” (that is what our bank accounts are) would be wiped out and the banks would suddenly be solvent again.  Anyone that could not produce evidence that they actually had money in the banks would be in a lot of trouble.  It would be the largest single wealth transfer in the history of the world, and it would throw the U.S. economy into utter chaos.  This is a scenario that I am exploring in my new novel which will be coming out later this month.

In addition, there is the constant threat that a massive EMP burst could fry all of our electronics (including the banking records), but that is a topic that I have covered in a previous article.

And of course another way that your bank account could be wiped out in a single moment is if the government decides to “legally” steal it.  We just witnessed this happen in Cyprus.  In February, the Central Bank of Cyprus swore that such a thing could never possibly happen, but then one month later it did happen. The politicians will lie to your face until the very day comes when they steal your money.

Sadly, a very similar thing could easily happen in the United States someday. As I wrote about yesterday, the big banks are making incredibly reckless bets with our money.  When those bets go bad, our money could very well be used to cover those bets.

One way this could be accomplished is by using a practice known as “rehypothecation”.  It sounds complicated, but it really isn’t.  Basically, the banks use money that clients have entrusted to them to cover their own gambling debts.  This is how rehypothecaton is defined by Investopedia

“The practice by banks and brokers of using, for their own purposes, assets that have been posted as collateral by their clients.”

An excellent article by Jeff Nielson detailed how this could result in the big banks grabbing our money when their trillions of dollars of reckless bets go bad…

1) Our banking regulators knowingly allow financial institutions to engage in recklessly misleading (if not outright fraudulent) contracts with their clients, through the use of complex “small print” in their account contracts with clients.

2) The three largest U.S. “banks” by deposit (JP Morgan, Bank of America, Citigroup) have made bets in their own rigged casino, which total well in excess of $100 trillion, an amount which completely dwarfs their total, combined deposits (and assets).

3) A large portion of those bets occur in the $60+ trillion credit default swap market. Pay-outs in these markets can (and do) exceed 300 times the amount of the original bet. It is bets in this market which “blew up” AIG, requiring more than $150 billion in immediate government aid.

4) Following the Crash of ’08; these same banks mooched a package of hand-outs, tax-breaks and “guarantees” (i.e. future hand-outs) from the Bush regime in excess of $15 trillion, the last time their gambling debts went bad on them – and all of these banks have been allowed to dramatically increase the total amount of their gambling since then.

5) It would take only a minor change in the gambling contracts in which these bankers engage to allow their creditors to seize funds out of ordinary bank accounts.

6) The existing language for the bank accounts of these U.S. banks is possibly already so vague (and prejudicial to clients) that it would allow these banks to reinterpret the terms of these bank accounts – and allow rehypothecation to be used to rob the holders of ordinary bank accounts, people who themselves make no “bets” in markets whatsoever. Alternately, customers could be blitzed with an offer for “new and improved” bank accounts, where terms allowing rehypothecation are slipped into the contract, with the  banks knowing that the “regulators” will do nothing to warn account-holders of the gigantic risk they are taking.

But we are all covered by deposit insurance, right?

That is what the people of Cyprus thought too.

As we just saw in Cyprus, when there is a “banking crisis” sometimes government steps in and suddenly changes all of the rules overnight even though the vast majority of the population is against it.

Hopefully you can see that no bank account will ever truly be “safe” ever again.

Your money may be safe today, and your money may be there next week, but someday it could disappear in a single moment.

And the general public is definitely starting to lose faith in the banking system. Google searches for the term “bank run” have been absolutely spiking recently. Just check out this chart which shows that searches for “bank run” are now the highest that they have ever been.

So what should we all do to protect ourselves?

As I mentioned earlier, it is important to not have all of your money in one bank, and from now on you will want to permanently keep paper copies of all of your bank account statements.

Someday you may need those statements in order to prove that you actually had money in the bank.

Our world is becoming increasingly unstable, and at some point financial disaster is going to strike.

By taking prudent precautions now, hopefully you will be able to minimize the damage to your family.

Bilderberg comes to Watford: The evidence

The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire on June 6th-9th

This year’s Bilderberg conference will take place in the UK, at the luxury Grove Hotel, Hertfordshire, just north of Watford. This is still just speculation, but the signs are good…

Why do we think Bilderberg is taking place at the Grove?

The whole hotel – including three restaurants, a luxury spa and walled garden – is completely booked out by a private group from the 5th to the 9th of June. This was first spotted by an Italian documentary maker who is an expert on Bilderberg.

The Grove – “a private family-owned luxury hotel” – is no stranger to international conferences: it has previously hosted the exclusive Google Zeitgeist conference (in 2009, 2010 and 2012). And Google’s Chairman, Eric Schmidt is no stranger to Bilderberg.

Hotel staff have said that the booking has been made by a ‘major’ and ‘high profile’ group. The whole hotel is ‘out of bounds’ and ‘in lockdown’ for the duration. One member of staff said: ‘We don’t know what it is, senior staff know what it is but they won’t tell us.’ They first heard about this unusual event in January.

Hotel spa members, who have paid a yearly membership of £2400, are banned from accessing the luxury spa facilities from 2pm on Weds 5th June to 12pm on Sunday 9th June. They will get 5 days added at the end of their membership.

We were told by the nearby Fullerians Rugby Club, that it has taken an unusual booking from Herts Constabulary, who have booked the entire grounds and facilities for ten days – spanning the weekend of the conference. The rugby club has no idea what the booking is actually for. Could this be the base of operations for security during the event?

The diary of regular conference participant Neelie Kroes indicates that she will be in the UK over this weekend, plus the diary of the future King of the Netherlands and his mother, Queen Beatrix, is free between the 6th and the 9th. (The outgoing Queen Beatrix has long been one of the most prominent attendees).

This information corroborates a recent leak from a good source that the conference will take place in a ‘London suburb’ from the 6th-9th June.

The group is due a visit to England (they were last in England 36 years ago in Torquay, and met in Scotland in 1998).

Bilderberg

This is the annual conference of the Bilderberg Group. Every year, the 35 members of the Steering Committee invite around 100 influential figures to attend the 3 day event. According to Bilderberg itself, the conference consists of: “nearly three days of informal and off-the-record discussion about topics of current concern especially in the fields of foreign affairs and the international economy”.

At the conference, officials from governments and opposition parties mix, in private, with banks bosses, heads of state, senior corporate officers, academics, and representatives of all the major international institutions (NATO, the EU, the IMF, the World Bank, the European Central Bank, the WTO etc.) Bilderberg insists that all participants attend in a private capacity – but in 2011, it was revealed that George Osborne attended the St Mortitz Bilderberg conference in his official capacity as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

If Bilderberg 2013 is in the UK, we can expect a return visit from George Osborne (a long time attendee) and Bilderberg steering committee member Ken Clarke MP, and conference regular Lord Mandelson. It’s also likely that David Cameron and Mark Carney (the soon-to-be Bank of England governor) will pay visits (both have also attended Bilderberg in the past). We’ll also be seeing the CEOs and Chairmen of banks and corporations such as Barclays, HSBC, Santander, Nestlé, Novartis, Airbus, Microsoft and Goldman Sachs. Plus the usual smattering of senior US State Dept and Treasury officials, National Security Advisers, Finance Ministers, European royals, Pentagon top brass and the head of the NSA.

We expect the conference agenda in 2013 to include the North Korea situation, the Cyprus “bailout”, and the ever deepening crisis in the Eurozone.

Caution

To be clear: we have no final confirmation that Bilderberg is going to be located at the Grove Hotel, but from what we know of Bilderberg’s MO this set-up fits the bill. There are few other groups with the power and resources to shut down a major hotel for five days like this in conditions of such secrecy. Please check back on this website for updates.

At this stage, it’s up to you to weigh up the evidence, and decide if you think this year’s Bilderberg conference is indeed coming to Watford.

But if it is:

http://wikitravel.org/en/Watford
http://www.thegrove.co.uk/location/

Watford is served by two tubes and an overland station. There are plenty of hotels and bed and breakfasts in the town and camping may be available nearby (please check updates on this website for details). There would also be a functioning press room for bloggers, journalists and filmmakers.

If Bilderberg does take place in Watford, we would urge citizen journalists, concerned citizens and interested parties to come along and witness a major international summit taking place. Enjoy the spectacle, meet new friends, and secure your souvenir picture of a Bilderberg participant gliding into the Grove’s grounds in a tinted limo.

Conference participants generally arrive from Thursday afternoon through to Friday morning and leave on Sunday morning (or late on Saturday).

Security is always extremely tight – it’s a huge operation – the hotel and its grounds is cordoned off. No press statement is made.

The privacy means that Bilderberg delegates will be able to stroll in peace in the ornamental gardens of the hotel, enjoying the wonderful, life-affirming art on display…

Activities

The hotel is near an idyllic canal, and glorious woods – and no other event or protest compares to Bilderberg for quality of roadside conversation. This year would also see the launch of the Bilderberg Fringe Festival.

Please check back on this website for scheduled events. If you have any queries (or can give us any confirmatory details) email us at bilderberg2013@yahoo.co.uk

If Watford does play host to Bilderberg, any help with organising the festival or acts who wish to perform, would be wonderful. People with technical expertise, bloggers, artists, filmmakers, photographers and entertainers would all be needed at this event. Bankers, lawyers, academics – even politicians – and any concerned citizens who believe in governmental transparency – should come too.

This is a powerful international summit, and it deserves the attention of the world’s media.

FBI Caught in a Web of Lies in Boston

Please help us ID them. Oops, we already knew exactly who they were.

Why did the FBI make a spectacle out of releasing the photos of the alleged Boston bombing suspects to the public feigning ignorance on who they were, asking for the public’s help to identify them, when they knew all along who they were?

Remember the FBI saying the following:

These photos should be the only ones the public should view to assist us. Other photos should not be deemed credible. They unnecessarily divert the public’s attention in the wrong direction, and create undue work for vital law enforcement resources.

This entire press conference is now exposed as a lie since we now know the FBI was “monitoring them at every step”, according to their own admission.

The FBI originally denied first meeting with the bombing suspect two years ago (lie #2), according to CBS. That was until they were forced to admit their involvement with the suspects.

CBS reported “The FBI admitted Friday they interviewed the now-deceased Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev two years ago and failed to find any incriminating information about him.”

The suspects’ family also state that they were well aware of an ongoing relationship between the FBI and the boys. Family members said they were “monitored” and “counseled” at every step, and the FBI was “controlling” and “following” them for years.

Their mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, in an interview with RT, said that the FBI had made contact with the family on multiple occasions:

“They used to come [to our] home, they used to talk to me … they were telling me that he was really an extremist leader and that they were afraid of him,” Tsarnaeva said.

“They told me whatever information he is getting, he gets from these extremist sites… they were controlling him, they were controlling his every step…and now they say that this is a terrorist act!”

So the FBI, after first denying monitoring them, says yes, we did meet with him (Tamerlan) but “failed to find any incriminating information about him” while telling their mother that “he was really an extremist leader and that they were afraid of him.” (lie #3)

There are only two possible conclusions to explain the FBI’s blatant lies; either they’re covering up their complete incompetence to stop attacks that they were monitoring, or they’re covering up the fact that they were spurring and handling the bombing plot in the first place, as they’ve done in countless other fake terror plot cases.

History would indicate that the lies are a little of both: direct involvement and incompetence. It’s apparent they had a direct hand working with the suspects, but complete incompetence in pulling off the plot without their fingerprints all over it.

This deception in the Boston bombing case was premeditated and not just some fog-of-war, we-don’t-have-all-the-facts-yet confusion. That much is now clear.

And since these significant lies have been revealed, how are we to believe in wild car chases, car jackings, police shootouts, and the rest of the crazy narrative spewing out of the FBI’s PR department?

It’s beyond convenient for covering up their deception that the Tsarnaev brothers have been rendered incapacitated with one mutilated and killed, and the other in critical condition waiting for justice without Miranda Rights. It will surprise no one if Dzhokhar (suspect 2) winds up dead, because dead men tell no tales.

Fact: the FBI has been involved in staging numerous fake terror plots using patsies to make themselves look like heroes when they stop the attack. Now they’ve been caught in a web of lies surrounding one that went live and resulted in the deaths of Americans.

Question: In what world are they not the prime suspects here?

Their days of terrorizing the American public into giving up civil liberties with false flags are numbered as the truth becomes more difficult to hide.

There’s a Fungus among Us

by Joe Marshalla Ph.D.

Several years ago researchers were observing ants in a grassy field. Amongst all the behaviors that were occurring in the midst of the colony, there was one particular ant that was displaying a very peculiar trait. This one ant for some reason kept attempting to scale a tall piece of grass in order to reach the very top. Once there, it would stop moving and just bask in the sun. Eventually the wind would blow and this ant would fall to the ground and immediately pick itself up and begin climbing another piece of grass. For hours and hours, over and over this ant continued repeating this behavior and pattern.

The scientists were perplexed as to what biological purpose this was serving. Why was this ant trying to climb this piece of grass and stay at the top? Was there some ultimate reason this ant needed to be at the top of this piece of grass? The scientist finally concluded, “No.” There was no biological reason in the life of an ant that would cause it to exhibit this behavior. So then why was this ant doing this? Was it just a fluke?

And the answer was yes. It was a Fluke. It was a Lancet Fluke. A Lancet Fluke is a parasite that lives in the stomach of cows and sheep. And when this parasite is evacuated from the animal’s intestines through its excrement, it waits for a passing by ant that it can attach itself to. Eventually this hitchhiking parasite burrows into the ants body and then up into the ant’s brain. Once there, it hijacks the ant’s brain and commandeers its body as an all-terrain vehicle so it can climb to the top of the grass in hopes of being eaten by a cow or sheep so that it can return to the environment where it thrives.

So this parasite, in its own need to survive, infiltrates the life form of the ant causing the ant to exhibit suicidal or life destructive behaviors.

We too, as humans, have such an entity that has infiltrated our minds and bodies. The infestation is so profound that it is estimated that as high as 90-95 percent of all Americans suffer from this epidemic condition. And like the Lancet Fluke our invader causes us to eat as we should not eat, think as we should not think and behave in ways that are not only detrimental to ourselves, but to our planet as a whole. And the infiltration of this invader is so thorough and complete that it is difficult to believe it was not engineered, or at the very least encouraged to thrive in our population through the distribution and over use of anti-biotic pharmaceuticals as well as our Standard American Diet of Coffee, Refined Sugars, Alcohol and Processed Foods otherwise known as the S.A.D. C.R.A.P. diet.

So, what are we talking about? What could possibly be hijacking our brains and commandeering our lives? What organism could be causing us as individuals, groups or nations to act illogically, apathetically or in ways that are detrimental to ourselves and/or others? What could possibly be causing our species to destroy its environment and/or even act in a suicidal self destructive way like the ant? I submit to you my friends that what we are talking about is an unchecked, unbalanced yeast overgrowth known as Candida Albicans, a.k.a. Candida. Candida Albicans is a diploid fungus or form of yeast.

One might ask, “A yeast infection? Is that all? Isn’t that what women get?” Well firstly it is not something that only women get. And secondly, it has been identified in women more than men, but rest assured it has infiltrated both genders. And please be advised that by the time it shows up symptomatically in discharges, rashes or coatings on the tongue, you can be sure that its growth has become systemic within your body.

As far as this author understands, every major disease that we know of can be linked or associated with the overgrowth of this yeast. Its unchecked presence in our digestive tract throws off every aspect of our body’s ability to function. This includes but is not limited to the digestion of our food, the function of our immune system, our neurology and the interaction and communication between all these systems.

The following is a brief list of some of the symptoms that vary from person to person and fluctuate in severity. The symptoms may not be consistent and may even come and go sporadically depending on the person. Most symptoms are invisible, which makes it even more difficult to diagnose and for many to understand.

Many of the symptoms associated with Candida are:

  • an incapacitating fatigue
  • problems with concentration and short-term memory

  • Dry eyes
  • Irregular discharge

Psychological problems may include:

  • depression
  • irritability
  • anxiety
  • panic attacks
  • recurring obsessive thoughts
  • personality changes and mood swings (irrational rage or crying for no reason – fear of talking to people, any kind of confrontation, isolation)
  • paranoia

More of the physical symptoms may include:

  • chills and night sweats
  • shortness of breath
  • dizziness and balance problems
  • sensitivity to heat and/or cold
  • alcohol intolerance

  • chronic toenail and fingernail fungus
  • ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • allergies and sensitivities to noise/sound, foods, odors, chemicals
  • anemia
  • weight changes without changes in diet
  • light-headedness
  • feeling in a fog
  • fainting
  • muscle twitching and muscle weakness
  • restless leg syndrome
  • low sex drive and/or numbness in the genital area
  • sugar cravings

One of the most well known forms of yeast is the vaginal yeast infection. However, it appears to play a role in just about any mental health condition or chronic illness you can think of. Yeast overgrowth is considered to be a leading contributor in anxiety disorders, food allergies, asthma, alcoholism, clinical depression, rheumatoid arthritis, attention deficit disorder, autism, chronic fatigue syndrome, Crohn’s, lupus, digestive disturbances, irritable bowel syndrome, repeated urinary tract infections, multiple chemical sensitivities, PMS, hormonal imbalances, Tourette’s, Addison’s disease, fibromyalgia, leaky gut syndrome, endometriosis, prostatitis, multiple sclerosis, migraines, muscle and joint pain, chronic pain, and many more.

In reading this list one might conclude that it seems impossible that any or all of these symptoms or diseases could be caused by just one condition. We have to remember that as a result of the unique characteristics of the development of each of our bodies due to the various exposures to environmental toxins, stresses, traumas, conditionings, diets and lifestyles, the expression of this funguses presence will be different for each of us. Yet the fact remains that once it has established its dominant presence in our system, it will control an effect every aspect of our lives.

The Candida yeast in and of itself is not a bad yeast. It is vital to our healthy bodies. It plays a critical role in capturing and sequestering heavy metals and other toxins that enter our body. We by no means do we want to rid ourselves entirely of this yeast. It is vital to our system. Yet when the bacteria and Flora that keep it in check and balance are compromised by the aforementioned antibiotics and S.A.D. C.R.A.P. diet, it becomes an opportunistic fungus that proliferates our every system.

So what can we do to rid ourselves of this condition? Is there a pill or medicine or something we can take that will take care of the situation?

A query of the word Candida on Google results in over 10.5 million hits on the word. There’s a whole plethora of systems that one can do or substances that are either natural or pharmaceutical that one can take. Not to mention hundreds upon hundreds of combinations of both. So which one do we do? What’s the best way to handle this situation?

The first thing to do is to realize that this overgrowth of yeast did not happen overnight. It is the result of one’s lifestyle over many years. Therefore, it is not something one should expect will be remedied overnight. Many people believe that they can simply throw some cure at this condition and maintain their current lifestyle. Unfortunately this approach almost always results in the resurgence or reoccurrence of the condition. It’s akin to treating the leaves of a plant when its roots and soil need attention.

One must look at their lifestyle and choices of nourishment. One must sincerely evaluate the cause and not just the symptoms. To be free of this most debilitating of conditions, one must truly change how they live.

For me, it took three months of eating a non-sugar, nonfat, completely raw food diet supplemented with probiotics and live enzymatic cultured foods such as homemade coconut kefir, cultured sauerkraut and non-fruit deep leafy green smoothies with plenty of relaxation and meditation. It took my rigorous attention to that protocol to finally get the condition under control. I had attempted several other remedies hoping to fast-track my recovery, yet it was only when I participated in the aforementioned lifestyle and diet change that I was able to sustain and maintain a healthy balance of this yeast.

There are programs to help jumpstart one’s healing at facilities such as the Optimum Health Institute, Hippocrates Institute, or the Tree of Life. These facilities provide one, two or three-week programs to help get you started. I myself went to the Optimum Health Institute in Austin Texas. During my second week of religiously following every aspect of their program, I released over 2 cups of yeast during a colonic. As the yeast left my body it literally felt as if an entity was being purged from my being and psyche. It felt as if a veil had been lifted and for the first time in my life it felt as though I could finally see and think clearly. Almost instantly a deep and profound sense of peace and well-being permeated my awareness.

