Too Many Years Of Lies: From Mossadeq to 9/11

Washington has been at war for 12 years. According to experts such as Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes, these wars have cost Americans approximately $6 trillion, enough to keep Social Security and Medicare sound for years. All there is to show for 12 years of war is fat bank balances for the armament industries and a list of destroyed countries with millions of dead and dislocated people who never lifted a hand against the United States.

The cost paid by American troops and taxpayers is extreme. Secretary of Veteran Affairs Erik Shinseki reported in November 2009 that “more veterans have committed suicide since 2001 than we have lost on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan.” Many thousands of our troops have suffered amputations and traumatic brain injuries. At the Marine Corps War College Jim Lacey calculated that the annual cost of the Afghan war was $1.5 billion for each al-Qaeda member in Afghanistan. Many US and coalition troops paid with their lives for every one al-Qaeda member killed. On no basis has the war ever made sense.

Washington’s wars have destroyed the favorable image of the United States created over the decades of the cold war. No longer the hope of mankind, the US today is viewed as a threat whose government cannot be trusted.

The wars that have left America’s reputation in tatters are the consequence of 9/11. The neoconservatives who advocate America’s hegemony over the world called for “a new Pearl Harbor” that would allow them to launch wars of conquest. Their plan for conquering the Middle East as their starting point was set out in the neoconservative “Project for the New American Century.” It was stated clearly by Commentary editor Norman Podhoretz and also by many neoconservatives.

The neocon argument boils down to a claim that history has chosen “democratic capitalism” and not Karl Marx as the future. To comply with history’s choice, the US must beef up its military and impose the American Way on the entire world.

In other words, as Claes Ryn wrote, the American neoconservatives are the “new Jacobins,” a reference to the French Revolution of 1789 that intended to overthrow aristocratic Europe and replace it with “Liberty, equality, fraternity,” but instead gave Europe a quarter century of war, death, and destruction.

Ideologies are dangerous, because they are immune to facts. Now that the United States is no longer governed by the US Constitution, but by a crazed ideology that has given rise to a domestic police state more complete than that of Communist East Germany and to a warfare state that attacks sovereign countries based on nothing but manufactured lies, we are left with the irony that Russia and China are viewed as constraints on Washington’s ability to inflict evil, death, and destruction on the world.

The two pariah states of the 20th century have become the hope of mankind in the 21st century!

As Oliver Stone and Peter Kuznick prove in their book, The Untold History of the United States, the American government has never deserved its white hat reputation. Washington has been very successful in dressing up its crimes in moralistic language and hiding them in secrecy. It is only decades after events that the truth comes out.

For example, on August 19, 1953, the democratically elected government of Iran was overthrown by a coup instigated by the US government. Sixty years after the event declassified CIA documents detail how the secret CIA operation overthrew a democratic government and imposed Washington’s puppet on the people of Iran.

In the 21st century Washington is attempting to repeat its 1953 feat of overthrowing the Iranian government, this time using the faux “green revolution” financed by Washington.
When that fails, Washington will rely on military action.

If 60 years is the time that must pass before Washington’s crimes can be acknowledged, the US government will admit the truth about September 11, 2001 on September 11, 2061. In 2013, on this 12th anniversary of 9/11, we only have 48 years to go before Washington admits the truth. Alas, the members of the 9/11 truth movement will not still be alive to receive their vindication.

But just as it has been known for decades that Washington overthrew Mossadeq,
we already know that the official story of 9/11 is hogwash.

No evidence exists that supports the government’s 9/11 story. The 9/11 Commission was a political gathering run by a neoconservative White House operative. The Commission members sat and listened to the government’s story and wrote it down. No investigation of any kind was made. One member of the Commission resigned, saying that the fix was in. After the report was published, both co-chairmen of the Commission and the legal counsel wrote books disassociating themselves from the report. The 9/11 Commission was “set up to fail,” they wrote.

NIST’s account of the structural failure of the twin towers is a computer simulation based on assumptions chosen to produce the result. NIST refuses to release its make-believe explanation for expert scrutiny. The reason is obvious. NIST’s explanation of the structural failure of the towers cannot survive scrutiny.

There are many 9/11 Truth organizations whose members are high-rise architects,
structural engineers, physicists, chemists and nano-chemists, military and civilian airline pilots, firemen and first responders, former prominent government officials, and 9/11 families. The evidence they have amassed overwhelms the feeble official account.

It has been proven conclusively that World Trade Center Building 7 fell at free fall which can only be achieved by controlled demolition that removes all resistance below to debris falling from above so that no time is lost in overcoming resistance from intact structures. NIST has acknowledged this fact, but has not changed its story.

In other words, still in America today official denial takes precedence over science and
known undisputed facts.

On this 12th anniversary of a false flag event, it is unnecessary for me to report the voluminous evidence that conclusively proves that the official story is a lie. You can read it for yourself. It is available online. You can read what the architects and engineers have to say. You can read the scientists’ reports. You can hear from the first responders who were in the WTC towers. You can read the pilots who say that the maneuvers associated with the airliner that allegedly hit the Pentagon are beyond their skills and most certainly were not performed by inexperienced pilots.

Actually, you do not need any of the expert evidence to know that the US government’s story is false. As I have previously pointed out, had a few young Saudi Arabians, the alleged 9/11 hijackers, been capable of outwitting, without support from any government and intelligence service, not only the CIA and FBI, but all sixteen US intelligence services, the intelligence services of Washington’s NATO allies and Israel’s Mossad, the National Security Council, NORAD, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Traffic Control, and defeat Airport Security four times in one hour on the same morning, the White House, Congress, and the media would have been demanding an investigation of how the National Security State could so totally fail.

Instead, the President of the United States and every government office fiercely resisted any investigation. It was only after a year of demands and rising pressure from the 9/11 families that the 9/11 Commission was created to bury the issue.

No one in government was held accountable for the astonishing failure. The national security state was defeated by a few rag tag Muslims with box cutters and a sick old man dying from renal failure while holed up in a cave in Afghanistan, and no heads rolled.

The total absence from the government for demands for an investigation of an event that is the greatest embarrassment to a “superpower” in world history is a complete give-away that 9/11was a false flag event. The government did not want any investigation, because the government’s cover story cannot stand investigation.

The government could rely on the mega-media corporations in whose hands the corrupt Clinton regime concentrated the US media. By supporting rather than investigating the government’s cover story, the media left the majority of Americans, who are sensitive to peer pressure, without any support for their doubts. Effectively, the American Ministry of Propaganda validated the government’s false story.

Common everyday experiences of Americans refute the government’s story. Consider, for example, self-cleaning ovens. How many American homes have them? Thirty million? More? Do you have one?

Do you know what temperature self-cleaning ovens reach? The self-cleaning cycle runs for several hours at 900 degrees Fahrenheit or 482 degrees Celsius. Does your self-cleaning oven melt at 482 degrees Celsius. No, it doesn’t. Does the very thin, one-eighth inch steel soften and your oven collapse? No, it doesn’t.

Keep that in mind while you read this: According to tests performed by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), only 2% of the WTC steel tested by NIST reached temperatures as high as 250 degrees Celsius, about half the temperature reached by your self-cleaning oven. Do you believe that such low temperatures on such small areas of the WTC towers caused the massive, thick, steel columns in the towers to soften and permit the collapse of the buildings? If you do, please explain why your self-cleaning oven doesn’t weaken and collapse.

In Section E.5 of the Executive Summary in this NIST report http://www.nist.gov/customcf/get_pdf.cfm?pub_id=101019 it says: “A method was developed using microscopic observations of paint cracking to determine whether steel members had experienced temperatures in excess of 250 degrees C. More than 170 areas were examined . . . Only three locations had a positive result indicating that the steel and paint may have reached temperatures in excess of 250 degrees C.” Analysis of steel “microstructures show no evidence of exposure to temperatures above 600 degrees C for any significant time.”

In section 3.6 of the NIST report http://www.nist.gov/customcf/get_pdf.cfm?pub_id=860495 NIST states: “NIST believes that this collection of steel from the WTC towers is adequate for purposes of the investigation.”

How did these truths get out? My explanation is that the NIST scientists, resentful of the threat to their jobs and future employment opportunities and chaffing under the order to produce a false report, revealed the coerced deception by including information that their political masters did not understand. By stating unequivocally the actual temperatures, NIST’s scientists put the lie to the coerced report.

The melting point of steel is around 1,500 degrees C. or 2,600 degrees F. Steel can lose strength at lower temperatures, but the NIST scientists reported that only a small part of the steel was even subjected to moderate temperatures less than those obtained by the self-cleaning oven in your home.

If you need to think about this a bit more, obtain a copy of The Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes. Have a look at the streetcar in photo 108. The caption reads: “The Hiroshima fireball instantly raised surface temperatures within a mile of the hypocenter well above 1,000 degrees F.” Is the streetcar a melted lump of steel? No, it is structurally intact, although blackened with burnt paint.

Washington would have you believe that steel that survived intact the atomic bomb would melt from low temperature, short lived, isolated office fires. What do you think of a government that believes that you are that stupid?

Who would support a government that lies every time it opens its mouth?

The three WTC buildings that were destroyed were massive heat sinks. I doubt that
the limited, short-lived, low temperature fires in the buildings even warmed the massive steel structures to the touch.

Moreover, not a single steel column melted or deformed from softening. The columns
were severed at specific lengths by extremely high temperature charges placed on the columns.

On this 12th anniversary of 9/11, ask yourself if you really want to believe that temperatures half those reached by your self-cleaning oven caused three massive steel structures to crumble into dust.

Then ask yourself why your government thinks you are so totally stupid as to believe such a fairy tale as your government has told you about 9/11.

