Monsanto’s Dirty Dozen

When you take a moment to reflect on the history of product development at Monsanto, what do you find? Here are twelve products that Monsanto has brought to market. See if you can spot the pattern…

#1 – Saccharin

Did you know Monsanto got started because of artificial sweetener? John Francisco Queeny founded Monsanto Chemical Works in St. Louis, Missouri with the goal of producing saccharin for Coca-Cola. In stark contrast to its sweet beginnings, multiple studies have shown that saccharin causes cancer in test rats and mice. Meanwhile six human studies, including one done by the National Cancer Institute, showed that consuming artificial sweeteners such as saccharin and cyclamate resulted in bladder cancer. Better living does not always come through chemicals…

#2 – PCBs

During the early 1920s, Monsanto began expanding their chemical production into polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) to produce coolant fluids for electrical transformers, capacitors, and electric motors. Thirty years later, toxicity tests began reporting serious health affects from PCBs, including organ damage in every laboratory rat exposed to the chemical, with death occurring in 1 out of 2. Monsanto insisted the studies were all flawed, had the scientists’ reputations called into question, and kept on making the stuff.

After another THREE decades of studies, the truth could no longer be contained: the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a report citing PCBs as the cause of cancer in animals, with additional evidence that they can cause cancer in humans. Additional peer-reviewed health studies showed a causal link between exposure to PCBs and non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, a frequently fatal form of cancer. In 1979, the United States Congress recognized PCBs as a significant environmental toxin and persistent organic pollutant. and banned its production in the U.S. By then Monsanto already had manufacturing plants abroad, so they weren’t entirely stopped until the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants banned PCBs globally in 2001.

And that’s when Monsanto’s duplicity was uncovered: internal company memos from the mid 1960s surfaced, proving that Monsanto had known about dangers of PCBs from early on.

In 2003, Monsanto paid out over $600 million to residents of Anniston, Alabama, who experienced severe health problems including liver disease, neurological disorders and cancer after being exposed to PCBs — more than double the payoff that was awarded in the case against Pacific Gas & Electric made famous by the movie “Erin Brockovich.”

And yet the damage persists: nearly 30 years after PCBs have been banned from the U.S., they are still showing up in the blood of pregnant women, as reported in a 2011 study by the University of California San Francisco.

#3 – Polystyrene

In 1941, Monsanto began focusing on plastics and synthetic polystyrene, which is still widely used in food packaging and ranked 5th in the EPA’s 1980s listing of chemicals whose production generates the most total hazardous waste.

#4 – Atom bomb and nuclear weapons

Monsanto ran the research laboratory and test site for the Manhattan Project during the early 1940s, resulting in the development of the first nuclear weapons, as well as the deadliest industrial accident in U.S. history.

#5 – DDT

In 1944, Monsanto became one of the first manufacturers of the insecticide DDT to combat malaria-transmitting mosquitoes. Despite decades of Monsanto propaganda insisting that DDT was safe, the true effects of DDT’s toxicity were at last confirmed through outside research and in 1972, DDT was banned throughout the U.S.

#6 – Dioxin

In 1945, Monsanto began promoting the use of chemical pesticides in agriculture with the manufacture of the herbicide 2,4,5-T (one of the precursors to Agent Orange), containing dioxin. Dioxins are a group of chemically-related compounds that since become known as one of the “Dirty Dozen” — persistent environmental pollutants that accumulate in the food chain, mainly in the fatty tissue of animals. In the decades since it was first developed, Monsanto has been accused of covering up or failing to report dioxin contamination in a wide range of its products.

#7 – Agent Orange

During the early 1960s, Monsanto was one of the two primary manufacturers of Agent Orange, an herbicide / defoliant used for chemical warfare during the Vietnam War. Except Monsanto’s formula had dioxin levels many times higher than the Agent Orange produced by Dow Chemicals, the other manufacturer.

As a result of the use of Agent Orange, Vietnam estimates that over 400,000 people were killed or maimed, 500,000 children were born with birth defects, and up to 1 million people were disabled or suffered from health problems—not to mention the far-reaching impact it had on the health of over 3 million American troops and their offspring.

Internal Monsanto memos show that Monsanto knew of the problems of dioxin contamination of Agent Orange when it sold it to the U.S. government for use in Vietnam. Despite the widespread health impact, Monsanto and Dow were allowed to appeal for and receive financial protection from the U.S. government against veterans seeking compensation for their exposure to Agent Orange.

In 2012, a long 50 years after Agent Orange was deployed, the clean-up effort has finally begun. Yet the legacy of Agent Orange, and successive generations of body deformities, will remain in orphanages throughout VietNam for decades to come.

(Think that can’t happen here? Two crops were recently genetically engineered to withstand a weedkiller made with Agent Orange’s primary ingredient, in order to combat “super weeds” that evolved due to the excessive use of RoundUp.)

8 – Petroleum-Based Fertilizer

In 1955, Monsanto began manufacturing petroleum-based fertilizer after purchasing a major oil refinery. Petroleum-based fertilizers can kill beneficial soil micro-organisms, sterilizing the soil and creating a dependence, like an addiction, to the synthetic replacements. Not the best addiction to have, considering the rising cost and dwindling supply of oil…

#9 – RoundUp

During the early 1970s, Monsanto founded their Agricultural Chemicals division with a focus on herbicides, and one herbicide in particular: RoundUp (glyphosate). Because of its ability to eradicate weeds literally overnight, RoundUp was quickly adopted by farmers. Its use increased even more when Monsanto introduced “RoundUp Ready” (glyphosate-resistant) crops, enabling farmers to saturate the entire field with weedkiller without killing the crops.

While glyphosate has been approved by regulatory bodies worldwide and is widely used, concerns about its effects on humans and the environment persist. RoundUp has been found in samples of groundwater, soil, streams and air throughout the Midwest U.S., and increasingly in food. It has been linked to decreasing bee populations, butterfly mortality, and the proliferation of superweeds. Studies in rats have shown consistently negative health impacts ranging from tumors, altered organ function, and infertility, to cancer and premature death. #10 – Aspartame (NutraSweet / Equal)

An accidental discovery during research on gastrointestinal hormones resulted in a uniquely sweet chemical: aspartame. During the clinical trials conducted on 7 infant monkeys as part of aspartame’s application for FDA approval, 1 monkey died and 5 other monkeys had grand mal seizures—yet somehow aspartame was still approved by the FDA in 1974. In 1985, Monsanto acquired the company responsible for aspartame’s manufacture (G.D. Searle) and began marketing the product as NutraSweet. Twenty years later, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released a report listing 94 health issues caused by aspartame. (Watch a quick video here.)

#11 – Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH)

This genetically modified hormone was developed by Monsanto to be injected into dairy cows to produce more milk. Cows subjected to rBGH suffer excruciating pain due to swollen udders and mastitis, and the pus from the resulting infection enters the milk supply requiring the use of additional antibiotics. rBGH milk has been linked to breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer in humans.

#12 – Genetically Modified Crops / GMOs

In the early 1990s, Monsanto began gene-splicing corn, cotton, soy, and canola with DNA from a foreign source to achieve one of two traits: an internally-generated pesticide, or an internal resistance to Monsanto’s weedkiller RoundUp. Despite decades of promises that genetically engineered crops would feed the world with more nutrients, drought resistance, or yield, the majority of Monsanto’s GMO crops do one thing: sell more Monsanto’s RoundUp—an ever-rising profit as weeds continue to evolve with RoundUp resistance.

Most sobering however, is that the world is once again buying into Monsanto’s “safe” claims.

Just like the early days of PCBs, DDT, Agent Orange, Monsanto has successfully fooled the general public and regulatory agencies into believing that RoundUp, and the genetically modified crops that help sell RoundUp, are “safe.”

Except Monsanto has learned a thing or two in the past 100+ years of defending its dirty products: these days, when a new study proving the negative health or environmental impacts of GMOs emerges, Monsanto attacks the study and its scientist(s) by flooding the media with counter claims from “independent” organizations, scientists, industry associations, blogs, sponsored social media, and articles by “private” public relations firms—all founded, funded and maintained by Monsanto. Unfortunately, few of us take the time to trace the members, founders, and relationships of these seemingly valid sources back to their little Monsanto secret.

Fooling the FDA required a slightly different approach: click on the below chart to see how many former Monsanto VPs and legal counsel are now holding positions with the FDA. And don’t forget Clarence Thomas, former Monsanto attorney who is now a Supreme Court Justice, ruling in favor of Monsanto in every case brought before him.

A Baker’s Dozen: #13 – Terminator Seeds

Monsanto’s latest technology produces sterile grains unable to germinate, forcing farmers to buy seeds from Monsanto year after year, rather than save and reuse the seeds from their harvest as they’ve been doing throughout centuries. To make matters worse, terminators can cross-pollinate and contaminate local non-sterile crops, which endanger the future seed supply, and thus ensures eventual control of the world’s food supply by Monsanto and the GM industry.

What’s the Result of our Monsanto Legacy?

More than 85% of the processed food you consume every day has Monsanto’s GMOs inside, and residues of their RoundUp pesticide outside. But it’s not just processed food—fresh fruit and vegetables are next: genetically engineered sweet corn is already being sold at your local grocer, with apples and a host of other “natural” produce currently in field trials.

How is it that Monsanto is allowed to manipulate our food after such a dark product history? How is it they are allowed to cause such detrimental impact to our environment and our health?

According to the Organic Consumers Association, “There is a direct correlation between our genetically engineered food supply and the $2 trillion the U.S. spends annually on medical care, namely an epidemic of diet-related chronic diseases.

Instead of healthy fruits, vegetables, grains, and grass-fed animal products, U.S. factory farms and food processors produce a glut of genetically engineered junk foods that generate heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancer—all backed by farm subsidies—while organic farmers receive no such subsidies.

Monsanto’s history reflects a consistent pattern of toxic chemicals, lawsuits, and manipulated science. Is this the kind of company we want controlling our world’s food supply?

As the potential for a globally destabilizing event becomes ever more probable, many concerned Americans are starting to wonder where they’d go if the worst were to happen.

To help answer that question, we can start by identifying the areas of the country to avoid.

The following map of the United States takes into account all of the gun related deaths since the Sandy Hook school shooting. You’ll likely notice that there is one common denominator. The majority of the violence has occurred in major metropolitan areas, with some incidents spreading into outlying ex-urban and rural areas. As of this writing 2,244 people have been killed since December of 2012.

If this is the state of our nation during relative peacetime and perceived prosperity, imagine what it’ll look like in the midst of financial, economic or political turmoil.

Americans living east of the Mississippi River will likely experience the brunt of it. But anyone residing in and around any major U.S. city will, likewise, have a tough road ahead of them.

If you live in one of these red zones, you’d better plan accordingly:

As you may have guessed, the overwhelming factor in determining your chances of survival during a wide-scale regional or national emergency will be population density, a topic that has been extensively covered by Strategic Relocation specialist Joel Skousen:

…every crisis that threatens, even a local crisis, can turn exponential because of close proximity to people who cannot help themselves. Even good people panic in a crisis…

Wherever we find large groups of people, when crisis strikes we will also find the worst that mankind has to offer – rioting, looting, starvation and violence.

Survival expert James Rawles refers to them as the golden horde; the thousands of people who will be desperate for supplies, shelter and safety in the aftermath of a major catastrophe:

…there is just a thin veneer of civilization on our society. What is underneath is not pretty, and it does take much to peel away that veneer. You take your average urbanite or suburbanite and get him excessively cold, wet, tired, hungry and/or thirsty and take away his television, beer, drugs, and other pacifiers, and you will soon seen the savage within. Given the probability of the United States succumbing to any number of devastating catastrophes that may include an economic collapse, food shortages, pandemic, regional earthquakes, solar storms, or war, there is ample motivation for those with the means to do so to get out of densely populated areas of the country. Likewise, living in locales with close proximity to major thoroughfares such as interstate highway systems could pose a danger as the ‘horde’ evacuates disaster-struck areas.

For many, relocation is not possible because of job requirements or other factors. Thus, those of us who are left with no choice but to remain in populated urban or sub-urban areas, it is strongly recommended that you consider preparedness planning for staying put, or bugging in, during an emergency. It’s not the ideal scenario, but if you plan on hunkering down then you may find it advantageous to have food stores and other long-term supplies, as well as home defense plans. And, should things get so bad that you have to leave your primary residence, be sure to have evacuation plans in place.

The U.S. government is actively preparing to deal with the aftermath of many of the possible crises cited above, namely the civil unrest that will follow. Police and military units are training to deal specifically with urban scenarios because emergency services planners understand that America’s metropolitan death zones will be completely devoid of law & order.

If you’re in one of these areas, and plan on staying during a major crisis, take steps now to prepare for the inevitability of mass chaos.

Poll: Close to 1 in 3 Americans Believe in World Government and a New World Order

Survey mixes outlandish ideas with genuine conspiracies

Almost one third of Americans believe that a secretive power elite is conspiring to rule the world via an authoritarian global government, according to a new national poll.

A survey conducted by Public Policy Polling, labeled by many as a pro-Obama outfit, seems to be aimed at ascribing belief in “crazy conspiracy theories” to Republicans by mixing in real cover-ups and conspiracies with outlandish ideas.

However, despite the constant media drumbeat about the clear move towards centralization of power being a baseless conspiracy theory, the poll reveals that 28 per cent of Americans believe that “a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government, or New World Order.”

46 per cent of respondents do not believe this notion, while 25 per cent are not sure.

The poll asks a number of obviously far out questions that only people with fringe beliefs would ascribe to, such as, “Do you believe that shape-shifting reptilian people control our world by taking on human form and gaining political power to manipulate our societies, or not?” and, “Do you believe Paul McCartney actually died in a car crash in 1966 and was secretly replaced by a lookalike so The Beatles could continue, or not?”

Serious issues that should not even be considered “conspiracy theories” and have largely come to be accepted as fact are then mixed in such as, “Do you believe the Bush administration intentionally misled the public about the possibility of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to promote the Iraq War, or not?”

Shockingly, a majority of 45% to 44% do not believe that the Bush administration intentionally lied about WMD, despite the fact that the Downing Street memo revealed that Bush was intent on invading Iraq and that “the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.”