In that moment of the release I realized how affected my entire life was as a result of this proliferating yeast in my body. Almost all of the sluggishness, lack of clarity, anxiety, weakness, fatigue, apathy and a whole host of symptoms just disappeared. Every one of the symptoms which over the years had become “normal” to me, were now gone. Being the educated and resourceful person that I am, I had found a whole host of ways to compensate for each one of these conditions. Yet now, the energy I had expended to compensate for this fungus, the energy I had expended just so I could remain functional in my life and in this world, was now available for me to use to live and thrive with in this world.

When I see the things that are happening in our country and on this planet I am baffled and completely perplexed as to why we aren’t really doing anything to change it. This question in my mind is by no means an attempt to discredit all those who are working so hard in order to facilitate change. Rather, it is an observation of our current conditions I witness because there certainly seems to be some form of mass hypnosis, lethargy or simply preoccupation with just struggling to survive that seems to be holding us back from doing what it is we all need and know we should be doing.

With all the things that have happened in our society, all the things that are happening in our world, with all the wars, the bailouts, the economy, the obliteration of many of our rights and privacy, the clear and obvious disregard for the Constitution, the disregard for the environment, the frauds, and so on and so forth, so many of us have asked, “Why aren’t the people out protesting in the streets?”

Could it be that there’s something intervening? Could it be that this something creates a placid and malleable public? Could it be that this something seems to be sustaining billions upon billions of dollars of industry? Could it be that this something interferes with one’s basic logic and the inherent right and ability to express an opposition to anything? Could it be that this something is causing us to destroy ourselves, our environment, and each other? Is there really a fungus among us?

The answer is up to you. For me… it’s just a fluke.

The Goal Is To Destroy All Constitutional Culture

In America, our cultural method of debate tends to divide individual issues into carefully separated spheres of discussion. This hyperfocus on single issues, from gun rights to illegal wars to invasion of privacy, draws us away from looking at the bigger interconnected picture, otherwise known as the “macro.” Each social or political conflict is compartmentalized by the mainstream, the dots are left isolated and the overwhelming overall threat to our foundational principles is marginalized.

The problem with this civic philosophy is that the general public is left without peripheral vision and unequipped to comprehend that there is a process in motion, an overarching plan that is eating away at the edges of our liberty from every angle, one small piece at a time. That is to say, we have been conditioned to obsess over the pieces and ignore the plan.

I want you to imagine the globalist establishment and the useful socialist idiots it employs as a hive of ants lurking in the grass around a bountiful picnic basket you (or your forefathers) worked very hard to procure. Now, one ant snatches a single crumb and races away, and you think to yourself that losing that one crumb is not such a sacrifice. A few more ants pilfer crumbs, and you shrug it off. A dozen more arrive, and you start to worry a little but are still too lazy to pull out the Raid. The rest of the hive sees your apathy and attacks, gobbling everything in a swarm of single-minded destruction. Left with nothing, you sit dumbfounded and hungry, wondering where you went wrong. The truth is, you went wrong with the first ant.

Not only are personal wealth and property ransacked by the collective in this way, but also personal freedom.

Every time a smaller attack on liberty is exposed or openly announced by the cult of statism, elitists invariably respond with a false face of rationality and common sense. They claim that they respect the line. They claim that they will take only the minimum. They claim that they are pursuing only a reasonable compromise. They expound on the “virtues” of their motives. They sing songs of unity, brotherhood and the greater good. They appeal to our diplomatic side; and if that doesn’t work, they try to shame us instead for being “selfish” or “ignorant” of so-called “social progress.” But this never has been and never will be about social progress.

Their goal is not to introduce greater understanding or awareness. It is not about public good or public safety. And at the very core, it is not about truth. If they cared about truth or principle and if their objectives were honorable, they would not feel the need to constantly lie, cheat, steal, manipulate and threaten in an effort to impose their own worldview on the rest of us. If their purpose was as righteous as they pretend, then deceit and subversion should be beneath them. Their philosophy should be able to carry itself, without their convoluted efforts.

The power elites and the people who blindly follow them are not interested in being on the right side. They are interested only in being on the winning side, and the two are certainly not the same. In the end, the result they covet most is not to achieve compromise on Constitutional ideals, but to achieve total and unequivocal destruction of those ideals. They seek to erase our heritage from history, along with those of us who value it. They want to annihilate Constitutional culture.

Through the efforts of the liberty movement, many Americans are now at least loosely aware of such issues as the National Defense Authorization Act, which allows the designation of anyone — including American citizens — as enemy combatants subject to the laws of war, thus destroying the Constitutional right to due process and trial by jury. They have witnessed the vicious trampling of the 4th Amendment and our right to privacy through legislation like the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. They have been confronted with the gross tyranny of Barack Obama’s executive assassination lists and predator drone fetish. They are aware of the existence of Department of Defense efforts to remove all vestiges of Posse Comitatus and allow standing military authority in the United States through the U.S. Northern Command (Northcom).

All of these things are clearly part of a violent war on our Constitutional rights, but what about the more subtle poison being introduced under the surface? The first place to look is always in your child’s school.

In Duvall County, Fla., the father of a 10-year-old boy discovered his son had been asked by a teacher to write and sign this statement as part of a school project:

“I am willing to give up some of my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure.”

When questioned on the purpose of directing fourth-graders to sign such a statement, the school district argued that the students participated in the activity of their own free will and that the lesson was designed to “create an awareness of the five rights contained in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution” and help students “determine their opinions on which rights they value most and least.”

First of all, let’s be honest; I went through public schooling, and anyone else who went through it knows as well as I do that almost nothing within the public school system is treated as voluntary. Threats, fearmongering and mob mentality are all used by State teachers all across the country daily to manipulate and terrorize children into submitting to the program. As a nostalgic refresher, re-examine the incident in a North Carolina school in which a teacher screamed down a student who criticized Obama, claiming that people “could be arrested” for speaking ill of the President.

Secondly, if the teacher in Duvall County was looking to encourage students to “think critically” about their Constitutional rights, then perhaps it would have been helpful to educate them on what those rights are. Unfortunately, the children had not been given practical lessons on their rights before being asked to abandon them for “safety.”

This is a perfect example of the indoctrination process in action. While the gun rights issue has brought the politicization of public schools out in the open, with federalized education centers punishing children across the Nation for merely playing with imaginary guns or talking about toy guns, the real target is not the gun issue for the establishment.  The real target is all Constitutional thought.

Perhaps this is why the methodology of home-schooling has been so demonized by the mainstream, and why Ron Paul’s latest home-schooling initiative is already being attacked as “Christian fundamentalism.” The real reason the establishment’s panties are in a twist is simple; they do not like the idea of parents being able to compose their child’s own curriculum and, thus, remove anti-Constitutional conditioning from their daily lives.

The erasure of Constitutional culture has spread far beyond schooling, however.

The city of New Rochelle, N.Y., has demanded a local veterans’ post take down its Gadsden flag, a flag in existence since the Revolutionary War, because it has been adopted as a symbol of the Tea Party. The city council, led by Democratic Mayor Noam Bramson, voted to remove the flag after voicing concerns about the flag’s message.

Obama sycophant and hardcore big-government mouthpiece Bill Maher this week stated that the left (neo-liberals) needs to stop being afraid of its true goal in the gun debate — to dissolve the 2nd Amendment — rather than play at compromise.

“I’m so sorry, but this is the problem with the gun debate — it is that it’s a constant center-right debate,” Maher said. “There’s no left in this debate. Everyone on the left is so afraid to say what should be said, which is the Second Amendment is bullshit. Why doesn’t anyone go at the core of it?”

My response would be: “Yes, please do admit your true goals, gun grabbers and opponents of civil liberties. At least be honest about your fascist intentions so that we can stop playing games and have a real eye to eye debate (or fight) on the subject.:

And finally, NASCAR has come under siege by anti-2nd Amendment legislators as well as the media in general for allowing the National Rifle Association to endorse races. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) called on broadcasters to block transmissions of the NRA 500 because it would bring national attention to gun rights while the Senate is legislating for gun control (which, in his opinion, is bad).

Perhaps this is purely coincidental, but the timing of this stance against NASCAR’s support of gun culture has arisen right as Oath Keepers, a Constitutional organization dedicated to teaching current serving military, veterans and law enforcement about civil liberties and the affirmation of their oath, announced it is working with racecar driver Jeffrey Earnhardt to bring an Oath Keepers-sponsored vehicle to the NASCAR track.

While some people may not care less about NASCAR or even the 2nd Amendment, I would point out that through the gun issue, the establishment is ultimately undermining the holy grail of the 1st Amendment. If gun rights speech and culture can be silenced in the name of “safety” or “compassion,” then why not any other belief?

This problem of selective free-speech has now been exacerbated by the Boston Marathon Bombings.  Oath Keepers had planned and already received a permit for a high profile rally at Lexington Green in Massachusetts (a public venue where one should not need a permit to rally anyway), but the bombings opened the door for the Lexington Board (one member had been trying to undermine the rally from it’s inception) to revoke the event.  The excuse given was, of course, that it was for everyone’s “safety”, and that not enough police were available to secure it.  Though, a secondary event in a nearby town remains approved with little to no trouble.  The right to free speech is NOT subject to the intensity of the times, it is sacrosanct.  Period.  However, many in government today believe that they can rescind our Constitutional liberties whenever the public is distracted enough by disaster.

Incidents like these by themselves do not necessarily seem like an imminent threat to the freedoms of average citizens; but, taken together as a flurry of strategic movements, they represent a full spectrum attack on the very pillars of our founding structure. Throughout history, when conquerors wished to fully dominate a population, they would seek to slowly subsume the people’s mythology and principles. They would attempt to co-opt cultural ideas and values, twisting them into something completely different or wiping them from memory altogether. When the people lose their traditions and heritage, they become easier to mold and rule. This is exactly what is happening in the United States today: an ideological colonization that views Constitutional life as a mortal enemy and hopes to obliterate it from the pages of time.

Top 10 most unhealthy, cancer-causing foods

The statement “everything causes cancer” has become a popular hyperbole, and one that some people use as rhetorical fodder to excuse their own dietary and lifestyle failures, particularly as they pertain to cancer risk. But the truth of the matter is that many common food items have, indeed, been scientifically shown to increase cancer risk, and some of them substantially. Here are 10 of the most unhealthy, cancer-causing foods that you should never eat again:

1) Genetically-modified organisms (GMOs). It goes without saying that GMOs have no legitimate place in any cancer-free diet, especially now that both GMOs and the chemicals used to grow them have been shown to cause rapid tumor growth. But GMOs are everywhere, including in most food derivatives made from conventional corn, soybeans, and canola. However, you can avoid them by sticking with certified organic, certified non-GMO verified, and locally-grown foods that are produced naturally without biotechnology (http://www.naturalnews.com).

2) Processed meats. Most processed meat products, including lunch meats, bacon, sausage, and hot dogs, contain chemical preservatives that make them appear fresh and appealing, but that can also cause cancer. Both sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate have been linked to significantly increasing the risk of colon and other forms of cancer, so be sure to choose only uncured meat products made without nitrates, and preferably from grass-fed sources (http://www.organicconsumers.org/foodsafety/processedmeat050305.cfm).

3) Microwave popcorn. They might be convenient, but those bags of microwave popcorn are lined with chemicals that are linked to causing not only infertility but also liver, testicular, and pancreatic cancers. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognizes the perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) in microwave popcorn bag linings as “likely” carcinogenic, and several independent studies have linked the chemical to causing tumors. Similarly, the diacetyl chemical used in the popcorn itself is linked to causing both lung damage and cancer (http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/QAA400701/Microwave-Popcorn-Threat.html).

4) Soda pop. Like processed meats, soda pop has been shown to cause cancer as well. Loaded with sugar, food chemicals, and colorings, soda pop acidifies the body and literally feeds cancer cells. Common soda pop chemicals like caramel color and its derivative 4-methylimidazole (4-MI) have also specifically been linked to causing cancer (http://www.naturalnews.com/031383_caramel_coloring_cola.html).

5) ‘Diet’ foods, beverages. Even worse than conventional sugar-sweetened soda pop, though, is “diet” soda pop and various other diet beverages and foods. A recent scientific review issued by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) of more than 20 separate research studies found that aspartame, one of the most common artificial sweeteners, causes a range of illnesses including birth defects and cancer. Sucralose (Splenda), saccharin and various other artificial sweeteners have also been linked to causing cancer (http://www.dailymail.co.uk).

6) Refined ‘white’ flours. Refined flour is a common ingredient in processed foods, but its excess carbohydrate content is a serious cause for concern. A study published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Mile Markers, and Prevention found that regular consumption of refined carbohydrates was linked to a 220 percent increase in breast cancer among women. High-glycemic foods in general have also been shown to rapidly raise blood sugar levels in the body, which directly feeds cancer cell growth and spread (http://www.naturalnews.com/001812_cancer_prevention.html).

7) Refined sugars. The same goes for refined sugars, which tend to rapidly spike insulin levels and feed the growth of cancer cells. Fructose-rich sweeteners like high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) are particularly offensive, as cancer cells have been shown to quickly and easily metabolize them in order to proliferate. And since cookies, cakes, pies, sodas, juices, sauces, cereals, and many other popular, mostly processed, food items are loaded with HFCS and other refined sugars, this helps explain why cancer rates are on the rise these days (http://www.naturalnews.com/038071_cancer_sugar_sweets.html).

8) Conventional apples, grapes, and other ‘dirty’ fruits. Many people think they are eating healthy when they buy apples, grapes, or strawberries from the store. But unless these fruits are organic or verified to be pesticide-free, they could be a major cancer risk. The Environmental Working Group (EWG) found that up to 98 percent of all conventional produce, and particularly the type found on its “dirty” fruits list, is contaminated with cancer-causing pesticides (http://www.ewg.org/foodnews/list/).

9) Farmed salmon. Farmed salmon is another high-risk cancer food, according to Dr. David Carpenter, Director of the Institute for Health and the Environment at the University of Albany. According to his assessment, farmed salmon not only lacks vitamin D, but it is often contaminated with carcinogenic chemicals, PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), flame retardants, pesticides, and antibiotics (http://www.albany.edu/ihe/salmonstudy/pressrelease.html).

10) Hydrogenated oils. They are commonly used to preserve processed foods and keep them shelf-stable. But hydrogenated oils alter the structure and flexibility of cell membranes throughout the body, which can lead to a host of debilitating diseases such as cancer. Some manufacturers are phasing out the use of hydrogenated oils and replacing them with palm oil and other safer alternatives, but trans fats are still widely used in processed foods (http://www.naturalnews.com/010095_hydrogenated_oils_unhealthy.html).

Stonehenge 5,000 Years Older Than Thought

Excavation near Stonehenge found evidence of a settlement dating back to 7,500 BC, revealing the site was occupied some 5,000 years earlier than previously thought.

Working at Vespasian’s Camp in Amesbury, Wiltshire, less than a mile from the megalithic stones, a team led by archaeologist David Jacques of the Open University unearthed material which contradicted the general belief that no people settled there until as late as 2,500 BC.

Indeed, carbon dating of the material revealed the existence of a semi-permanent settlement which was occupied from 7,500 to 4,700 BC. The dating showed that people were present during every millennium in between.

NEWS: Stonehenge Was Ancient Rave Spot

The team has “found the community who put the first monument up at Stonehenge,” archaeologist Josh Pollard from Southampton University and the Stonehenge Riverside Project, told the BBC.

The researchers believe that the people who settled at Vespasian’s Camp also built the first monument at Stonehenge — large wooden posts erected between the 9th and 7th millennia BC.

The findings, to be broadcast in a documentary on BBC One, shows that Stonehenge wasn’t just abandoned by Mesolithic humans and occupied by Neolithic people thousands of years later. On the contrary, it represents a place where one culture mingled with the other.

PHOTOS: Stonehenge Made to Glisten

Jacques started to survey the area after seeing aerial photographs of the site in 1999 as a student.

He noticed it contained a natural spring, which would have attracted animals.

“What we found was the nearest secure watering hole for animals and people, a type of all year round fresh water source,” Jacques told the BBC.

ANALYSIS: Understanding Stonehenge: Two Explanations

“My thinking was where you find wild animals, you tend to find people, certainly hunter gatherer groups coming afterwards,” he added.

According to Peter Rowley-Conwy, professor of archaeology at Durham University, the finding is significant.

“The site has the potential to become one of the most important Mesolithic sites in northwestern Europe,” Rowley-Conwy said.

Orgies, Incest & More: Biggest Vatican Scandals

You thought a little resignation was bad? How about the pope whose syphilis was so bad he couldn’t preach, or the one who threw orgies, or the one who had a kid with his sister? Caroline Linton runs through the biggest scandals the church has ever seen—from modern pedophilia all the way back to a dead pontiff on trial in 897.

Benedict XVI Resigns, 2013

Benedict’s resignation came as a real shock—he’s the first pope to resign in nearly 600 years, with the last resignation being Gregory XII, who stepped down in 1415 to end a church schism. The 85-year-old pontiff announced he would be stepping aside on Feb. 28 due to declining health, citing his “incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me.” Taking over in April 2005, Benedict was a surprising pick for pope to begin with: Born Joseph Ratzinger in Germany in 1927, he was a member of the Hitler Youth during World War II, although he insisted he was never part of the Nazi Party. As a cardinal, Benedict was one of the most conservative in the church, making his pick all the more unusual after popular reformer Pope John Paul II.

Pedophilia in the American Church, 2001-present

There were always the whispers about American Catholic priests sexually abusing children—with one bishop apparently warning of the consequences as far back as the 1950s—but the church’s role in covering up the abuse came to light in 2002 when the Boston Globe published an in-depth investigation into defrocked priest John Geoghan, who had been suspected of molesting an estimated 150 children over a 30-year period. Geoghan would eventually be convicted in criminal court and sentenced to 10 years in prison and murdered two years into his sentence. But the real scandal was that the church had not only known about the allegations against Geoghan, they had moved him from parish to parish, sent him to therapy, and tried to cover it up—even after he was defrocked in 1998. After the Geoghan case, hundreds of other instances were uncovered, including in Los Angeles, where the church agreed to pay over $600 million in 2007 to settle with victims dating back decades.

Vatican Commission Endorses Birth Control—Then Pope Takes It Back, 1960s

The Catholic Church and birth control have had a long, complicated relationship. When the pill was introduced in the 1960s, Pope John XXIII appointed a commission called the Study of Problems of Population, Family, and Birth (featuring one Polish bishop named Karol Wojtyla, who would go on to become Pope John Paul II) to study whether birth control could be incorporated into the church doctrine. But surprise, surprise: the commission recommended to Pope Paul VI, who had taken over in 1963 and expanded the commission to 58 members, that the ban on contraceptives be lifted. The findings were leaked in 1967, making it all the more heartbreaking for Catholics who wanted contraceptives when Paul rejected the findings in a 1968 paper called Humane Vitale. In the 40 years since, it’s believed that up to 98 percent of American Catholics have used artificial birth control at some point in their lifetimes.

pope pius 300x300

Pope Pius XII and Holocaust, 1940s

The Catholic Church’s relationship with Jews has always been tumultuous—it wasn’t until 1965 that the Vatican rejected the notion that Jews were responsible for the death of Christ, and the Vatican didn’t recognize Israel until 1993. Pope Pius XII, who reigned from 1939 to 1958, has long been known as “Hitler’s pope” for not doing enough to stop the Holocaust—especially since he served as No. 2 to the previous pope and before that as special envoy to Germany. At Israel’s national Holocaust Museum, a wall panel criticizes Pius’s conduct during the war, although it was updated in 2012 to include instances when the church’s “neutrality” saved lives. Fair assessment? The Vatican insists Pius used quiet diplomacy, and that if he had spoken out publicly, there could have been more deaths. And in a book published in February 2013, British historian Gordon Thomas claims Pius gave his blessing for the establishment of safe houses in Vatican City, and that he instructed priests to conduct a secret operation to hide Jews.