New Software Mimics Human Brain

A new kind of programming language modelled on the functions of the human brain is being created by IBM’s Silicon Valley researchers led by computer scientist Dharmendra Modha. Still in it’s early stages the project’s focus is on recreating biological intelligence. The software enables computers to perceive and understand their surroundings in sophisticated ways such as identifying colour and distinguishing between sounds. The applications allow computers to discern subtleties and respond instantly.

To support the software IBM have begun work on a new kind of hardware based on the structure of the human brain. The current hardware structure comprising a central processor, memory system and storage has been discarded by the company in favour of a structure modeled on the human brain. The new chip, named the neurosynaptic core, integrates processor, memory and communications, mimicking the neurons and synapses in the brain.

The team foresees the technology being used to provide headsets for the blind or visually impaired. The headsets will use sensors to detect obstacles and aid the wearer in navigating their surroundings. It could also be employed as a solar-powered device floating on the sea and detecting oil spills. In business, it could offer enhanced decision-making capabilities, helping to solve difficult problems.

Until now, computing capabilities have been significantly stronger than humans in terms of methodical processing handling large amounts of data. However the human capacity for creative and adaptive thinking has not been matched in the technological realm. Peter Cochrane, a futurologist and analyst at Cochrane Associates observes that “We are trying to deal with an increasingly complex and chaotic world with biological brains that are fundamentally unsuited to the task. We can only deal with three to five variable/topics/tasks at a time – yet we live in a world where we are often faced with hundreds.”

The new systems created at IBM could offer essential assistance in dealing with our increasingly fast-paced and evolving environment. However they do not possess defining biological qualities such as instinct, intuition and emotion states. Cochrane suggests that for us to cope in the changing modern landscape and to prosper as we enter the future and evolve then we need to create a seamless and complementary relationship with our machines.

Map: Where You Don’t Want to Be When It Hits the Fan

When it hits the fan America’s population centers will explode in violence, looting, and total breakdown of law and order.

It’s a theory put forth by numerous survival and relocation specialists, and one that makes complete sense if you consider what happens in a truly serious collapse-like scenario.

Survival Blog founder James Rawles calls them the golden horde:

Because of the urbanization of the U.S. population, if the entire eastern or western power grid goes down for more than a week, the cities will rapidly become unlivable. I foresee that there will be an almost unstoppable chain of events:

Power -> water -> food distribution -> law and order -> arson fires -> full scale looting

In his recent documentary Strategic Relocation, retreat expert Joel Skousen echoes Rawles’ warnings:

The number one threat that I concentrate on. It’s not terrorism, it’s not natural disaster, it’s not even government or war.

The major threat is population density.

Because every crisis that threatens, even a local crisis, can turn exponential because of close proximity to people who cannot help themselves. Even good people panic in a crisis…

So, where should you be when it happens?

To find the answer, let’s consider where we shouldn’t be.

Recent U.S. census data indicates that out of the 3000 counties in the United States, fully 50% of the population lives in just 146.

If you want to have any chance of surviving a wide-spread catastrophic event by avoiding the hordes that will be searching for critical resources in its aftermath, then check out the following map to get a visual reference of the areas you want to stay away from.

When considering your retreat locations or emergency evacuation routes, be familiar with the population densities of the area you’re headed to, as well as those counties in your immediate vicinity.

In his book Patriots, James Rawles specifically points out that Highway 80, running through California, will be one of the busiest evacuation routes in the country as millions of people pour out of major cities to flee disaster or in search of food.

So, no matter where you are located, consider your proximity to high traffic thoroughfares going in and out of the city. During Hurricane Rita, which hit Houston several years ago, every major pipeline out of the city was jammed for hundreds of miles. Interstate 45 from Houston to Dallas was bumper to bumper traffic. Normally a 4 hour trip, those who didn’t evacuate in time were stuck on the highway without food, gas, sanitation, or potable water for upwards of 15 hours.

This is why Joel Skousen suggests that those looking for strategic retreat locations or homes outside of major cities consider highway proximity. Be at least 5 – 7 miles away from any major thoroughfare, which is generally outside the range people want to venture off familiar roads, and far enough away to make any ‘walkers’ too tired to attempt the trip without ample clean water and food.

If you have no choice but to be in a major metro area during a serious emergency situation, consider strategies that can help you remain sustainable in the city even in the midst of panic.

Merck vaccine developer admits vaccines routinely contain hidden cancer viruses derived from diseased monkeys

If you haven’t yet realized the truth about how vaccines contain hidden cancer viruses, prepare yourself to be shocked by the admission you’re about to hear. Decades ago, one of the most prominent vaccine scientists in the history of the vaccine industry — a Merck scientist — made a recording where he openly admitted that vaccines given to Americans were contaminated with leukemia and cancer viruses.

In hearing this admission, his colleagues (who are also recorded here) break into laughter and seem to think it’s hilarious. They then suggest that because these vaccines are first tested in Russia, their side effects will help the U.S. win the Olympics because the Russian athletes will all be “loaded down with tumors.”

For the record, this is the same vaccine that was given to tens of millions of Americans and promoted by the government. To this day, people still carry these hidden cancer viruses which have proven to be a boon to the cancer industry.

Why vaccine scientists lie to the public

The presence of SV40 cancer viruses in vaccines isn’t some conspiracy theory, by the way: these are the words of a top Merck scientist who probably had no idea that his recording would be widely heard across the internet one day. He probably thought this conversation would remain a secret forever. When asked why this didn’t get out to the press, he replied “Obviously you don’t go out, this is a scientific affair within the scientific community.”

In other words, vaccine scientists cover for vaccine scientists. They keep all their dirty secrets within their own circle of silence and don’t reveal the truth about the contamination of their vaccines.

Dr. Horowitz: Listen now to the voice of the worlds leading vaccine expert Dr Maurice Hilleman, Chief of the Merck Pharmaceutical Company’s vaccine division relay this problem he was having with imported monkeys. He best explains the origin of AIDS, but what you are about to hear was cut from any public disclosures.

Dr Maurice Hilleman: and I think that vaccines have to be considered the bargain basement technology for the 20th century.

Narrator: 50 years ago when Maurice Hilleman was a high school student in Miles City Montana, he hoped he might qualify as a management trainee for the local JC Penney’s store. Instead he went on to pioneer more breakthroughs in vaccine research and development than anyone in the history of American medicine. Among the discoveries he made at Merck, are vaccines for mumps, rubella and measles…

Dr Edward Shorter: Tell me how you found SV40 and the polio vaccine.

Dr Maurice Hilleman: Well, that was at Merck. Yeah, I came to Merck. And uh, I was going to develop vaccines. And we had wild viruses in those days. You remember the wild monkey kidney viruses and so forth? And I finally after 6 months gave up and said that you cannot develop vaccines with these damn monkeys, we’re finished and if I can’t do something I’m going to quit, I’m not going to try it. So I went down to see Bill Mann at the zoo in Washington DC and I told Bill Mann, I said “look, I got a problem and I don’t know what the hell to do.” Bill Mann is a real bright guy. I said that these lousy monkeys are picking it up while being stored in the airports in transit, loading, off loading. He said, very simply, you go ahead and get your monkeys out of West Africa and get the African Green, bring them into Madrid unload them there, there is no other traffic there for animals, fly them into Philadelphia and pick them up. Or fly them into New York and pick them up, right off the airplane. So we brought African Greens in and I didn’t know we were importing the AIDS virus at the time.

Miscellaneous background voices:…(laughter)… it was you who introduced the AIDS virus into the country. Now we know! (laughter) This is the real story! (laughter) What Merck won’t do to develop a vaccine! (laughter)

Dr Maurice Hilleman: So what he did, he brought in, I mean we brought in those monkeys, I only had those and this was the solution because those monkeys didn’t have the wild viruses but we…

Dr Edward Shorter: Wait, why didn’t the greens have the wild viruses since they came from Africa?

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …because they weren’t, they weren’t, they weren’t being infected in these group holding things with all the other 40 different viruses…

Dr Edward Shorter: but they had the ones that they brought from the jungle though…

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …yeah, they had those, but those were relatively few what you do you have a gang housing you’re going to have an epidemic transmission of infection in a confined space. So anyway, the greens came in and now we have these and were taking our stocks to clean them up and god now I’m discovering new viruses. So, I said Judas Priest. Well I got an invitation from the Sister Kinney Foundation which was the opposing foundation when it was the live virus…

Dr Edward Shorter: Ah, right…

Dr Maurice Hilleman: Yeah, they had jumped on the Sabin’s band wagon and they had asked me to come down and give a talk at the Sister Kinney Foundation meeting and I saw it was an international meeting and god, what am I going to talk about? I know what I’m going to do, I’m going to talk about the detection of non detectable viruses as a topic.

Dr Albert Sabin …there were those who didn’t want a live virus vaccine… (unintelligible) …concentrated all its efforts on getting more and more people to use the killed virus vaccine, while they were supporting me for research on the live viruses.

Dr Maurice Hilleman: So now I got to have something (laughter), you know that going to attract attention. And gee, I thought that damn SV40, I mean that damn vaculating agent that we have, I’m just going to pick that particular one, that virus has got to be in vaccines, it’s got to be in the Sabin’s vaccines so I quick tested it (laughter) and sure enough it was in there.

Dr Edward Shorter: I’ll be damned

Dr Maurice Hilleman: … And so now…

Dr Edward Shorter: …so you just took stocks of Sabin’s vaccines off the shelf here at Merck…

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …yeah, well it had been made, it was made at Merck…

Dr Edward Shorter: You were making it for Sabin at this point?