Another widely documented fact, that the CIA was instrumental in distributing crack cocaine into America’s inner cities in the 80′s to help finance CIA-backed Contras in Nicaragua, is also only accepted by 14 per cent of Americans.

Polls taken in the years after 9/11 which showed that a huge majority of Americans had questions about the 9/11 attacks now appear to be contradicted by the PPP poll, which asks, “Do you believe the United States government knowingly allowed the attacks on September 11th, 2001, to happen, or not?,” to which just 11 per cent of respondents said they did believe this notion, with 78 per cent disbelieving it.

Despite the vastness of the universe, a clear majority of Americans (47% to 29%) also do not believe that alien life exists.

A majority of 51 per cent believe that there was a wider conspiracy involved in the assassination of JFK, while 25% believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.

A jaw-dropping 28 per cent of Americans still believe that Saddam Hussein was involved in 9/11, despite this idea being overwhelmingly debunked and even admitted to be nonsense by Dick Cheney, one of the first individuals to circulate the idea.

A small minority, 5 per cent 9 per cent respectively, believe that chemtrails are being sprayed in the skies and that sodium fluoride is being added to drinking water for sinister purposes.

If anything, this poll merely underscores the fact that a majority of Americans are not well read and have little grasp of recent history.

The agency responsible for the survey, Public Policy Polling, has close links to the Democratic Party establishment and its neutrality has been questioned on numerous occasions in the past.

Indeed, when Infowars agreed a deal with PPP to conduct a poll on the Transportation Security Administration, the agency backed out at the last minute, citing how it was “uncomfortable with a lot of the content that appears on Infowars.com,” which clearly suggests that the organization allows political bias to skew its work.

The poll was subsequently accepted and conduct by Harris Interactive, which is widely renowned as one of the top polling agencies.

In America truth is offensive. If you tell the truth, you are offensive.

I am offensive. Michael Hudson is offensive. Gerald Celente is offensive. Herman Daly is offensive. Nomi Prins is offensive. Pam Martens is offensive. Chris Hedges is offensive. Chris Floyd is offensive. John Pilger is offensive. Noam Chomsky is offensive. Harvey Silverglate is offensive. Naomi Wolf is offensive. Stephen Lendman is offensive. David Ray Griffin is offensive. Ellen Brown is offensive.

Fortunately, many others are offensive. But how long before being offensive becomes
being “an enemy of the state”?

Throughout history truth tellers have suffered and court historians have prospered. It is
the same today. Gerald Celente illustrates this brilliantly in the next issue of the Trends
Journal.

Over the past 35 years I have learned this lesson as a columnist. If you tell readers
what is really going on, they want to know why you can’t be positive. Why are you telling
us that there are bad happenings that can’t be remedied? Don’t you know that God
gave Americans the power to fix all wrongs? What are you? Some kind of idiot, an anti-American, a pinko-liberal-commie? If you hate America so much, why don’t you move to Cuba, Iran or China (or to wherever the current bogyman is located)?

The ancient Greeks understood this well. In Greek mythology, Cassandra was the prophetess who no one believed despite her 100 percent record of being right. Telling the truth to Americans or to Europeans is just as expensive as telling the truth to the Greeks in ancient mythology.

In America and everywhere in the Western world or the entire world, telling the truth is
unpopular. Indeed, in the USA telling the truth has been criminalized. Look for example at Bradley Manning, held for two years in prison without bail and without a trial in violation of the US Constitution, tortured for one year of his illegal confinement in violation of US and international law, and now put on trial by corrupt prosecutors for aiding “enemies of the US” by revealing the truth, as required of him by the US military code. US soldiers are required to report war crimes. When Bradley Manning’s superiors showed themselves to be indifferent to war crimes, Manning reported the crimes via WikiLeaks. What else does a soldier with a sense of duty and a moral conscience do when the chain of command is corrupt?

Julian Assange is another example. WikiLeaks has taken up the reporting function that the Western media has abandoned. Remember, the New York Times did publish the Pentagon Papers in 1971, which undermined the lies Washington had told both to the public and to Congress to justify the costly Vietnam War. But today no newspaper or TV channel any longer accepts the responsibility to truthfully inform the public. Julian Assange stepped into the vacuum and was immediately demonized, not merely by Washington but also by left-wing and right-wing media, including Internet. It was a combination of jealousy, ignorance, and doing Washington’s bidding.

Without WikiLeaks and Assange the world would know essentially nothing. Spin from Washington, the presstitute media, and the puppet state medias would prevail. So the word went out to destroy Julian Assange.

It is amazing how many people and Internet sites obeyed Washington’s command. Assange has been so demonized that even though he has been granted political asylum by Ecuador, the British government, obeying its Washington master, refuses to allow him safe passage out of the London Ecuador Embassy. Is Assange destined to live out his life inside the Ecuador Embassy in London?

Will Assange be a replay of Cardinal Jozsef Mindszenty who on November 4, 1956, sought asylum in the US embassy in Budapest as Soviet tanks poured into Hungary to put down the anti-communist revolution? Cardinal Mindszenty lived for 15 years in the US embassy. Today it is “freedom and democracy” amerika that is copying Soviet practices during the cold war.

In contrast with “freedom and democracy” US and UK, the “authoritarian,” “communist,” “oppressive” Chinese government when confronted with Chinese dissident Chen Guangcheng’s defection to the US embassy in Beijing, let him go.

It is an upside down world when America and the British refuse to obey international law, but the Chinese communists uphold international law.

Insouciant americans are undisturbed that alleged terrorists are tortured, held indefinitely in prison without due process, and executed on the whim of some executive branch official without due process of law.

Most americans go along with unaccountable murder, torture, and detention without evidence, which proclaims their gullibility to the entire world. There has never in history been a population as unaware as americans. The world is amazed that an insouciant people became, if only for a short time, a superpower.

The world needs intelligence and leadership in order to avoid catastrophe, but america can provide neither intelligence nor leadership. America is a lost land where nuclear weapons are in the hands of those who are concerned only with their own power. Washington is the enemy of the entire world and encompasses the largest concentration of evil on the planet.

Where is the good to rise up against the evil?

There has been an increasing awareness of chemtrails in recent years. Protests have been organized, movies have been released and whistle blowers have come forward. Most significantly, former Los Angeles FBI chief Ted Gunderson made a video denouncing chemtrails shortly before his death in 2011.

The heavy spraying began in NATO countries in the late 90s, but today chemtrails are being recorded pretty much everywhere, from Russia to Brazil, South Korea to Cuba. This is a program of extraordinary scope and importance. However, while we know a chemtrail program exists, there is very little hard information on how it functions and what its goals are.

I have been researching chemtrails and, while I don’t yet have the full picture, I present this information will plug a few holes.

• Most politicians are as oblivious as we are. AC Griffin, a former CIA and NSA operative, says: ‘The monies that go into CIA projects don’t necessarily come from congressional appropriations. The congress as a whole is completely oblivious to the aerosol program. They are afraid to ask.’

People on the inside who oppose the program are punished. ‘One of the key people who designed the aerosol is now sitting in federal penitentiary. They still go to him to ask him questions.’

Griffin also revealed that former Clinton era Navy Chief of Naval Operations, Jeremy Boorda, left, was murdered because he opposed the program. Boorda was found dead in 1996 with three shotgun wounds in his chest. The authorities were quick to claim he committed suicide, and the autopsy results were never released to the public.• Commercial airliners are involved in spraying. In the very beginning, the aerosols were sprayed solely by military planes, but now the program has been expanded and commercial airliners have been outfitted with aerosol units controlled by computers and satellites. Photos provide evidence of this, like this Lufthansa jet flying over the US (below,left).In the airline industry, the operation is known as Project Cloverfield. In 2000, a high level executive at an American airline revealed his office was visited by two men from an unnamed government agency:

‘They told us that the government was going to pay our airline, along with others, to release special chemicals from commercial aircraft. When asked what the chemicals were and why we were going to spray them, they told us that information was given on a need-to-know basis and we weren’t cleared for it…We were made to sign non-disclosure forms that basically stated that we would go to prison if we told anyone what we knew.’

Delivery by commercial aircraft raises the possibility that many countries have not given consent to being sprayed, and may be unaware it’s even happening.

Weather manipulation is a daily occurrence – Chemtrails are used in conjunction with HAARP for geo-engineering (the technical term for weather control). Much is written about the ability to create disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis against an enemy, but we don’t realize that weather patterns are manipulated all the time. Scott Stevens was a TV weatherman in the US but quit his job upon realizing that this was happening on a nigh daily basis.

GAMBLING ON FOOD: ‘WEATHER DERIVATIVES”

Global warming is the cover story for the increasingly severe and bizarre weather worldwide.• Geo-engineering is used to force GMO crops on the world. Manufactured floods and droughts damage harvests and put farmers out of business.

Monsanto has the patent for GMO seeds that are drought and flood resistant, as well as resistant to the poisonous effects of aluminum, one of the key metals in chemtrails. Any farmer who refuses to grow GMO crops will not be able to guarantee a good harvest and will go out of business.
Even worse, Monsanto’s end game is to force what are termed ‘Terminator’ seeds on farmers worldwide. These crops don’t produce seeds, meaning the farmer has to buy new seeds from Monsanto every planting season!

• Weather Derivatives are chemtrail insurance. – You may wonder how the big players protect their interests from weather warfare. Say, how does George Soros, who owns thousands of acres of farmland in America, protect his profits from engineered drought?

Companies use financial instruments to hedge against risk of adverse weather conditions. They first appeared in the late-nineties, the same time the heavy spraying started! Michael Agne, a trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, explains how they work:’You’re betting there’s going to be a weather disaster within a particular time-frame, at a particular location, and when it does happen there’s going to be a big pay-off.’ Obviously, insiders can make big bucks making bets based on the geo-engineering timetable.

CREATING A SICKLY DEPENDENT POPULATION

Chemtrails are a ‘soft kill’ operation – Soft kill attacks primarily aim to disable and weaken the enemy, not kill him. As Dr. Len Horowitz has explained, wars are an inefficient way to lower population numbers because they destroy infrastructure. The preferable scenario is to create a sick population dependent on the military-medical-industrial complex for their health. In this way, you have population control, make vast fortunes doing it and keep the infrastructure intact.

Chemtrails are a multi-pronged attack.

Firstly, the metallic salts used in the aerosols are highly toxic and require our bodies to waste tremendous amounts of energy removing them. Millions of people cannot do it. In the last ten years, respiratory disease in the US has moved from 8th to 3rd highest cause of death. Asthma rates have more than doubled in the western world and Alzheimer’s’ disease, a condition that is caused by aluminum poisoning, has also skyrocketed.

The second thing is the release of diseases. A high placed military insider claims that bacteria and viruses are freeze-dried and placed on fine filaments for release. The metals released along with the diseases heat up from the sun, creating a perfect environment for the bacteria and viruses to thrive in the air supply.

Third, chemtrails contain nano technological weapons. Surprisingly, this fact has remained so low-key in the alternative media. It is well proven by researchers like Dr. Hildegarde Staninger and former government scientist Clifford Carnicom.

The nanotech consists of genetically modified organisms that are basically bio-robots. When we inhale them, they take up residence in our bodies and live as parasites. When the infestation becomes advanced, the individual develops what is termed Morgellons disease. He is so weak that he can barely do anything and suffers an array of bizarre and ghastly symptoms: scabs that don’t heal, hair that falls out and is replaced by pseudo hair and unceasing crawling sensations beneath the skin.

Morgellons is a new condition that has appeared in the last decade – the same time the heavy spraying kicked in! There are an estimated 60,000+ sufferers in the US alone, and their symptoms are chronicled by the Morgellons Research Foundation.

BIO WARFARE

There is evidence that the nanotechnology in the aerosols creates genetically modified red blood cells. Clifford Carnicom has found these cells in the atmosphere and in the blood samples of most people he tests. They are quite unlike normal red blood cells; they can grow outside of the body in a petri dish, survive high temperatures and withstand being doused in acid. Clearly, this is highly sophisticated bio warfare!

We don’t know for sure what purpose they serve, but the answer may have been provided by Ray Kurtwell, one of the biggest names in the transhumanism movement. In a recent speech he said: ‘In the next 25 years we will have bloodcell -sized devices that go inside your body and keep you healthy from inside, that go in your brain and interact with your biological neurons and merge with our biological intelligence.’

When an establishment scientist tells us with certainty that something will exist, assume that it already does. There is a chance that the ‘blood-cell sized devices’ that Kurtwell mentioned are the weaponized red blood cells being discovered, and that mind alteration is currently underway.

• How do the perpetrators protect themselves? The Illuminati never launch an attack without making sure they’re protected first. For instance, President Bush took an anthrax vaccine two weeks before the anthrax attacks in 2001. They may drink a solution once a day that removes the toxins from their bloodstream, or have a chip put in their arm that acts like a tiny dialysis machine.

Many involved in the operation probably don’t know the true agenda. Dr. Bill Deagle was a doctor at Buckley air force base and claims to have treated the pilots who were spraying the aerosols, ‘95% of them told me they were up there spraying to reflect the sun to stop global warming, so most of them are dumb enough to believe that garbage.’

CONCLUSION

The Illuminati are vandalizing the skies, as visibly as a graffiti artist spraying a wall, and yet most of us remain oblivious. Like little else, chemtrails bring home just how desperate our predicament is.

Despite this, I think anti-chemtrail activism has tremendous potential. The existence of the operation is easy to prove and we have the testimony of many whistle blowers. The protest movement can continue to generate momentum because chemtrails will persist for decades to come.

Russian billionaire plans to make humans immortal by 2045

A Russian billionaire has unveiled plans to make humans immortal by converting them into ‘Terminator-style’ cyborgs – a creature that’s part human and part machine – within the next three decades.

Thirty two-year-old mogul, Dmitry Itskov has been pushing the project forward since 2011 when he founded the 2045 Initiative.

His ultimate goal is to transfer a person’s mind or consciousness from a living brain into a machine with that its personality and memories intact, according to website Digital Trends.

The so called ‘Cyborg’ will have no physical form, and exist in a network similar to the Internet and be able to travel at the speed of light all over the Earth, or even into the space.

Itskov’s first highly ambitious goal, called Avatar A, involves a person controlling a robotic human replica through a brain-machine interface (BMI), a technology that already exists.