Secret Papers Published, 1869-70

It turns out VatiLeaks isn’t the only time secret papal papers have been leaked. At the First Vatican Council in 1869—convened by Pope Pius IX to deal with the creeping influence of rationalism, liberalism, and materialism—the church introduced what would later become one of its most important teachings: that the pope is infallible. But apparently the papal security is not so infallible: secret papers from the council ended up published in German newspapers.

Church Denies Galileo and Science in General, 1600s-1992

For those who despair over the Catholic Church’s opinion on birth control, there is historical precedent for reversing science—and even apologizing centuries later. Take Galileo Galilei, the 16th-century scientist who declared that Earth is a planet in the solar system and orbits around the sun. This, of course, went against church teachings at the time, which saw Earth as the center of God’s universe. When Galileo published his findings, the church banned the book, ordered him to appear before the Inquisition in Rome, and threatened him with torture. It doesn’t take a Zero Dark Thirty fan to guess what happened next: Galileo, age 68 and sick, publicly recanted his findings. Unfortunately, he didn’t live until 1822, when the Church finally lifted its ban on his book. (He made it until 1642). The Vatican in the 1960s endorsed Galileo’s findings, and in 1992, Pope John Paul II apologized for the actions taken against Galileo.

Pope Leo X and Indulgences, 1513-1521

Who wouldn’t want to buff up those church coffers? After all, St. Peter’s Basilica is pretty and not going to fix itself—and Johann Tetzel’s expression “as soon as the coin from the coffer rings, the soul from Purgatory springs” is very catchy. That seemed to be Pope Leo X’s reasoning in the early 1500s when he not only allowed but actively encouraged Catholics to pay for their sins to be forgiven. But fear not, he was not totally devoid of scruples: he put heftier price tags on sins such as murder and incest. The whole scandal did not exactly blow over, as one outraged monk named Martin Luther announced his displeasure with the practice in document called the Ninety-Five Theses. The rest, of course, is Protestant history.

Pope Julius 772515

Pope Julius II Charged With Lewd Sex Acts, 1511

Even the whole indulgence thing was a step up from Leo’s predecessor, Pope Julius II. To start, Julius issued the dispensation that allowed Henry VIII to marry Catherine of Aragon, despite that she had briefly been married before. Clearly not a fan of the church’s celibacy oath, Julius also fathered at least one illegitimate daughter and had severalmistresses. In 1511, the church brought charges of lewd sex acts against him, calling him a “sodomite covered with shameful ulcers.” He was known to spend most of time with small boys and male prostitutes, and he was the first known pope to contract syphilis. On Good Friday in 1508, he was apparently so ill with syphilitic sores that he couldn’t even deliver Mass. But his legacy is not all bad: a great patron of the arts, Julius laid the foundation stone for a new St. Peter’s Basilica, was a friend to several great artists of the time, and even commissioned Michelangelo to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, although Julius did force the artist to finish before he was ready.

Alexander VI, the Worst Pope Ever, 1492-1503

It’s such a dubious honor, but historians generally agree that Pope Alexander VI was the worst pope ever. A member of the notorious Borgia family, Alexander was famous for throwing orgies, including one rager in 1501 called the “Joust of the Whores,” in which 50 medieval-era strippers undressed around the pope’s table. Alexander and his family then threw chestnuts on the floor for the women to fight over—and the man who had sex with the most women would collect jewels and fine clothes. That’s not all. Clearly also not a fan of celibacy, Alexander had six sons and three daughters by various women, although he did give them some fairly decent jobs in the church. He died from a poisoned apple, likely coming from his pathological son.

Innocent VIII and the Golden Age of Bastards, 1484-92

Alexander VI (his tomb pictured here) must have been trying to live up to predecessor, Innocent VIII, who reigned over the “Golden Age of Bastards.” Innocent like to brag about his own “bastards,” having publicly acknowledged eight illegitimate sons (although many more were suspected). But he wasn’t just having sex with women—he also was firm believer that witchcraft existed and expanded the church’s crusade against witches in 1484.

2106e

Sixtus IV Has Child With His Sister, 1470s

Think about this the next time you visit the Sistine Chapel: it was commissioned by Sixtus IV, who had six illegitimate children—including one that was the result of an incestuous affair with his sister. He also collected a tax on church prostitutes and charged priests for keeping mistresses—although historians say this only increased the prevalence of homosexuality in the church.

Pope John XII Allegedly Murders Men, Turns Papal Palace into Whorehouse and More, 955-64

Maybe Alexander VI should be offended that Pope John XII holds the title of worst pope ever.  Not only was John XII considered lazy and childish, he has also been accused of invoking demons, murdering and mutilating men, and was an arsonist and gambler. His reign as pope did not last long, as he died in his early 20s, allegedly in bed with a married woman. Oh right: he has also has been accused of turning the papal palace into a “whorehouse” with adulterous acts, including with his own niece and his father’s long-term girlfriend.

Pope Stephen VI Tries His Dead Predecessor, 896-97

Well at least it’s a scandal that is not about sex, right? Pope Stephen VI apparently wanted revenge against his predecessor, Pope Formosus—despite that Formosus had already died, so it would appear that Stephen had won whatever battle there was between the two of them. Stephen had Formosus’s nine-month-old corpse dug up, and then dressed up the cadaver and put it on trial. Perhaps unsurprising at this point, Formosus’s rule was declared invalid—and as extra revenge, Stephen had the three fingers that had been used to issue blessings chopped off. But history got the last laugh on Stephen: a deadly earthquake shortly afterward was taken as a sign from God, and rioters arrested him and threw him in a dungeon, where he was later found strangled to death.

Pope Joan, the First Woman Pope, Est. 800

No, this is not the plot of a Louise Erdrich novel . There is a mythical tale of a woman known as Pope Joan, who in the 9th century disguised herself as a man and served as pontiff for two years. Although the Catholic Church dismisses it, there are an estimated 500 chronicles of her existence. Believed to have been born in Mainz, Germany, Pope Joan was allegedly led to Athens “dressed in clothes of a man by a certain lover of hers.” From there, she is believed to have made her way to Rome, where she became a cardinal and then eventually a pope. So how was her secret discovered? According to legend, she went into labor two-and-half years into her papacy. That’s where the story becomes less clear—some say she and the baby were killed on the spot (likely) or that she was sent to a convent and her son grew up to be bishop of Ostia (very unlikely, but so romantic).

Gasp! A Black Pope, 189-199

In days before most popes were Italian, second-century Pope Victor I hailed from North Africa, and he certainly made an impact on the church: he was the one who changed the language of Mass from Greek to Latin, although Latin Masses did not catch on until the fourth century. Victor has since been canonized, with his feast day on July 28.

Privacy-Shattering CISPA Internet Bill Passes House Amid Boston Frenzy

Amid the massive amount of information coming out on the Boston Marathon bombings, the ultra-invasive Cybersecurity Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) has passed the House with a vote of 288-127.

Even mainstream media outlets like Yahoo News have highlighted the many threats posed by CISPA, which essentially erodes the Fourth Amendment under the guise of fighting shadow ‘hackers’ without the need for any type of warrant. Under CISPA, private companies would be able to share your data in real time with the United States government and even other corporations — all without a warrant. It’s all very similar to the DHS ‘border’ zones that revoke the Fourth Amendment within 100 miles of the United States national border.

It’s any major corporation’s wet dream to mine user’s data in such a way, and the best part for them is that they cannot be legally held accountable for sharing your information under CISPA guidelines.

While CISPA still needs to go through the Senate and get signed off on by Obama, the fact that 288 votes were mustered within the House in support of legislation that overrides the Constitution is concerning enough.

Major industry titans have spoken out against CISPA, including Congressmen, the founder of top community news website Reddit, and many others. In fact, Congressman Jared Polis says that it is the largest government takeover of personal information he has seen in a long time. The representative from Colorado stated:

“This is the biggest government takeover of personal information that I’ve seen during my time here in Congress.”

Former owner of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, had similar statements. Ohanian has been urging everyone from Google CEO Larry Page to the average tech employee to take a stand against CISPA. He is joined by major organizations like Access, EFF, and others. In the words of Ohanian:

“If someone wants access to our private home or to our mail we would say, Well go get a warrant. Right? CISPA basically says, uh, not necessary. Your digital privacy is irrelevant.”

CISPA is not only intrusive itself, but also paves the way for more ‘cybersecurity’ bills to strip away basic constitutional rights and remove anonymity from the internet altogether. As a cherry on top for big business, it allows for companies like Facebook and Google to lawfully gather all of our personal information and share it as they please. After all, they can’t be pursued legally for it under CISPA.

It should come as no surprise that CISPA was passed without much repercussion due to the Boston Marathon bombings, as in the past we have seen a multitude of freedom-shattering bills like the Patriot Act pass through during holidays or similar distractions.

US Turns Away 1000’s of Cancer Patients, but has $123 Million for Terrorists in Syria

Tony Cartalucci
Land Destroyer

The US has announced that it will provide militants in Syria, now openly admitted to being Al Qaeda terrorists, with $123 million in military aid – while thousands of cancer patients at home are being turned away from clinics because of budget cuts. Compounding the the criminal negligence of telling sick people to seek help elsewhere, is the fact that the military aid the US is providing terrorists in Syria will be used to perpetuate an already 2 year long, sectarian-driven humanitarian disaster.

RT recently reported in their article, “US to give $123 million military aid package to Syrian rebels,” that:

The US$123 million defense aid package, announced by Kerry at the meeting in the Turkish capital on Sunday, includes body armor, armored vehicles, advanced communication equipment and night vision goggles.

In an April 3, 2013 Washington Post article titled, “Cancer clinics are turning away thousands of Medicare patients. Blame the sequester,” it was reported:

Cancer clinics across the country have begun turning away thousands of Medicare patients, blaming the sequester budget cuts.

Oncologists say the reduced funding, which took effect for Medicare on April 1, makes it impossible to administer expensive chemotherapy drugs while staying afloat financially.

When one considers that the conflict in Syria was premeditated by the US, Saudi Arabia, and Israel, as early as 2007, simply to overthrow the Syrian government and weaken neighboring Iran, the mind-numbing criminality of America’s current foreign and domestic policy becomes even more obscene.

It was reported by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh in his 2007 New Yorker article, “The Redirection: Is the Administration’s new policy benefiting our enemies in the war on terrorism?” that:

To undermine Iran, which is predominantly Shiite, the Bush Administration has decided, in effect, to reconfigure its priorities in the Middle East. In Lebanon, the Administration has coöperated with Saudi Arabia’s government, which is Sunni, in clandestine operations that are intended to weaken Hezbollah, the Shiite organization that is backed by Iran. The U.S. has also taken part in clandestine operations aimed at Iran and its ally Syria. A by-product of these activities has been the bolstering of Sunni extremist groups that espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to America and sympathetic to Al Qaeda.

Now clearly, while the West attempts to feign ignorance over the inception and rapid expansion of Al Qaeda in Syria, these 2007 plans are coming into fruition. It was revealed by the London Telegraph and the Washington Post that even “non-lethal” aid provided by the United States, including flour, was being used as a political weapon by Al Qaeda’s al-Nusra front in Syria to win over support in territory it invades and occupies.

When pursing a destructive war of geopolitical hegemony abroad takes precedence over the health and well being of a nation’s citizens at home, the government taking such a posture has lost all legitimacy. The people of America will continue to watch their nation rot out from beneath them as long as they continue investing their money, time, energy, and attention into an establishment clearly divorced from the interests of the vast majority. Instead, the special interests exploiting America should be identified, condemned, boycotted permanently, and replaced by local alternatives – thus stealing from beneath them both their source of power, and their capacity to continue forward.

FBI Raids Blogger Over Obama Ineligibility Evidence

Our friend and diligent researcher and the person responsible for exposing several of  Obama’s fraudulent activities  in several venues was interviewed, hand-cuffed and had his property removed by the FBI. Al Hendershot  found Obama’s alias of  Harrison J. Bounel, Obama’s non-payment of taxes on a home in Chicago that he does not own, and the  Obama’s use of multiple social security numbers.   In addition, he has worked with Jerome Corsi and the Cold Case Posse on the ineligibility issue related to the Usurper.

His work must be making the Obama administration very worried that they would send in the FBI to confiscate his computer and the information that he has accumulated.

This is just another example of the police state that Obama and his regime are putting in place and using to keep  those involved in exposing Obama for being a con man who has usurped the presidency of the United States and  who  sits  in the our White House and presides over our nation illegally.

We are behind you Al in all that you have done and will continue to do!     They want us to fear them, and deter those who are law-abiding citizens who want the rule of  law to prevail in the United States.     Anyone who opposes this regime and really anyone  on the Right who believes in God,  capitalism, liberty and freedom  is considered their enemy.    Their tactics are reminiscent of another dictator who was famous during WWII.    Those people believed in false promises and lies,  and look at what happened to millions.   We will not let it happen in our country.

God Bless America and all of  the patriots who are fighting for our country.  We  Constitutionalists also referred to as “birthers” are a determined lot and there are millions of us!  We do have RESOLVE!

ORYR Reports  April 17, 2013:

Al Hendershot posted the following on the ORYR Facebook wall a few days ago:  [now scrubbed]

4 days ago the FBI took my computer and I got it back yesterday. They said that they were investigating the Exposed website, but I think that there was some more stuff that they were looking for because they said that I was not in any trouble for what I was reporting on for my blog… […]

Today Al provided a statement and the related FBI documentation:

On April 10, 2013 the FBI showed up at my front door. When I answered the door they told me who they were and that they wanted to speak to me about activities with / about the exposed website that was posting information about Muller, Holder, and Obama.

http://web.archive.org/web/20130314220223/http://exposed.su

Well, obviously, I have nothing to hide so I gave them my computer. I was also handcuffed while they were talking to me.

Two days later I get a phone call from the FBI telling me that I am not in trouble,  and that I have nothing to worry about in connection to my activities with others and what I am writing about in my bloghttp://www.theobamahustle.wordpress.com.

On the 12th,  I go by the FBI office with a witness, just in case, to pick up my property and again they tell me, “that I am not in trouble and that I have nothing to worry about in connection to my activities with others and what I am writing about in my blog.”

When they were at my house they, the FBI,  secured my personal information as well such as my SSN and other personal information. I have no doubt they investigated me out thoroughly and also investigated at what my activities have been in connection to the Obama fraud evidence and others as well.

Later on in the day,  I received some phone calls from people that I have been working with on the Obama issue. They, the people that I spoke with said that my activities with the “Cold Case Posse” and my postings on Obama in The Obama Hustle along with the evidence that I have collected on him and his family probably had something to do with my visit from the FBI.

I have not heard of any others being visited by the Feds as it pertains to the exposed website.  In my discussions on Friday we came to the conclusion that this is very interesting in that there must be some people that are worried over what information might be available against the anointed and protected one from his lies being exposed.

I will not be deterred. I will not be harassed. I am not afraid. I will give my life for my country and for what I believe in. “FREEDOM”.

We are in a fight for our nation from an individual and others who want to destroy the United States of America and transform this great nation into a melting pot and Socialistic paradise for radicals and illegal aliens so they can stay in power.

GOD Bless America and those patriots in this fight against the evil ones that want to enslave us, kill GOD, and kill our babies.

Waco and 20 Years of State Terror

There is something about April. From Columbine to Virginia Tech, from Oklahoma City to Boston, mid-to-late April occasions some of the most infamous massacres on U.S. soil. At least, these are the ones we are told to focus on. The killers are called terrorists. Unless they wear uniforms, as they did on April 19, 1993, just outside Waco, Texas. That time, as we are urged to believe, the terrorists were the ones who died. In all these massacres, regardless of specifics, the government portrays itself as all that keeps chaos at bay.

The state claims to stand against terrorism, but killing people is its stock in trade. Slaughters come in various forms, almost all of which feed the health of the state. The state conducts much killing outright. The state officially poses against other killing, while nevertheless encouraging it through its own violence. Even the killing that the state has no hand in serves as a pretext for the state to grow.

In Boston this Monday, someone left bombs that murdered three people, including an eight-year-old boy, and injured 176 others. President Obama called the crime an “act of terrorism.” The establishment definition of “terrorism” was always flawed, in that it categorically absolved the government, but at least it specified the targeting of civilians for political goals. Yet these days, even before the motive is known, such as at Boston, or when the targets are not civilians, such as American soldiers abroad, the U.S. government calls any dramatic acts of violence of which it disapproves “terrorism.”

This February, they called ex-cop Chris Dorner a terrorist. Then the police surrounded him in a cabin to burn him alive, asking the media to cover its eyes like at Waco. Everyone who knew how the state operates had no reason to expect he would get due process. They were going to hunt him down and kill him no matter what. The media dropped the formality of calling him an “alleged” murderer. The LAPD tried and convicted and executed him all on the same day and no one batted an eye. Meanwhile, liberals say all talk of American tyranny is irresponsible and conservatives continue to worship law enforcement.

Today, violent resistance to the state is called terrorism. Many of the “terrorists” rounded up and imprisoned at Guantánamo Bay were at most guilty of defending their country against an invading army. Some of these people continue to languish in that dungeon, seeing their desperate hunger strike in protest of declining conditions go unanswered, except by an administration willing to cut off their water.

From February 28 to April 19, 1993, the Branch Davidians resisted. On the morning of February 28, about one hundred ATF agents, concealed in livestock trailers, descended upon their property. The agents had planned and trained for eight months, having practiced their histrionic assault on model buildings. There was no reason for all this other than publicity. The agents could have easily arrested Koresh, whom they had befriended. The agents had conducted an investigation of weapons violations and found nothing. Koresh had cooperated with them. 60 Minutes had recently focused on an ATF sexual harassment scandal, and the agency was accused of racial discrimination during a House subcommittee meeting. The bureau wanted to improve its public image. Officials reached out to the press to make sure reporters could witness their heroics on the last February morning of 1993.

Unlike the vast majority of the hundreds of daily domestic militarized raids in America, the ATF’s surprise raid “Operation Showtime” faced resistance. When the agents ran out of ammo, the Davidians ceased fire. There were casualties on both sides, although one anonymous agent told the Dallas Morning News that he suspected some agents had fallen from friendly fire. Once the raid became a clear disaster, the ATF forced the press away.

Then came the standoff. The FBI took over and turned it into a full-blown military operation on American soil. Psychological warfare came down hard on Koresh’s followers. The FBI blared loud, obnoxious music, and sounds of animal slaughter, while shining blinding lights through the night. Agents gratuitously drove a vehicle to defile a Davidian grave. The government cut off this group’s access to family, media, and lawyers. It destroyed their water supply.

The media demonized the Davidians as a heavily armed cult that abused its children. Journalists tended to report government claims as fact. But they became increasingly critical of the ATF and FBI as well. After weeks of looking like fools in the mainstream press, particularly after a critical exposé in the New York Times on March 28 revealed the initial raid’s bad planning and recklessness, government officials became increasingly hostile to the media. On April 11, ATF intelligence chief David Troy stopped holding his regular press conferences altogether.

Attorney General Janet Reno, who took office in the middle of the standoff, finally decided to put an end to it. At about 6AM on April 19, the FBI began pumping flammable and poisonous CS gas, banned in international warfare, into the Davidian home. Officials knew that women and children were holed up in the section of the home exposed to this gas. The government continued to deploy gas for almost six hours.

Chemistry professor George F. Uhlig testified in congressional hearings that he estimated there was a sixty percent chance that the gassing alone killed some children. “Turning loose excessive quantities of CS definitely was not in the best interests of the children,” Uhlig said. “Gas masks do not fit children very well, if at all.” He intoned that the gassing could have transformed their surroundings “into an area similar to one of the gas chambers used by the Nazis at Auschwitz.”