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …Yeah, it was made before I came…

Dr Edward Shorter: yeah, but at this point Sabin is still just doing massive field trials…

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …uh huh

Dr Edward Shorter: okay,

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …in Russia and so forth. So I go down and I talked about the detection of non detectable viruses and told Albert, I said listen Albert you know you and I are good friends but I’m going to go down there and you’re going to get upset. I’m going to talk about the virus that it’s in your vaccine. You’re going to get rid of the virus, don’t worry about it, you’re going to get rid of it… but umm, so of course Albert was very upset…

Dr Edward Shorter: What did he say?

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …well he said basically, that this is just another obfuscation that’s going to upset vaccines. I said well you know, you’re absolutely right, but we have a new era here we have a new era of the detection and the important thing is to get rid of these viruses.

Dr Edward Shorter: Why would he call it an obfuscation if it was a virus that was contaminating the vaccine?

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …well there are 40 different viruses in these vaccines anyway that we were inactivating and uh,

Dr Edward Shorter: but you weren’t inactivating his though…

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …no that’s right, but yellow fever vaccine had leukemia virus in it and you know this was in the days of very crude science. So anyway I went down and talked to him and said well, why are you concerned about it? Well I said “I’ll tell you what, I have a feeling in my bones that this virus is different, I don’t know why to tell you this but I …(unintelligible) …I just think this virus will have some long term effects.” And he said what? And I said “cancer”. (laughter) I said Albert, you probably think I’m nuts, but I just have that feeling. Well in the mean time we had taken this virus and put it into monkeys and into hamsters. So we had this meeting and that was sort of the topic of the day and the jokes that were going around was that “gee, we would win the Olympics because the Russians would all be loaded down with tumors.” (laughter) This was where the vaccine was being tested, this was where… so, uhh, and it really destroyed the meeting and it was sort of the topic. Well anyway…

Dr Edward Shorter: Was this the physicians… (unintelligible) …meeting in New York?

Dr Maurice Hilleman …well no, this was at Sister Kinney…

Dr Edward Shorter: Sister Kinney, right…

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …and Del Becco (sp) got up and he foresaw problems with these kinds of agents.

Dr Edward Shorter: Why didn’t this get out into the press?

Dr Maurice Hilleman: …well, I guess it did I don’t remember. We had no press release on it. Obviously you don’t go out, this is a scientific affair within the scientific community…

He arrives here with Basil O’Connor the head of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis that financed the tests. Hundreds of reporters and scientists gathered from all over the nation gathered for the momentous announcement….

Dr Albert Sabin: …it was too much of a show, it was too much Hollywood. There was too much exaggeration and the impression in 1957 that was, no in 1954 that was given was that the problem had been solved , polio had been conquered.

Over the last decade the global elite have been on a mad dash to consolidate power over the world. It’s always been their plan like some evil villain in a comic book, but after 9/11 the plan went into overdrive and then turbo charged during the financial crisis of 2008.

Yet it’s doomed to fail because humans are meant to be guided by their own free will, not controlled like livestock. The more the elite try to control humanity, the more entropy occurs. Entropy, for those who don’t know, is the lack of order or predictability; a gradual decline into disorder.

Although the elite still enjoy a huge wealth advantage over the masses, they are now resigned to behaving like tyrants to maintain control. This, in turn, exposes their dark side which has been cleverly concealed for ages. Not anymore.

People are waking up in droves, at least as fast as the elite can build their full-spectrum prison matrix. Let them try. To paraphrase Victor Hugo, “No army can stop an idea whose time has come.”

Here are ten signs that the elite are losing control over the people:

1. Official lies no longer effective: The lies they tell simply don’t work anymore. There was a time when official lies, especially about war and peace, were believed. Because, after all, how evil would it be to lie about such things? Generally people want to believe they are being told the truth when life and death is at stake. The boy who cried wolf has cried one too many times. Even if they told the truth at this point, very few would believe them.
2. No confidence in politics: US politicians have a paltry approval rating. The trust in government is at all-time lows here and around the world. Mainstream polls show only 10% of the public has confidence in Congress. In other words, 90% don’t believe in them to be competent to govern.

3. No confidence in media: The most recent polls show that 77% of the population no longer trusts corporate TV news. Is it any wonder why the establishment media failed to sell the lies about the alleged Syria chemical event? With all their monopoly might over the airwaves, they can no longer claim that black is white simply because officialdom says so.

4. Bankers rejected: Hungary recently became the first country to follow Iceland’s lead by shedding international bankers (IMF) and is considering pursuing prosecution of past prime ministers who enslaved the people with debt.

Look for this trend to continue even if nations decide to default to break free.

5. Vatican abruptly cleaning up its act: Under the previous Pope, Pope Benedict, scandals erupted from the Vatican ranging from covering up pedophile priests to money laundering and fraud. Benedict, in an unprecedented move, abruptly retired to make way for a seemingly much more likable Pope Francis. Pope Francis by all measures is working furiously to reclaim the church’s peaceful and humble reputation. Whether this is genuine or a PR move, it’s telling that the church was forced into such a drastic turnaround to save itself from losing all credibility.

6. Mutiny among soldiers: Finally. Soldiers, who are outlawed from making political statements, are steadily speaking out against US military adventurism. As Einstein famously said “The pioneers of a warless world are the young men (and women) who refuse military service.”

7. Militarized police state: One of the darkest signs that the elite are losing their grip on power is the construction of the militarized police state specifically trained to combat domestic civil unrest. Local cops with tanks and other combat gear are working with Feds at Fusion centers, active Army units are on American soil for the first time in history, the NSA spy grid is being used by the IRS and DEA, and the elimination of due process for Americans under the NDAA are just some of the tyrannical moves made to secure the elite criminals from public backlash. They’re clearly scared, and they should be given what they’ve done to the American people and the Constitution.

8. Serious secession movements everywhere: A state seceding from a larger political entity used to be an ultra-fringe concept, until now. In America, secession movements are winning over the public in parts of Colorado and California. In Europe, serious secession movements are happening in Spain and Scotland, as well as several EU nations flirting with the idea of dropping out the the euro. Decentralization = Entropy!

9. GMO food being rejected everywhere: Control the food and you control the people. True in theory, but much more difficult in practice. GMO leaders like Monsanto are being exposed. Trilateral Commission Continues to Dominate Obama

The position of National Security Adviser acts like a gate keeper to the President. This fact has never been lost on the Trilateral Commission, where Zbigniew Brzezinski was National Security Adviser to President Jimmy Carter in 1976. Brzezinski choreographed Carter‘s every move, even bragging about it years later.

When it comes to national security issues (overseas and domestic), nothing reaches the President’s eyes or ears without being filtered and screened by his Adviser. You can imagine possibility for manipulation if the NSA has a secret agenda to use the President in order to promote goals favorable to the membership of a private organization.

When Obama first took office, he appointed 12 percent of the U.S. Trilateral Commission membership to top posts. Three of these posts related to national security:

National Security Adviser, Gen. James L. Jones
Deputy National Security Adviser, Thomas Donilon
Director of National Intelligence, Admiral Dennis C. Blair

When Jones stepped down in October 2010, Trilateral Thomas Donilon was promoted to National Security Adviser, where he has served until he announced his resignation today.

Alas, that is not the end of Trilateral Commission hegemony over Obama. His new appointee? None other than Susan Rice, also a member of the Trilateral Commission.

Rice has been a key policy adviser to Obama since before he even took office. As Ambassador to the United Nations, Rice infamously presided over the propaganda surrounding the Benghazi terrorist attack, which caused her to withdraw from consideration for appointment to Secretary of State to replace Hillary Clinton (Bill Clinton was a member). Rice knew that her Senate confirmation hearings would not only be unsuccessful, but would force her to answer questions, under oath, regarding her role in Benghazi.

As National Security Adviser, Senate confirmation for Rice is not required – she will simply take over the position without further fanfare in early July.

The old guard Trilaterals such as Zbigniew Brzezinski, David Rockefeller and Henry Kissinger, are certainly gloating over the unrestrained ignorance of the American public. After all, Trilaterals have dominated and controlled every president since Jimmy Carter in 1976. Walter Mondale, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Dick Cheney were all members, and loaded their respective high-level positions with other Trilaterals.

What is wrong with this picture? When Lincoln closed his famous Gettysburg Address with the words, the “government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”, he had never met the likes of the Trilateral Commission. This private and elite group of globalists would more likely say to themselves, “government of the Commission, by the Commission and for the Commission.

Various stories have recently appeared recently that feign outrage over paid access to the President. That is, given a certain level of campaign contributions, a person can actually secure a few minutes with the President one-on-one. Talk about straining over a gnat while swallowing a camel: The Trilateral Commission has multiple points of 24×7 access to the President and has had it for decades. Express concern over this and you will be handed a tinfoil hat while being made to sit in the corner.

There is another aspect to Rice’s appointment to National Security Adviser – she will immediately fall under Obama’s “executive privilege” defense to gain immunity that will let her skip testifying before Congress on the Benghazi affair. Everything she touches from here on will be shrouded under the cloak of national security.

Technocracy Update

The fifth requirement necessary for the implementation of Technocracy was recorded in the Technocracy Study Course in 1932: “Provide specific registration of the consumption of each individual, plus a record and description of the individual.”

Historic Technocracy was the direct inspiration for Huxley’s Brave New World and Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty Four. If you have never read these books, you should do so immediately. This is where we are headed and at breakneck speed. There is no turning back.

It has now been revealed that the Obama Administration has ordered, via secret court order, at least one major cell phone carrier, Verizon, to turn over all phone call information to the National Security Agency (NSA). This surveillance is specifically targeting American citizens.