The deadline for this first stage is set for 2020, ‘The Mashable’ reported.

The Avatar B, due in 2025, would involve transplanting a human brain into an artificial body “at the end of one’s life.”

Next in line is the Avatar C, that rolls around in 2035, that would also involve a human-machine brain transplant, but with all personality intact.

Itskov hopes the Initiative will have learned enough about the human mind to free it completely from physical form finally, by 2045.

According to the report, from the Internet-like hive mind, individual personalities could manifest themselves as holograms when they need to interact with their environment.

“We believe that it is possible and necessary to eliminate ageing and even death, and to overcome the fundamental limits of the physical and mental capabilities currently set by the restrictions of the physical body,” the project website says.

Itskov is recruiting scientists and authoring an open letter to the UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon, asking him to support to push society’s transition to “neo-humanity.”

Bitcoin: The New World Order’s Plot For A World Currency?

As a general rule, if anything is covered en masse by the mainstream media, then I tend to believe that which I am watching is actually one long promotional spot.

The same could potentially be said for Bitcoin as over the past months its popularity has grown so much that “anarcho-capitalist…Libertarian…Freedom Fighter against mankind’s two biggest enemies, the State and Central Banks,” Dollar Vigilante Chief Editor, Jeff Berwick, has been on CNBC, CNN, Fox News, and BBC, and other mainstream outlets.

What brought on this sudden attention? No, not our anarcho-capitalism, but our announcement of the world’s first BitcoinATM.

So, is Jeff just a patsy so that the New World Order can bring in a digital currency? I began wondering this myself, and I came to what I think is a reasonable conclusion.

What many skeptics fail to understand is that the so-called New World Order – with its global governance, fiat currencies and so on – has already, for the most part, been implemented on a global scale. Especially economically. For instance, 95%+ of fiat money today is digital, and it’s all based on the Federal Reserve System, thus creating one worldwide currency with lots of different designs on the actual notes supposedly representing the various cultural backgrounds of nation-states.

Despite nearly everything being digital already, there are mainstream technologies that go above-and-beyond, aiming to rule out the need for cash.

One particular app for this cashless society, above-and-beyond credit and debit, is called Square, and was developed by Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s co-founder. According to CNN, “this is a telltale signs that the mobile-payments revolution has arrived.” CNN writes, as anyone who has studied American consumers know, “changing the way Americans pay for stuff is going to be really hard work.”

But Bitcoin is turning out to be a force to be reckoned with. For instance, in comparison to long-time friends of the liberty movement, gold and silver, Bitcoin seems to have been the play to make over the past six months and beyond. For months, besides today’s drop from $150-$115, after running to $150 from $105, our charts over at Gold Silver Bitcoin have shown a bimetallic standard precipitously dropping relative to Bitcoin.

The CNN article surmises that,

Paying by phone will be as transformative as the advent of the credit card in the 1950s. It will change the way we shop and bank. With powerful smartphones and tablets taking center stage on both sides of the checkout counter, it will reshape the relationship between buyer and seller. Not only will the phone or the tablet become a wallet for consumers, but it will also turn into a credit card reader and a register for merchants. Shoppers will use their mobile device as a coupon book, a comparison-shopping tool, and a repository of those unwieldy loyalty cards they carry from everyone from giant retail chains to the corner bakery. And your smartphones will serve as beacons that will alert a retailer when you walk into its store so that it can recommend products, show you reviews, or direct you to aisle five, where that beanbag chair you didn’t buy last week still beckons — and you can now have it for 10% off. You won’t even need a few singles to tip the valet or pay the dog walker, because they’ll take mobile payments too.

This basically explains the Bitcoin experience. One big difference? While CNN assumes a central authority, Bitcoin does not. With big players like AT&T, Verizon, Visa, Mastercard, Google, Microsoft, and eBay’s PayPal unit investing in billions in digital payment solutions, it is no surprise that the mainstream media is serving the idea to the public domain in kind and uncritical ways. One of their assumptions is a monopoly on the technology by some corporation friendly to compromising.

While the mainstream press has been unable to ignore Bitcoin, it certainly has been critical of Bitcoin being prone to hackers. Sure, a great many people have lost bitcoins. But, imagine if the general population had to become their own banks. Most of them would get eaten right away by sharks in the economic waters.

The CNN article champions the ease of digital transactions, and the time saved. Bitcoin is surely faster:

While this revolution will be powered by complex technology, its ultimate effect will be to greatly simplify things for consumers. Think about my experience at Grumpy. While I had to fiddle with my phone ahead of time — to upload my credit card to the Square app and to authorize it to talk to the Grumpy register — once there, the phone never left my pocket. All I had to do was order my cappuccino.

The article portends that “a cashless future is more real than many suspect.” According to the global head of mobile at Visa, “financial institutions are going to have a big role to play.”

“We are, I think, on a precipice of some fundamental change in the way money is exchanged between consumers and businesses,” Rep. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., said as she opened the first of a string of hearings one year ago on cashless ways.

The Federal Reserve found that 12 percent of cell phone users had already made a payment through their phones, and almost two-thirds of technology experts surveyed by the Pew Center on Internet and American Life said they expected mobile payments to eclipse cash and credit cards by 2020.

But, Square and similar technologies are different from Bitcoin. Bitcoin has caught on with a younger generation that, as Trace Mayer once put it to me (to paraphrase), “grew up in a digital sea. [The younger generation] are fish in a digital sea, whereas the older generation are snorkeling tourists.” In other words, p2p technology is a concept in-and-of itself for the Internet-literate. That goes a long way to explaining its popularity.

As the late Bob Chapman of the International Forecaster asked about gold and silver relative to fiat, “where else are you going to go” in a time of ubiquitous deceit? Bitcoin offers yet another alternative to what I’ve coined a “rebel’s portfolio” already heavy in silver and gold.

The pseudonymous nature (read: not totally anonymous) of Bitcoin does associate IPs with wallets. But, the paper-trail is a more obtuse alternative to the traditional bank account. The Powers That Be focus intensely on record-keeping; the historical record shows this, and so any added time-cost for their zeroing-in on you acts as the new privacy.

The popular appeal of Bitcoin – its p2p foundation – is as simple as first-language to the younger generation. Trace explains this well. Max Keiser recently said that he called gold in 2008, and people asked “What if the government confiscates my gold?” To which Max Keiser responds, “What you should have been asking yourself is, ‘What if the government confiscates my bank account?’” He then goes on: “Since $5 per BTC I’ve been recommending Bitcoin and many of you asked, ‘What if the government shuts off the Internet?’” Max Keiser answers thus: “What you should have been asking yourselves is, ‘What if the government shuts down the banks?”

And so, there are fundamental differences between the digital payment technologies pursued publicly by TPTB, and Bitcoin. This is what caught the eye of so many tech-savvy and Austrian-minded individuals across the world, but largely concentrated in the US and greater North America. Now, with Bitcoin skyrocketing from $9.31 last Fall to $150 today, the power of the Internet has never been clearer.

Bitcoin is a bet on the Internet. And, if you read our recent TDV Homegrown issue, you might have learned something about the Egyptian experience with a government using the “Internet kill switch.” I wrote:

Over one year ago, the Egyptian government cut off approximately 88% of the country’s internet access. Here is what happened: The government owned the biggest Internet provider in the nation, and only had to contact a few other companies to make this happen. The government ordered the shutdown of nearly all Internet access within Egypt. Ninety-three percent of Egypt’s networks went down. One of the only connections to the Internet that was not blocked belongs to Noor Data Network, the ISP used by the Egyptian (stock) Exchange.

I then went over some of the ways Egyptians worked around this Internet shutdown, as well as the likelihood of it happening in the US. The conclusion of the article was bullish for the Internet, for the Internet is a vibrant and evolving system. It is crucial to everyone’s way of life, and we see this with centralized and decentralized payment solutions. The Internet will continue to be defended by its users and impinged upon by its self-appointed overseers. It’s a battle in which any Dollar Vigilante would delightfully indulge.

Globalization and The Who’s Who of the New Ruling Elite

In the post cold war era, a New World Order is evolving by economic, as much as political means.

As the aggressive scramble for global wealth unfolds, international banks and corporations are anxious to play a direct role in shaping financial structures and ’policing’ economic reforms. The old institutions of ‘shadow government’ – the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group, the Club of Rome and the CFR, have been usurped by a new economic elite. This article looks at several of these elite groupings and their effects on the international political and economic landscape.

With a relentless drive to control the productive assets, labour, natural resources and institutions of sovereign nations, the new economic elite no longer cower behind closed doors. Their agendas are no longer a shadowy secret. Their activities are openly reported.

Their policy papers are embraced by governments. Their members are the respected ‘leaders’ of transnational corporations (TNCs). Collaboration between them occurs at the highest level.

The new economic elite use esteemed groupings such as the World Economic Forum and bodies such as the World Trade Organization to achieve their singular goal:

profit maximization through economic globalization.

THE WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM – WEF

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is arguably one of the most influential elite groupings. It is a membership-organization which promotes interaction among leaders from government, business, academia and the arts with the vague objective of ‘improving the state of the world.’

Membership of the WEF is comprised of over 800 chief executives, some 200 government leaders, numerous high ranking officials from regional and international organizations, some 300 experts, scientists, artists and representatives of the media. Major firms from all sectors of business and industry are represented.

The World Economic Forum organizes high-level meetings and summits, the largest and best-known of which is its Annual Meeting held in the ski resort of Davos in eastern Switzerland. This week-long meeting, informally known as the Davos Symposium, brings together the leaders of transnational corporations to discuss their positions and meet politicians at the highest level.

World Trade Organization issues feature often on their agenda and have informally influenced WTO policy-making through discussions regarding global issues and business contracts. At the beginning of the eighties, the WEF played a major role in launching the Uruguay Round.

The World Economic Forum is arguably a world government in waiting. It not only is a forum for the development of economic policy, but is also a political arena. In 1988 the prime ministers of Greece and Turkey, attending the annual meeting, signed the ’Davos Declaration,’ thereby moving their countries back from the brink of conflict, and in 1994, Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat reached a draft agreement in Davos on Gaza and Jericho.

The Foundation of the WEF encourages ’the creation of economic regions as pillars of the world economy.’ The Foundation organizes and runs regional and national meetings around the world.

Such meetings include the 1994 Europe/East Asia Economic Summit in Singapore, the 1995 Southern Africa Summit, and the 1994 Middle East/North Africa Summit held in Casablanca, Morocco, which was convened in partnership with the Council on Foreign Relations, and which proposed mechanisms to support the peace process in the Middle East.

The World Economic Forum also organizes annual national meetings in a number of countries including Germany, India, China and the United States.

CORPORATE PARTNERS OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER

It was at the 1999 WEF in Davos, that United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan, announced the UN’s ’compact for the new century’ with transnational corporations.

During his speech to assembled delegates, Annan stated,

’at a global level, corporate control of the political and economic landscape is being achieved by a new partnership forged with the United Nations (UN). The business community is fast becoming one of the United Nations’ most important allies. A fundamental shift has occurred in the UN-business relationship. The United Nations has developed a profound appreciation for the role of the private sector: its expertise, its innovative spirit, its unparalleled ability to create jobs and wealth.

At the same time, business and industry are recognizing the many virtues of the Organization’s work for political and social stability and for a predictable, rule-based environment for trade and investment. In a world of common challenges and common vulnerabilities, the United Nations and business are finding common ground.’

’The dialogue between the United Nations and the business community is based on the conviction that expanding markets and human security and well-being go hand in hand. That is why the Organization’s doors are open to you as never before.’

The UN Secretary General then went on to elaborate upon the ways that a ‘creative partnership’ between the UN and the private sector could flourish. ’The goals of the United Nations and those of business can, indeed, be mutually supportive,’ he said.

He described human rights abuses, dwindling labour standards and environmental degradation as,

’legitimate concerns…but restrictions on trade and impediments to investment flows are not the best means to use when tackling them… instead, we should find ways to achieve our proclaimed standards by other means.’

Discussing these ’other means’, Kofi Annan advised that one way would be through the international policy arena.

’You (the World Economic Forum membership) can encourage States to give us the multilateral institutions, the resources and the authority we need to do our job.’

Evidence of this new corporate alliance within the UN is growing steadily. The United Nations Development Program UNDP, with a mission of serving the world’s poor, has solicited funds from global corporations who are paying $50 000 each for UNDP patronage privileges. In return, the corporations receive special UNDP sanctioned logos.

Their financial contributions are held by the UNDP sponsored Global Sustainable Development Facility, an entity which the contributors themselves manage. Sponsors benefit from the advice and support of the UNDP through a special relationship which affords corporations unprecedented access to the UNDP’s network of offices, high level governmental contracts and reputation.

The UN’s corporate agenda is continuing to gain momentum with the recent announcement that the UN High Commissioner on Refugees is co-chairing a new organization – the Business Humanitarian Forum – with UNOCAL, a company with one of the worst human rights and environment records in the world.

Sitting together on the Board of this new organization, which has been endorsed by Kofi Annan, are both UNICEF – an advocate for children’s rights – and Nestle, a company which continues to violate a UN code of conduct on infant formula designed to protect children.

WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION – WTO

The World Trade Organisation (WTO) is itself another elite grouping of economic powerbrokers. The WTO covers a wide range of sectors with implications for most aspects of life.

These include,

intellectual property rights (including bio-technology)

agriculture (food)

the services industry (transport)

telecommunications

The interests of Transnational Corporations play a crucial role in WTO negotiations.

While it is the 132 member countries who are responsible for decision-making across the WTO’s organizational bodies, it is the private sector that increasingly influences the policy positions of member countries. For the very large transnational corporations the WTO is an important domain of trade jurisdiction and a crucial determinant of the extent to which they are able to operate unhindered.

As feared, in every case brought before it to date, the WTO has ruled in favor of corporate interest, striking down national and sub-national legislation protecting the environment and public health at every turn.

When an industry-backed governmental challenge to a ‘disadvantageous’ national or local law is brought before the WTO, the contending parties present their case in a secret hearing before a panel of three totally unaccountable trade experts – generally lawyers who have made careers of representing corporate clients on trade issues.