The FBI brought out an Abrams tank, the Army’s heaviest armored vehicle, to replace its Bradley fighting vehicles. Agents drove the tank, which Attorney General Janet Reno later obscenely compared to “a good rent-a-car,” into the building. FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi, who had shot and killed Vicki Weaver in August 1992 at Ruby Ridge as she held her infant in her arms, was at the scene. FBI agents launched incendiary tear gas canisters. Justice Department spokesman Myron Marlin later declared, “We know of no evidence to support that any incendiary device was fired into the compound on April 19, 1993.” The FBI finally admitted six years later it had indeed used such projectiles at Waco.

The Davidian home went up in flames in the early afternoon. More than seventy people died, all of them civilian targets, many of them Americans, others hailing from other countries, more than twenty of them children and close to half of them people of color, although somehow the Davidians are often smeared, along with the so-called militia movement, as white supremacists. As the fire raged, the FBI turned back the local fire department. Special agent Jeffrey Jamar claimed that he feared for firefighters’ safety—presumably, the Davidians might shoot at the very people trying to stop the fire that was burning them to death. When it was all over, the ATF hoisted its flag atop the conquered ruins.

The trial of the survivors was a sham. Confused jurors intended to convict survivors of weapons offenses but not murder charges. The judge sided with the prosecution and defied the jurors’ intentions. By 1999, polling indicated that a strong majority of Americans blamed the FBI for setting the fire. Special counsel John Danforth, a Republican, released a report the next year whitewashing the Clinton administration of all guilt in this atrocity.

After Sandy Hook, liberals regurgitated every tired gun control argument, but one of the most interesting is that an armed populace fails as a break on tyranny because the government has the military hardware to win any confrontation. And indeed it’s true: most who resist government are swatted down like bugs. Some resist violently, like the Lakota Indians at Wounded Knee in December 1890, and are slaughtered. Others are shot for daring to resist even by throwing rocks at armed troops, like the four students murdered and the nine wounded at Kent State in May 1970. Others are targeted after a few years of relative calm, like the Philadelphia MOVE radicals in May 1985. Liberals are correct that the government has the means and the willingness to crush Americans who dare to resist. This fact never seems to convince liberals that the state is way too powerful and menacing to begin with, and maybe the last thing we should want is to give it more law enforcement powers, such as the monopolization of firearms through a war on guns.

About once a day police kill an American, but it’s often a criminal and no one cares, or at least a marginalized person like the homeless Kelly Thomas, beaten in July 2011 by five officers in Southern California, dying of complications five days later. Or they are veterans like Jose Guerena, at whom Tuscon police fired 71 rounds in the middle of the night in May 2011 – innocent of any crime, just in his own house at the wrong time. The state saves most of its killing for abroad, where killing is its very policy. And now, thanks to the war on terror, Obama calls America his battlefield and the world his jurisdiction. He has made it official doctrine that the president can order anyone’s death unilaterally.

Twenty years ago, Waco showed Americans the truth about law enforcement, the U.S. government, and the state itself. It revealed what reality was like for foreigners overseas. Yet most Americans seem totally indifferent to the mass murder the U.S. government has perpetrated and unleashed in the Middle East. On the day three were murdered in Boston, seventy-five died in Iraq. Violence in Iraq nine years ago was called terrorism, unless it was committed by U.S. troops. Today, violence in Iraq hardly makes the news. The state decides whose lives are worth caring about, and when.

Some critics of state violence dislike the very word “terrorism,” calling it meaningless, but I disagree. The state perverts most words it uses, but these words can still hold value. Terrorism refers to violence intentionally inflicted on the innocent to instill fear and advance political goals. American officials commit terrorism all the time. In the twenty years since Waco, state terrorism has escalated, from the anti-civilian sanctions on Iraq to the double-tap drone attacks on foreign first responders, all the way down to the constant domestic police raids. Even the more pedestrian police measures such as the systematic groping of New York City residents known as “stop and frisk” are there to “instill fear,” as police commissioner Raymond Kelly boasted was the intention, according to former NYPD captain Eric Adams’s testimony. From top to bottom, at home and abroad, the post-Waco American state seems intent on instilling fear in all of us.

Every April since 2003, I’ve written a piece about Waco. I think Americans should never forget what happened. LRC published most of these articles. They each have a little bit of something different and discuss contemporary events. I also wrote my undergraduate thesis on Waco and the relationship between the media and the police state. Here are my archives for those interested:

Waco, twenty years later: what state power is all about

I might take a break from revisiting Waco next April, not because I’ve forgotten the victims – I never will – but simply because I feel like I’ve done enough writing about this particular atrocity for a little while, given that the state has raged on in so many directions, making Branch Davidians out of so many foreigners and Americans caught on the wrong side of the U.S. government’s never-ending siege of the world. Many Davidians died and others suffered injustice at trial, but tragically these victims are not so unusual. There are also the many thousands slaughtered abroad in the last 20 years. There are the thousands shot by law enforcement since then. There is Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, the sixteen-year-old from Denver whom Obama snuffed out with a drone, whose death was justified on the grounds that he had a bad father. Before the rapid rise of the surveillance state and the post-9/11 terror war, Waco was the best opportunity to turn things around. Instead, most Americans turned their backs and now our country is becoming one big playground for the police state.

We might call the situation David Koresh’s revenge.

Boston Black Ops: Manufacturing Terror

Stephen Lendman
War is a Crime.org

Mounting evidence suggests state-sponsored terrorism. Expect more later to confirm it. Cui bono matters most. Powerful interests benefit hugely. Ordinary people lose out.

War on terror 2.0 looms. Innocent people will suffer. Expect more repressive laws. Military spending will increase. Homeland security will be boosted. Fundamental freedoms will die. Full-blown tyranny may follow. It’s already a hair’s breath away.

Imperial wars on humanity will continue. New targets will be chosen. Independent governments will be attacked. New world order rules demand unchallenged global dominance. The worst of all possible outcomes may follow. State-sponsored terror facilitates it.

What’s ongoing resembles post-9/11 events. Media scoundrels misreport. They do so round-the-clock. Readers and viewers are willfully misinformed.

Fear-mongering, lies and damn lies replace truth and full disclosure. Muslims became public enemy number one. Who’ll suffer most with them this time?

Vital information is suppressed. Fingers point the wrong way. Innocent victims are blamed for state-sponsored terror. More on that below.

National emotions are aroused. At issue is enlisting public support. Post-9/11, Bush addressed an Episcopal National Cathedral prayer and remembrance ceremony.

“(O)ur country was attacked with deliberate and massive cruelty,” he said. “We have seen the images of fire and ashes and bent steel.”

He omitted what’s most important. Washington bore full responsibility. The worst of all possible worlds followed.

On April 18, Obama addressed a Holy Cross Cathedral interfaith prayer service. “(I)n an instant, the day’s beauty was shattered,” he said. “A celebration became a tragedy. And so we come together to pray and mourn and measure our loss.”

“We will find you,” he added. “And yes, you will face justice. We will hold you accountable.” Truth and full disclosure always loses out.

Early Friday, newly released FBI photos showed alleged bombing suspects. They’re brothers. They were called “armed and extremely dangerous.” Allegedly they had “explosives and guns.” Official reports lack credibility.

One suspect was arrested. The other fled. He’s now in hospitalized in serious condition. Police discovered his whereabouts and shot him. Officials later said the one taken into custody died. Allegedly he was killed in a “violent standoff.” Cold-blooded murder is more likely.

A “massive manhunt” continues. Officials said suspects came from Chechnya or nearby. Doing so implies Islamofascists. MSNBC’s Chris Matthews alleged they’re Arabs. Perhaps from Yemen, he said. Media scoundrels feature this type misreporting ad nauseam.

Mossad-connected DEBKAfile called them “Chechen Wahhabi cell” members. Saudi Arabia funds it, it said. Older brother Tamerlan was 26. Police likely killed him in cold blood. He was a boxer and Bunker Hill Community College engineering student.

Younger brother Dzhokhar fled. He’s 19 years old. He’s a Cambridge Rindge and Latin School graduate. His father calls him a “true angel.” He’s a Greater Boston League all-star wrestler.

He won a city of Cambridge $2,500 scholarship. He’s a second year medical student. His father said both brothers were “set up.” They “killed my older son Tamerlan,” he added.

Over 10 years ago, both brothers came to America with their family. They’re not terrorists.

Officials said greater Boston public transportation shut down. The FAA ordered a no-fly zone over a 3.5 radius of the bombing site. Watertown, Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, Waltham, Belmont, and other suburban area residents were advised to stay home.

Colleges and universities closed for the day. Local businesses were told not to open. Thousands of officers made house-to-house searches. Swat teams are involved. Some areas were evacuated. Helicopters patrol overhead. Police cars are everywhere.

Greater Boston’s never seen anything like this before. It’s surreal. It resembles a bad film plot. It gets round-the-clock coverage. Managed news misinformation substitutes for cold hard facts.

Infowars headlined “Did Boston Bombing Suspect Try to Surrender?” An image showed him lying prone with his arms outstretched. He held no weapon. None appeared near him.

One suspect killed. Perhaps another to follow. What better way to bury truth. Dead men tell no tales. Exculpating evidence perhaps won’t surface. Media scoundrels won’t report what does.

Lots more went on. On marathon day, eyewitnesses reported bomb drills, training exercises and rooftop snipers. Authorities denied them.

University of Mobile cross country coach Alastair Stevenson contradicted them, saying:

“At the starting line this morning, they had bomb sniffing dogs and the bomb squad out there. They kept announcing to runners not to be alarmed, that they were running a training exercise.”

On April 17, Anthony Gucciardi headlined “Craft International Private Military Forces at Boston Marathon?”

Images showed two men “with earpieces and military-esque gear….(T)hey may likely be employees of the Blackwater-style private military/security firm Craft International.”

Their attire was later “revealed to be standard issue Craft International clothing.” The skull logo on one man’s cap identifies Craft.

Why were both men and others with them in Boston? Images show around 10 wearing similar attire. Nearly all had on black backpacks. They resembled those alleged to contain pressure cooker bombs.

Investigators said they contained explosives, nails and ball bearings. They detonated moments apart.

Four or more Craft operatives wore tan combat boots, tan BDUs (battle dress uniforms), black jackets, and had tactical communications gear. At least one had an “inspector radiation alert.” It’s used to detect dirty bomb or nuclear attack emissions.

Why were they near the marathon’s finish line? Perhaps their mission was a black ops. They’re experts in these type operations.

Why did FBI operatives join them? Images show them talking. An FBI truck was visible. Why were FBI agents searching for one bombing suspect before the incident took place?

Why have media scoundrels ignored this? These and related questions demand answers. Coverup and denial reflect official policy. Vital facts are suppressed. What’s most important isn’t reported. Misinformation substitutes.

Universal Music Group: Illuminati Connections

Today more so than ever, music artists are exposing the industry. Countless artists from each genre are helping to lift the veil that have been blinding the masses since the industries inauguration. Many have shown that they’re pushing the agenda of the global elite and have sold themselves out for money and fame. The mainstream music industry has long been used as a form of mind control, attempting to shape the humans perception of reality and feed them their wants, desires and needs coupled with subliminal messaging that becomes implanted in the subconscious mind. It’s one portion of the global control matrix that programs the human mind and contributes in preventing the human being from knowing it’s natural state and true self. It’s a branch of the entire “military industrial complex.” This article will examine connections that go beyond the artists and make you think.

Who are the artists working for? Who owns the mainstream music industry? Who’s pushing the agenda and where did the mainstream music industry come from? Royal bloodlines have always used mechanisms for control. The only difference today is that more tools for control have been developed. The mainstream music industry is controlled by a small group of entities. The largest and first developed  is the Universal Music Group.

Universal Music Group (UMG) is a multinational music company. It’s the largest of the “Big Three” record companies which include Sony Music Entertainment and Warner music group. UMG was originally the company attached to the film studio Universal Pictures. However, it’s origins go back to the formation of  Decca Records. Decca Records originates in England, which is one of the main control hubs of the Illuminati. The Decca corporation of England created their American branch in 1939. Decca Records was renowned for it’s development of recording methods, Decca and UMG are now owned by General Motors and Comcast, and originally owned by Vivendi, a media conglomerate headquartered in France which we will examine later on in this article. Decca referred to themselves as “The Supreme Record Company.” It was formed by merging the word “mecca” with the initial D of their logo, meaning a place that draws a lot of people. When the Decca branch in America was developed, they set up their studio headquarters in the Pythian Temple located in New York City. Why would Decca/UMG set up their headquarters at the Pythian Temple? UMG has it’s roots in the Illuminati, at a specific level of the pyramid. Music was to be used strictly for control purposes. As we see today, most forms of human art and creation are now being used as tools of manipulation and deception. The Pythian Temple is a building that belonged to the Knights of Pythias at the time Decca/UMG set up their studio there. The Knights of Pythias is a fraternal organization and secret society founded and  formed in February of 1864, in Washington, DC. They were the very first fraternal organization to receive a charter under an act of the United States Congress. It was founded by Justus H. Rathbone, whom not surprisingly was a music composer and actor.  Some notable Pythian Knights include:

  •  Nelson A. Rockefeller, U.S. Vice President
  •  Warren G. Harding, U.S President
  • William McKinley, U.S President
  • Franklin D. Roosevelt, U.S. President
  • Hugo Black, U.S. Supreme Court Justice
  • Benjamin Cardozo, U.S. Supreme Court Justice
  • Louis Armstrong, Jazz Musician, actor
  • Sun Ra, Jazz Musician
  • Hubert Horatio Humphrey, U.S. Vice President

Can you see the connection? Universal Music Group (UMG) originated within Decca Records. Decca Records originates in the United Kingdom, and expanded to America which began the inauguration of the UMG. The studio was headquartered at the Pythian Temple at the time, home of the Pythian Knights. Interesting connection that sheds light on a recent brief history of UMG’s major music label.

Given this brief history of UMG, let’s transition into the modern day and look at who and what entity is in control now. Vivendi SA (formerly known as Vivendi Universal) is a French multinational mass media and telecommunication company located in Paris, France. They were  sole owners of UMG/Decca until 2004.  Vivendi SA was originally Compagnie Generale des Eaux (CGE), and was created by an Imperial decree of Napoleon III in 1854. CGE was created in sole purposes of controlling the water supply. At the same time, the Rothschild family was heavily involved as both had plans to ‘take’ over  the Americas. They were in constant discussion and dialogue with regards to their plans. CGE has also broken off into Veolia Enviornnement S.A. and is now a major multinational company with activities in water supply, water management, waste management and energy. As you can see, the music industry has some pretty interesting origins and connections by being connected to other industries that regulate the human race and it’s activity on planet Earth.

In 2004, General Electric purchased 80 percent of Universal Pictures from Vivendi, and Vivendi bought 20 percent of NBC forming the company NBC Universal, who is controlled by Comcast and General Electric.  Now, Comcast and GE both own half. So who owns this major music label now? GM and Comcast. Banker JP Morgan and family funded Thomas Edison’s Electric Illuminating company were responsible for the merger between the Illuminating company and General Electric (GE).When Nikola Tesla discovered how to access zero point energy, his lab was burned down and funding stopped. Today, it’s well known that the Rockefeller name is associated with General Electric. General Electric also owns a large part of our mainstream media. The GE headquarters in New York is the focal point of the entire Rockefeller Center Complex. If you scroll back up to the some of the notable Pythian Knights, you will also see a Rockefeller connection. It’s pretty crazy to see that the music business is a part of this global connection, the ones who control the worlds resources are also active in General Electric, which owns NBC Universal, which owns Universal Music Group. When it comes to music videos, television and music artists, the ones at the very top are the same ones heavily involved with General Electric. The Illuminati have disguised themselves as a number of multinational corporations, but the leeds always lead to the same families, it’s all about controlling the human population, and not having them know it.

Please feel free to do your own research to verify anything you think is untrue in this article.

TENNESSEE FIRST TO ESTABLISH BALANCE OF POWERS COMMITTEE

J.B. Williams
News With Views

The United States Patriots Union and The North American Law Center (NALC) have been working since the 2011 state legislative sessions to enact a broad-based State’s Rights bill titled The Balance of Powers Act. The model legislation has been introduced in numerous states in 2011, 2012 and 2013, passing nowhere until last week, where Tennessee became the first state to establish a Balance of Powers Committee in the state legislature.

Due to massive daily overreaches and abuses of federal authority over numerous federal administrations, none more egregious than the anti-American Obama administration, and congressional republicans totally missing in action as it relates to their primary job of keeping the executive branch in constitutional check, it has become necessary for the people, via their states, to enforce the Constitution and Bill of Rights from the state level.

The Tennessee State Legislature will soon begin reviewing and dealing with federal abuses of power from the newly formed Balance of Powers Committee. The people must support these brave representatives of the people, as they take a firm constitutional stand for the people.

Before the people are forced to fight in the streets to defend their natural rights, protected by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, State governments simply must stand up to an abusive federal government on behalf of the people, via peaceful legitimate governmental processes.

Brave Tennessee legislators have now done exactly that… In a letter dated March 26, 2013, from Rep. Judd Matheny and Senator Mike Bell to Lt. Governor Ramsey and House Speaker Harwell, Matheny and Bell made a winning argument for the Tennessee Balance of Powers Committee.

A general introduction to the Balance of Powers Act is posted on the NALC web site. But in short, the model state legislation provides for the following –

It says that powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to our State, are reserved to the State, or to the people respectively.
It affirms that the primary function of State Government under the Tenth Amendment is to protect the people of our State from any and all infringements upon constitutionally protected rights, as established by our State Constitution.

Tennessee State Capitol 20091 300x300

State Representative Judd Matheny led the effort to establish a State Balance of Powers Committee in Tennessee with his HB0970, co-sponsored in the Senate by veteran Senator Mae Beavers. Matheny is a veteran state legislator with both military and law enforcement experience on his resume, before becoming a conservative leader in the Tennessee State legislature.

State Representative John Ragan had been working on passing the bill since 2011. False constitutional advice from legal beagles in legislative services were trying to block the legislation based entirely upon text from the US Constitution, the Tennessee Constitution and the Bill of Rights on the basis that states’ rights are somehow “unconstitutional.”

We have seen this in state after state, both sides of the aisle. In Michigan, Republican Speaker of the House Jase Bolger issued a typical opposition paper to the states’ rights model. Typical in that it was based upon false premises and was copied and pasted from anti-states’ rights publications from inside the DC beltway firms Heritage Foundation and Wall Builders.

According to these so-called “experts,” the only mechanism available to the states and the people when the federal government becomes abusive, is to elect different representatives or wait for the US Supreme Court (a branch of federal government) to tell us what rights we do or do not have…

It’s utter hogwash on its face. However, working through ALEC, a national organization which influences state republican legislators, taking their cues from Heritage Foundation and Wall builders, legislative services lawyers are misleading state legislators on the matter of Federal Supremacy and Judicial Review.

Federal actions made “in Pursuance of” constitutional principles and duties do indeed enjoy federal supremacy. Action not made “in Pursuance thereof,” have no force of law at all.

While the US Supreme Court does have “original jurisdiction” in all constitutional disputes between a state and the federal government, it is the people who shall have the final word, final jurisdiction.

Fortunately, not all state representatives are like Speaker Jase Bolger or Democrat Tennessee Attorney General Robert Cooper, who also seems to understand very little about the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

There are great conservative leaders at the state level, like Rep. Judd Matheny and Rep. John Ragan. Others who helped make the Balance of Powers Committee possible in Tennessee are Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey and House Speaker Beth Harwell, both of whom joined Matheny in his effort to protect the natural rights of all Tennesseans.

I discussed the great success with Randy and Brian on Michigan Defending Fathers Radio last Friday, where citizens are working around the clock to find the kind of leaders found in Tennessee, so that the people of Michigan will have a state government that acts to protect the state and the people of Michigan.

Every state seeking to protect and preserve the constitutional rights of the state and the people should enact The Balance of Powers Act ahead of any other legislation, as it is designed to protect the state and the people against every federal overreach or abuse of power.