Stories abound. The Atlantic Wire headlines “Phone Sex, Banks & Google for Emails: The NSA Spying Is Bigger Than Verizon“:

“The National Security Agency’s warrant for metadata on every single Verizon call for three months is jaw-dropping in its scope. Except, well, the NSA’s surveillance of our communications is most likely much, much bigger than that. Technology has made it possible for the American government to spy on citizens to an extent East Germany could only dream of. Basically everything we say that can be traced digitally is being collected by the NSA. We’re supposed to trust that our government will be much better behaved, but they’re not, and the White House almost admits it. That doesn’t mean they’re admitting everything.”

The NSA is not only collecting phone calls, but also bank transfers, financial records, emails, travel records, social media communications, health records and more. All of this will soon be housed in the NSA’s new mega-data-center in Utah, where a 5-zettabyte storage facility will be completed this fall. All of the known digital information in the world is believed to be only about 2.7 zettabytes, so the NSA has big plans to spy on you. In fact, they will know more about you than you know about yourself.

Syria war: On the rotten rope of Zionists

While opposition to an unwarranted war against Syria for an alleged use of chemical weapons in the Middle Eastern country is by slow gradations gaining momentum in the world as well as in the United States, some 250 Jewish leaders and the so-called activists affiliated to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) will be reportedly flocking into the halls on Capitol Hill early next week in order to “persuade lawmakers that Congress must adopt the resolution or risk emboldening Iran’s efforts to build a nuclear weapon.”

According to the report, they will be lobbying virtually every member of Congress to persuade them into believing that if they launched an attack against the “barbaric Assad regime,” they would practically hold Iran back from treading on the path of producing nukes.

Basically viewed as a backdoor to Iran by many political pundits, an invasion of Syria can safeguard the interests of the Zionists in strangling all the routes that in one way or another lead to Iran and consequently function to bolster a snowballing political power in the region. In a recent article titled “Iran, not Syria, is the West’s real target” which was published by The Independent, Robert Fisk adroitly revealed that “they are intended to harm Iran. They are intended to strike at the Islamic republic now that it has a new and vibrant president… Iran is Israel’s enemy. Iran is therefore, naturally, America’s enemy. So fire the missiles at Iran’s only Arab ally.”

An AIPAC source who asked not to be named told Politico that, “History tells us that ambiguity [in US actions] invites aggression, adding the group will now be engaged in a major mobilization over the issue.”

It should be noted however that the AIPAC is not the only functioning Zionist lobbying organization in the US and that which is spearheading a military strike against Syria but there are others such as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) actively involved in the crisis.

In his Friday’s address to the G8 Summit, Obama harangued on the “international paralysis” in the face of human rights violations and the gassing of 1,400 people in Syria, urging a concerted effort in eliminating all the ills which are, according to him, encapsulated in the policies of the Syrian government and those of Iran.

Sadly desperate and emotionally paralyzed, he said that using chemical weapons on children in Syria is something which cannot be tolerated. His words fell heavy on those skeptical ears which are wont to hearing on a daily basis of the casualties caused by the US drone attacks in different parts of the world. Mr. Obama cannot possibly assume a sympathetic stance on the gassing of the Syrian women and children while he is sharply aware of the real culprit behind the recent chemical attacks on the one hand, and on the other, he is cold and indifferent towards the tragic fate of other women and children killed at his own behest in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, you name it.

Since Obama took office, there has been a horrendous increase in the number of atrocities perpetrated by Washington. The drone war that Obama accelerated to a deplorable degree is enough to nominate him as a war criminal in a fair court of law. Only a few days after his inaugural address, a CIA-operated drone “dropped Hellfire missiles on Fahim Qureishi’s home in North Waziristan, killing seven of his family members and severely injuring Fahim. He was just 13 years old and left with only one eye, and shrapnel in his stomach.” In his book titled “Kill or Capture: The War on Terror and the Soul of the Obama Presidency” Daniel Klaidman indicates that Obama knew about the “erroneous target but still did not offer any form of redress, because in 2009, the United States did not acknowledge the existence of its own drone program in Pakistan.”

Sardonically, when Obama accepted the Nobel Peace prize in 2009, he had authorized more drone attacks than George W. Bush approved during his entire presidency. There were only nine strikes conducted in Pakistan between 2004 and 2007. Yet, in 2010, there were 111 (Daniel Klaidman pp. 117-118).

A report compiled by International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Clinic (Stanford) and Global Justice Clinic (New York University) titled “Living Under Drones” sheds light on the inhumane nature of the drone attacks. On the strength of a report provided by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism (TBIJ), an independent journalist organization, the report gives incredibly heartrending aggregate data on the drone victims.

According to TBIJ reports, from June 2004 through mid-September 2012, available data indicate that drone strikes killed 2,562 – 3,325 people in Pakistan, of whom 474 – 881 were civilians, including 176 children. In general, the report concludes, “Far more civilians have been killed by US drone strikes in Pakistan’s tribal areas than U.S. counter-terrorism officials have acknowledged.”

These are bitter realities frequently ignored by Obama, who is at every beck and call of his Zionist masters who deem no barrier in inflicting human losses and plunging the entire region into an eternally irreversible crisis.

Obama had better think twice before harkening to any call for war coming from the Zionists. The list of his crimes is getting thicker and thicker every day and the Zionist rope he is holding onto is a rotten one indeed.

Breaking: Russia Says Syria Chemical Weapons Made By Rebels

A new report from Russia lends evidence that the March 19 chemical attack in Syria was in fact carried out by the Obama-backed Syria rebels, highlighting the reality of the latest attacks.

In a new breaking report released by the Russian Foreign Ministry just moments ago, it has now been announced that the March 19 chemical weapons responsible for the attacks in Syria and blamed on Assad’s government army are linked up to rebel-made weaponry. Specifically, the findings state that the chemical weapon shells are very much different from the standard Syrian army weaponry and extremely similar to those made by the US-funded rebels who have been caught time and time again burning villages full of innocents.

The report from Russia’s RT reads:

“Probes from Khan al-Assal show chemicals used in the March 19 attack did not belong to standard Syrian army ammunition, and that the shell carrying the substance was similar to those made by a rebel fighter group, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.”

And perhaps more importantly, the report goes on to mention that “the way is being paved for military action” through the blame on Assad for launching the attacks despite evidence showing the contrary. In fact, Syrian officials have gone on record in the past saying that evidence was submitted to the UN showing how there was information pointing towards the rebels carrying out the attacks. The relationship to the latest attacks is undeniable.

Prominent Analysts Label Attacks ‘False Flag’

The latest report coincides with what major analysts have been saying about the entire event as well as what I have been saying in reports regarding the latest attacks. Initially pushing the concept into the media, it was Ron Paul who went on air and labeled the attacks a false flag in a report that has now gone international in a major way. Paul was then followed by Pat Buchanan, who went on air saying that the attacks ‘reeked of a false flag’.

Now, it seems extremely clear to those who are following what’s going on that we were indeed correct in this analysis when considering this news. Yet, despite this reality, Obama and his handlers continue to push the nation into a hot war with Syria that could involve boots on the ground and the ignition of heavy military action against Assad.

For almost 100 years there has been a Secret Ruling Cabal of Banksters and Industrialists from the City of London Financial District that has been running the USG and setting the policies of America which are based on Big Lies and Major Deceptions.

This cabal has spent many billions of hard earned American dollars which they have confiscated through a crooked tax system to pay “talking-head” major mass media “newscasters” to limit what you can know and to make sure almost everything the Controlled Major Mass Media (CMMM) is lies and dispensed propaganda, which helps keep this super-elite deviant Ruling Cabal in power and keeps important truths from the public.

The Cabal knows that they must keep truth from the people in order to continue in power, and now the advent of the worldwide Internet is posing their greatest threat ever, and their demise may be right around the corner.

Some of the oldest most senior members of the Cabal believe that the only way to stop this erosion of their control over truth that the Internet now presents is to elicit a major nuclear WW3 that will radically depopulate the earth and convert the political structure back into a Middle Ages type feudal King/Serf system.

Karen Hudes, former high ranking counsel for the World Bank, has disclosed that at least five of the six American major mass media are owned by the six largest banks which means that they control public opinion by controlling what the major mass media dispenses to the public. Thanks to the Internet this is quickly coming to a screeching halt right before our eyes in real time.

No greater litmus test has been more clearly apparent for the CMMM than the recent false flag attack in Syria by Al Cia Duh.

Watch the CMMM house of cards start to fall as the truth is fully exposed by the alternative media on the Internet. The Ruling Cabal’s ability to continue withholding the truth from its subjects is waning by the day as the Alternative media has now outpaced the CMMM in popularity.

You cannot easily find any young people going to mainstream mass media TV network news for information, they all go to the alternative news sites on the web like Drudgereport.com, Rense.com, Presstv.ir, whatreallyhappened.com, Veteranstoday.com, rt.com, infowars.com, amtvmedia.com, rinf.com, wired.com (danger room), and so many more fine newsfeed websites like these that it would fill pages.

And few believe the network news radio reports anymore either. Since these network radio news are also Cabal controlled and part of the CMMM, their constant parroting of what the network TV talking head spout is increasingly also ignored. And those sites that are run out of the Pentagon or the Fusion centers, or zio fronts are usually quite easily identified or at least perceived as tainted, and many folks are now rejecting them for the most part because their lies and distortions are becoming so plainly obvious.