There is no provision for the presentation of alternative perspectives from non-governmental organizations, and documents presented to the panel, and the identification of the panelists who supported a position or conclusion, remain secret. If the offending government fails to persuade the panel of the offending law’s validity, it is legally and automatically bound to bring its law into line with the lower international standard, or be subjected to perpetual fines or trade sanctions.

Theoretically, there is a process of appeal, but this is only possible if all member countries vote to stop the decision within 90 days.

A procedure designed to ensure that appeals are unlikely to succeed.

BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY ADVISORY COMMITTEE – BIAC

There are also organizations within organizations that are driving the forces of globalization.

One example is the influential Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which often influences the position that the richer countries adopt in the WTO.

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and TNCs plays an important role in BIAC.

INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE – ICC

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) calls itself the World Business Organization for promoting international trade, investment and the global market economy system, and rules governing the conduct of business across borders.

The ICC covers 7000 member companies and associations from over 130 countries and ensures that business concerns are brought to the attention of governments in a coordinated way via its international presence.

Through its Secretariat in Paris, it has access to the highest decision-makers and staff from the World Trade Organization, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the UN. Many ICC members are TNCs whose views predominate in the ICC’s policy positions.

The ICC has privileged access to the United Nations. In 1997, a delegation of ICC members, including industry captains from Coca Cola, Unilever, McDonalds, Goldman Sachs, and Rio Tinto Zinc made a joint statement with UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan describing the,

’broad political and economic changes that have opened up new opportunities for dialogue and cooperation between the UN and the private sector.’

The two sides committed themselves to forge a,

’close global partnership to ensure greater business input into the world’s economic decision making and boost the private sector in the least developed countries.’

THE INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL FINANCE – IIF

The Institute of International Finance (IIF) is a mouthpiece for the world’s largest banks and investment houses.

In April 1998, it proposed the creation of a ‘Financial Watchdog’ – a so-called ’Private Sector Advisory Council’ – with a view to routinely supervising the activities of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In the wake of the Asian economic meltdown, the IMF was quick to response to the IIF. The Fund called for concrete ’steps to strengthen private sector involvement’ in crisis management in what might be interpreted as a ’power sharing arrangement’ between the IMF and the global banks.

The agenda is to transform the IMF – from its present status as an inter-governmental body – into a full fledged bureaucracy which more effectively serves the interests of the global banks. More importantly, the banks and speculators want access to the details of IMF negotiations with member governments which will enable them to carefully position their assaults in financial markets both prior and in the wake of an IMF bailout agreement.

The international banking community has also set up its own high level ’Steering Committee on Emerging Markets Finance’, integrated by some of the world’s most powerful financiers including William Rhodes, Vice Chairman of Citibank and Sir David Walker, Chairman of Morgan Stanley.

The global banks (pointing to the need for ’transparency’) have called upon ’the IMF to provide valuable insights [on its dealings with national governments].’

EUROPEAN ROUND TABLE – ERT

Since its creation in 1983, the European Round Table (ERT) has fostered top level cooperation between transnational corporations and governments, at both national and European levels.

It consists exclusively of the Chief Executives (CEOs) of a number of TNCs based in Europe such as Philips, Bayer, Unilever and Nestle. The ERT’s powerful constituency gives it informal as well as formal access to the highest ranking decision-makers including prime ministers and the German Chancellor.

It makes its views well heard at the national and European levels by means of short and authoritative reports, position papers and face-to-face discussions. The ERT claims to have contact with the EC, the Council of Ministers and the European Parliament, as well as many international organizations such as the WTO. Every six months, the ERT meets Ministers of the government holding EU presidency.

At the national level, each Member keeps in personal contact with decision-makers, parliament, business colleagues, industry organizations and the press. It also works with the ICC, and the Transatlantic Business Dialogue (TABD).

Research into the ERT demonstrates the considerable influence on European policy and decision-making, and further, that its adopted position on the WTO is reflected in EU trade policy.

TRANSATLANTIC BUSINESS DIALOGUE – TABD

The TABD, the Transatlantic Business Dialogue, describes its function as an informal process whereby European and American companies and business associations develop joint EU-US trade policy recommendations.

Working together with the European Commission and US Administration, they help shape US-EU trade policy including in the WTO.

It is a unique process, driven by business leaders, because of the personal involvement of CEOs working closely with the highest levels of government from the EU and US. It is not an organization, but a framework drawing on the resources of existing companies and organizations, to deliver joint industry messages. The results are considered much more efficient than the traditional structures for government-business consultation.

The United States and EU businesses form working groups and produce reports which are then used to inform policy-makers. The Working Group on Global Issues addresses matters arising in the WTO such as, services negotiations, the Information Technology Agreement (ITA), government procurement, intellectual property, investment and competition. ITA meetings are chaired by representatives from Olivetti and Compaq.

Further consultation and lobbying occurs at a yearly conference which bring together CEOs and senior-level government representatives, including the highest level decision-makers such as the WTO Director-General and the EC Commissioner for Trade. This combination of CEOs and senior government representatives have proved to provide an unprecedented opportunity to achieve breakthroughs on challenging issues.

The US and EU co-chairs of the TABD participated in the EU-US Summit in The Hague in May 1997 with US President Clinton, European Commission President Santer and Dutch Prime Minister Kok.

The TABD representatives formally presented the 1997 TABD Priorities Paper which the political leaders regarded as useful building blocks and inspiration to explore further possibilities of liberalizing trade and investment flows.

UNITED STATES COUNCIL FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS – USCIB

The United States Council for International Business (USCIB) has a membership of over 300 multinationals, law firms and business associations.

It constitutes a special pressure group that promotes the interests of US TNCs to intergovernmental organizations including the OECD, the WTO, and different UN bodies, with which its international affiliates have official consultative status. It is the American affiliate of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD.

The USCIB formulates its positions in over forty committees and other working bodies composed of corporate and other experts drawn from its membership.
THE GLOBALIST AGENDA

The groupings discussed in this paper are collective policy arms of transnational corporations.

As governments increasingly fear the response of world markets to their policies, they look towards the new economic elite, not their own constituents, to provide direction.

This ‘direction’ – so far – has resulted in,

massive economic breakdown in some nations

insecurity in all nations

unprecedented hardships for millions of people

growing unemployment and dislocation in all regions

direct assaults on environmental and labor conditions

loss of wilderness and biodiversity

massive population shifts

Through elite economic forums, companies are finding new ways of limiting the power of states. Instead of alienating governments, important actors, and institutions – transnational corporations have co-opted them.

Just as a series of regional trade groupings gave way to the World Trade Organization, the 21st century will no doubt see a further consolidation in the power of elite economic policy and advisory groups as the corporate partners of the New World Order are unmasked.

Dr John Coleman former MI5 officer saw the reality while serving in Angola, MI5 was not fighting communism, they were instilling it.

John Coleman has not been seen nor heard of since 1996, that is of course with the exception of Alex Jones, the man at the helm of the Texas branch of MI6 who is the only man to whom they would have us believe Dr Coleman trusts to speak with.

John states that the National Reconnaissance Agency is the supreme Intelligence operation in the US and is the machine of the Venetian Party of the North, to which King George III was its head at the time of the War of Independence.

The Venetians of course are the Carolingian warrior cast who defeated the last stand against the Cluny feudal system in Saxony, when the Hohenstaufen’s were defeated by the Black Guelphs, which today can be seen in the entire raft of Monarchs sitting in Europe and beyond, though it must be noted the monarch of Norway is said not to be a member of the highest levels of this agenda.

John Coleman states Free Trade to be the child of the Venetian Party of the North also, which through the Marxist hero Adam Smith was sanctioned as a viable policy for trade while purposefully failing to present the reality of the fact it meant free to trade for the Empire against any and all small private enterprise, as such perhaps the means to the creation of the global multinational corporations now ready to take full control under statute, of the worlds contingency systems.

At the time John was big on the American Constitution, yet we now know this to be a constitution for the elites as we know the same to be so in Britain, in Britain rights stop below the Freeman and in our ignorance we the British have assumed we are all freemen on these lands, as such we are, but legally under statute we are no such thing, (the Magna Carta is a statutory agreement), the people have no rights as they are serfs. That said it only takes a little tweaking and the two constitutions operate in the correct manner so all is not lost.

In the defence of Dr Coleman’s honour, it would perhaps be rather more sinister if everything he stated was to be absolute and provably so, we are all learning as we move on our paths of revelation and upon that basis it would a folly to dismiss John and his work as it would be counterproductive to learning the truth.

It is also worth noting the fact when it comes to the East India Companies, specifically the Dutch and the British, it appears it was the Dutch which held the real reigns of power with the British acting as it’s front.

ICIJ’s Offshore Data Raid on the Global Elite’s Financial Secrets

Is it the biggest bank heist in history with $32tn (£21tn) at stake? The electronic vaults of the Caribbean offshore financial system have been raided and 2.5 million secret files belonging to the global political and business elite have been downloaded.

The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) – working with The Guardian, Le Monde, Washington Post and over 30 other media outlets – has accessed a huge data dump exposing the financial machinations of the super-rich in “the largest cross-border journalism collaboration in history.”

The investigative epic is called “Secrecy For Sale: Inside The Global Offshore Money Maze.”

As reported by IBTimes US, the findings explore the concealed world of tax havens, cracking open the secrets of more than 120,000 offshore companies and trusts and almost 130,000 individuals in over 170 nations. The big names in international banking, including Clariden, UBS and Deutsche Bank, face a potential new scandal.

Exposed are individuals associated with covert business dealings in the Cook Islands, the British Virgin Islands (BVI), Singapore, Azerbaijan, Russia, Canada, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, Mongolia and many other places.

ICIJ's Offshore Data Raid on the Global Elite's Financial Secrets — Money paradise?

US doctors, Greek villagers, Russian executives, shady Wall Streeters, billionaires from Eastern Europe and Indonesia, dealers of international arms and family members of dictators have been able to employ intricate offshore structures to own mansions, yachts, art and other assets while gaining tax advantages and anonymity “not available to average people,” the ICIJ points out.

The key findings of the investigation nclude:

A former US Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, is said to have “a lot of money in the Cayman Islands.”
One British property speculator, Scott Young, recently jailed for refusing to pay his wife alimony – he claimed he was penniless – had business interests in the BVI. According to The Guardian, Young’s lawyer, to whom he signed over power of attorney, appears to control interests in a BVI company involved in a $100m Moscow development.
The prime minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili was the latest name to emerge.

“A well-paid industry of accountants, middlemen and other operatives has helped offshore patrons shroud their identities and business interests, providing shelter in many cases to money laundering or other misconduct,” the ICIJ reports, adding that ponzi schemers and other mega-fraudsters are among the tricksters who’ve often used “offshore havens to pull off their shell games and move their ill-gotten gains.”

The ICIJ warns that offshore financial secrecy was to blame for the recent Cyprus debacle and the tax raid on depositors.

Nearly 4,000 individuals from the U.S. are mentioned in the report. One of them is Denise Rich, a Grammy-nominated songwriter whose ex-husband “was at the centre of an American pardon scandal that erupted as President Bill Clinton left office,” according to ICIJ. In April 2006 Rich had $144m in a Cook Islands trust, records obtained by the ICIJ show.

Meanwhile, James R. Mellon, a member of the Mellon dynasty that launched companies like Gulf Oil and Mellon Bank, and an author of books about Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Mellon “used four companies in the BVI and Liechtenstein to trade securities and transfer tens of millions of dollars among offshore bank accounts he controlled,” ICIJ reports.

Mellon told ICIJ he owned “a whole bunch” of offshore companies but has since disposed of them. He set up the firms for “tax advantage” and liability reasons. “But I have never broken the tax law,” he said.

Of the use of nominees, Mellon noted that “that’s the way these firms are set up,” and that it’s useful for someone who travels a lot to have someone else in charge of his businesses. “I just heard of a presidential candidate who had a lot of money in the Cayman Islands,” he said. Mellon was “alluding to former U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney,” ICIJ notes.

The ICIJ, founded in 1997 as a project of the Center for Public Integrity, a Washington D.C.-based non-profit, worked with 86 investigative journalists from 46 countries to crunch high-tech data and report the findings.

19-Year-Old Develops Technology to Rid World’s Oceans of Plastic

19-year-old Boyan Slat has unveiled plans to create an Ocean Cleanup Array that could remove 7,250,000 tons of plastic waste from the world’s oceans. The device consists of an anchored network of floating booms and processing platforms that could be dispatched to garbage patches around the world. Instead of moving through the ocean, the array would span the radius of a garbage patch, acting as a giant funnel. The angle of the booms would force plastic in the direction of the platforms, where it would be separated from plankton, filtered and stored for recycling.

At school, Boyan Slat launched a project that analyzed the size and amount of plastic particles in the ocean’s garbage patches. His final paper went on to win several prizes, including Best Technical Design 2012 at the Delft University of Technology. Boyan continued to develop his concept during the summer of 2012, and he revealed it several months later at TEDxDelft 2012.

Slat went on to found The Ocean Cleanup Foundation, a non-profit organization which is responsible for the development of his proposed technologies. His ingenious solution could potentially save hundreds of thousands of aquatic animals annually, and reduce pollutants (including PCB and DDT) from building up in the food chain. It could also save millions per year, both in clean-up costs, lost tourism and damage to marine vessels.

It is estimated that the clean-up process would take about five years, and it could greatly increase awareness about the world’s plastic garbage patches. On his site Slat says, “One of the problems with preventive work is that there isn’t any imagery of these ‘garbage patches’, because the debris is dispersed over millions of square kilometres. By placing our arrays however, it will accumulate along the booms, making it suddenly possible to actually visualize the oceanic garbage patches. Building 7 was a 47-story skyscraper and was part of the World Trade Center complex. Built in 1984, it would have been the tallest high-rise in 33 states in the United States. It collapsed at 5:20 pm on September 11, 2001 in 6.5 Seconds at free fall acceleration. It was not hit by an airplane and suffered minimal damage compared to other buildings much closer to the Twin Towers.

Take Your Money Out of the Bank, While You Still Can

It is now clear, the government of Cyprus was given two options by the IMF and the EU in which they were told that they could steal money from private bank accounts or they could leave the Eurozone all together and face total economic annihilation. This theft involves seizing the funds of all accounts over 100,000 euros, then stealing up to 40% of those funds sometime over the next few weeks, or whenever EU finance ministers decide exactly how much to steal.