Also supporting the Balance of Powers Act in Tennessee were Tennessee Eagle Forum and numerous patriot groups across the state. Please join me in thanking these true conservative leaders for standing tall to protect the natural rights of Tennesseans and then join us in the effort to make The Balance of Powers a reality in YOUR state.

Write the heroes of Tennessee here:

Rep. Judd Matheny
Sen. Mike Bell
Rep. John Ragan
Rep. Sheila Butt
Senator Mae Beavers
Speaker Beth Harwell
 Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey

IRS claims they can read your e-mail and other electronic communications without a warrant

According to documents recently obtained by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) believes they have the authority to read the private e-mail messages, Facebook chats and other online communications of Americans without obtaining a warrant.

This probably isn’t surprising given the blatant nature of the government’s illegal spying at this point and the complete flouting of judicial scrutiny when it comes to government surveillance.

According to IRS lawyers, the American people have “generally no privacy” in online communications which means no Fourth Amendment standards apply and no search warrant is needed to read our private communications.

The 2009 IRS Search Warrant Handbook obtained by the ACLU through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request claims that “mails and other transmissions generally lose their reasonable expectation of privacy and thus their Fourth Amendment protection once they have been sent from an individual’s computer.”

Considering the fact that this so-called handbook was prepared by none other than the Office of Chief Counsel for the Criminal Tax Division, this is quite troubling.

While the ACLU’s intent was to obtain records simply stating if the IRS gets a warrant before reading email, text messages and other private electronic communications, the documents obtained don’t give a point blank answer.

While the IRS might not come right out and say it for obvious reasons, the ACLU notes that the 247 pages of records they obtained indeed suggest that the IRS reads private communications without getting a warrant first.

Saying “suggest” is a quite conservative choice of words indeed given some of the material. Part of the 2009 handbook actually claims that “the Fourth Amendment does not protect communications held in electronic storage, such as email messages stored on a server, because Internet users do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in such communications.”

A 2010 presentation by the IRS Office of Chief Counsel claims that “4th Amendment Does Not Protect Emails Stored on Server” and that there is “No Privacy Expectation” when it comes to those emails.

However, United States v. Warshak, a 2010 case in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, determined that the government must indeed obtain a probable cause warrant before forcing an email provider to release messages.

“However, the IRS hasn’t told the public whether it is following Warshak everywhere in the country, or only within the Sixth Circuit,” according to Nathan Freed Wessler, a staff attorney for the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy & Technology Project.

That said, it could not be clearer that the IRS policy before Warshak was to read electronic communications without ever obtaining a warrant.

The IRS apparently only follows the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) a 1980s-era law that is far behind the times as CNET points out in writing that it was “adopted in the era of telephone modems, BBSs, and UUCP links, long before gigabytes of e-mail stored in the cloud was ever envisioned.”

In a March 2011 revision of the Internal Revenue Manual, it is stated that under the ECPA, “Investigators can obtain everything in an account except for unopened e-mail or voice mail stored with a provider for 180 days or less using a [relevant-and-material-standard] court order” instead of an actual warrant.

As Wessler points out, “Again, no suggestion that the Fourth Amendment might require more,” meaning that their policy apparently did not change one bit after Warshak. This apparently has not changed one bit in the current tax season’s Internal Revenue Manual.

An IRS Chief Counsel Advice memorandum from October 2011 similarly “misses another chance to declare that agents should obtain a warrant for emails because the Fourth Amendment requires it. Instead, the memo’s advice (which may not be used as precedent and is not binding in other IRS criminal investigations) is limited to situations in the Ninth Circuit where an ISP intends to challenge warrantless requests for emails,” according to Wessler.

The ACLU is also now waiting on documents from the FBI and other Department of Justice Agencies on similar matters.

“Let’s hope you never end up on the wrong end of an IRS criminal tax investigation,” Wessler writes. “But if you do, you should be able to trust that the IRS will obey the Fourth Amendment when it seeks the contents of your private emails. Until now, that hasn’t been the case.”

U.S. SENATE SHOOTS DOWN BACKGROUND CHECK AMENDMENT, PRO-GUN AMENDMENTS SCUTTLED, FEINSTEIN AMENDMENT GOES DOWN IN FLAMES

After the Manchin-Toomey proposal failed to clear the U.S. Senate, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, co-chair of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, released the following statement:
Source: The Blaze

Today’s vote is a damning indictment of the stranglehold that special interests have on Washington. More than 40 U.S. senators would rather turn their backs on the 90 percent of Americans who support comprehensive background checks than buck the increasingly extremist wing of the gun lobby.

Democrats – who are so quick to blame Republicans for our broken gun laws – could not stand united. And Republicans – who are so quick to blame Democrats for not being tough enough on crime – handed criminals a huge victory, by preserving their ability to buy guns illegally at gun shows and online and keeping the illegal trafficking market well-fed.

With only 46 votes in favor, the Lautenberg-Blumenthal amendment calling for the ban of “high-capacity ammunition magazines” fails to pass the senate.

The senate will continue debating gun control on Thursday.

The Burr amendment, which would require a court to decide whether a veteran, who is deemed mentally incompetent, can own a gun, does not clear the U.S. Senate.

The final vote is 56-44.
Toomey-Manchin

The Feinstein amendment, which would ban the future manufacture, possession, and sale of 157 semi-automatic weapons and high-capacity magazines, fails to clear the senate. Only 40 senators voted in favor of the amendment. Sixty voted against it.

The Cornyn amendment, which would have allowed concealed-carry permits issued in one state to be valid in all other states, fails with only 57 votes.

The Leahy-Collins amendment fails to clear the senate.

“The Leahy-Collins amendment clarified language on lawfully buying a gun from a licensed dealer as a gift so that was not viewed as straw purchasing under the law,” The Hill explains.

Fifty-eight senators voted in favor of the proposal.

With only 52 votes in favor, the Cruz-Grassley amendment fails to clear the senate.

The amendment sought to “reauthorize and improve the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), increase resources for prosecutions of gun crime, address mental illness in the criminal justice system, and strengthen criminal law by including straw purchasing and illegal firearm trafficking statutes.”

Following the Manchin-Toomey vote, the National Rifle Association released the following statement:

Today, the misguided Manchin-Toomey-Schumer proposal failed in the U.S. Senate. This amendment would have criminalized certain private transfers of firearms between honest citizens, requiring lifelong friends, neighbors and some family members to get federal government permission to exercise a fundamental right or face prosecution. As we have noted previously, expanding background checks, at gun shows or elsewhere, will not reduce violent crime or keep our kids safe in their schools.

The NRA will continue to work with Republicans and Democrats who are committed to protecting our children in schools, prosecuting violent criminals to the fullest extent of the law, and fixing our broken mental health system. We are grateful for the hard work and leadership of those Senators who chose to pursue meaningful solutions to our nation’s most pressing problems.

The Manchin-Toomey background check amendment, one of nine proposed changes to a gun control bill currently being debated in the U.S. Senate, on Wednesday failed to get the 60 votes required for passage.

Fifty-four U.S. Senators voted “aye” and 46 voted “nay.”

The proposal, named for Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.) and Patrick Toomey (R-Pa.), would have expanded existing background checks on gun buyers to cover firearms sold at gun shows and via the Internet.

Senate Majoirty Leader Harry Reid voted against the proposal. He was joined by Democrat Sens. Baucus, Begich, Heitkamp, Pryor.

“Reid voted no for procedural reasons,” CBS News’ Major Garrett explains. “As Majority Leader, a ‘no’ vote allows him to bring the amendment up again.”

Arizona Republican John McCain voted in favor of the bill. He was joined by Republican Sens. Collins, Kirk, and Toomey.

How Joe Manchin Blew It

WASHINGTON — The bipartisan bill to expand background checks for gun buyers fell flat on the Senate floor Wednesday, capping a failed months-long campaign by Sen. Joe Manchin that was marked from start to finish by a series of messaging missteps and strategic blunders.

The bill, an eleventh-hour deal brokered last week by Manchin and Republican Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, would have required background checks for commercial firearm purchases on the web and at gun shows. Family members of major mass shootings victims — from Newtown, Conn., and Aurora, Colo., and Virginia Tech — looked on from the Senate gallery Wednesday afternoon as the votes rolled in for a final count of 54-46.

Some version of the gun control bill could still theoretically pass. But the bipartisan Manchin-Toomey amendment was widely viewed as the most important element of the legislation from the perspective of gun control advocates, and its swift defeat in the Senate represents a serious blow to their efforts in the wake of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school late last year.

Manchin, a pro-gun Democrat with friends on both sides of the aisle, seemed like the perfect senator to carry the gun control banner. But he repeatedly got in his own way with public and private statements that riled his opponents and confounded even some of his allies.
One of those mistakes came at the beginning of his campaign for expanded background checks, at a breakfast on March 18 for reporters and columnists sponsored by Bloomberg View in New York City.

At the meeting, Manchin accidentally let slip that he was headed the next day to a meeting with the National Rifle Association to try to woo the powerful gun lobby’s support for his legislation, which at the time had yet to gain a Republican co-sponsor.
Although no ground rules had been set at the start of the Bloomberg discussion, Manchin retroactively tried to put his comments off the record. The senator’s office was then forced to spend the rest of the morning on the phone with reporters pushing back against the terms, including one from BuzzFeed. But Manchin’s talks with the NRA leaked later that week to Politico.

The senator’s weeks of negotiations with the NRA came to a halt last week on the day he and Toomey unveiled their bill at a press conference. The press secretary in Manchin’s office told BuzzFeed that morning that the NRA was staying “neutral” on the bill. But minutes after the story was published and the press conference concluded, the NRA released a statement disavowing background checks. The group’s spokesman, Andrew Arulanandam, later went even further: “We are opposed to Toomey-Manchin. Period,” he said.

The confusion over whether the group would oppose the bill undermined Manchin’s negotiations, and publicly pitted the two parties against one another on a crucial day for the effort.

By the morning of the vote, their relationship was in apparent disarray: The NRA was asking its supporters to call their representatives to “urge them to oppose the Manchin-Toomey amendment,” and Manchin was on the floor of the Senate, saying the group had misrepresented his bill to the public.
Meanwhile, gun control activists and their allies in Congress pinned their hopes on the Manchin-Toomey amendment. Advocates came out in favor of the compromise plan, and powerful Democratic senators like New York’s Chuck Schumer got on board as well.

Manchin-Toomey was the last chance for background checks, and gun control-supporting Democrats seemed to rely on Manchin to sell it to their more reticent colleagues. But some advocates said he stumbled in the final hours of that effort.

Earlier Wednesday morning, just hours before his amendment was set to see a vote, Manchin appeared to lose confidence in his own bill’s chances, despite the fact that a number of his colleagues in the Senate were still officially undecided.
Just before 8 a.m., Manchin told an NBC News reporter that the deal was dead in the water. “We will not get the votes today,” he said. The network also reported that the red-state Democrat was “telling folks privately his amendment with Toomey is going down.” Just minutes later, Manchin was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe with Toomey to say he was optimistic. “We’ll see,” he said.

Manchin, a longtime Second Amendment advocate with an “A” rating from the NRA, was reportedly on the phone with his colleagues until midnight Tuesday and again at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning in an effort to sway last-minute votes. He also attended the weekly “Wednesday meeting” hosted by anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist to make a last-ditch appeal to conservatives. Toomey, too, told reporters he was working the phones Wednesday for what he expected would be a “close vote.”

But by early afternoon, it became clear that not enough senators would support the bill.

Gun control advocates speculated that Manchin’s back-and-forth on the morning of the vote — with lawmakers like Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Democrat Sen. Heidi Heitkamp still on the fence — gave cover enough for still undecideds to jump ship before the vote that afternoon.

“He got ahead of himself this morning and made it harder for us,” Josh Horwitz, executive director of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, told BuzzFeed before the vote.

“I’m going to give Manchin a lot of credit for putting his neck out on this thing. But I think as the team leader, you’ve got to be out there cheering the team on,” he said. “You’ve got to get out there and push to the last moment and if you lose you lose.”

“What quarterback doesn’t want the ball in the fourth quarter, ball in the hand, down by a couple points,” Horwitz added. “That’s where we are. And you don’t want you’re quarterback saying, ‘eh, guys, we really can’t win this,’ you know? ‘Sorry you guys broke your leg for me and you’re out there playing in pain but yeah, we cant win.'”

But asked whether the bill’s failure was his responsibility, or just a defeat at the hands of the NRA, Manchin told BuzzFeed before the vote, “If somebody doesn’t want to vote for it, that’s fine, but don’t make up something that’s not in the bill.”

“So if we would somehow not quite get over the hump today, that’d be wrong, because it’s been put together by too many people who want to protect legal gun owners like myself,” Manchin said.

Proponents of the bill say Manchin could have better handled the roll-out and execution of the background checks proposal, but they blame the defeat on Republicans in the Senate committed to opposing any legislation perceived to be anti-gun.

Mark Glaze, a spokesman for the Michael Bloomberg-headed Mayors Against Illegal Guns, said Manchin shouldn’t take any heat for sticking his neck out as a red-state Democrat and taking the lead in one of the country’s most heated political issues.

“Joe Manchin has been a profile in courage and as will be demonstrated today there are precious few of those in the United States Senate,” Glaze said.
But even Bloomberg, while commending Manchin’s efforts, seemed to criticize his execution in a statement released shortly after the amendment failed, with four Democrats voting against it.

“Democrats — who are so quick to blame Republicans for our broken gun laws — could not stand united,” Bloomberg said.
John Stanton contributed to this report.

The Art of Now: Six Steps to Living in the Moment

We live in the age of distraction. Yet one of life’s sharpest paradoxes is that your brightest future hinges on your ability to pay attention to the present.

A friend was walking in the desert when he found the telephone to God. The setting was Burning Man, an electronic arts and music festival for which 50,000 people descend on Black Rock City, Nevada, for eight days of “radical self-expression”—dancing, socializing, meditating, and debauchery.

A phone booth in the middle of the desert with a sign that said “Talk to God” was a surreal sight even at Burning Man. The idea was that you picked up the phone, and God—or someone claiming to be God—would be at the other end to ease your pain.

So when God came on the line asking how he could help, my friend was ready. “How can I live more in the moment?” he asked. Too often, he felt, the beautiful moments of his life were drowned out by a cacophony of self-consciousness and anxiety. What could he do to hush the buzzing of his mind?

“Breathe,” replied a soothing male voice.

My friend flinched at the tired new-age mantra, then reminded himself to keep an open mind. When God talks, you listen.

“Whenever you feel anxious about your future or your past, just breathe,” continued God. “Try it with me a few times right now. Breathe in… breathe out.” And despite himself, my friend began to relax.

You Are Not Your Thoughts

Life unfolds in the present. But so often, we let the present slip away, allowing time to rush past unobserved and unseized, and squandering the precious seconds of our lives as we worry about the future and ruminate about what’s past. “We’re living in a world that contributes in a major way to mental fragmentation, disintegration, distraction, decoherence,” says Buddhist scholar B. Alan Wallace. We’re always doing something, and we allow little time to practice stillness and calm.

When we’re at work, we fantasize about being on vacation; on vacation, we worry about the work piling up on our desks. We dwell on intrusive memories of the past or fret about what may or may not happen in the future. We don’t appreciate the living present because our “monkey minds,” as Buddhists call them, vault from thought to thought like monkeys swinging from tree to tree.

Most of us don’t undertake our thoughts in awareness. Rather, our thoughts control us. “Ordinary thoughts course through our mind like a deafening waterfall,” writes Jon Kabat-Zinn, the biomedical scientist who introduced meditation into mainstream medicine. In order to feel more in control of our minds and our lives, to find the sense of balance that eludes us, we need to step out of this current, to pause, and, as Kabat-Zinn puts it, to “rest in stillness—to stop doing and focus on just being.”

We need to live more in the moment. Living in the moment—also called mindfulness—is a state of active, open, intentional attention on the present. When you become mindful, you realize that you are not your thoughts; you become an observer of your thoughts from moment to moment without judging them. Mindfulness involves being with your thoughts as they are, neither grasping at them nor pushing them away. Instead of letting your life go by without living it, you awaken to experience.

Cultivating a nonjudgmental awareness of the present bestows a host of benefits. Mindfulness reduces stress, boosts immune functioning, reduces chronic pain, lowers blood pressure, and helps patients cope with cancer. By alleviating stress, spending a few minutes a day actively focusing on living in the moment reduces the risk of heart disease. Mindfulness may even slow the progression of HIV.

Mindful people are happier, more exuberant, more empathetic, and more secure. They have higher self-esteem and are more accepting of their own weaknesses. Anchoring awareness in the here and now reduces the kinds of impulsivity and reactivity that underlie depression, binge eating, and attention problems. Mindful people can hear negative feedback without feeling threatened. They fight less with their romantic partners and are more accommodating and less defensive. As a result, mindful couples have more satisfying relationships.

Mindfulness is at the root of Buddhism, Taoism, and many Native-American traditions, not to mention yoga. It’s why Thoreau went to Walden Pond; it’s what Emerson and Whitman wrote about in their essays and poems.

“Everyone agrees it’s important to live in the moment, but the problem is how,” says Ellen Langer, a psychologist at Harvard and author of Mindfulness. “When people are not in the moment, they’re not there to know that they’re not there.” Overriding the distraction reflex and awakening to the present takes intentionality and practice.

Living in the moment involves a profound paradox: You can’t pursue it for its benefits. That’s because the expectation of reward launches a future-oriented mindset, which subverts the entire process. Instead, you just have to trust that the rewards will come. There are many paths to mindfulness—and at the core of each is a paradox. Ironically, letting go of what you want is the only way to get it. Here are a few tricks to help you along.

1: To improve your performance, stop thinking about it (unselfconsciousness).

I’ve never felt comfortable on a dance floor. My movements feel awkward. I feel like people are judging me. I never know what to do with my arms. I want to let go, but I can’t, because I know I look ridiculous.

“Loosen up, no one’s watching you,” people always say. “Everyone’s too busy worrying about themselves.” So how come they always make fun of my dancing the next day?

The dance world has a term for people like me: “absolute beginner.” Which is why my dance teacher, Jessica Hayden, the owner of Shockra Studio in Manhattan, started at the beginning, sitting me down on a bench and having me tap my feet to the beat as Jay-Z thumped away in the background. We spent the rest of the class doing “isolations”—moving just our shoulders, ribs, or hips—to build “body awareness.”

But even more important than body awareness, Hayden said, was present-moment awareness. “Be right here right now!” she’d say. “Just let go and let yourself be in the moment.”

That’s the first paradox of living in the moment: Thinking too hard about what you’re doing actually makes you do worse. If you’re in a situation that makes you anxious—giving a speech, introducing yourself to a stranger, dancing—focusing on your anxiety tends to heighten it. “When I say, ‘be here with me now,’ I mean don’t zone out or get too in-your-head—instead, follow my energy, my movements,” says Hayden. “Focus less on what’s going on in your mind and more on what’s going on in the room, less on your mental chatter and more on yourself as part of something.” To be most myself, I needed to focus on things outside myself, like the music or the people around me.

Indeed, mindfulness blurs the line between self and other, explains Michael Kernis, a psychologist at the University of Georgia. “When people are mindful, they’re more likely to experience themselves as part of humanity, as part of a greater universe.” That’s why highly mindful people such as Buddhist monks talk about being “one with everything.”

By reducing self-consciousness, mindfulness allows you to witness the passing drama of feelings, social pressures, even of being esteemed or disparaged by others without taking their evaluations personally, explain Richard Ryan and K. W. Brown of the University of Rochester. When you focus on your immediate experience without attaching it to your self-esteem, unpleasant events like social rejection—or your so-called friends making fun of your dancing—seem less threatening.

Focusing on the present moment also forces you to stop overthinking. “Being present-minded takes away some of that self-evaluation and getting lost in your mind—and in the mind is where we make the evaluations that beat us up,” says Stephen Schueller, a psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania. Instead of getting stuck in your head and worrying, you can let yourself go.

2: To avoid worrying about the future, focus on the present (savoring).