Contrary to what USG officials keep parroting through the CMMM, the United States of America is a Republic, not a Democracy and the Founding fathers specifically designed the Constitution to prevent America from ever becoming a democracy by creating what was to be a permanent separation of powers between Congress, the Judiciary and the Executive (Administration including the President). The system was designed to prevent the President from becoming a petty dictator, but that is what has happened under Bush 1&2 and Clinton, and now Obama. This has occurred because Congress has allowed these presidents to start and fight undeclared, unprovoked, unConstitutional, illegal wars without impeaching the President. And the judiciary has been blackmailed into submission by Cutouts of the Cabal using secret wiretaps from the NSA. A Democracy is mob rule, that is, simple majority rule which is what the Ruling Cabal wants since it has been able to easily mass mind-kontrol the public by controlling the major mass media. The Ruling Cabal was able to change the process for electing US Senators from appointment by the state legislatures to popular vote, which was not what the Founding fathers wanted, either, and makes Congress even more easily controlled by the Cabal “money-men” who have unlimited funds for K-Street lobbyists and other various types of support to Congresspersons before and after they are elected.

2. The Federal Reserve Bank is a foreign owned private central bank which creates imaginary, fiat money out of thin air only, is no more federal than Federal Express shipping company, has no reserves, and is basically an unconstitutional “sleight of hand” fraud operation which charges American citizens interest illegally to use what should be their own money. Its twelve stockholder/owners are kept secret. the federal reserve Act was supposedly passed to prevent depressions but has been used to create them on behalf of the Ruling cabal so that they can pick up more assets at huge discounts. This fraudulent system generates mass debt slavery through pernicious usury, considered by the Muslims to be a very great sin and used to also be considered the same by the Catholic faith. The creation of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913 is one of the greatest frauds in history and was actually “stealth legislation” passed without a true quorum, right before Christmas break when few Congress-persons were present. The Internet has been exposing this “big lie” in spades and more and more Americans are catching on and hopping mad because they are realizing for the first time that this illegal Central Banking has allowed the Ruling cabal to steal their hard-earned income and asset strip the wealth of everyday citizens as well as America the Republic.

3. The Internal Revenue Service is incorporated in Puerto Rico and is the private collection agency for the Federal Reserve Bank. It too is completely illegal but is able to steal the taxpayer’s money by use of brute power, a hijacked and compromised justice system and brutal police state style “boot in your face” power. Obama’s affordable Health Care was designed by top Cabal members who control the insurance industry as a means to bring all taxpayers and citizens together under the massive daily control of the IRS who are designated to be the enforcers of Obama care and will have access to everyone’s bank accounts and can size assets at will even if in error. And of course there is a somewhat recent “smoking gun” letter from a certain Midwest senator that instructed the IRS to get real tough with Tea Party groups which will probably be released to the public sooner than later and could easily prevent any re-election of that individual.

4. All wars are pre-arranged by this secret Ruling Cabal which is best defined as the circle of top world Banksters and industrialist run out of the City of London Financial District, a separate country like the Vatican with its own ambassadors and police. These folks claim to be personally anointed by Lucifer himself and some have claimed to have personal alien or demon guides that provide protection and counsel. Thus all wars are Bankster wars and appear to be demonically inspired. Some experts have discovered a strong association with secret esoteric “super-masonic” occult groups which are luciferian based and this Ruling Cabal. Others have discovered a long term association with these Ruling Cabal members and alien or ET entities, and believe these cabal members are actually infected with alien/ET demonic parasites who demand and promote mass death and destruction upon the Earth once they gain control over the Cabal member who has lost his soul or been “soul-snatched”. Some researchers have labeled this Ruling Cabal Babylonian Zionism, or the “Synagogue of satan” and claim that it’s wealth and power is based on the use of “Babylonian Money-Magick” which is the use of fiat money lent at pernicious usury in order to create massive debt slavery, massive asset stripping and provide complete but hidden control. Others attribute it power to the anointing of Lucifer and their use of the evil “black arts” which include deception, slight of hand and human sacrifice. If the cabal can issue or print all the money it needs, it can buy up almost every single politician it wants as long as it keeps the effects of all the excess money mitigated to prevent complete collapse of the monetary system. Of course experts know that the creation of the US Petro Dollar which required all oil sales to be made in money converted to US dollars first was a stop gap effort to delay reality until the Ruling Cabal could use America to subdue the whole world on the behalf of these City of London Bankster’s before the system eventually crashed. The reason why the US Dollar is now only worth only about 2 cents of what is was worth when it was originally issued is because the Federal Reserve Bank has been issuing more and more money to buy politicians and support their secret black operations designed to develop alien technology to keep complete control over “we the people” and this Ponzi system is eventually doomed to failure.

This secret Ruling Cabal has existed for hundreds of years and has planned to create a Globalist NWO system located in Jerusalem and is allegedly powered by the mass suffering, death and bloodshed of humans as a “blood-sacrifice” and/or a “soul-sacrifice”. Ufo’s are real and are advanced inter-dimensional Anti-Gravity Craft (AGCs) and have been recovered by the American Army Air Corps (now the USAF) after crashing, and have contained alien/ET pilots.These craft have been back engineered, and the USG has entered into several top secret treaties with certain alien groups to obtain ultra-high technology in return for access to human and animals for biological sampling as long as certain rules are met. These researchers believe that individuals cannot become infected with this Cosmic Parasite or demon unless they have been somehow compromised to believe that it is okay to violate the Golden rule.Those born with a lack of conscience, extreme narcissists or psychopaths can obviously become infected quite easily if this is true. So as this narrative goes, the Cabal recruits by searching for those that are easily compromisable. If someone has strong character, deep integrity and refuses to harm others unless in self-defense, the cabal is not interested in these folks. Cabal wannabees must be comfortable pedophiling and sacrificing young innocent children and creating mass-murder and mass suffering through the pre-arrangement and provocation or wars and mass death and destruction.

Take the very richest men in America and the world, the top Banksters and Industrialists and you can assume that most of these folks were only able to get this massive wealth and power by “selling their souls” to Lucifer in a very strange transaction to obtain “untold wealth, power and prestige” that some who later left the “cult” have spoken about. Until recently, unless some former members who refused approached or later rejected these contracts had come forth, such secret rituals would be unknown. However that last couple of years some younger Rock stars who “sold out” have come forth, admitted it publicly and bragged about it like a badge of honor. Formerly these “blood contracts” were kept secret due to fear of rejection from general society. If anyone wants to climb the Cabal’s food chain and obtain higher status and position, they must be “players”, be known luciferians, have proven themselves to be comfortable attending Bohemian Grove human sacrifice rites and worship of Moloch, be able to function as criminal psychopaths and be able to do all kinds of horrible things to other innocent people, things they would never want or expect to be done to themselves. Thus these folks have a complete disconnect between their operating ideology which is completely sociopathic and all the harm and suffering they cause and are responsible for. It is also considered standard procedure to have been “adequately” human compromised in deviant acts that have been video recorded and held as later possible blackmail to be sure folks will do what the cabal wants. In years past some new and married “action officers” in various upper level privatized intel groups were tested early on by being offered very expensive “call-girls” for an adventure away from home. If they accepted, the “meetings” were video recorded and these men were moved up in the command structure. If they refused, the were not fired but were never promoted and kept away from the cabal’s deep secrets. Later on the tests offered them could involved perversions, pedophilia or some other highly deviant act of evil. If the person took the carrot, they then were propelled to the top and identified as a real player worthy of trust.

12. Top insider Zbigniew Brzezinski has admitted as much that the NWO is failing because of the spontaneous emergence of a new worldwide populism and this is especially troublesome for the NOW Globalists. (1)

The cabal and it main stateside agent the SSG has declared a covert war against “we the people” and intends to use their cutouts the neo-Bolshevik zios and NeoCons to set up the Department of Homeland Security to serve as the main attack force used to instigate a large internal American civil war and thus serve as a New American Cheka to mass-murder up to about 80% of Americans and institute a massive Red Terror inside America. DHS is buying up billions of hollow point rounds, 2700 tanks and 30,000 armed drones to attack and murder American dissidents with. The USG official lists of potential and suspected terrorists is growing so large and inclusive almost 75% of all Americans qualify for at least one list. (2)

14. There is a force higher up the Pyramid of Power than the Ruling Cabal run out of the City of London. It is the Old Black Nobility (OBN), also known to some insiders as the European Circle of twelve and this is comprised of the old luciferian black nobility families of Europe that control the Vatican, German banking and all world Central banking including the City of London Banksters and their stateside franchisees the federal Reserve/Rockefeller bunch and have been considered the top of the hierarchy. Actually, however, the OBN is not at the very top, but the “Third Force” is. As this narrative goes, as hard as he tries, he cannot usurp God Almighty, cannot match his might or creative power nor can he create human life and breath the soul into it. He knows there is a final battle coming between his forces and God Almighty’s and he believes he can win if he gets control of the whole world, consolidates it into a NWO order uses it to build a collection of the highest tech space weapons possible. This Third Force is allegedly limited and constrained by the “Cosmic Rules of Play” required by God Almighty which requires that he must make sure the public is at least minimally informed ahead a time of his plans, has the right to refuse to cooperate, and must agree to be compromised before any cosmic parasite or demon can be internalized.

NSA and almost all American intel has allegedly been hijacked by zio Israeli-firsters and infil-Traitors but there has been a recent awakening near the top of these orgs and traitors in charge are being exposed and will be dealt with. Most of these individuals who control these agencies have either been mind-kontrolled, or are criminal psychopaths, or have been bought off by Bankster financial zio espionage fronts like Aipac, or have been human compromised and are being blackmailed into submission. NSA and other American intel have been providing secret information obtained from wiretaps and other means to the Ruling Cabal to use to blackmail and coerce politicians, judges and officials to do what they want. This has been rumored to include two top US Senators, one a closeted homosexual and one Supreme Court Justice, another closeted homosexual.

The FBI is basically a cover-up mechanism for the Ruling Cabal, also engages in espionage against truth exposure such as with Cointelpro type activities and has run numerous illegal murder ops out of its notorious Division 5 to cover-up numerous illegal USG activities and to murder numerous intel whistle-blowers. The FBI runs cover-up operations for the elite pedophile human kidnapping/compromise operations run out of military bases like those run out of Offutt in Omaha.