However, no accounts containing less than 100,000 euros will be impacted. This amount was not arbitrarily chosen. The 100,000 mark was chosen because all EU bank accounts are insured up to 100,000 euros. Therefore, the criminal banksters believe that they can steal anything over 100,000 euros because it is not insured.

Except for the 132 preferred insiders who got their money out of Cyprus the day before the announcement of the grand banking theft, the Eurogroup finance ministers have subsequently announced that the large Bank of Cyprus depositors’ above the 100,000 level now have their accounts frozen. The 132 preferred insiders reminds me of Goldman Sachs doing a put option for preferred insiders in Transocean stock the morning of the Gulf oil explosion.

Lars Christensen, the CEO of Saxo Bank, in a recent blog post, chastised the thievery of the IMF and the EU with the following statement.

This is a breach of fundamental property rights, dictated to a small country by foreign powers and it must make every bank depositor in Europe shiver. Although the representatives at the bailout press conference tried to present this as a one-off, they were not willing to rule out similar measures elsewhere – not that it would have mattered much as the trust is gone anyway. It is now difficult to expect any kind of limitation to what measures the Troika and EU might take when the crisis really starts to bite.

If you can do this once, you can do it again. if you can confiscate 10 percent of a bank customer’s money, you can confiscate 25, 50 or even 100 percent. I now believe we will see worse as the panic increases, with politicians desperately trying to keep the EUR alive.

Depositors in other prospective bailout countries must be running scared – is it safe to keep money in an Italian, Spanish or Greek bank anymore? I don’t know, must be the answer. Is it prudent to take the risk? You decide. I fear this will lead to massive capital outflows from weak Eurozone countries, just about the last thing they need right now.

Plain and simple, the Cyprus fiasco is a bankster beta test which is being used to test the intestinal fortitude of bank depositors. If there is no uprising in Cyprus, the banksters will move on to Greece, then to Italy, and on to Spain. Even New Zealand is rumored to be in the cross-hairs of the banksters. In short, these tactics will spread like wildfire to every G20 nation on the planet including the United States.

Helicopter Ben Bernanke refuses to address the possibility of this grand theft spreading to the United States. However, recent DHS actions have spoken volumes to that end, as they have declared that, under the PATRIOT Act, they can enter any safe deposit box and seize any bank account. Further, any bank employee caught leaking DHS memos to the public can and will be prosecuted under the same act. Subsequently, the US will not need a Cyprus-like Deposit Tax since they can take whatever is deemed as contraband by an inspecting DHS agent — and they will not likely stop with seizing safe deposit boxes.

Now America should know why the DHS has purchased 2.2 billion rounds of ammunition and 2700 armored vehicles, as they know that this planned theft will be met with resistance by American account holders. And DHS will not stop with the theft of our bank accounts. My sources tell me that Obama is going after every investment including our pensions and 401(k)’s. The banksters on Wall Street are also acquiring firearms, ammunition and control over private mercenary corporations like DynCorp and Blackwater, as authorized by Department of Defense (DOD) directive 3025.18. It is interesting to note that this is the same DynCorp that was caught trafficking in child sex rings and got off with only a small fine. The bankers have revealed themselves for who they really are.

With all the discourse covering this volatile situation in which nobody’s money is safe, the “legal precedent” has already been set in stone courtesy of the United States justice system. Who could ever forget the MF Global (MFG) scandal which stunned American financial centers when Jon “the Don” Corzine, CEO of MF Global, oversaw the disappearance of $6.3 billion dollars, from secured and segregated accounts, which were used as collateral on bad gambling bets placed upon indebted European nations. The subsequent European nation’s credit ratings went down the toilet and JP Morgan, the mastermind behind this theft of secured investment funds, handsomely profited. And where was the Securities and Exchange Commission during this criminal debacle? Well, the agent in charge of the division which would have overseen the MF Global theft by former Goldman Sachs, Jon Corzine, was former Goldman Sachs enforcement agent, Gary Gensler.

And let’s not forget about the stunning decision made in August of 2012, in which the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, from Illinois, ruled that once a person deposits their personal money in the bank, the bank is free to do whatever it wants to do with the depositor funds including covering their bank losses, engaging in risky investments and, presumably, even stealing the funds. Is it clear why Jesus chased the money changers from the Temple?
Get your money out of the bank immediately. Leave just enough in the bank to pay bills. Buy a fireproof safe and install it in a secure and hidden location within your home. Do not keep anything in a safety deposit box because very soon it will become the property of DHS.

Could this be the beginning of the trigger event which will ultimately lead to revolution in this country, complete with roundups and mass exterminations of dissidents? Time will tell. Meanwhile, get your money out of the banks, now, while you still can.

An important pea-sized gland

Pinecone shaped, the size of a pea and resting in the center of the brain, the pineal gland is small but powerful. David Stockman on Crony Capitalism: We’ve Been Lied To, Robbed, And Misled

Then, when the Fed’s fire hoses started spraying an elephant soup of liquidity injections in every direction and its balance sheet grew by $1.3 trillion in just thirteen weeks compared to $850 billion during its first ninety-four years, I became convinced that the Fed was flying by the seat of its pants, making it up as it went along. It was evident that its aim was to stop the hissy fit on Wall Street and that the thread of a Great Depression 2.0 was just a cover story for a panicked spree of money printing that exceeded any other episode in recorded human history.

David Stockman, The Great Deformation

David Stockman, former director of the OMB under President Reagan, former US Representative, and veteran financier is an insider’s insider. Few people understand the ways in which both Washington DC and Wall Street work and intersect better than he does.

In his upcoming book, The Great Deformation: The Corruption of Capitalism in America[37], Stockman lays out how we have devolved from a free market economy into a managed one that operates for the benefit of a privileged few. And when trouble arises, these few are bailed out at the expense of the public good.

By manipulating the price of money through sustained and historically low interest rates, Greenspan and Bernanke created an era of asset mis-pricing that inevitably would need to correct. And when market forces attempted to do so in 2008, Paulson et alhoodwinked the world into believing the repercussions would be so calamitous for all that the institutions responsible for the bad actions that instigated the problem needed to be rescued — in full — at all costs.

Of course, history shows that our markets and economy would have been better off had the system been allowed to correct. Most of the “too big to fail” institutions would have survived or been broken into smaller, more resilient, entities. For those that would have failed, smaller, more responsible banks would have stepped up to replace them – as happens as part of the natural course of a free market system:

Essentially there was a cleansing run on the wholesale funding market in the canyons of Wall Street going on. It would have worked its will, just like JP Morgan allowed it to happen in 1907 when we did not have the Fed getting in the way. Because they stopped it in its tracks after the AIG bailout and then all the alphabet soup of different lines that the Fed threw out, and then the enactment of TARP, the last two investment banks standing were rescued, Goldman and Morgan [Stanley], and they should not have been. As a result of being rescued and having the cleansing liquidation of rotten balance sheets stopped, within a few weeks and certainly months they were back to the same old games, such that Goldman Sachs got $10 billion dollars for the fiscal year that started three months later after that check went out, which was October 2008. For the fiscal 2009 year, Goldman Sachs generated what I call a $29 billion surplus – $13 billion of net income after tax, and on top of that $16 billion of salaries and bonuses, 95% of it which was bonuses.

Therefore, the idea that they were on death’s door does not stack up. Even if they had been, it would not make any difference to the health of the financial system. These firms are supposed to come and go, and if people make really bad bets, if they have a trillion dollar balance sheet with six, seven, eight hundred billion dollars worth of hot-money short-term funding, then they ought to take their just reward, because it would create lessons, it would create discipline. So all the new firms that would have been formed out of the remnants of Goldman Sachs where everybody lost their stock values – which for most of these partners is tens of millions, hundreds of millions – when they formed a new firm, I doubt whether they would have gone back to the old game. What happened was the Fed stopped everything in its tracks, kept Goldman Sachs intact, the reckless Goldman Sachs and the reckless Morgan Stanley, everyone quickly recovered their stock value and the game continues. This is one of the evils that comes from this kind of deep intervention in the capital and money markets.

Stockman’s anger at the unnecessary and unfair capital transfer from taxpayer to TBTF bank is matched only by his concern that, even with those bailouts, the banking system is still unacceptably vulnerable to a repeat of the same crime:

The banks quickly worked out their solvency issues because the Fed basically took it out of the hides of Main Street savers and depositors throughout America. When the Fed panicked, it basically destroyed the free-market interest rate – you cannot have capitalism, you cannot have healthy financial markets without an interest rate, which is the price of money, the price of capital that can freely measure and reflect risk and true economic prospects.

Well, once you basically unplug the pricing mechanism of a capital market and make it entirely an administered rate by the Fed, you are going to cause all kinds of deformations as I call them, or mal-investments as some of the Austrians used to call them, that basically pollutes and corrupts the system. Look at the deposit rate right now, it is 50 basis points, maybe 40, for six months. As a result of that, probably $400-500 billion a year is being transferred as a fiscal maneuver by the Fed from savers to the banks. They are collecting the spread, they’ve then booked the profits, they’ve rebuilt their book net worth, and they paid back the TARP basically out of what was thieved from the savers of America.

Now they go down and pound the table and whine and pout like JP Morgan and the rest of them, you have to let us do stock buy backs, you have to let us pay out dividends so we can ramp our stock and collect our stock option winnings. It is outrageous that the authorities, after the so-called “near death experience” of 2008 and this massive fiscal safety net and monetary safety net was put out there, is allowing them to pay dividends and to go into the market and buy back their stock. They should be under house arrest in a sense that every dime they are making from this artificial yield group being delivered by the Fed out of the hides of savers should be put on their balance sheet to build up retained earnings, to build up a cushion. I do not care whether it is fifteen or twenty or twenty-five percent common equity and retained earnings-to-assets or not, that is what we should be doing if we are going to protect the system from another raid by these people the next time we get a meltdown, which can happen at any time.

You can see why I talk about corruption, why crony capitalism is so bad. I mean, the Basel capital standards, they are a joke. We are just allowing the banks to go back into the same old game they were playing before. Everybody said the banks in late 2007 were the greatest thing since sliced bread. The market cap of the ten largest banks in America, including from Bear Stearns all the way to Citibank and JP Morgan and Goldman and so forth, was $1.25 trillion. That was up thirty times from where the predecessors of those institutions had been. Only in 1987, when Greenspan took over and began the era of bubble finance – slowly at first then rapidly, eventually, to have the market cap grow thirty times – and then on the eve of the great meltdown see the $1.25 trillion to market cap disappear, vanish, vaporize in panic in September 2008. Only a few months later, $1 trillion of that market cap disappeared in to the abyss and panic, and Bear Stearns is going down, and all the rest.

This tells you the system is dramatically unstable. In a healthy financial system and a free capital market, if I can put it that way, you are not going to have stuff going from nowhere to @1.2 trillion and then back to a trillion practically at the drop of a hat. That is instability; that is a case of a medicated market that is essentially very dangerous and is one of the many adverse consequences and deformations that result from the central-bank dominated, corrupt monetary system that has slowly built up ever since Nixon closed the gold window, but really as I say in my book, going back to 1933 in April when Roosevelt took all the private gold. So we are in a big dead-end trap, and they are digging deeper every time you get a new maneuver.

5 of 10 Top Economies in the World Drop the Dollar

The U.S Dollar is quickly losing its status as the world reserve currency. Five of the top ten economies in the world, plus a few others, no longer use the dollar as an intermediary currency for trade. This trend poses a huge risk to the dollar and the United States along with it.

ZeroHedge points out today that Australia, the world’s 12th-ranked economy, has now joined a growing list of nations that have agreed to bypass the dollar in bilateral trade with China. China, ranked 2nd behind the U.S., also has similar agreements with Japan (3rd), Brazil (6th), India (9th), and Russia (10th).

Although unilateral agreements have been in place for some time between China and the countries listed above, last week the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) agreed to set up a development bank to compete with the IMF, indicating it’s gearing up to compete in a post-dollar world.

Additionally, Brazil, who agreed in principle to drop the dollar with bilateral trade with China some time ago, just made it official with $30 billion in annual currency swaps which will facilitate around 50% of all trade between them.

Besides those agreements with China, some of these nations have made other similar agreements with each other. India and Japan began swapping $15 billion in each other’s currency in 2011 to handle their bilateral trade. And the sanctions against Iran haven’t stopped them from trading oil with China, Russia, and India in anything but the dollar.

It appears that the dollar is certainly nearing the end of its reign, which could lead to severe economic hardship for the United States.

Dave Hodges writes:

The United States’ good economic fortune is due solely to the fact that world must use the dollar, the Petrodollar if you will, in order to make their nation’s individual oil purchases; this provides the only source of backing for the U.S. dollar that the Federal Reserve requires in order to somewhat sustain our back-breaking debt that the banker-occupied United States government has passed along to the American taxpayer in the form of bailouts.

And Marin Katusa of Casey Research writes:

If the US dollar loses its position as the global reserve currency, the consequences for America are dire. A major portion of the dollar’s valuation stems from its lock on the oil industry – if that monopoly fades, so too will the value of the dollar. Such a major transition in global fiat currency relationships will bode well for some currencies and not so well for others, and the outcomes will be challenging to predict. But there is one outcome that we foresee with certainty: Gold will rise. Uncertainty around paper money always bodes well for gold, and these are uncertain days indeed.

America’s imperialism, combined with its ultra-fiat status of unending debt creation, appears to have created a final downward spiral that has caused many of the top economies to abandon a sinking ship. It might not be too much longer before the rest follow suit. Now might be a great time to consider diversifying into other currencies, and even digital currencies, to mitigate growing losses in the U.S. dollar.

Big Government: An Unnecessary Evil That Should Be Abolished

There are two types of people in this world; those who worship the ideal of centralized command authority, and those who do not. Those who value freedom regardless of risk or pain, and those who value slavery in a desperate bid to avoid risk and pain. When I consider the ultimate folly of man, in the end I look to the meek and unquestioning masses who strive to avoid risk, because it is they who always end up feeding the machines of war, despair, and tyranny. The power thirsty halls of elitism surely instigate and manipulate the tides of this wretched ocean of quivering souls, but ultimately, the weak-hearted and weak minded make all terrible conquests possible.