In her memoir Eat, Pray, Love, Elizabeth Gilbert writes about a friend who, whenever she sees a beautiful place, exclaims in a near panic, “It’s so beautiful here! I want to come back here someday!” “It takes all my persuasive powers,” writes Gilbert, “to try to convince her that she is already here.”

Often, we’re so trapped in thoughts of the future or the past that we forget to experience, let alone enjoy, what’s happening right now. We sip coffee and think, “This is not as good as what I had last week.” We eat a cookie and think, “I hope I don’t run out of cookies.”

Instead, relish or luxuriate in whatever you’re doing at the present moment—what psychologists call savoring. “This could be while you’re eating a pastry, taking a shower, or basking in the sun. You could be savoring a success or savoring music,” explains Sonja Lyubomirsky, a psychologist at the University of California at Riverside and author of The How of Happiness. “Usually it involves your senses.”

When subjects in a study took a few minutes each day to actively savor something they usually hurried through—eating a meal, drinking a cup of tea, walking to the bus—they began experiencing more joy, happiness, and other positive emotions, and fewer depressive symptoms, Schueller found.

Why does living in the moment make people happier—not just at the moment they’re tasting molten chocolate pooling on their tongue, but lastingly? Because most negative thoughts concern the past or the future. As Mark Twain said, “I have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.” The hallmark of depression and anxiety is catastrophizing—worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet and might not happen at all. Worry, by its very nature, means thinking about the future—and if you hoist yourself into awareness of the present moment, worrying melts away.

The flip side of worrying is ruminating, thinking bleakly about events in the past. And again, if you press your focus into the now, rumination ceases. Savoring forces you into the present, so you can’t worry about things that aren’t there.

3: If you want a future with your significant other, inhabit the present (breathe).

Living consciously with alert interest has a powerful effect on interpersonal life. Mindfulness actually inoculates people against aggressive impulses, say Whitney Heppner and Michael Kernis of the University of Georgia. In a study they conducted, each subject was told that other subjects were forming a group—and taking a vote on whether she could join. Five minutes later, the experimenter announced the results—either the subject had gotten the least number of votes and been rejected or she’d been accepted. Beforehand, half the subjects had undergone a mindfulness exercise in which each slowly ate a raisin, savoring its taste and texture and focusing on each sensation.

Later, in what they thought was a separate experiment, subjects had the opportunity to deliver a painful blast of noise to another person. Among subjects who hadn’t eaten the raisin, those who were told they’d been rejected by the group became aggressive, inflicting long and painful sonic blasts without provocation. Stung by social rejection, they took it out on other people.

But among those who’d eaten the raisin first, it didn’t matter whether they’d been ostracized or embraced. Either way, they were serene and unwilling to inflict pain on others—exactly like those who were given word of social acceptance.

How does being in the moment make you less aggressive? “Mindfulness decreases ego involvement,” explains Kernis. “So people are less likely to link their self-esteem to events and more likely to take things at face value.” Mindfulness also makes people feel more connected to other people—that empathic feeling of being “at one with the universe.”

Mindfulness boosts your awareness of how you interpret and react to what’s happening in your mind. It increases the gap between emotional impulse and action, allowing you to do what Buddhists call recognizing the spark before the flame. Focusing on the present reboots your mind so you can respond thoughtfully rather than automatically. Instead of lashing out in anger, backing down in fear, or mindlessly indulging a passing craving, you get the opportunity to say to yourself, “This is the emotion I’m feeling. How should I respond?”

Mindfulness increases self-control; since you’re not getting thrown by threats to your self-esteem, you’re better able to regulate your behavior. That’s the other irony: Inhabiting your own mind more fully has a powerful effect on your interactions with others.

Of course, during a flare-up with your significant other it’s rarely practical to duck out and savor a raisin. But there’s a simple exercise you can do anywhere, anytime to induce mindfulness: Breathe. As it turns out, the advice my friend got in the desert was spot-on. There’s no better way to bring yourself into the present moment than to focus on your breathing. Because you’re placing your awareness on what’s happening right now, you propel yourself powerfully into the present moment. For many, focusing on the breath is the preferred method of orienting themselves to the now—not because the breath has some magical property, but because it’s always there with you.

4: To make the most of time, lose track of it (flow).

Perhaps the most complete way of living in the moment is the state of total absorption psychologists call flow. Flow occurs when you’re so engrossed in a task that you lose track of everything else around you. Flow embodies an apparent paradox: How can you be living in the moment if you’re not even aware of the moment? The depth of engagement absorbs you powerfully, keeping attention so focused that distractions cannot penetrate. You focus so intensely on what you’re doing that you’re unaware of the passage of time. Hours can pass without you noticing.

Flow is an elusive state. As with romance or sleep, you can’t just will yourself into it—all you can do is set the stage, creating the optimal conditions for it to occur.

The first requirement for flow is to set a goal that’s challenging but not unattainable—something you have to marshal your resources and stretch yourself to achieve. The task should be matched to your ability level—not so difficult that you’ll feel stressed, but not so easy that you’ll get bored. In flow, you’re firing on all cylinders to rise to a challenge.

To set the stage for flow, goals need to be clearly defined so that you always know your next step. “It could be playing the next bar in a scroll of music, or finding the next foothold if you’re a rock climber, or turning the page if you’re reading a good novel,” says Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, the psychologist who first defined the concept of flow. “At the same time, you’re kind of anticipating.”

You also need to set up the task in such a way that you receive direct and immediate feedback; with your successes and failures apparent, you can seamlessly adjust your behavior. A climber on the mountain knows immediately if his foothold is secure; a pianist knows instantly when she’s played the wrong note.

As your attentional focus narrows, self-consciousness evaporates. You feel as if your awareness merges with the action you’re performing. You feel a sense of personal mastery over the situation, and the activity is so intrinsically rewarding that although the task is difficult, action feels effortless.

5: If something is bothering you, move toward it rather than away from it (acceptance).

We all have pain in our lives, whether it’s the ex we still long for, the jackhammer snarling across the street, or the sudden wave of anxiety when we get up to give a speech. If we let them, such irritants can distract us from the enjoyment of life. Paradoxically, the obvious response—focusing on the problem in order to combat and overcome it—often makes it worse, argues Stephen Hayes, a psychologist at the University of Nevada.

The mind’s natural tendency when faced with pain is to attempt to avoid it—by trying to resist unpleasant thoughts, feelings, and sensations. When we lose a love, for instance, we fight our feelings of heartbreak. As we get older, we work feverishly to recapture our youth. When we’re sitting in the dentist’s chair waiting for a painful root canal, we wish we were anywhere but there. But in many cases, negative feelings and situations can’t be avoided—and resisting them only magnifies the pain.

The problem is we have not just primary emotions but also secondary ones—emotions about other emotions. We get stressed out and then think, “I wish I weren’t so stressed out.” The primary emotion is stress over your workload. The secondary emotion is feeling, “I hate being stressed.”

It doesn’t have to be this way. The solution is acceptance—letting the emotion be there. That is, being open to the way things are in each moment without trying to manipulate or change the experience—without judging it, clinging to it, or pushing it away. The present moment can only be as it is. Trying to change it only frustrates and exhausts you. Acceptance relieves you of this needless extra suffering.

Suppose you’ve just broken up with your girlfriend or boyfriend; you’re heartbroken, overwhelmed by feelings of sadness and longing. You could try to fight these feelings, essentially saying, “I hate feeling this way; I need to make this feeling go away.” But by focusing on the pain—being sad about being sad—you only prolong the sadness. You do yourself a favor by accepting your feelings, saying instead, “I’ve just had a breakup. Feelings of loss are normal and natural. It’s OK for me to feel this way.”

Acceptance of an unpleasant state doesn’t mean you don’t have goals for the future. It just means you accept that certain things are beyond your control. The sadness, stress, pain, or anger is there whether you like it or not. Better to embrace the feeling as it is.

Nor does acceptance mean you have to like what’s happening. “Acceptance of the present moment has nothing to do with resignation,” writes Kabat-Zinn. “Acceptance doesn’t tell you what to do. What happens next, what you choose to do; that has to come out of your understanding of this moment.”

If you feel anxiety, for instance, you can accept the feeling, label it as anxiety—then direct your attention to something else instead. You watch your thoughts, perceptions, and emotions flit through your mind without getting involved. Thoughts are just thoughts. You don’t have to believe them and you don’t have to do what they say.

6: Know that you don’t know (engagement).

You’ve probably had the experience of driving along a highway only to suddenly realize you have no memory or awareness of the previous 15 minutes. Maybe you even missed your exit. You just zoned out; you were somewhere else, and it’s as if you’ve suddenly woken up at the wheel. Or maybe it happens when you’re reading a book: “I know I just read that page, but I have no idea what it said.”

These autopilot moments are what Harvard’s Ellen Langer calls mindlessness—times when you’re so lost in your thoughts that you aren’t aware of your present experience. As a result, life passes you by without registering on you. The best way to avoid such blackouts, Langer says, is to develop the habit of always noticing new things in whatever situation you’re in. That process creates engagement with the present moment and releases a cascade of other benefits. Noticing new things puts you emphatically in the here and now.

We become mindless, Langer explains, because once we think we know something, we stop paying attention to it. We go about our morning commute in a haze because we’ve trod the same route a hundred times before. But if we see the world with fresh eyes, we realize almost everything is different each time—the pattern of light on the buildings, the faces of the people, even the sensations and feelings we experience along the way. Noticing imbues each moment with a new, fresh quality. Some people have termed this “beginner’s mind.”

By acquiring the habit of noticing new things, says Langer, we recognize that the world is actually changing constantly. We really don’t know how the espresso is going to taste or how the commute will be—or at least, we’re not sure.

Orchestra musicians who are instructed to make their performance new in subtle ways not only enjoy themselves more but audiences actually prefer those performances. “When we’re there at the moment, making it new, it leaves an imprint in the music we play, the things we write, the art we create, in everything we do,” says Langer. “Once you recognize that you don’t know the things you’ve always taken for granted, you set out of the house quite differently. It becomes an adventure in noticing—and the more you notice, the more you see.” And the more excitement you feel.

Don’t Just Do Something, Sit There

Living a consistently mindful life takes effort. But mindfulness itself is easy. “People set the goal of being mindful for the next 20 minutes or the next two weeks, then they think mindfulness is difficult because they have the wrong yardstick,” says Jay Winner, a California-based family physician and author of Take the Stress out of Your Life. “The correct yardstick is just for this moment.”

Mindfulness is the only intentional, systematic activity that is not about trying to improve yourself or get anywhere else, explains Kabat-Zinn. It is simply a matter of realizing where you already are. A cartoon from The New Yorker sums it up: Two monks are sitting side by side, meditating. The younger one is giving the older one a quizzical look, to which the older one responds, “Nothing happens next. This is it.”

You can become mindful at any moment just by paying attention to your immediate experience. You can do it right now. What’s happening this instant? Think of yourself as an eternal witness, and just observe the moment. What do you see, hear, smell? It doesn’t matter how it feels—pleasant or unpleasant, good or bad—you roll with it because it’s what’s present; you’re not judging it. And if you notice your mind wandering, bring yourself back. Just say to yourself, “Now. Now. Now.”

Here’s the most fundamental paradox of all: Mindfulness isn’t a goal, because goals are about the future, but you do have to set the intention of paying attention to what’s happening at the present moment. As you read the words printed on this page, as your eyes distinguish the black squiggles on white paper, as you feel gravity anchoring you to the planet, wake up. Become aware of being alive. And breathe. As you draw your next breath, focus on the rise of your abdomen on the in-breath, the stream of heat through your nostrils on the out-breath. If you’re aware of that feeling right now, as you’re reading this, you’re living in the moment. Nothing happens next. It’s not a destination. This is it. You’re already there.

The Theory of a Musical Universe

(by Dale Pond )

“The universe consists solely of waves of motion.” relates Walter Russell in chapter 31 of A New Concept of the Universe. Another way of saying this is: “There exists nothing other than vibration.” In Russells statement lies the base for his next blast at orthodoxys belief in a material universe: “Any theory which cannot find a fitting place within the wave has no other place for it in Nature.” Hard words for sure but can they stand up to scrutiny? Is it possible to create a paradigm of nature that is structured entirely on wave or vibration theory? Investigating the pioneer work of John W. Keelys Sympathetic Vibratory Physics would lead us to believe this is so.

Logically speaking for such a paradigm to exist it would be couched entirely in vibration terms and concepts and would evolve from the simple to the complex addressing atomic phenomena all the way through human activity. This author believes this can be done albeit not exhaustively in so short a paper as this one. Inasmuch as a premise voiced ought to be demonstrated it will herein be shown how all vibration is intimately connected to all other vibration thereby demonstrating 1) the interconnectedness of all things and energies; 2) all things are they themselves built up from simple vibration to complex chords using universal principles of vibration alone; 3) there is no such thing as chaos in the universe; 4) all things exist by virtue of harmony among the vibrations that make it what it is; and 5) all things are intimately connected by sympathetic vibration.

Some of the information presented here was first published in 1991 and again in the authors book in 1994. This material represents the beginning of the science side of the “science and philosophy” equation. The universe vibrates from end to end and everything in it. Therefore if we are to investigate and understand this awesome spectacle we are obliged to investigate the nature of vibration.

If the universe were chaos there would be no harmony but only degrees of chaos. All sound and vibration would be just plain noise. Noise, therefore is unorganized vibration. But none can doubt there is order recognizable throughout nature from the uniformity of atomic structures and behaviors to spiral galaxies whose swirling arms of orderly stars span light years and billions of years of activity. This innate order has been long recognized, researched and categorized and may be found in music theory. In vibratory terms disorderly vibration can be organized in terms of music principles. Therefore music is organized vibration or sound set in orderly principles of structure and behavior. The principles that make sound into harmonious music are the same principles that govern all associating vibrations throughout the universe – and that includes everything that there is. It will be shown how any given vibration gives rise to a complex yet simple series of subordinate vibrations known generally as harmonics and these harmonics are relative to one another as are musical intervals.

It is generally recognized that everything is a result of vibration and each thing has its own chord of vibration or vibration signature. This state of vibratory condition is characterized in John Keelys Law of Corporeal Vibrations:
“All coherent aggregates when isolated from like bodies, or when immersed or confined in media composed of matter in a different state, vibrate at a given ascertainable pitch.” John Keely

It is a well known and accepted fact that any vibration as in a sound tone will give rise to its octave harmonics. These are the harmonics generally acknowledged by science as multiples of 2, which multiplication derives superharmonics, and divisions by 2 derive subharmonics. These types of harmonic products or results of 2 are called octave harmonics. What is not so generally acknowledged but nevertheless just as true is a tone will give rise to harmonics not divisible 2 but divisible by other numbers such as 3, 5, 7, etc. These other harmonics are developed from and within the octave harmonic series first mentioned by the octave harmonics interacting arithmetically with and among themselves and with the fundamental. These spontaneously and naturally occurring tones will add and subtract from each other in a perfectly orderly manner giving rise to summation and difference tones sometimes referred to as secondary, tertiary or higher harmonics. When these summation tones are very powerful they are referred to as beat tones or beat frequencies and are considered enharmonic. These arithmetically derived harmonics are characterized in Keelys Law of Cycles:
“Coherent aggregates harmonically united constitute centers of vibration bearing relation to the fundamental pitch not multiples of the harmonic pitch, and the production of secondary unions between themselves generate pitches that are discords, either in their unisons, or overtones with the original pitch; from harmony is generated discord, the inevitable cause of perpetual transformation.” John Keely

Vibrations are harmonious to one another when their aliquot parts (factors and/or products) are the same. When these harmonics form unisons or direct harmonic relations the two vibrating aggregates and their chords of vibration are said to be sympathetic to each other. This unison of frequency dictates that what happens to one vibratorily happens to the other simultaneously. In this case the vibrations of each aggregate or chord and the vibrations active between each are forming unisons or coincident harmonics and are therefore called sympathetic vibrations. Vibrations are considered enharmonic when their aliquot parts or factors are not similar. Most vibrations will have similar factors and/or products and a few dissimilar factors and/or products thereby giving rise to varying degrees of harmony or dissonance whichever the case may be.

Chart1In chart #1 we can see how this process works. Any harmonic series or scale has a base frequency from which all its harmonics are derived. This base tone is called its fundamental or key note. In the chart a subharmonic of the musical note “C” is used as the fundamental or foundation upon which are self-generated a series of harmonics. This note has a frequency or rate of vibration of 256 cycles per second (cps) or a suboctave harmonic of middle “C”. The little squares contain a number representing the relative amplitude or power of this note compared to the other notes soon to be introduced. As a natural process of creative force this fundamental tone will vibrate and this vibration will divide itself into its own superharmonic of 512 cps (2 X 256) which will in turn divide ad infinitum according to natural law. Concurrently the number will also resonate and be sympathetic with subharmonics of 128, 64, etc. This process of dividing into smaller and smaller wavelengths is creative and evolutionary and according to the Law of Harmonic Vibrations:

“All coherent aggregates are perpetually vibrating at a period-frequency corresponding to some harmonic ratio of the fundamental pitch of the vibrating body; this pitch is a multiple of the pitch of the atomole [a subatomic unit].” John Keely
This new frequency of vibration is the octave harmonic of the fundamental (2 X 1) and is shown placed in the 2nd octave row directly above the first “C1” vibrating on the 1st octave row. The same process continues to unfold for virtually uncountable octaves creating higher and higher frequencies in ever more rising octaves. We will refer to this second “C” as “C2” and so forth for each octave. So far so good, we have a harmonic series born from the lone “C” stretching into infinity both above the progenitor as superharmonics and below it as subharmonics. So in the beginning there was One…. C1 is the creator of C2 which is the created and so forth. This family of “Cs” are all related by number and this relationship of number can be discovered by factoring and multiplying.

256 factors into: 1X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X2. With this it can be seen the “C” family “gene” (factors) is constructed of a 1 and eight 2s or reduced to simply 1 and 2.
The number 1 will be seen to be shared by all other numbers since all numbers contain 1. One is the ultimate Progenitor having its essence in every thing that was created from it. Therefore One permeates all vibrations equally everywhere and is sympathetic to them all equally.

Vibrations are dynamic things not unlike living things. They are creative and evolutionary simultaneously. They are active and prolific in their dynamics as are their harmonic offspring. These discrete tones of the harmonics interact with each other as they intermingle. Being primarily number oriented they will, in a very natural way mix, merge and divide among themselves just like living cells as detailed in the Law of Cycles already mentioned, the Fibonacci series or Golden Mean and according to the Law of Harmonic Pitch:

“Any aggregate in a state of vibration develops in addition to its fundamental pitch a series of vibration in symmetrical sub-multiple portions of itself, bearing ratios of one, two, three, or more times its fundamental pitch.” John Keely
C1 will add its numerical value to C2 and create a third number: 768 cps, which in terms of “Cness” means little. But in relative terms it can be seen the 768 is 3 times the original C1 of 256 cps while 512 cps is 2 times the Creator pitch. These terms of degrees of relativity are then 3 is to 2 as 768 is to 512 . The 3:2 (768:512 reduced to their least common denominators) ratio is a musical ratio of a Perfect Fifth. In this first ratio of spontaneously created harmonics we can see how a base tone gives rise to a naturally occuring harmonic that is identical to two musical notes representing a perfect musical interval of a Perfect Fifth.

768 factors into: 1X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X3. The “G” family “gene” is contructed of a 1, eight 2s and a 3. Reduced down we see a Fibonacci connection to the “C” family being 1 + 2 = 3 thus deriving all three “genes” or originating substance of the family. The Fibonnacci series was developed as a result of analysis of the reproduction rate of rabbits, living things. And in these musical notes we see the same genre of self-replicating activity playing throughout the universe.

The next harmonic to be born of the intermingling of the lower tones is the rate of 1280 resulting from the additive summation of 512 cps to 768 cps. As an additional impetus to life 1280 is also given more life force by adding in the energy of the 1st harmonic of G being 1536 – C1 = 1280. This naturally derived rate of vibration is equivalent to the musical note “E”. E is a musical Major Third above the patriarchal family of C and a Minor Third below the matriarchal family of G.