18. About 95% of all the illegal narcotics are trafficked into America authorized by the USG by the CIA or under their protection in joint efforts. The world’s largest crime syndicate, the zios are also allowed to bring in massive amounts of these illegal drugs as long as the proper higher ups receive their cut which is currently 10% off the top. Correctly stated, Washington DC should have a big sign upon entering DC:“Gangsters ‘R Us”. The USG is a big table of gangsters with plenty of room for any new gangster that ponies up the bucks for entry, and this includes the large drug cartels which are technically “joint ventures” with some small American Intel factions. Actually it’s like this: we have the WORST government the MOST money can buy, or the biggest collection of gangsters who have the necessary money to buy a seat at the table of control. Any criminal group can buy a seat the table of government inside America if they can pony up the necessary funds. So it is all about money and this is where the 70,000+ K Street Lobbyists come in. They funnel the money to the politicians in terms of campaign contributions, lucrative speaking honorariums, revolving door job promises, lucrative consulting contracts for relatives and business partners, special mortgage rates, offshore account gifts, free use of lavish condos all expenses paid as guests, etc. Doubt this, then just examine the net worth statements of politicians after a few terms in office, especially those who are owned by Aipac and serve a zio mouthpieces, folks like McCain and Graham. And a recent study of top paid CEO’s suggests rampant corruption. (3)

The CIA has run secret Mind-kontrol experiments and massive psychotronic harassment campaigns against dissenters and whistle-blowers along with certain groups in miltel and gotten away with it for many years. Except now folks on the inside are staring to talk and leak and it won’t be long until these operations are fully exposed and those responsible will be hounded, harassed and eventually dealt with. Almost every major psychotronic operation is being exposed now through high level and mid level leaks. Yes, even the sensitive programs now being established in large urban public schools and retail chains with HD cameras and mikes directly connected in real time to local fusion centers where complex face and voice recognition software is run along with the administration of pulsed beam microwaves to shape and modify subject’s behaviors are being leaked and disclosed. And they are all highly illegal because they provide no informed consent which is required by federal and state law. By the way the use of these devices by local Fusions centers are major Felonies, since they damage some children and can cause cancer and leukemia clusters.

Nationwide, the police have been mind-kontrolled by the deployment of high-tech pulsed beam microwave, constant-on shoulder held radio systems which are known to be able to entrain aggressive attitudes in many police officers and can cause parietal lobe or temporal lobe psychomotor seizures during arrests which can make the officers get temporarily enraged, some with transient psychotic “rage blackouts” at the time of their acting-out, when they go nuts and beat or murder victims unjustifiably and use excessive force, engaging in abject police brutality of the worst kind. Cancer clusters are now starting to form and most police have no idea that after many years of use their brains are being changed and in many cases their souls are being snatched. 27. Almost all cell phones contain RFID chips so they can be pinged by satellite to give one’s near exact location even if the cell phone is off and un-powered with no battery. Almost all cell phones can now be used to listen in and their cameras can be activated without the cell phone being turned on. The list of Monsanto’s economic, agricultural, chemical and biological wrongs is virtually endless. A recent study completed by the Food and Water Watch details Monsanto’s controversial chemical past, which includes the creation of numerous superfund sites and the U.S.’s largest-ever chemical disasters—just to name a couple.

Since its inception in 1901, Monsanto has monopolized global markets and put consumers (and even American soldiers) at risk. Here’s a roundup of some of Monsanto’s major misconducts.

Agricultural giant Monsanto has committed many a wrong over its 112 year history.

Here are some of the highlights.

Unleashing PCBs

In the 1930s, Monsanto began producing PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), which were used as coolants and lubricants in electronics. PCBs are chockfull of life-threatening toxins that are carcinogenic and harmful to the liver, endocrine system, immune system, reproductive system, developmental system, skin, eyes, and brain—basically every part of the body, according to Food and Water Watch. Until they were banned in 1976, 99 percent of all the PCBs in the U.S. were produced at a single Monsanto plant in Sauget, Illinois.

The SS Grandcamp Explosion

Monsanto’s noxious chemicals were responsible for the largest and most deadly U.S. chemical disaster to date, according to Food and Water Watch. In 1947, the SS Grandcamp was being loaded at a Monsanto dock in Texas when the 2,500 tons of ammonium nitrate on board exploded. The blast killed 500 people.

Agent Orange

During the Vietnam War, Monsanto produced the defoliant herbicide Agent Orange for the U.S. government. Dioxin, an extremely potent carcinogen, is created as a byproduct of Agent Orange’s manufacturing process. 18 million gallons of the toxic herbicide was dropped on jungles and farms in Vietnam between 1962 and 1971 as part of an effort to eliminate cover for enemy soldiers and create food shortages. Vietnamese and American war vets alike have suffered from the herbicide’s powerful toxins.

Peppering the U.S. with Toxic Dumps

A superfund site is essentially an overpoweringly potent toxic waste bin. After Monsanto transitioned to a predominately agricultural company in the late ’90s, the megacorp abandoned their chemical-laden factories all over the United States—and 41 of them have since been classified as superfund sites. Monsanto also created EPA-designated toxic wastelands in Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Alabama, West Virginia and Missouri that are laden with arsenic, radium, PCBs, dioxin and many other carcinogenic poisons, according to the EPA and the Food and Water Watch.

Pioneering GMOs

Monsanto’s scientists were the very first to tamper with Mother Nature’s DNA. In 1982, Monsanto genetically modified a plant cell for the first time, kick-starting the rise of—and subsequent war against—GMOs. Monsanto & Co. are the guys to thank.

Exclusive: High Level Source Confirms Secret US Nuclear Warhead Transfer

A high level source inside the military has now confirmed to us that Dyess Air Force base is actively moving nuclear warheads to the East Coast of the United States in a secret transfer that has no paper trail.

According to the high level military source, who has a strong record of continually being proven correct in deep military activity, the Dyess Air Force Commander authorized unknown parties to transfer the nuclear warheads to an unknown location that has been reported to be South Carolina, where the warheads will then be picked up and potentially utilized.

This is of particular interest not only due to the fact that the Syrian situation has escalated to the point of a very realistic hot war scenario, but due to the fact that Dyess has repeatedly denied the existence of nuclear warheads inside the base.

The brief report from the top level military source, which was written in a rush to get the information out, reads:

“Dyess is beginning to move out nuclear war heads today. I got a tap from DERMO earlier. He said it was the first time they have been even acknowledged since being put there in the 80′s. No signature was required for transfer… There was no directive. He said that Dyess Commander was on site to give authority to release. No one knew where they were going really, but the truck driver said to take them to South Carolina and another pick up will take them from there.”

The fact that this transfer was not signed for and there were no papers is key. It shows how the military is now secretly operating with the transfer of nuclear weapons, and what’s more, we know that DERMO (a military base in Florida) is a hotbed of special operations. Why is DERMO operating the nuclear warheads out of Dyess Air Force base with no paper trail? This shows that this is a highly secretive, black ops style move here that the military does not want on record.

The fact is that they don’t move all of these assets unless they plan on using them. Nuclear warheads are not simply moved to the East Coast for no reason, and the bottom line is that these missiles are likely being used for something even much greater than Syria.

Top Level Military Officer ‘Extremely Alarmed’

This leak inside the military industrial complex comes after prior sources have also revealed to us that B-1′s and B-2 bombers were ordered to head out of their respective bases (B-1B’s leaving Dyess specifically) across the nation and they haven’t come back. All of this is happening amid the growing Syrian crisis that has developed amid the ignition of a WW3-level wrestling match between the United States and Russia. Now, based on the transfer to South Carolina that is not on record and was not signed for, we may be looking at a pattern that reveals an extremely hot war scenario.

And here’s what’s essential to understand: There’s no question that the Syrian issue is huge, and it’s very possible that the US military is now under orders by Obama to prepare a strike, but the reality is that the much greater issue here is what’s going on with the US and Russia. What we’re seeing here is a proxy war turned hot with Syria, and we’ve been covering this for months now. Even the mainstream media has reported in the past how the evolution of war in Syria has turned into a hot proxy war against Russia via the Syrian rebels and Assad’s troops.

We now even have the Russian media openly discussing the hot war by the United States against Russia and how this will essentially lead to World War 3. But the fact of the matter is that we’re already progressively moving towards World War 3 . Obama and United States officials are already talking about boots on the ground in Syria and taking down the Russian-backed Assad regime. They are already moving forward following the blatantly staged chemical attacks that were absolutely carried out by the Obama-funded Syrian rebels in order to initiate a war scenario.

Why do you think Obama has been aiding in the training, funding, and supplying of the bloodthirsty Syrian rebels since 2011 through secret orders admitted by Reuters? The images were reportedly snapped by one of the party’s attendees, Alexis von Rosenberg, also known as the Baron de Redé, a prominent French banker who was close friends with the host of the ball, Marie-Hélène de Rothschild, of the notorious Rothschild banking dynasty.

In notes published on the blog Scala Regia, which were supposedly written by Von Rosenberg to accompany photos of the ball, he highlights several queer aspects of the night, concluding that he is barred from repeating “such things now for many reasons.” Below are von Rosenberg’s words via Scala Regia.

“… On 12 December 1972, Marie-Hélène gave her Surrealist Ball at Ferrières. This time the guests were asked to come in black tie and long dresses with Surrealist heads. The invitation was printed with reversed writing on a blue and cloudy sky, inspired by a painting by Magritte. To decipher the card, it had to be held to a mirror.