They live by the rule of fear, and their fear drives them to seek control; control of their environment, control of others, and by extension they believe, control of the future. They attempt to mitigate their overwhelming fear by containing the world and sterilizing it of everything wild, untamed, and unknown. They dream of a society of pure predictability, and zero responsibility. They are willing to sacrifice almost anything to attain this position of artificial comfort.

The concept of “big government” appeals to such people for many reasons…

Government in most cases is nothing but an abstraction. It is merely a tool that serves the interests of a particular group of people at any given time. Modern politics is an expression of the foolish cat fight between factions of people to decide who gets to wield the weapon of government and impose their ideology on the rest of us. At least, that’s what it almost always devolves into. The great illusion of the system, though, is that ANY group of average people ever actually wields any power. The truth is, big governments are always operated by very small and exclusive clubs of root beneficiaries out of the sight of the population.

The smaller this dominant group becomes, the more corrupt and criminal the government generally is. A government reaches a state of despotism whenever its functions are twisted for the sake of an elite few to the detriment of the common man, and when it ignores the natural inborn rights of the individual for the sake of some fabricated collective . If one were to closely examine the birth of every iron-fisted oligarchy throughout history, they would find a cyclical pattern of centralization; the removal of checks and balances, the removal of legitimate public involvement in the political process, a dependent and infantized citizenry, and the rise of a “bureaucratic class” which regards itself as superior and born to lead. All steps taking place within Western societies today.

Unfortunately, the masses tend to view big government as an inevitability of life; as a natural extension of culture. Rarely if ever do they ask what tangible purpose it serves. Are they really getting what they want out of their government? Or, is the government taking what it wants from them?

I have always found the worshipful attitude that some citizens ascribe to government simultaneously fascinating and disturbing, because these people are not bowing down to a wise and benevolent entity. Rather, they are bowing down to their own delusions of what they believe that entity to be. The most dangerous and insidious of governments present themselves as a kind of social vanity mirror. They allow the citizenry to project their collective desires, biases, shortcomings, and fears, and reflect back an image that entices and placates the majority. The lies and manipulations of big government are designed to satiate our basest fantasies, but what we see as a concrete edifice of political and legal might, in the end, is a mirage mired in the fog of our own naïve expectations.

So, the question again arises; if the structure of big government is built upon deceit and misrepresentation, what tangible purpose does it really serve?

The answer is no purpose…at least, no purpose that elevates and enriches the public at large.

Big government is not a “necessary evil”. It is just evil. Like the ring of Sauron, it lures in the weak with promises of power, but this power is a ruse. Each side of our false left/right paradigm, Democrat and Republican, thinks that if only THEY were the bearers of the ring they would “finally use it for good”. But once in their possession, they are overtaken, overwhelmed, and corrupted by personal temptation.

The Democratic Party, with all of its proclamations of humanism and respect for civil liberties, is a perfect example. How quickly did the rank and file Democrats turn away from their anti-war, anti-torture, anti-banker, anti-surveillance, anti-tyranny stance once Barack Obama, a self proclaimed Democrat, was placed in office? Very quickly!

And what about the common Republican? How many of them utterly abandoned their ideals of limited government, reduced spending, Constitutional rights, and Christian understanding as soon as Bush and the Neo-Con regime was installed? Most of them!

And when all is said and done, who has reaped profits and gained dominance during both disastrous administrations? The corporate high priests and international banking cartels, not the oblivious participants of the fake political theater. Yet, a masochistic cycle of misplaced trust in the system on the part of the masses continues…

If these latest signs of big government corruption aren’t enough to make the public question the validity of the establishment, I’m not sure what will…

The Rape Of Cyprus

Even in the face of unmitigated government theft, I still hear the occasional rationalization of the Cyprus debacle. Defenders of the bailout measures (which the EU demanded) allowing the confiscation of private citizen savings to pay off government mismanaged debt, argue two things:

1) The banks that were targeted contained “Russian blood money” and hidden funds, so confiscation really amounted to a “punishment of rich criminals” rather than the Cyprus public.

2) It is “better” that the citizens go along with the confiscation of a percentage of their accounts, rather than lose everything through collapse.

Just to be clear, any sizable Russian funds being stored in Cyprus were removed before the bailout measures were instituted. Therefore, the assertion that such people were “punished” is a lie and a distraction. The Russian scapegoat was merely being promoted by global financiers and political elites in order to con people around the world (not just those in Cyprus) to accept the concept of government theft of private funds as being “moral” under “certain extraneous circumstances”. When a government wants you to set aside your conscience in support of an immoral action that serves their interests, they will almost always conjure a false villain and engineered consequences for you to direct your fear and anger at. Once they can convince you to abandon your own principles to smite an imaginary enemy or avoid a manufactured threat, even if only one time, it will be much easier for them to convince you again a second time.

Large and corrupt governments love to use the magic of the false choice. For instance, “…it is better to sacrifice some of your money and your principles to the establishment than it is to live through total collapse of the nation…” This false choice process, though, never ends. The offending government will demand more property and more freedom from the citizenry everyday while constantly warning that if we do not submit, the alternative will be “far worse”.

The truth is, Cyprus is not the issue. What the disaster in Cyprus reflects, however, concerns us all. It is a moment of precedence; an action which sets the stage for the final destruction of the idea of private property. It dissolves one of the final barriers to total government control. Governments and elitists have always stolen from the public through misspent taxation and rampant inflation, but with Cyprus, we see a renewed feudalistic paradigm. The EU and the banking hierarchy are sending a message to the Western world: You are now their personal emergency fund, and nothing you own is actually yours anymore.

When an institution confiscates property and capital at will from a subdued and frightened populace without consent, they are essentially exploiting the labor of that populace. In any culture or language, this is called “slavery”.

Private Corporations Openly Dictating The Law

As most in the Liberty Movement know, the seeds of Fascism germinate in the soil where the corporate world meets the political world. This is one of the primary reasons why we will stop at nothing to eliminate entities like the Federal Reserve; a privately run banking cartel that mingles with government yet answers to no one, including Congress or the people. The Fed has existed since 1913, and has dominated the value and circulation of our currency ever since. However, today, they are taking on new powers…

As a part of the recent bailout bonanza and the legislation surrounding it, the Fed has begun writing operational policy for other private banking institutions:

The transition has been subtle but the implications are dangerous. The Fed is becoming a regulatory body with expanding influence outside of the electoral process. It is preparing the ground for other private central banks to become fully unaccountable governing structures. Right now, they are limited to the banking sector, but eventually, this dynamic will poison every aspect of the financial world until every economic decision will be made without any oversight from the public.

Moving in a slightly different direction, the Federal Government is beginning to establish law which removes the ability of the public to have any means of redress against particular corporations. The ‘Monsanto Protection Act’ hidden within the pages of the HR 933 spending bill creates special circumstances that protect the GMO producer from litigation and public examination over the dangerous genetic products it markets. This legislation, in essence, builds a coalition between Monsanto and the government, and even allows Monsanto in some cases to dictate what the government can and cannot do when dealing with GMO’s.

The Obama Administration’s support of this bill should be a shock to any environmentally inclined Democrat, and any Democrat who is still willing to defend Obama after learning of this legislation, in my opinion, is a lost cause.

This move on the part of our government is striking because of its open criminality. It shows that we have entered a new stage of the totalitarian process; one that will invariably lead us to catastrophe.

Legislation By Special Interest Group

In the halls of big government, politicians do not produce major legislation. Rather, bureaucrats and think tanks fashion policy while elected officials serve as mouthpieces and middlemen.

How often do we discover after the passage of particularly nefarious pieces of legislation that the politicians who voted for them NEVER read the bills themselves?

This past week, sources within NY governor Andrew Cuomo’s administration claimed that he didn’t actually read the NY Safe Act before championing it, and blamed the vast mistakes and unconstitutional oversteps of the bill on Mayor Bloomberg and the Brady Center.

Now, I do not believe that Cuomo was not aware of the implications of the Safe Act, even if he didn’t read the bill. But I do believe that the bill was drafted purely by special interest groups like the Brady Center without any oversight from actual state legislators, who then passed it overnight without a second thought.

In a big government system, legislative wrangling is non-stop. A bureaucracy thrives on the endless introduction of new laws and new restrictions, and so it makes perfect sense that political representatives, who now act merely as mascots, never have the time to read all the paperwork. Why would they read it, when they are no longer making decisions on such policies anyway? All they have to do is vote how they are told to vote by their handlers, and trust that they will be protected by the establishment from public anger.

Legislation by proxy is rampant in our government today, and it begs us to consider this – If our government has become so oversized and complex that our elected leaders can no longer oversee the actual writing of legislation and must use private think tanks to write it for them, perhaps we should cut the system down until their work load is manageable. The alternative is a legal and political structure that is engineered entirely by obscure interest groups with an agenda, and this is highly unacceptable.

Complete Disregard For Individual Rights

In the evolution of big government, there comes a point at which the oligarchy has attained enough power that it feels safe in admitting its true intentions. Usually, this is done in the name of the “greater good”. Sometimes, they don’t even try to sugar coat it.

This past week, NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg in an unguarded moment stated the underlying philosophy behind the impositions of government control over the people. When questioned about the Constitutionality of the growing drone surveillance grid in American skies, Bloomberg had this to say:

“Everybody wants their privacy, but I don’t know how you’re going to maintain it. It’s just we’re going into a different world, uncharted, and, like it or not, what people can do, what governments can do, is different. And you can to some extent control, but you can’t keep the tides from coming in.”

“The argument against using automation, it’s this craziness– oh, it’s Big Brother. Get used to it.”

And there you have it. The new age (for Bloomberg and big government elites like him) is a place in which government is separate and above the people. The government does not exist to serve the citizenry; the citizenry exists to serve the government. Privacy is a privilege that governments can take anytime they wish. Citizens, being slaves, should not expect such privileges. And, this subjugated nightmare world is a place that we must accept as a natural extension of progress. Big Brother is the future, so grow up and “get used to it”…

I will not be “getting used to it”, and neither will millions of Americans like me. We’ll tear the whole monstrosity down first.

Institutions of law and order are supposed to reflect the highest inherent principles of humanity and defend those principles regardless of the nature of the times. Honor and conscience do not suddenly become obsolete simply because danger looms, or catastrophe strikes.

Big government bastardizes the original intent of the founders, who formed a small subservient central federal structure to fulfill one purpose – as a protector of the natural freedoms of the population. The federal system was never meant to have any domestic power beyond this task, nor should it. Today, as we have shown over and over again, the centralized political behemoth we live under is absolutely unnecessary and completely destructive to the freedom and prosperity of the culture it was originally tasked to defend. It can and must be dissolved, and it is time for average Americans to deeply and seriously ponder this option rather than ignorantly assume that because it exists, it should exist. Otherwise, like a weaponized cancer, it will devour what is left of the healthy fabric of our society and destroy whatever good remains within us.

Despite having its director filibustered and its very existence threatened by Senate Republicans, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) continues to disseminate useful information for consumers while pointing out the failings of the banking and finance industry. Last week, for example, the agency released a new public database of consumer complaints against mortgage servicing companies that bill and collect payments and handle distressed borrowers and foreclosures.

According to the data, banking giant Bank of America (2012 revenue: $83.33 billion) had by far the worst customer service record, with 15,136 complaints since December 2011, about 300 of them still unresolved. BoA’s record is far out of proportion to the share of mortgage servicing it handles: while the bank services only about 15% of U.S. home loans, it earned 30% of the 50,457 complaints logged.

Two-thirds of the complaints were against BoA’s handling of loan modifications, debt collection and foreclosures, and 20% arose from poor customer service generally.

“By sharing these complaints with the public, we are creating greater transparency in consumer financial products and services,” said CFPB Director Richard Cordray. “The database is good for consumers, and it is also good for honest businesses.” Despite its opposition to both the bureau and Cordray, BoA issued a statement that it supports the goal of “providing greater transparency in banking service.”

Bank of America was not alone in being the target of mortgage-related complaints. Wells Fargo (2012 revenue: $86 billion), which is the No. 1 mortgage service company in the U.S. and handles 21.5% of U.S. home loans, accounted for less than 16% of the complaints.

JPMorgan Chase (2012 revenue: $97 billion), with a 12.7% share of the servicing business, got 10% of the complaints. Citibank (2012 revenue: $70.2 billion), with 5.2% of the business, accounted for 4.8% of the complaints, and U.S. Bancorp (2012 revenue: $20.3 billion), with a 2.9% share, generated 1.7% of the complaints.

The bureau—created in response to the financial crisis caused by reckless behavior on Wall Street — has also released complaint databases about credit cards, student loans, bank accounts and other consumer loans.

Stockman On Bernanke’s Actions: “The Ultimate Consequence Will Be A Train-Wreck”

There is “not a chance,” that the Fed will be able to unwind its balance sheet in an orderly manner, “because everybody is front-running [them],” as the Fed is creating “serial bubbles,” that are increasingly hard to manage since “we’re getting in deeper and deeper every time.” David Stockman has been vociferously honest in the last few days and his Bloomberg Radio interview with Tom Keene was extremely so. While Keene tries his best to remain upbeat and his permabullish self, Stockman just keeps coming with body blow after body blow to the thesis that this ‘recovery’ is sustainable. “They are using a rosy scenario forecast for the next ten years that would make the rosy scenario of the 1981 Reagan administration look like an ugly duckling,,” he exclaims, adding that the Keynesian Krugmanites’ confidence is “disingenuous” – “the elephant in the room – the Fed,” that are for now enabling rates to stay where they are. The full transcript below provides much food for thought but he warns, if the Fed ever pulled back, even modestly, “there would be a tremendous panic sell off in the bond market because it is entirely propped up… It’s to late to go cold turkey.”

On why he’s so gloomy on the U.S. since every time we’ve gotten into this mess we get out of it with technological progress:

We didn’t get out of this mess entirely with technological progress. I believe in it. I believe in the free enterprise economy, and I think it does generate productivity, growth, and wealth over time. What I am arguing in the book is that the machinery of the state has failed badly because we piled on way too much. We are out of control fiscally. It is almost a doomsday machine, I can explain. And second, the central bank is off the deep end with this money printing, which is dramatically distorting and deforming the financial markets. You can’t have capitalism without prices in the bond market, in the debt markets, in the money markets. And the fed has essentially destroyed prices. It administers everything.