Interestingly these three first notes derived from a fundamental form the Great Triadic Chord of C, E & G long considered as the most harmonious of all chords. This chord is formed of musical Minor and Major thirds combining to form a Perfect Fifth. This author believes this natural process is revealed allegorically in the first few chapters of Genesis demonstrating the seven intervals of creation resulting from Divine Voice (sound) and Light then evolutionary steps forming the material existence of Adam (C) and Eve (G), i.e., man and woman. In other words, Genesis is an ancient and enlightened scribes attempt at detailing and conveying what they perceived as this creationist and evolutionary process of life becoming and being what it is – a rhythmic vibratory dance, oscillating and undulating motions governed by the rules of music development. Please notice the intimate connection of threes to nature as regarded by both Russell and Keely:

“The seceret of mans ability to control his universe lies in the knowledge of the tonal octave wave and its field. Therefore know the wave in all of its simplicity of three-times-three in numbered effect, multiplied to infinite complexity but still not passing beyond the three-times-three of mans easy comprehension.” Walter Russell, A New Concept of the Universe, page 56.

Rotation arises through the harmonic interactions of the dominant and enharmonic modes of vibration, in the ratio of 3:9.” John Keely, Snell Manuscript

Es “gene pool” is again different from its progenitors:

1280 factors into: 1X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X5. This “gene pool” reduces to 1, 2 and 5 wherein we can see the harmonious connection to the C and G families in the 1 and 2 being common “genes” or factors of multiplicity which establish a degree of “sympathy” or harmony between tones. And the Fibonacci aspect is seen again: 1 + 2 = 3 and 2 + 3 = 5.

Next in line of procreation is “D” having 2304 cps. The “D” family of harmonics are created from a merging of G1 + G2 = 2304 and C3 + E1 = 2304 . D is therefore offspring of several combinations of progenitor tones and has relatively high power of 16.

2304 factors into: 1X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X2X3X3. Ds gene pool reduces to 1, 2 and 3 same as the G family just a musical and harmonic Fifth away. While E is a musical third from its parents C and G while D is only a musical Second away. A third in musical terms is considered more harmonious a relationship than a Second which is considered somewhat discordant. The reason for this is the closeness of the numbers. The ratio of numbers in a Second may be so close that when they subtract from one another there arises a slight difference which can become a beat tone and it is this difference that gives rise to the perceived “harshness” of sound of a chord made of these two tones when played together. This new beat tone may have a factor set of numbers not wholely similar to its prgenitors. One could liken this “marriage” of Second tones to an interfamilial one wherein offspring may be “aberrant” in formation and or activity. When sounded sequentially one after the other there is a degree of harmony but together they do not make harmonious music due to the enharmonic character of the beat tone.

Another interesting harmonic born of this process of evolution of harmonies is an interval close to the note F. An arithmetically derived Perfect Fourth (3:4) above C4 (2048) would yield F at 2730.6 which would be enharmonic. However a naturally occuring summation tone of C4 (2048) + G1 (768) yields 2816 (F) which coincides with a musical Perfect Fourth derived from C4 (2112) when A=440. What this shows is the “pedigree” of a number determines how its harmonics will interface with itself being then harmonious or discordant to some degree. By simply shifting the fundamental by a digit or two changes the degree of concordance. But this area of music and harmony excedes the scope of this brief paper. This conversion from naturally occuring harmonics to artifically derived musical intervals is outside the scope of this short discussion. The writer wishes to simply present the idea that all sounds or vibrations when considered as a fundamental will yield a complex series of octave and nonoctave harmonics following the rules that govern music development which are in reality an attempt to mirror naturally occuring activities among vibrations.

There is another kind of additive and subtractive synthesis going on in vibrations as they interact. This summation or difference is in the POWER of the vibrations. Throwing a pebble in a calm pool of water will give rise to concentric rings of waves expanding outward. The rings of waves possess two basic wave characteristics. Each ring is composed of a raised portion of water and a sequential portion of lowered water each portion being above and below the normal level of the water respectively. If another pebble is thrown into the water a second series of concentric rings will arise. The two series of rings will interact. Where the crest of a wave meets another crest of a wave from the other ring series the two crests will add their height to each other thereby creating a momentary increase in height above the unadded portion of each wave. And where a trough meets a trough the reverse will be true. In sound waves this adding and subtracting will occur with harmonics and harmonics of harmonics resulting in quite complex wave configurations.

The Proof

All good theories require a proof before they can be accepted. In our case of musical octave and nonoctave harmonics arising from all vibrations we can present a model.

In November 1989 Sound & Vibration magazine published an interesting article on Chladni wave plate modes and frequencies. The latest technology was used to record and tabulate this intriguing phenomenon. The aim was to find the various naturally occuring frequencies and modes of a vibrating square plate when forced to vibrate thus revealing its natural frequencies or modes of resonance.

In finding the interrelationships of the vibratory activities along the lines of our theory a table of these naturally occuring frequencies and modes was prepared, see chart #2. Common music note intervals are compared along with the various modes and frequencies discovered. It is very interesting to see that the naturally occuring frequencies when compared one to another, as is done with musical pitches to derive intervals, all fall very close to known musical intervals!

NotesTaking just two modes by way of example, “Mode 3” and “Mode 2,” we see the difference between these two numbers is only 19/1000ths greater than a Minor Third. The difference between this naturally occuring interval and a Major Third is only 31/1000ths. The differences of some of the other numbers are even closer to an accurate musical interval. This becomes significant when a vibration of 1207 cycles per second in the Mode 2 pattern could generate a Mode 3 pattern at 1472 cps by simply increasing the 1207 cps by a musical third, a simple arithmetic procedure.

There would be no complicated mathematical calculation required to calculate or predict this new frequency. The right-brain art of music would win out in its simplicity (chart #3). In other words, the right brain simplicity would succeed easily over the left brain complications (chart #2). Even more significant is the grasp we would weld over a complicated subject (chart #4). This simple insight gives us the Holy Grail of science: Predictability. The resultant frequencies can be accurately predicted before attempting the experiment. Thus instead of finding a series of unrelated frequency numbers we find a highly relative and organized phenomenon – pure harmony where chaos was thought to be.

signatureMusical intervals are the distances between pitches (relative frequencies). An interval is the amount of change (Delta) between the pitches. The frequencies can be set up as algebraic variables set to a given difference in quantity just like symbolic notes on a staff. See chart #3. It would then be easy to determine the resultant secondary frequencies and modes from this fundamental number by using the decimal values given above or simply marking another note symbol a musical third, fifth, etc. accurately representing a harmonic naturally derived. In other words: when given a vibrating plate of these dimensions and characteristics it would be a simply matter to predict its vibrational behavior using these musical intervals and understandings. An in-depth, left-brain, time-consuming and expensive analysis would not be required.

Thus we can see our theory as stated earlier is accurate in its concept, execution and in the information it yields. Proving then, it really is a Musical Universe! which is both created and evolved from its vibratory root of One demonstrating there is no conflict between concepts of a created universe and theories supporting material evolution. Both these concepts work hand in hand to manifest, choreograph and present the spectacle of beauty, structure, dynamics, utility and love seen all around us. Genesis records God as having said Light into Being but perhaps it would be more accurate to say God sang Light into Being as the prelude to our Cosmic dance?

Can The Awakening Be Hijacked?

by Zen Gardner

Once we understand that everything is an illusion we’re home free. Knowing we’re eternal consciousness having this in-body experience is the greatest gift anyone can possibly wake up to.

It’s wonderful, it’s free and it’s forever…and it’s for everyone! People just need to wake up to it.

That would seem to be fairly simple, especially once it has happened to you. The fullness of life you expand into, the realization of infinite possibility, is so exhilarating, liberating and profoundly simple that you can’t help but wonder why everyone doesn’t see it.

This is especially so once the grand conspiracy being foisted on humanity comes into crystal clear focus. Things really kick into high gear upon realizing fully what’s going on and why we’re here at this crucial time.

The notion that this wonderful realization should be apparent to all soon fades though, when we remember being in that entranced unconscious state ourselves, and how we thought we understood pretty well what life was all about. Check.

How Did It Happen?

Almost all of us were once encased in something that kept us apart from this simple experiential realization. That encasement was both natural and engineered. Natural in the sense that we are spirit born into a physical body, so there is a dimensional challenge right there.

The real problems arise with the cultural and societal constructs we are born into. As helpless infants for an extensive period of time after birth, we are at the complete mercy of whomever is caring for us. Although we are inherently spiritual beings, if this is not corroborated by the spirit and behavior of those around us a type of callous begins to grow to obfuscate that knowledge. Much like waking from a dream and not being able to remember it as a whole different “reality” takes over our senses.

It just happens. If people have dumbed down parents they will most likely be dumbed down as well. At least on the surface. In later years they perhaps can wake up out of that environment as many of us have done.

The War On Consciousness

Children are very often extremely spiritual, often remembering their previous state in detail. Children are born pure.  If this inherent spirituality is encouraged and the reality of our true nature reinforced, this would be a very different world.

However it rarely is. Those indigenous peoples who were not raised in engineered societies but only within simple cultural guidelines are very spiritual and natural. There is no “waking up”, they just never went to sleep. This is why these rich, conscious cultures and their shamans have been systematically decimated by the ugly Controllers. They do not want an awakened populace. Period. And these spiritually rich, unharnessed indigenous peoples carried this awareness and connectivity that the Controllers so despise.

So in their view the children of the world must be made to conform to a system as limiting and spiritually confining as possible. This will include drugging, mind control, restrictive false education in militaristic institutions, treadmill like jobs, mindless diversions and constant propaganda.

In other words, the imposed world system around us.

If you’re wondering why the global crack down is so fierce and Orwellian and is accelerating at break neck speed, this is why. The awakening is spreading like wildfire. And they know it. This is why predators like Zbigniew Brzezinski see the awakening as a threat and say things like “It is infinitely easier to kill a million people than it is to control them.” (See for yourself here.)

This the kind of monster we’re up against.

Original Sin – The Seed of the Matrix

The most clever and effective tools to control mankind are religion and belief systems. Instead of fully denying our spirituality, they acknowledge it, then channel and control it. Win the masses over by appealing to this innate drive in each of us to realize our spiritual potential and take them to another nicely decorated cell they think is freedom.

They use this tactic a lot. Just look at the infrastructure of the Catholic Church for probably the most blatant and elaborate example. The other religions and denominations aren’t far behind. Anything to “protect” us from reality and personal responsibility.

Original sin is one of the most colossal reversals of truth of all time. That and the fear of death. From start to finish these parasitic overlords lie, steal, destroy, manipulate and kill. They’re never satisfied. But that’s how they do it, reverse and confuse everything until your true orientation is almost impossible to find.

Or so they’d like to think.

That we were born in “sin” and need someone else to pay a fee to get our innocence back couldn’t be more binding, never mind exclusive of everyone who doesn’t see why they have to pay this toll for just arriving here. It’s like having to buy land and water on our own planet. Who the hell thinks they own this place?

In reality we were born pure until they put their filthy matrix trip on us. Even then they will never conquer our indomitable conscious spirit.

Shill Alert

If You Can’t Beat ‘em, Lead ‘em

Who can you trust in this day and age, even with the internet communication and information revolution? It’s obvious the PTBs will try to subvert or nullify the Truth movement, or whatever you want to call it. They must think we’re naive dolts like the asleeple and just awaiting their fascist harvesting combine. Quite the arrogant disconnect there, when their machinations are so obvious to the rest of us.

But that makes sense, when they live in a lower density mind trap and can’t even conceive of our state of consciousness.

Overall there’s a lot to be wary of. And that’s a healthy attitude. Am I paranoid? Damn straight I am. They are after us. Reminds me of Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Most Dangerous Game” where the ultimate hunt for the gamesman is a human being. That’s their mindset.

I Don’t Believe in Believing

When it comes down to it, don’t believe anyone. Belief is a form of spiritual weakness. Faith or knowledge is a whole different animal, but belief will get you in trouble. Pursue until you are fully convinced. Sometimes it takes some doing, many times you just know something in your heart to be true. That’s not a belief, that’s knowing. That is where we derive our power, our happiness, our effectiveness.

Belief will have you living in vain, vain repetitive prayers or rituals, vain longings for what you desire as you await the graces of some deity; vain hopes for things that could be realized through knowing affirmation. Even the quantum physicists know better. What we intend and focus our attention on becomes manifest.

Our knowing creates our world.

I tell people all the time to not believe me or take my word for it. People need to find out for themselves. That’s what’s wrong with the world today. Everyone just blindly follows the dictates of the matrix. What choices they do make are within a carefully contained compartment, giving the illusion of freedom.

I’m just sharing my take and if it resonates or helps people on their way, great. People need to get their own knowledge and perspective. I just want to help turn over a few stones as I’m learning myself and stir people up a bit and maybe inspire and spur them to action to free themselves and others.

If someone thinks I’m full of crap that’s fine with me. They go their way and I go mine. But let’s at least acknowledge the sanctity of having the freedom to each pursue and learn for ourselves.

I like it when people challenge anything, as long as it’s constructive and in a spirit of wanting to learn and find the truth of the matter. When someone shoves their program too hard or it’s for self justification or aggrandizement watch out. We all get out of it sometimes but when there’s a regular pattern we have a problem. But even then, take the good stuff and leave the rest. You’ll usually find yourself looking at other sources naturally and leaving the questionables behind.

psyops

Truth Psy-Ops

The Truth community or alternative research community is already infiltrated, you just know it is by simple logic. The PTB’s motto is to lead the opposition, that’s how to control it. So you know they are amongst the places we all visit for information trying to mislead and misinform. Some are obvious like the politicized bullshit or obvious religiously oriented propaganda. Some aren’t that easy to spot, much like these new computer viruses that appear and disappear.

With real conscious awareness comes discernment. We need to listen with our ears and minds, but most of all with our hearts.

I can’t say I know for sure who’s who myself but you can usually sniff them out. For example, there are some who’ve captured the so-called “patriots’” attention with mountains of exposes and angry rhetoric and most don’t have a clue where they’re being led and what a diversion it potentially is. Even some of the alternative health sites have some very questionable viewpoints and allegiances. The information in these compromised outlets is mostly bang on, otherwise it wouldn’t work. But there are usually major gaps missing from the full Truth, or it’s caged in a structured paradigm that by definition is limiting and will only land us in new versions of the same problems.

Eventually, partial or adulterated truth  leads nowhere compared to the full truth. Worse yet, disinfo and fear based based information is designed to bring on the much desired engineered slaughter of those who don’t fully wake up.

Maybe it’s all karmic and what has to happen with people getting waylaid by partial truths, I don’t know. I do know what my path is and it’s not based on a destination or outcome. The path is what I’m doing and living every day, and I’m an extremely grateful and happy person.  I did have to go through several major life changes to find the full “Now” way of life, which I feel I’m still just learning about and at childhood stage which I’m very comfortable with. In fact I feel I know less all the time. The wonderful mystery of it all just gets more fantastic and I’m learning to just let go and enjoy it instead of trying to figure everything out.

Funny thing is, the more you do that the more wonderful things just come at you.

Like many of you reading this, I couldn’t help keeping on until everything became clear. It’s very humbling to wake up, everything is just so so wonderfully clear. But it’s a massive responsibility at the same time. If we don’t manifest and utilize this awareness, it will fade and many will suffer.

Therein lies the catch.

The Religious and Belief System Diversions

The NWO is a spiritual model most of all. They want control and ultimately the spiritual is supreme and they know that. While they don’t have the conscious awareness and wonderful empathy we have, they do operate on a spiritual level, just a different frequency. The New World Order includes a new world religion, and they’re warming up to it.

There’s a plethora of disinfo tools laced into the alternative spirituality arena. If it disempowers, it’s wrong. If it directs your allegiance, it’s wrong. If it robs you of your sovereignty, it’s wrong. If it’s dogmatic and hierarchical, it’s wrong.  Most lies and lying systems have all of those traits, while other aspects are more subtle. There are other attributes but to me the ones above are the most prominent.

The so called New Age Movement is rife with phony baloney trips, messiahs and deliverance doctrines. Many will be tempted to rest their weary minds and park in any one of these false peace parking spaces and expect someone to cover for them.

Walk on your own two feet. There’s nothing more empowering and liberating.

We have to understand there are plenty of way-stations, indefinite stopovers, sidetracks and diversions on our path to fulness. For these psychopathic control freaks to try to hijack this awakening in every way possible is clearly a priority for our continued subjugation.

The point is to get past them, and not fall for their mind candy and rhetoric, no matter how appealing. We are divine in our entirety and do not need some kind of system or group identity other than Love and Truth. Sure, groups will form as action or fellowship gatherings, but when the symptoms start appearing it is probably time to split, or enlighten those around you. Until we have a clear, consciously aware picture of what’s going on and our real situation, shortsighted actions are just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

So, hijack the awakening? Let them try to  put out the light of the sun and stop the other stars from shining while they’re at it. What fools.

Meanwhile, keep an eye out for these maniacs.  They’re getting more desperate by the day. These psychotic parasites are on the loose. We need to be smart and on our toes.

And keep the light on. Those in the approaching darkness will be needing it.

Much love always, Zen

Illuminati Strategy – “Inventing Danger”

by Henry Makow Ph.D.

After the Boston Marathon “terror” attack Monday, I repost this timely 2002 reminder that the Israeli government attacked and killed Israelis in “terror attacks” designed to create the appearance of an external enemy, and justify aggression. This strategy is being pursued in the US today to create a climate of fear leading to a police state. Illuminati Zionists control DHS.

Until recently, I accepted Israel’s self-image as a beleaguered, peace-loving nation in a sea of bloodthirsty Arabs. The idea that this tiny state had imperialist designs seemed ludicrous.
But what if, unknown to most people, including Israelis, the world’s power elite was using Israel to advance their plan for New World Order? What if Israel’s role were to colonize the Middle East, and to become the seat of the World Government & Religion? “Israel’s Sacred Terrorism” (1980) by Livia Rokach, a 63-page on line monograph suggests that this bizarre scenario may not be so preposterous.

Rokach’s monograph is based on revelations from the personal diary of Moshe Sharett, who was Israeli’s first Foreign Minister from 1948-1956, and Prime Minister from 1954-1956.

According to this diary, which the Israelis tried to suppress, Israel’s image of vulnerability was a ruse. Israel has always planned to become the dominant power in the region, and “invented dangers” in order to dupe its citizens and provoke wars.

In his diary, Sharett quotes a conversation with Army Chief of Staff Moshe Dayan in May 1955:

“We face no danger at all of an Arab advantage of force for the next 8-10 years…Reprisal actions which we couldn’t carry out if we were tied to a security pact are our vital lymph…they make it possible for us to maintain a high level of tension in our population and in the army. Without these actions we would have ceased to be a combative people… ”
Sharett concludes: “The state…. must see the sword as the main if not the only, instrument with which to keep its morale high and to retain its moral tension. Toward this end it may — no it MUST — invent dangers, and to do this it must adopt the method of provocation and revenge…. And above all, let us hope for a new war with the Arab countries so that we may finally get rid of our troubles and acquire our space.” (41, emphasis mine)

“COVERT AGGRESSION”

This policy of “reprisals” or “provocation and revenge” was also called “covert aggression.” The U.S. “war on terror” is a continuation of it. Essentially it involves disguising a policy of aggression as retaliation for sham provocations.

For example, Israeli patrols would cross the border to attack Jordanians or Egyptians, and then claim the actions took place in Israel. Once attacked, the army pursued the “aggressors” into enemy territory and wreaked havoc. Ariel Sharon was the leader of a squad (“Unit 101”) that specialized in these murderous forays. His 1953 raid on the Jordanian village of Kibiyah killed dozens of civilians. (30)

In March 1954, an Israeli bus travelling between Eilat and Beersheba was attacked and 10 passengers were killed. The UN armistice Commissioner, a Col. Henderson said, “from the testimonies of the survivors, it is not proved that all the murderers were Arabs.” He attributed the attack to “terrorists intent on increasing the tensions in the area.” (28) Thereupon the Israelis left the Armistice Commission in protest.