“Marie Hélène proved that she had the flare and imagination to create something unique and worthwhile. None of this was created by charm alone. It needed a degree of ruthless determination. In the next one, a man wearing a mask of a woman’s face seems engaged possibly in some type of sexual activity.

The elite social gathering’s eerily awkward theme – “Black tie, long dresses & Surrealists heads” – is also reminiscent of scenes out of director Stanley Kubrick’s 1999 film Eyes Wide Shut, in which the main character is persuaded into attending a gathering that required a costume, mask and secret password and in which bizarre sexual orgies and pseudo-religious rituals were taking place.

People who grow their own food labeled ‘extremist’ by Dept. of Defense

If the founding fathers were reincarnated today, they’d probably start another revolution, this time to break away from an American government that has become far too imperial for its own good.

And as such, they’d be labeled “extremists” by those who mean to rule us.

In fact, the nation’s founders are considered extremists by the Pentagon, according to a new “training manual” that explicitly labels the framers as such.

Discovered by legal watchdog Judicial Watch via a Freedom of Information Act request, the manual was part of 133 documents provided by the Air Force. The January 2013 Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute “student guide” is entitled “Extremism.” The document says that it is “for training purposes only” and “do not use on the job.”

Believe in freedom? You’re an extremist…

The manual defines an “extremist” as “a person who advocates the use of force or violence; advocates supremacist causes based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or national origin; or otherwise engages to illegally deprive individuals or groups of their civil rights.”

In addition, it says, “Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publically espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.”

So, if ye love liberty and freedom more than ye love a big, powerful central government that has grown well beyond its constitutional boundaries, you’re an extremist. If ye dare to take care of yourself, to be an individual who grows his own food (weren’t there a number of farmers and plantation owners in the group of founding fathers?) ye are an enemy of the state.

Under the section, “Extremist Ideologies,” the manual states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

Though the document released today by Judicial Watch was obtained from the Air Force, it originated in a DOD office and is, therefore, thought to likely be used in other agency components, said Judicial Watch.

“The Obama administration has a nasty habit of equating basic conservative values with terrorism. And now, in a document full of claptrap, its Defense Department suggests that the Founding Fathers, and many conservative Americans, would not be welcome in today’s military,” long-serving JW president Tom Fitton said.

“And it is striking that some [of] the language in this new document echoes the IRS targeting language of conservative and Tea Party investigations. After reviewing this document, one can’t help but worry for the future and morale of our nation’s armed forces,” he added.

This isn’t the first time the federal government, one of its agencies or some other “official” source has equated freedom-loving Americans who have an originalist view of the Constitution and its meaning with extremists.

Irreconcilable violence ahead?

In 2009, Infowars obtained the “law enforcement sensitive” contents of a Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) report entitled “The Modern Militia Movement” which listed supporters of presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr as potential “militia” influenced terrorists.

Also, in July 2012 Infowars blew the lid on a Department of Homeland Security-funded study, produced by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the University of Maryland, that characterized Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.

In the past couple of decades it became clear that the federal government has become increasingly hostile towards anyone or any political movement that seeks to curb its power. Constitutionalists are portrayed as kooks and psychos, while the ruling class is portrayed as righteous, forthright and proper.

This is dangerous, for not only has it made dialogue next to impossible, but it has also created a climate of irreconcilability that could someday lead to violence.

The word “Illuminati” has become a catch-all term for the defacto Rulers of Planet Earth. Definition is crucial because the words “Conspiracy” and “Illuminati” have themselves become code-words for the occult (hidden) machinations of the Powers That Be. With the advent of the internet and its rough cut of “news” and disinformation, what was once considered esoteric knowledge has been revealed for all to see. Even the cowans – a derogatory Masonic term for non-Masons – and the goys – a derogatory Yiddish term for non-Jews – are learning about the Illuminati black magic hoodoo that permeates the planetary matrix.

Illuminati originally meant “the enlightened ones” in Latin, and it refers to those who control the political, economic and social infrastructures of the planet. By their reasoning, they believe they are the (self) designated rulers of Planet Earth.

Also called “Olympians” and “Moriah Conquering Wind,” the Illuminati are a “network” of interconnected “bloodlines” who call themselves “The Family” or “The Circle.” Intergenerational satanism, or more accurately Luciferianism, is their primary Belief Structure (That’s BS to you, pardner).

Also don’t forget their fatal flaw… The Illuminati consider themselves a tribe apart – Bande à part – a proud super-race who trace their genealogical origin back to the biblical Nimrod.

To add to the confusion, people sometimes refer to the Illuminati as the Bavarian secret society which infiltrated Freemasonry – even as the term “Illuminatus” is an actual title in Freemasonry.

Current understanding of the Illuminati comes from first-hand knowledge of mind control survivors like Arizona Wilder, Cathy O’Brien, author of Trance Formation of America, Brice Taylor, author of Thanks for the Memories, Kathleen Sullivan, author of MK, and Annie McKenna, author of Paperclip Dolls.

Their accounts describe a parallel Illuminati “culture” whose primary goal is to keep the populace “productive” and under control, as their corporate motto promises to deliver, “Ordo ab Chao” (Order Out of Chaos).

Various authors have further introduced errors in their “exposés” of the Illuminati by interpreting history with a bias that reflects their own political and religious indoctrination.

For example, the works of Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler, while informative about the Illuminati’s sociopathic “traditions” (no es mi costumbre) and psychopathic behaviour, which includes torture, human sacrifice and mind control, nevertheless belie a Christian programming which adds to the chaos and confusion of trying to untangle history from disinformation.

Likewise even as the writings of John Coleman, author of The Committee of 300 and Eustace Mullins, author of The World Order, describe various Illuminati organisations which exercise political and religious control in pursuit of their oft-stated goal of establishing a New World Order (One World Government), their asides reveal a rigid Christian fundamentalist mindset which undermines their credibility.

The greatest confusion, however, seems to lie in the connection between the Illuminati and the Gnostics. For example, authors like Nesta Webster in her book on Secret Societies claims the Illuminati can be traced back to the Gnostics. In other words, she frames her argument that Illuminati and the Gnostics are “bad” because they appear to be antithetical to Christianity.

This conflict then refers to the perennial battle between the Gnostics, representing the Mystery Schools, and the Roman Catholic Church which fought fiercely against self-knowledge, mysticism and other metaphysical concepts, inimical to the mind control confabulations of the Vatican.

Today this animosity is evident in the Belief Systems (BS) of Christian evangelicals, among others, who see all secret societies, Gnostics, New Agers, and the like as devil worshippers and ignorant (or conscious) agents of the Illuminati.

Not so… The Mystery Schools were pre-Christian mystical communities that were in effect educational centres with libraries and workshops amid a vibrant cultural life.

This just may be the scene of the crime, so to speak, and the origin of the current metaphysical confusion.

Was this where the great ideological schism, or the Dividing of the Way, began?

Gnostics vs. Illuminati

Comparative mythologist John Lamb Lash, the world’s foremost authority on Gnosticism and esoteric traditions, is the author of the indispensable groundbreaking book Not In His Image: Gnostic Vision, Sacred Ecology and the Future of Belief.

According to Lash, Mystery School adepts (so-called Gnostics) were originally members of the Magian order of shaman-initiates whose purpose was to guide humanity as teacher-mystics in pursuit of spiritual/ human evolution.

The controversy began when certain initiates of the Mystery Schools began to abuse their mystical knowledge and redirect it into behavioural manipulation, psychological programming and mind control technology. In essence, the Illuminati gave up their role as teachers to become social engineers and advisors to the Ruling Class. This coincided with the rise of the patriarchal Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Islam and Christianity, which also required techniques of mind control to keep their followers (“believers”) in line.

“Around 4000 BCE with the rise of urban civilisation in the Near East, some members of the Magian order chose to apply certain secrets of initiation to statecraft and social engineering,” writes Lash, describing the spiritual devolution of the Kali Yuga. “They became the advisors to the first theocrats of the patriarchal nation-states, but in fact the advisors were running the show.”

“Their subjects were systematically programmed to believe they were descended from the gods,” continues Lash. “The Illuminati inaugurated elaborate rites of empowerment, or kingship rituals. These rituals were in fact methods of mind control exercised on the general populace through the collective symbology and mystique of royal authority.”

Civilisation – the Civil Lie in Action – needed an iron fist in a velvet glove from the beginning, and the Illuminati were there to ensure compliance. “Kingship rituals were distinct from the rites of initiation that led to instruction by the Light and consecration to the Great Goddess,” writes Lash. “Their purpose was not education and enlightenment but social management.”

The control freak tendencies of the Illuminati are evident everywhere now, as their failure in managing the world financial system is rushing the planet headlong into economic collapse.

“Gnostics refrained from assuming any role in politics because their intention was not to change society, but to produce skilled, well-balanced, enlightened individuals who would create a society good enough that it did not need to be run by external management,” Lash continues. “The intention of the dissident Magians to run society by covert controls was based on their assumption that human beings are not innately good enough, or gifted enough, to create a humane world.”

Of course Lash is being too “liberal” in labelling the Illuminati as “dissident” since their spiritual betrayal in the Mystery School was more of a bitch slap to Gaia, than the red flag of a covert rebellion.

“The difference in views of human potential was the main force that precipitated the division of the Magians,” writes Lash, meaning that the judgmental arrogance of the Illuminati who believed they were indispensable, even as they think they’re nothing less than “God’s gift to mankind.”

“It’s simple enough to see that this mind set would develop the hierarchal structures in society today,” Lash continues.

True enough. The so-called Global Elite keep the planet under control utilising Illuminati Gofers known as politicians, military personnel, police officers, and religious leaders, whose function is to be the shepherds of society – guarding the sheep… until they’re ready for slaughter in their endless wars and intertribal rivalries.