On Bill Dudley of the New York Federal Reserve Bank saying that he has confidence we can unwind all the damage we’ve done with a huge balance sheet:

I don’t buy that because that huge balance sheet has gone nowhere. It has stayed right within the canyons of Wall Street. They have taken their balance sheet from $800 billion, which took 94 years to assemble, and in seven weeks they doubled it. They were printing money like $600 million an hour. It is now tripled, quadruple, up to $3.2 trillion.

And what happened? During that period, from September 2, ’08, excess reserves in the banking system went from nothing – $40 billion – to $1.7 trillion today. So the money is staying in the canyons of Wall Street. It funds the carry trade where you can buy anything that might have a return, a yield, a risk asset.

On whether the Fed is going to be able to pull money out of Wall Street in an organized manner:

Not a chance because everybody in Wall Street is basically front running the Fed. What the Fed is buying, the belly of the curve, I am buying. What the Fed is buying, short term, I’m using to fund my position. So no one really owns the treasury bonds today, it is all rented on huge repo spreads. And the minute the yields start heading up a little bit and the bond prices go down, you are going to destroy the arbitrage, the fast money is going to sell, then the slower money is going to have to sell because the fast money is selling. And where is the bid? At the bottom of the market…The Fed never gets up.

On what the alternative is given the deflationary trap that the U.S. is caught in:

I don’t think we are caught in a deflationary trap…Well, because you are suffering, my friend, from the recency bias. Yes, prices in Phoenix are way down, but they are still a heck of a lot higher in real terms than they were in 1995. The only thing that happened is a bubble collapsed which had to because it was an artificial bubble fueled by the Greenspan one percent interest rate policy and now the Fed is basically saying that bubbles can’t collapse, we’ll just do it again…

On whether the Fed is trying to manage the bubble collapse:

Well, we’re getting in deeper and deeper every time. And the ultimate consequence will be more of a train wreck. Today, at 1560 plus or minute, we are at the same point the S&P was in March 2000, 4,750 days ago. We have had two massive collapses in the interim – the dot.com $5 trillion evaporated, the Lehman meltdown $7 trillion evaporated. So it is serial bubble. They are bicycling the thing up and down. It happens in Wall Street.

On whether he has patience that the U.S. will grind its way out and get to a better place five or ten years from now:

No, because the ten year ago forecast said that we would have a surplus in 2012, that revenue would be $3.5 trillion, and it was $2.5 trillion. What they are using today is a rosy scenario forecast for ten years that would make the rosy scenario I did in 1981 in the Reagan administration look like an ugly duckling by comparison. They are saying that we are going to create 17 million jobs in ten years compared to two million in the last ten years, that we are going to go 14 years without a recession. It has never happened in history. Most cycles last 48 months. So when you actually do a forecast based on the last ten years, just say the performance in the last ten years, the growth rate, the business investment, job creation, you have $15 trillion to $20 trillion in deficits in front of us, not $7 trillion. We are not on a glide path going downward.

On what Paul Krugman, Brad DeLong and others are getting wrong right now:

They don’t see the elephant in the room called the Fed, and the other central banks buying hand over fist almost all the treasuries that are being issued. The interest rate is not two percent, that is administered, pegged, set by the fed. Ask yourself, if the Fed said we’re going fishing for six months and we are not going to be in the market, we’re gone, do you think the treasury at ten years would stay two percent? Not a chance…It would go way up. There would be a tremendous panic sell off in the bond market because it is entirely propped up. So therefore, they are disingenuous.

On deposit insurance:

Deposit insurance creates a huge moral hazard in the banking system. Abolish it and if there are blue haired old ladies or other timid people who want to save in a bank, set up a postal banking system that will be backstopped by the government and guaranteed. But commercial banks out in the real world need to have their liabilities monitored by the market just like everybody else or you are going to have moral hazard. So I would say take the big banks out of deposit insurance, that is what I meant…I don’t know that it was necessarily caused by the postal banking system.

I didn’t say the deposit insurance caused the whole bubble. I’m saying deposit insurance and the Fed window, and the Wall Street coddling policies of the Fed, and the low interest rates created these giant banks – $2 trillion balance sheets at JPMorgan, $2 trillion at Citi – that couldn’t be managed and they were able to raise massive amounts of money from depositors who didn’t care because they believed their deposits were guaranteed…It’s a bad system. Banking is a great danger in the United States and in the modern world, and it needs to be fundamentally reformed.

On the Republican party:

That is the problem. We have no conservative party left. The Republicans have simply adopted Keynesianism for the prosperous classes by using the Tax Code for this stimulus, that stimulus, to help this part of the economy or that part of the economy.

On Paul Ryan’s budget plan:

It’s a disgrace because, on the one hand, to give you three examples, one, he repeals Obamacare, says he saves $1.8 billion. I would do that, too. What he doesn’t tell you is he is keeping all the Obama taxes. He has got $1 trillion of Obama taxes hidden in his budget and he is not telling anybody. Second, he gives Medicare and Social Security the huge social insurance programs, some of which goes to the affluent middle class, a pass to ten years, not a cut, $19 trillion. He takes it all out of the safety net, which is only $7 trillion over ten years, a 30 percent cut, actually hitting hard the vulnerable people that have been left behind that we need to do something for. He doesn’t do anything about the defense. He rolls back the sequester and raises defense. We should massively cut defense.

On how much fiscal drag is appropriate:

I don’t think we should have any fiscal drag because the Keynesian formula is simply a program to tax the future generations so that we can live a little better today. It doesn’t matter whether we have one percent growth or negative one percent or positive two percent. We can’t belay massive burdens on future generations because someone finds it inconvenient that our economy can only grow one percent.

On whether he agrees with Glenn Hubbard who suggested that we need to go after entitlements on a long glide path and against the wealthy first:

No, because we have been kicking the can for decades and decades, according to the advice of Keynesians like Hubbard. Hubbard is a complete Keynesian. He is a brilliant guy who told Bush cut taxes in 2001, cut taxes in 2003, oh, while you are at it, go have two unfinanced wars and don’t worry about the deficit because it doesn’t matter. This is the kind of advice Republicans are getting from the likes of Professor Hubbard, and it is no wonder that we are heading towards national bankruptcy. It has got to stop.

On what would happen if we went cold turkey:

It’s too late to go cold turkey. Nobody is going to do it, that is why we are drifting towards the wall. The deficit is much bigger than they are saying. As I indicated, with an honest economic forecast, just like we’ve had for ten years, you are looking at $15 trillion, $20 trillion. You are looking at a national debt $30 trillion.

On whether he believes in American optimism and that we will grow and find a path through this:

No, the optimism was in the people of Main Street, the entrepreneurs, the businessmen, the hard workers, the bus drivers, the farmers. I am attacking the elite. I am attacking the people that run Wall Street, the people inside the Beltway in Washington. I am attacking all of the Keynesian professors from both parties who have gotten us into this idea, just print enough money and we are going to get wealthier, just borrow enough money and we’re going to stimulate the economy.

Ron Paul Speaks at Chilean Conference, Says Abolish the IRS

The love of liberty is not exclusive to the United States.

Evidence of the universality of the “yearning to be free” is found in the enthusiastic reception given to former congressman Ron Paul at an appearance in Santiago, Chile.

The libertarian icon was in Chile’s capital city as part of the annual “Sovereign Man” conference.

According to the event’s organizer Simon Black (an alias), the philosophy informing the meeting is the belief that “in order to achieve true freedom, you have to be able to make money, control your time, and eliminate the mindset that you are subject to a corrupt government that is bent on degrading your personal liberty.”

Sounds like something right up Ron Paul’s alley.

Economic Policy Journal reported that Paul answered the roar of the crowd, declaring, “It sounds like the revolution has gone international!”

Paul’s speech focused on issues of financial freedom.

Based on tweets posted by Jim Rickards, Paul’s message was well-received and consistent with his pro-liberty position.

As reported by Economic Policy Journal’s summary of Rickards’ tweets, Paul said, “The same thing will happen to the Federal Reserve as happened to the Soviet Union.” “The handwriting’s on the wall; the system is failing.”

Ron Paul’s campaign to force the Fed to submit to the will of the people and their elected representatives is renowned.

For the past 30 years, Congressman Ron Paul has worked tirelessly to bring much-needed transparency and accountability to the secretive bank. And in 2009 and 2010 his unfaltering dedication showed astonishing results: HR 1207, the bill to audit the Federal Reserve, swept the country and made the central bankers shudder at their desks. The bill passed as an amendment both in the House Financial Services Committee and in the House itself.

Then, in 2012, his final year in the House, Congressman Ron Paul reintroduced the Audit the Fed bill (H.R. 459), which passed the House 327-98.

How has the Federal Reserve done so much damage to the economy?

First, the unelected governors of the unconstitutional central bank have an absolute stranglehold and monopoly over the flow of our nation’s money and credit. Not once since its inception in 1913 has there ever been a thorough audit or an accounting to Congress about its activities.

During its century-long reign over the financial well-being of our country, the Federal Reserve has inflated our currency to the point where, compared to 100 years ago, it is nearly worthless. Meanwhile Congress has turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to the crisis and the calls to control it.

Since the Federal Reserve’s inception in 1913, the dollar has lost over 95 percent of its purchasing power. Most, if not all, of this precipitous decline was caused by the mindless monetary policy of the Federal Reserve.

The United States of America has been driven to the very edge of a devastating fiscal cliff by the folly of the Federal Reserve and the abdication of its authority by an impotent Congress. Together, these factors add up to $14 trillion in ill-conceived loans and federal bailouts and a crushing national debt of over $16 trillion.

Adding insult to injury, during testimony to Congress in 2009, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke refused to reveal to committee members the names of the institutions that received trillions of dollars from the Fed. Later, he told our elected representatives that he would not disclose the identity of the foreign banks that were parties to sweetheart deals with the Federal Reserve.

Turning his sights on one of the most unconstitutional and destructive agents of federal economic tyranny, Ron Paul reportedly called for the abolishment of the IRS.

“People in Washington say we need to sacrifice. I say abolish the IRS. That’s not a sacrifice, it’s a gift!” Paul reportedly declared.

As with his criticism of the Federal Reserve, Ron Paul’s ire regarding the IRS is nothing new.

In a November 20, 2008 interview in the New York Times, Paul said, “I want to abolish the income tax, but I don’t want to replace it with anything. About 45 percent of all federal revenue comes from the personal income tax. That means that about 55 percent — over half of all revenue — comes from other sources, like excise taxes, fees, and corporate taxes.”

On May 7, 2001, Ron Paul published the “case against the income tax.” He wrote:

Could America exist without an income tax? The idea seems radical, yet in truth America did just fine without a federal income tax for the first 126 years of its history.

Prior to 1913, the government operated with revenues raised through tariffs, excise taxes, and property taxes, without ever touching a worker’s paycheck. In the late 1800s, when Congress first attempted to impose an income tax, the notion of taxing a citizen’s hard work was considered radical! Public outcry ensued; more importantly, the Supreme Court ruled the income tax unconstitutional. Only with passage of the 16th Amendment did Congress gain the ability to tax the productive endeavors of its citizens.

Yet don’t we need an income tax to fund the important functions of the federal government? You may be surprised to know that the income tax accounts for only approximately one-third of federal revenue. Only 10 years ago, the federal budget was roughly one-third less than it is today. Surely we could find ways to cut spending back to 1990 levels, especially when the Treasury has single year tax surpluses for the past several years. So perhaps the idea of an America without an income tax is not so radical after all.

The harmful effects of the income tax are obvious. First and foremost, it has enabled government to expand far beyond its proper constitutional limits, regulating virtually every aspect of our lives. It has given government a claim on our lives and work, destroying our privacy in the process. It takes billions of dollars out of the legitimate private economy, with most Americans giving more than a third of everything they make to the federal government. This economic drain destroys jobs and penalizes productive behavior. The ridiculous complexity of the tax laws makes compliance a nightmare for both individuals and businesses. All things considered, our Founders would be dismayed by the income tax mess and the tragic loss of liberty which results.

Rickards reported that Ron Paul’s Santiago speech ran 20 minutes over, but “no one minded at all. The audience hung on every word.”

Mexican Drug Cartels Operating Inside American Borders

The real terrorists among us are Mexican drug cartels. Apparently they are no longer an issue that can be dealt with through Border Patrol Agents. That’s right, they are in our midst.

According to Breitbart,

A national security expert who has spent several years in intelligence gathering operations around the Mexican drug cartels’ criminal insurgency into the continental United States told Breitbart News, “This assassination of DA McClellend and his wife is meant to send a message: no one is safe, no one is beyond our reach. We will kill you and your loved ones. We are in control here.”

“This is a significant point of escalation in the crisis,” he continued. “This type of high-profile targeting of public officials is a classic insurgent tactic. Its escalating use inside the US shows a complete lack of fear of consequences and demonstrates the fundamental shift in the strategic landscape that has already occurred.

“The criminal insurgencies and their gang foot soldiers have exported the type of warfare that brought Mexico to its knees deep into our sovereign territory. They are waging a war: targeting, assassinating, using terror tactics—and our law enforcement is outgunned and overwhelmed.”

Breitbart News interviewed McLelland several weeks ago as part of an investigation into Mexican drug cartel criminal insurgency operations in the United States, including Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and the city of Chicago. Breitbart News’s Brandon Darby conducted the interview with D.A. McLelland in his office in Kaufman, TX.

McLelland spoke about the recent assassination of his Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse, who was himself gunned down in broad daylight on the Kaufman County Courthouse steps by a masked gunman who has yet to be apprehended.

Also, on March 19, Colorado’s prisons director, Tom Clements, was shot and killed while answering his front doorbell at his home outside Colorado Springs. The suspect in that case was Evan Spencer Ebel, a member of a white supremacist prison gang, later shot while trying to escape authorities on March 21st.

The Associated Press is also describing the far reaching extent of the cartels in our own country:

Mexican drug cartels whose operatives once rarely ventured beyond the U.S. border are dispatching some of their most trusted agents to live and work deep inside the United States — an emboldened presence that experts believe is meant to tighten their grip on the world’s most lucrative narcotics market and maximize profits.