In June-July 1954 an Israeli terrorist squad blew up many British and American institutions in Cairo in an attempt to sour relations between the Arabs and the West. Dubbed the “Levon Affair,” possibly this was a precursor to the attack on the World Trade Centre.

From the point of view of “covert aggression”, if terrorism didn’t exist, Israel would have to create it. In some instances, the terrorists are described as “white.” Remember the sniper who killed 10 Israeli reservists at a checkpoint? If he were Arab, wouldn’t he have struck again?

Israeli commentators lament that Israel is not a democracy. They say its security establishment has hijacked the country. One pundit remarked, “Israel is not a state with an army, but an army with an affiliated state.” They also lament that a culture of corruption, brutality and immorality pervades the army. See Ran Ha-Cohen, “Israeli Elections. So What”

I believe the Illuminati controls Israel’s security establishment.

WHO IS THE ILLUMINATI?

The world’s wealthiest families have more in common with each other than they do with humanity. From their perspective, we are “useless eaters.” In the guise of “globalism,” they plan to increase and consolidate their wealth and power, and reduce everyone else’s.

The heart of the Illuminati’s power is the banking and oil cartels, (Rothschild, Rockefeller) but it includes many interlocking cartels like media, pharmaceuticals, defence, illegal drugs and prostitution. It operates through the world’s intelligence agencies, and groups like the Council on Foreign relations, which grooms all US leaders.

Esoterically, the Illuminati is a secret society within another secret society, the Freemasons who are dedicated to sacrificing mankind to Lucifer.

All of this sounds fantastic because it is kept out of the media and education systems, which are mental caretakers in an invisible asylum.

Recently, Americans have been recruited to do the grunt work of subjugating Islam. This is not the first time the Illuminati has used the U.S. in this fashion. America was embroiled in World War One to free a million British soldiers to conquer Palestine for the Zionists. In the Second World War, the U.S. saved Communist Russia’s bacon. Both Communism and Zionism are creations and instruments of the central bankers.

THE USES OF ANTISEMITISM

The Illuminati has always used anti Semitism to trick Jews into advancing its nefarious goals.

In the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” the speaker confesses the illuminati has “wiped out every kind of rule except our own.” Nevertheless it allows attacks on its plan for world domination in order to create anti Semitism. “Anti Semitism is indispensable to us for the management of our lesser brethren.” (9-2)

From childhood Jews are taught that they are disliked for no rational reason and Israel is insurance against another holocaust. This attitude dehumanizes their opponents and obviates the need for genuine self-criticism. Often the question is not, is something true or false? Right or wrong? But, “Is it good for the Jews?”

Traumatizing people and convincing them that irrational fiends threaten their survival is an effective form of mind control. Such people will throw morality and reason to the wind and, if necessary, become savage, mindless killers themselves. They are easily exploited by forces that may not be Jewish at all, that may be anti Semitic, and plot their destruction.

Now the Illuminati is using the same tactic on Americans. The Mossad’s fingerprints are all over 9-11. Apparently, Israel’s Zim Container Lines moved their 200-man office out of the WTC the week before and no Israelis died in the attack. Seven of the supposed Arab “hijackers” seem to be alive.

If Osama bin Laden didn’t exist, the United States and Britain would have created him. Osama may be genuine but there is evidence that he has received money from the British MI-6 as recently as 1996. According to the French daily Le Figaro, Ben Laden met with the CIA station chief in Dubai in July 2001. He serves the purpose of those inciting a bogus “clash of civilizations.”

In the domestic sphere, the persecution of Jews has become a cultural paradigm. Lately, women and gays are the Jews, taught they’re oppressed by heterosexuality, and homosexuality is normal. . Millions of lives are being ruined. The Illuminati’s hidden agenda is to destroy society’s immune system (its ability to resist totalitarianism) by attacking its red blood cell, the nuclear family.

In conclusion, “covert aggression” is the primary means by which the Illuminati enacts its long-term plan. Americans have been incited to become oppressors by a phoney Muslim threat. Unaware of what’s done in their name. Americans are now like Jews asking, “Why do they hate us?”

Secretary of State John Kerry Blackmails China over North Korea

In meetings with Chinese leaders last weekend, US Secretary of State John Kerry engaged in a barely disguised form of blackmail to pressure Beijing to use “all options” to force its ally North Korea to dismantle its nuclear programs and destroy its nuclear weapons. Impoverished North Korea is completely dependent on China for vital imports, including oil and economic aid.

In recent weeks, Washington has aggressively ratcheted up tensions on the Korean Peninsula following North Korea’s third nuclear test in February. As well as flying nuclear capable B-2 and B-52 strategic bombers to South Korea, the US has bolstered anti-missile ballistic systems in Alaska and Guam, and moved two Aegis-class destroyers, equipped with anti-missile defences, closer to Korean waters.

Beijing has in the past protested against the build-up of US anti-ballistic missile systems in the Asia-Pacific region, knowing that China is the primary target. Speaking in Seoul before arriving in Beijing, Kerry made clear that the US would continue to deploy such weapons, unless Beijing “put some teeth” into forcing North Korea to denuclearise.

After meeting with Chinese leaders, Kerry said the discussion had included “why we have taken the steps that we have taken” in missile defence. “Now obviously if the threat disappears—i.e. North Korea denuclearises—the same imperative does not exist at that point of time for us to have that kind of robust forward leaning posture of defence,” he said.

While the US has no intention of dismantling its anti-missile systems in the region, Kerry’s arm-twisting appears to have produced some results. For Beijing, the latest Korean crisis has intensified its dilemma over Pyongyang. If China is unable to rein in its ally, the US, as well as Japan and South Korea, will exploit the situation to justify an ongoing military expansion. However, if Beijing enforces an economic blockade of North Korea, it could lead to acute political and social turmoil on China’s northern borders.

Kerry provided no details of his meetings with Chinese leaders, but did tell reporters: “I can assure you that we left no option off the table and we had a full discussion about what the possibilities might be.” The reference to “all options” implies that military, as well as economic threats, were discussed.

The sinister implications of Kerry’s comments were underlined by his announcement that further talks with Chinese officials would take place, involving US Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Martin Dempsey and US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns.

Beijing’s willingness to accommodate the Obama administration was underlined by the venue. Symbolically, Kerry’s meeting with China’s top official in charge of foreign affairs, State Councillor Yang Jiechi, took place in Beijing’s Diaoyutai State Guest House, the site of US President Richard Nixon’s 1972 visit to China, when the two countries sealed a bloc against the former Soviet Union.

Yang said both the US and China supported the goal of denuclearising the Korean peninsula. He also called for a return to the six-party talks, involving US, China, Japan, Russia and the two Koreas, that collapsed in 2008 after the Bush administration provocatively sought to alter a deal reached on North Korea’s nuclear programs. The Obama administration has never sought to restart the talks.

No doubt, sharp divisions still exist within the Chinese leadership over how to respond to Washington’s increasing diplomatic and strategic pressure, which is not limited to North Korea, and extends over a range of economic and geo-strategic issues.

After meeting President Xi Jinping, Kerry declared at their joint press conference that he had called for China to cooperate with the US on “some very challenging issues”. These included “issues on the Korean peninsula”, Iran’s nuclear program, Syria and the Middle East at large, as well as the worsening global economic crisis. Kerry did not elaborate on the Chinese leader’s response, except to describe the discussion as “forward-looking”.

Xi made no mention of North Korea in his remarks, insisting that relations between the US and China were at “a new historical stage and got off to a good start”. He declared that both countries should resolve their differences based on “respecting each other’s core interests”.

The official Xinhua news agency was more forceful, criticising the US for “fanning the flames” on the Korean peninsula. “It keeps sending more fighters, bombers and missile defence ships to the waters of East Asia and carrying out massive military drills with Asian allies in a dramatic display of pre-emptive power,” it warned.

The Chinese defence ministry has denied reports of “large-scale troop movements” near the Chinese-North Korea border. But the state media reported last week that live-fire exercises by Chinese forces in the region, involving tanks and armoured vehicles, as well as civilian air raid drills, had taken place. This indicates that China is clearly worried about a possible outbreak of war on the Korean Peninsula.

During the last stop of his Asian tour, Kerry made clear in Tokyo that the US would keep the pressure on China. He insisted that the additional missile defence capacity ordered by Obama recently would continue until “the peninsula de-nuclearised”.

At the heart of the US “pivot” is the strengthening of military alliances and strategic partnerships throughout Asia, especially with Japan, South Korea, Australia and India. In Tokyo, Kerry reassured the Japanese government that the US-Japan military alliance had “never really been stronger than it is today” and that Washington was “committed to the defence of Japan”.

Strong US backing has only encouraged its allies to take a tougher stance against China across the region. Before the latest Korean crisis, the final months of 2012 were dominated by a dangerous standoff between Japan and China over disputed islands in the East China Sea. In April 2012, a confrontation flared up between the Philippines and China over the contested Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea.

Both Japan and the Philippines have bought into the Korean crisis. In remarks directed at China, the right-wing Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe yesterday called on the international community “to make North Korea understand that the situation will become progressively severe.” The Philippine foreign and defence ministers provocatively declared that if war broke out on the Korean Peninsula, the US would be allowed to use Philippine bases.

While the Obama administration is exploiting the Korean crisis to extract concessions from China, it is also leaving the door open to a US accommodation with North Korea—if it falls into line with US demands. Kerry declared in Tokyo that he would be willing to consider direct talks with North Korea at the appropriate moment, but added: “There are standards we need to reach to get to negotiations.”

Meet the Man Called ‘Crazy’ By Doctors Who Cured His Own Colon Cancer

Telling your mainstream medical doctor that you’d like to forfeit chemotherapy and instead adopt an organic lifestyle full of juicing and raw nutrition to treat your own cancer could lead him or her to label you as ‘insane’, but it could also save your life. In the case of one man with stage 3 colon cancer given a 60% chance to live for a maximum of five more years under chemotherapy, he decided to forfeit chemo and venture into a natural health lifestyle only to be more than satisfied 9 years later.

At 26 years of age, Chris faced a nightmare scenario that he simply did not know how to face. After a visit to the oncologist, Chris was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer — and it had spread far beyond the colon itself. In addition to carrying a tumor the size of a golf ball in his large intestine that was continuing to grow, Chris’ cancer had spread to his lymph nodes. And it all happened two weeks before Chris was preparing to celebrate Christmas with his family.

This is the point in which mainstream doctors pressure patients into immediate and expensive action, decrying ‘alternative’ therapies as baseless and downright dangerous. For Chris, he faced the exact same scenario. At first, he succumbed to the wishes of the doctor and decided to go in for surgery.

Read: Chinese Plant Compound Wipes out Cancer in 40 Days, Says New Research

He was then given a 60% chance to experience up to 5 years more of his life, a life which included his wife and children. This is particularly strange as chemotherapy is not generally even used for such cancers, but for whatever reason Chris’ doctor was pursuing it. At this point, Chris had enough. Doing his own research into the reality behind cancer’s formation and alternative options, Chris told his doctor that he was going to give the route of natural health a chance. A route that puts nutrition and lifestyle far ahead of medical intervention, documenting how nutrition is actually at the heart of virtually all disease.

This was simply unacceptable to Chris’ oncologist, who at one point had told him it really didn’t matter what he ate after his initial surgery (and he was actually served Sloppy Joe after the surgery). Chris was labeled as a nutjob by the doctor, who discounted the natural route as nothing more than a joke. Because after all, diet plays no role in the health of the body, right?

Nine years later, Chris is now alive and healthy with his wife and two daughters thanks to his rigorous natural health lifestyle and raw food diet. His story has been seen by thousands on Youtube, and most recently has gone viral on the GreenMedInfoTV website. In his own words from his blog:

“The human body is intelligently designed to heal itself, and given the proper nutrients and care, it will. Despite what doctors may have told you, you have options. You have the power to transform your health. If I did it, you can too!”

Who is this person? Individual seen walking on roof directly overhead as bomb goes off at Boston Marathon

A picture posted on Twitter shows an individual walking on the roof directly overlooking one of the blasts at the Boston Marathon.

The picture of the mystery person was posted shortly after the terror attack and raises the eerily possibility that one of the perpetrators watched as the carnage was unleashed.

Law-enforcement sources told the New York Post that a 20-year-old Saudi man was detained at a Boston hospital.

Boston marathon bombing happened on same day as ‘controlled explosion’ drill by Boston bomb squad

Mike Adams
Natural News

Two bombs have rocked the streets of Boston and reportedly injured 22 marathon runners (two have reportedly died). It’s too early to know the cause of these explosions, but you can rest assured both the state and federal government will try to use this tragic event to blame whatever convenient enemies are most advantageous for the government.

No one has yet stepped forward to claim responsibility for the bombs, and the fact that no firearms were used in the attack may indicate this was NOT part of a false flag effort by the government to try to blame gun owners. (But it’s still way too early to tell…)

Here at Natural News, we are horrified at this loss of innocent life, and we are praying for the victims of this bombing as well as their families.

Bomb squad was running “controlled explosion” on the same day

What’s not yet being reported by the mainstream media is that a “controlled explosion” was under way on the same day as the marathon explosion.

As the Boston Globe tweeted today, “Officials: There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as part of bomb squad activities.”

Some people believe this explosion might have been part of the demolition of another bomb. It seems unlikely, however, that a bomb at the library, one mile away, could be so quickly located and rigged to be exploded by the bomb squad in less than one hour following the initial explosions at the marathon.

Furthermore, according to Local15TV.com, a University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach said there were bomb-sniffing dogs at both the start and finish lines, long before any explosions went off. He said:

“They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about. It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.

Bloomberg news is now saying, “This is very likely a terrorist attack.”

The question is: Who are the terrorists? It’s far too early to take an informed guess on all this. However, it is indisputable that the FBI is actively engaged in carrying out bomb plots in the United States, then halting them at the last minute to “catch the terrorists.” This fact has been covered by the New York Times, among other publications.

FBI ‘entrapment’ tactics questioned in web of phony terror plots and paid informants
.

Keep in mind I am in no way blaming the FBI for this. Most men and women who work with the FBI are upstanding citizens who would be appalled at such acts. But it is theoretically possible that one of the FBI’s many “terror plots” went too far and turned into a live bomb instead of a dud followed by an arrest for “domestic terrorism.”

For the record, the explosions seemed relatively small for a false flag, and most false flags target children in order to maximize the emotional leverage after the event. That these explosions did not target children is yet more evidence that it may not have been a false flag at all.

Either way, terrorism always works in the favor of the state. It makes presidents look presidential, and it gives the government an excuse to crack down on civil liberties all across the country.

Be wary of who ultimately gets blamed for this, especially if it’s a veteran or patriot.

Science discovers ‘magic trick’ that causes partisan voters to switch parties

Researchers in Sweden have discovered a clever way to trick partisan voters into switching parties, through the application of a simple survey and some slight of hand.

Exploiting a known defect in human psychology called “choice blindness,” researchers writing for the journal PLoS One got 162 voters to fill out surveys pinpointing their views on key issues like taxes and energy, then covertly switched the survey with one created to show the exact opposite answers. Participants were then confronted on why they gave the faux responses.

What the researchers found is astonishing: A whopping 92 percent of respondents did not catch that their answers were manipulated, and only 22 percent of the switched answers were noticed by participants. During questioning after the survey, 10 percent of the subjects actually switched their preference in political party, while another 19 percent of previously partisan voters said they’d become undecided.

Since 18 percent of the participants went into the study saying they were undecided to begin with, researchers noted that their findings suggest a full 47 percent were open to changing their vote. They also noted their findings seem to run contrary to the political wisdom of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R), who suggested months before election day that 47 percent of the country had already ruled him out.

Researchers added that they found “no connection between gender, age, level of political engagement, overall political certainty, or initial political affiliation, in relation to magnitude of change in voting intention.”

“It’s a dramatic demonstration of the potential flexibility that is there,” lead researcher Lars Hall, from Lund University, told the scientific publication Nature. “Unfortunately I don’t know how to tap into that flexibility without the magic trick. If I did I wouldn’t be talking to you. I’d be selling my secret to Hillary Clinton or [Republican New Jersey governor] Chris Christie. Or both.”

Hall’s previous research into choice blindness has revealed that the flaw can lead to many inconsistencies in what humans say they find attractive in mates, what moral values people think they hold most dear, and which products people believe they prefer at the supermarket. A similar “magic trick” was employed in all three scenarios, finding less than one third of participants in each study realized their stated preferences were manipulated to reflect something else entirely.

Comment from Red Ice Creations: Since they tested this premise during the most recent general election in Sweden, no one should be surprised that the people questioned doesn’t defend their “opinion,” since many doesn’t have one. All the parties are so close and the political differences barley noticeable.

It’s hilarious that there is an assumption presented in the paper that there is a proper political spectrum in Sweden. “Do you want a big left wing government or do you want even bigger left of left wing government?”

“So, do you want a lot of tax increases …or even more!”

What it shows is that people are not conscious, aware or even present in their body to realize that someone has made a switch on them.

Also note that the focus in these articles (also the one linked up at nature.com) is on how to turn conservatives into liberals. Although Lars Hall, from Lund University Cognitive Science jokingly says that he’d like to sell the “secret” to any politician.

These results is indicative of the fact that people don’t know their own political opinions, own choices or moral standing and that it can be swayed with very simple means.

Politics IS the magic trick.

I think the bigger question to answer here is: do Swedish researchers have too much on their hands .. and how much government money do they get to develop these mind manipulation techniques?

Officials ‘can’t account for’ $700 million in Katrina aid

A new report by the Department of Housing and Urban Development paints a grim picture of a program that was supposed to help Louisiana’s Katrina victims protect their homes from future storms – to the tune of $700 million in misplaced taxpayer money.

The relief program, which disbursed grants of up to $30,000 to more than 24,000 homeowners, was supposed to be used to elevate homes and protect property in areas vulnerable to storm surges. Instead, as the report by Inspector General of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) David Montoya now shows, of the $1 billion earmarked for home improvements, homeowners seem to have spent a striking majority – at least $700 million – on anything but.

According to Montoya, the program’s intent seems to have been completely ignored by most Louisiana residents who received HUD grants:

We have $700 million that we can’t account for and that certainly did not go to elevating homes and preventing future damage from storms,” Montoya said in an interview to ABC.

This is money we can’t afford to lose. This is money that we don’t get back and this is money that we can’t put toward other disaster victims,” he added.

Now, HUD is putting pressure on the State of Louisiana to recover the disbursed grants, though Montoya has stated that chances officials will get the money back are slim to none. Still, according to the Inspector General’s report, homeowners who received HUD assistance for home elevation are legally on the hook for completing the work:

The Elevation Incentive agreement specifically stated that if the homeowner did not elevate his or her home within 3 years of the signed agreement, the owner must repay the full grant amount to the State. The grant amounts awarded to the eligible homeowners were disbursed in one lump sum directly to the homeowner upon signing the binding agreement.”

As of late April 2012, only 18 of the homeowners who were “noncompliant” with the agreement had returned their grant money, at least in part, for a total of $200,900. Meanwhile $119.2 million had actually been used for home elevations – a less than one fifth of the total sum that has “gone missing.”

According to Pat Forbes, who oversees disaster recovery for Louisiana, local authorities are “working aggressively” to get the remaining 19,000 homeowners to comply with the program. Meanwhile, members of Congress, such as Senator Tom Coburn, say the failure of the program should be a warning for other efforts currently underway, such as Hurricane Sandy relief.

According to Montoya, the home elevation project may end up being a costly lesson for HUD.

Before you pay out funding such as this, up to $30,000 with a promise to do something, we’d like to see the disbursement of these funds happen after the projects are done,” said Montoya during an ABC interview.

Details on how homeowners in storm-stricken, low-income areas would initially pay for such repairs have been left to the imagination.