If left unchecked, authorities say, the cartels’ move into the American interior could render the syndicates harder than ever to dislodge and pave the way for them to expand into other criminal enterprises such as prostitution, kidnapping-and-extortion rackets and money laundering.

But a wide-ranging Associated Press review of federal court cases and government drug-enforcement data, plus interviews with many top law enforcement officials, indicate the groups have begun deploying agents from their inner circles to the U.S. Cartel operatives are suspected of running drug-distribution networks in at least nine non-border states, often in middle-class suburbs in the Midwest, South and Northeast.

Amazon and CIA ink cloud deal

In a move sure to send ripples through the federal IT community, FCW has learned that the CIA has agreed to a cloud computing contract with electronic commerce giant Amazon, worth up to $600 million over 10 years.

Amazon Web Services will help the intelligence agency build a private cloud infrastructure that helps the agency keep up with emerging technologies like big data in a cost-effective manner not possible under the CIA’s previous cloud efforts, sources told FCW.

Amazon officials would not confirm the existence of the contract, and a CIA spokesperson likewise declined to comment on the matter.

“As a general rule, the CIA does not publicly disclose details of our contracts, the identities of our contractors, the contract values, or the scope of work,” a CIA spokesperson told FCW.

In recent speaking engagements, however, CIA officials have hinted at significant upcoming changes to the way the agency procures software, how it uses big-data analytics and the ways in which it incorporates commercial-sector innovation.

Speaking to the Northern Virginia Technology Council Board of Directors on March 12, Central Intelligence Agency Chief Information Officer Jeanne Tisinger told an audience of several dozen people how the CIA is leveraging the commercial sector’s innovation cycle, looking for cost efficiencies in commodity IT, and using software-as-a-service for common solutions.

Two audience members who asked not to be named told FCW that Tisinger said the CIA was working “with companies like Amazon.”

CIA Chief Technology Officer Gus Hunt would not respond to FCW’s questions about the Amazon deal, but did drop the firm’s name in relation to software procurement during a conference organized by the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association’s Washington, D.C. chapter in February. Hunt was quoted by Reuters as saying, “Think Amazon – that model really works,” regarding the purchasing of software services on a “metered” basis for which Amazon is well-known for. Hunt has also spoken publicly in the past about the potential for leveraging public cloud infrastructure for non-classified information.

Historically, the CIA’s cloud computing strategy centered on a number of smaller, highly specific private clouds. While the full scope of its current contract with Amazon is not yet clear, it is likely this contract essentially brings a public cloud computing environment inside the secure firewalls of the intelligence community, thereby negating concerns of classified data being hosted in any public environment.

A senior U.S. intelligence official told FCW that IT enterprise decisions within intelligence agencies are framed around the Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) strategy.

That strategy outlines five goals and “promotes greater integration, information sharing, and information safeguarding through a common (intelligence community) IT approach that substantially reduces costs.”

The strategy’s language suggests other intelligence agencies may benefit through shared information from the private cloud created through the CIA-Amazon deal.

Industry experts, while stressing that they were not privy to the deal’s details, told FCW that such a move would be a “game-changer” in federal IT, and that it would show the CIA is acting intelligently with regards to emerging technologies and tightening budgets.

And Dave Powner, director of IT management issues at the Government Accountability Office, told FCW he was unfamiliar with the CIA-Amazon deal, but stated it would make sense – especially given spending cuts across the board at most agencies.

“I’m not aware of that contract but I think in times of reducing budget situations you would expect to see agencies that haven’t considered cloud solutions extensively in the past would be looking more and more of doing something along those lines,” Powner said.

Users regularly receive this “Security Alert” when they click articles VacTruth.com posts on Facebook.

As you can see from the alert, Facebook uses a partner named Web of Trust (WOT), owned by Sami Tolvanen and Timo Ala-Kleemola of Finland, to filter out “abusive” websites. [1]

But the real question is who and what is Web of Trust?

At one point, this functionality was enabled for VacTruth.com, but now it has mysteriously been disabled. Why?

As you can see from the graphics, the responses to our site are overwhelmingly positive, yet the rating is extremely negative. This is one example of how a handful of power users have completely tanked the reputation rankings of the site.

I want to focus your attention on one power user in particular named SuperHero58 – trust me, you’ll want to stick around for this.

This particular power user can be seen posting negative comments on not only VacTruth.com, but also:

And if we look at the statistics for this particular power user, we can see he has rated over 561,760 websites since his account was created in May of 2010!

That is an average of 527 Ratings per Day, or 21 posts an hour for 1066 days. Does that seem a bit fishy – or better yet, spammy – to you? I seriously doubt this person visited all of the sites they rated. But, it gets better.

This screenshot of power user SuperHero58′s profile shows he has posted over 561,760 website ratings since May of 2010.

Since the whole premise of WOT is anonymity, we can’t actually prove the identity of SuperHero58. However, I think we can come close.

While doing a little digging, I came across this forum post showing SuperHero58 complaining about the WOT search engine in the first person, implicating that SuperHero58 is one of the owners, or someone highly vested in the company.

Here is what a Web of Trust forum post by SuperHero58 says:

“… I am not the average person and I do believe that my Wot Search, can and it will become # 1

We already have over 35 million users base, I do agree that we need a strong and super aggressive distribution, but also more exposure

I get very upset whenever I see advertised computer products, but never anything about WOT, not even a mention of it

I remember the first time I saw someone wearing a T shirt with the logo of Fire Fox, it caught my attention and that is how I got FF, I love word of mouth, but I will like for the people of the World to know that WOT has a search engine; money comes afterwards, never before

Are we good?

Think about this, as there are a few options to consider here.

First to ponder is this specific forum post could be complete nonsense and written by someone who is highly delusional. Or…

We can ask a question like, “Why would this person want a movie to be made about WOT and want ‘George Clooney to play me?’”

Who is “me” referring to?

Is this Sami or Timo – one of the owners? If it isn’t, it seems like someone close to them who is highly vested in the success of WOT. Don’t you think?

If this is one of the owners, then WOT is pushing their own agenda by negatively rating websites firsthand!

This issue isn’t to be taken lightly, as it is censoring important information. It would also bring into question who is privately investing in this company and what their agenda is. Who are these private investors? Pharmaceutical companies? Bankers?

I’m highly suspicious of WOT and deeply concerned about their ability to censor information. Furthermore, it appears that there are people in power that can affect your ability to get vital information with the stroke of a few keys.

Ultimately, it’s you – the parents – who are censored.

DHS Says They Can Seize Your Gold, Silver, And Guns If They Feel Like It

Last week, we learned that Cyprus, yet another bankrupt EU country, was going to try to replenish its wealth by confiscating money from all but smallest accounts held in its banks. Things were so bad that officials were warning depositors to “get your money out while you can.” In America, we looked on horrified, grateful that it can’t happen here. Except that maybe it can.

The Investment Watch blog is working to confirm reports that banks are circulating in-house memos telling employees that the DHS has announced that the Patriot Act gives it the right to seize, without a warrant, any and all customer bank accounts, to make “periodic and unannounced visits” to banks, and to open and inspect “select safe deposit boxes.”
These same memos also say that the DHS “shall, at the discretion of the agent supervising the search, remove, photograph or seize as evidence” such items as “bar gold, gold coins , firearms of any kind unless manufactured prior to 1878, documents such as passports or foreign bank account records, pornography or any material that, in the opinion of the agent, shall be deemed of to be of a contraband nature.”

The memo also warns bank employees to keep their mouths shut. They can lose their jobs and be prosecuted under the Patriot Act if they release “improper . . . classified DHS Security information” to the public, including customers whose safe deposit boxes the DHS has inspected. Bank employees are also barred from taking to the media or releasing information on the internet.

As noted, Investment Watch is in the process of confirming this report. It’s not hard, though, to believe that it’s true. To date, the DHS has given itself an open checkbook to buy billions of bullets and thousands of tanks and guns. Moreover, it has held itself out as being above the law, since it has refused to respond to Congressional requests from Rep. Leonard Lance (R-NJ) as well as from fifteen other Republican House members, demanding information about the DHS buying binge, including giving information about the urban warfare tanks that it is shipping all over the United States. Small wonder, then, that so many Americans view it with suspicion.

Are America’s treasured National Parks being co-opted by the New World Order under the guise of designating them World Heritage Sites, thus allowing foreign troops and United Nations agencies to take over our country in a soft coup d’etat? A blogger has photographed heavily equipped armored vehicles carrying the “Special Response Team” logo in and around the Great Smoky Mountains National Heritage site in Gatlinburg, TN. (1) ”It is a deadly serious piece of equipment never before used inside the US until now,” says the blogger “Sherrie” who then adds, “The vehicles don’t come more heavily armored.”

Sherrie has put up several pictures of these in-country tanks which she said she saw on and near Interstate 75 when she was traveling back roads near Winchester, Richmond, KY, and lists Rt. # 627 as an area of interest. “This spot is (around) the US Army Chemical Depot” which covers 14,000 acres in Kentucky backwoods,” the blogger says on the video which the Liberty web site is putting up for general viewing. She mentions chemical weapons involving 523 tons of nerve agents and shows aerial photography of train tracks going up to several buildings in this compound! “I’m not sure what they are,” she says, positing the notion of a possible FEMA camp in the Kentucky woods.

Now in addition to sighting of MRAP vehicles, “Sherrie” tells readers that “Russians were stopping and questioning people in the Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain Parks region.” She quotes a high ranking individual in a local area state militia organization who she says she trusts as being truthful. The scenario developed when these apparently foreign troops wearing DHS uniforms with the Eagle insignia tried to enter Tennessee from Kentucky. “They were NOT Americans. . .appeared to be Russian or Eastern European!”

Folks, this designation and UN involvement coincides with the ten region DHS map of the United States! Has this under-the-radar give away of America already taken place, thus allowing the constitutionally prohibited onus of foreign troops being stationed on American soil? To add fluoride to the public water supply or salt is mass drugging, an invasion of our most intimate space. Yet, it’s now commonly added to salt. In some countries it’s required—even in what can then not possibly be defined as natural or organic salt.

Are you adding fluoride to your toxic intake when you use salt? In several major European countries, India, and Japan, salt fluoridation is routine. Of course, the usual excuse is that it’s good for teeth, but that claim is highly questionable. While topical treatment may be beneficial, ingestion offers no benefit, and fluoride is highly toxic.

In spite of its known toxicity, many countries are now requiring that salt be fluoridated, and most of the others are not far behind.

If you think that fluoride in water is a problem, then you’d best start looking at your salt. In many places in Europe and South America, salt is fluoridated. The reasons given are exactly the same as for water fluoridation. It’s supposed to be good for your teeth. Whether you agree with that statement or not, you’re subjected to it without your consent. It’s in most popular toothpastes. It’s in more and more water supplies. It’s a primary ingredient in a host of pharmaceutical drugs. It’s the toxic element of many pesticides. And it’s in your salt, or likely will be soon.

Fluoride is a poison that is more potent than lead.

Fluoride Toxicity

The most common indication that too much fluoride has been ingested is fluorosis of the teeth, which initially appears as a discoloration. More advanced cases will have brown and black stains, and the teeth become pitted. This damage is the result of demineralization of teeth during early childhood.

The claim that ingested fluoride makes tooth enamel stronger is clearly suspect. If it’s known that it demineralizes teeth, thus resulting in fluorosis, how can it possibly make them stronger?

Deformities Caused by Fluorosis

Fluorosis involving bones causes horrific deformities, as the image to the right shows.
The pineal gland is a major accumulator of fluoride. This fact was not discovered until the 1990s, and it’s implications have not received much study.
Fluoride poisons kidneys.
Fluoride is a primary ingredient in many pesticides, a significant part of why they’re poisonous.
In 1987 and 1990, the Journal of Dental Research documented that a single tube of children’s fluoridated toothpaste is enough to kill a 9-year-old child.

This is merely a smattering of fluoride facts. If you still have any doubts about its toxicity, then consider the fact that every tube of fluoridated toothpaste sold in America carries this notice:

WARNING: Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately.

Yes, fluoride is that toxic. And now there’s pressure building—mostly kept out of the public’s awareness—to put it in salt. Toothpaste and water apparently aren’t enough fluoride poisoning.

The chart on the right is an easy-to-see representation of the relative toxicity of lead, fluoride, and arsenic. In light of this, it’s incomprehensible that the EPA justifies these allowances in public water supplies:

Arsenic: 10 ppb
Lead: 15 ppb
Fluoride: 4000 ppb

Fluoride is a chemical that is known to be more toxic than lead. The maximum amount of lead allowed in drinking water in the US is 15 parts per billion, and there are concerns that even that amount may be too high. Yet, the US actually adds fluoride to drinking water.

Where Salt Is Currently Fluoridated

Several countries are already adding fluoride to salt. If you live in parts of Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, France, and Scotland, your salt is most likely fluoridated, unless you use natural sea salt. Other countries currently adding fluoride to salt include Colombia, Costa Rica, Grenada, Hungary, India, Jamaica, Lebanon, Mexico, Japan, Okinawa, and Uruguay.

You aren’t safe if your country isn’t listed. A world-wide movement exists to push salt fluoridation, and many salt manufacturers add fluoride, even when not required required.

Wherever you are, be sure to read the label when you purchase salt!

Unless the public campaigns against it, you can assume it will become a requirement within the next few months or years. PAHO, a subsidiary of WHO, actively supports the application. In this day of so-called harmonization of rules regarding foods and supplements, what is pushed by WHO is rapidly becoming law in all countries. The United States, through the FDA, is an active participant.

By the way, salt and water are not the only foods that are fluoridated. In Jamaica, milk is fluoridated!

Fluoride Is Not A Nutrient

The bottom line is that fluoride has no place in any metabolic process in the human body. Any benefits it may provide must be balanced against the extensive and severe risks.

As with so much else involving modern medicine, the problem is that it tries to find a fix, a stop-gap, rather than searching for the root cause. Dental decay is a serious issue. It is not, though, caused by a lack of fluoride. Even if taking it at a certain dose is beneficial to teeth—and that is not an established fact—it is a substance that doesn’t belong in the human body. It must, therefore, be considered a drug. To add fluoride to the public water supply or salt is mass drugging, an invasion of our most intimate space.