People who behave as sheep, or so-called “sheople,” are always the ones who suffer the most because of their programming. Meanwhile the Illuminati Gofers pretend that this is the way it’s supposed to be. This long-standing ideological disagreement in the Mystery Schools has, it appears, resulted in the gross inequities of life on Planet Earth.

“The Illuminati program was (and still is) essential to patriarchy and its cover, perpetrator religion,” writes Lash, describing the global conspiracy which has conquered the world.

“While it cannot be exactly said that the deviant adepts known as Illuminati created patriarchy, they certainly controlled it,” continues Lash. “And still do. The abuse of initiatory knowledge to induce schizophrenic states (‘entrainment’), manipulate multiple personalities in the same person (‘platforming’), and command behaviour through posthypnotic suggestion (The Manchurian Candidate technique) continues to this day, with truly evil consequences for the entire world.”

Attempting to disentangle the erroneous idea that Gnostics and Illuminati refer to the same characters, Lash writes: “If we accept that the Mysteries were schools for Gaian co-evolution dedicated to the Goddess Sophia, they could not have been run by the Illuminati, as some contemporary writers (who believe they are exposing the Illuminati) have supposed. Everything the Gnostics did in the schools was intended to counterbalance and correct the machinations of the deviant adepts.”

Right intent once again becomes critical and the radical difference in ideology between the Gnostics and the Illuminati become self-evident.

“Initiation involved melting ego boundaries in preparation for deep rapport with nature, not lowering the ego consciousness, so that the subject could be behaviourally programmed using the power of suggestion, imprinting and other psychodramatic methods. These behavioural modification tools of the Illuminati were strictly forbidden in the Mysteries overseen by the Gnostics.”

The metaphysical perverts known as the Illuminati have structured today’s society to reflect the manipulation of humankind through religious belief systems, political affiliations as well as the non-stop onslaught of media programming known as “news” and “entertainment.”

The Defeat of the Illuminati

As renegades from the Mystery Schools who betrayed the Mysteries and subverted Gnosis (“Knowledge”), the Illuminati plan to divide, conquer and rule the world has worked quite well because people are easily programmed into belief systems contrary to their own welfare.

As Lash notes, “Skilled in theology and dialectical argument, the Gnostics were able to refute fanatical beliefs, but unable to protect themselves against the violence driven by those beliefs.”

In other words Judeo-Christian Annihilation & Apocalyptic Theology sponsored by the Illuminati was responsible for the destruction of the Mystery Schools and the murder of the Gnostics, who were no match for those who perceived them as a threat to their planetary dominion.

“Not only were the gnostokoi like [the female philosophy teacher] Hypatia [who was murdered by the Church] apolitical, they deliberately refrained from involvement in politics in order to dissociate themselves from the other type of initiates, the Illuminati who had been enmeshed in patriarchal and theocratic power games from their outset,” Lash concludes.

The Illuminati may be considered to be apostate Gnostics who abandoned their role of enlightening humankind in order to reap the benefits and entitlements of the Ruling Class.

Now as before the Illuminati continue to move towards their goal – a feverish dream of world domination culminating in the so-called New World Order (One World Government), which simply means Global Techno-Feudalism.

This has always been Metaphysical Warfare. And humankind’s choice is once again – Freedom or Slavery.

Maybe the “Know-It-Alls” – a derogatory term used by the Church against the Gnostics – might be able to help them out…

Processed foods are typically loaded with excess sugar, salt, unhealthful fats, preservatives and other additives.

But you probably know this already. What you may not know about processed foods is the extent of the havoc they can wreak on your body, a closely guarded secret that the processed food industry doesn’t want you to know.

In short, though they may taste good and be easy to prepare, when you eat processed foods you’re exchanging convenience for your health.

1. They’re Addictive and May Cause You to Overeat

Processing modifies or removes important components of food, like fiber, water and nutrients, changing the way they are digested and assimilated in your body.

Unlike whole foods, which contain a mix of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, fiber and water to help you feel satisfied, processed foods stimulate dopamine, a feel-good neurotransmitter, making you feel good even though the food lacks nutrients and fiber. This artificial dopamine stimulation can lead to excessive food cravings and, ultimately, food addiction.

2. They’re Linked to Obesity

Processed foods are virtually guaranteed to contain additives that are linked to obesity. This includes monosodium glutamate (MSG), high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners and more. Plus, refined carbohydrates like breakfast cereals, bagels, waffles, pretzels, and most other processed foods quickly break down to sugar.,

This increases your insulin and leptin levels, and contribute to insulin resistance, which is the primary underlying factor of nearly every chronic disease and condition known to man, including weight gain.

3. They Break Principles of Food Combining

Some nutrition and health experts, such as Wayne Pickering, believe that eating foods in certain combinations helps your body’s digestive processes to work more efficiently and absorb more nutrients. Wayne actually constructed a very useful food combining chart that can be obtained on his website. According to one such premise, eating proteins and starches together, which is common in processed foods (such as a pepperoni pizza), inhibits digestion leading to putrification of your food, acidic conditions in your blood and supports disease-causing pathogens in your gut.

4. Processed Foods Lead to an Imbalanced Inner Ecosystem

The microorganisms living in your digestive tract form a very important “inner ecosystem” that influences countless aspects of your health. Processed foods disrupt this system, suppressing beneficial microflora and leading to digestive problems, cravings, illnesses and chronic disease. Beneficial organisms in your gut thrive on whole, unprocessed foods.

5. They’re Detrimental to Your Mood and Brain

Mood swings, memory problems and even depression are often the result of a heavily processed-food diet. In fact, the greatest concentration of serotonin, which is involved in mood control, depression and aggression, is found in your intestines, not your brain! Your gut and brain actually work in tandem, each influencing the other. 6. Processed Foods Encourage ‘Eating on the Run’

Processed foods are quick and easy, making them ‘perfect’ to grab when you’re on the go. But eating on the go, or while you’re multi-tasking, can cause you to lose touch with your body’s natural signals telling you you’re full, leading to overeating and weight gain. It’s also more difficult for your body to digest properly when you’re busily engaged in other tasks.

7. Nutrition Labels Can be Misleading

A processed food may be labeled ‘natural’ or ‘sugar-free,’ but that doesn’t make it healthful. For instance, the natural food label on a processed food has no standard definition and really no meaning at all. A “natural” product is meaningless as it can legally be genetically modified, full of pesticides or made with corn syrup, additives, preservatives and artificial ingredients.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also allows processed food manufacturers to use absurdly tiny serving sizes on their labels, which can lull you into a false sense of security when it comes to determining how much of each stated nutrient or toxin, like trans fat, you’re actually consuming.

8. Processed Meats Are Linked to Cancer

Processed meats are those preserved by smoking, curing or salting, or the addition of chemical preservatives, which includes bacon, ham, pastrami, salami, pepperoni, hot dogs, some sausages and hamburgers (if they have been preserved with salt or chemical additives) and more. Particularly problematic are the nitrates that are added to these meats as a preservative, coloring and flavoring.

The nitrates found in processed meats are frequently converted into nitrosamines, which are clearly associated with an increased risk of certain cancers. Meat cooked at high temperatures, as many processed meats often are, can also contain as many as 20 different kinds of heterocyclic amines, or HCAs for short. These substances are also linked to cancer.

9. Processed Foods May Increase Your Risk of Infertility and Malnutrition

Because processed foods are stripped of nutrients your body needs, you could be eating a large number of calories but still become malnourished. In just three generations, a nutrient-deficient diet can lead to infertility, which is on the rise in the US.2 Plus, processed foods often contain genetically modified (GM) ingredients, which are also linked to reproductive problems.

10. Processed Foods Lead to a Long Shelf Life, Not a Long Human Life

Processed foods can last a long time on the shelf without going bad, thanks to their chemical cocktails of preservatives and other additives. Unfortunately, their makers put a lot of money and time into strategies to increase shelf life and create attractive packaging, with little attention put on the foods’ nutrient value or how it will actually detract from lasting health.

What Are the Worst Processed Food Additives?

When foods are processed, not only are valuable nutrients lost and dietary fiber removed, but the textures and natural variation and flavors are also lost. After processing, what’s left behind is a bland, uninteresting “pseudo-food” that most people wouldn’t want to eat.

Additives are added back in not only to slow spoilage, prevent fats and oils from going rancid, prevent fruits from turning brown, and fortify or enrich the food with synthetic vitamins and minerals to replace the natural ones that were lost during processing, but also to improve taste, texture and appearance. When reading product packages, here are some of the worst offenders to avoid if you want to protect your health (many of these are already banned in other countries due to health risks):

A Simple Step-by-Step Guide to Ditching Processed Foods

When it comes to staying healthy, avoiding processed foods and replacing them with fresh, whole foods is the “secret” you’ve been looking for. This might sound daunting, but if you take it step-by-step as described in my nutrition plan it’s quite possible, and manageable, to painlessly remove processed foods from your diet.

Remember, people have thrived on vegetables, meats, eggs, fruits and other whole foods for centuries, while processed foods were only recently invented. Many of the top executives and scientists at leading processed food companies actually avoid their own foods for a variety of health reasons!

I believe you, too, should spend 90 percent of your food budget on whole foods, and only 10 percent on processed foods (unfortunately most Americans currently do the opposite). This requires that you plan your meals in advance. Ideally, this will involve scouting out your local farmer’s markets for in-season produce that is priced to sell, and planning your meals accordingly, but you can also use this same premise with supermarket sales. You can generally plan a week of meals at a time, make sure you have all ingredients necessary on hand, and then do any prep work you can ahead of time so that dinner is easy to prepare if you’re short on time in the evenings (and you can use leftovers for lunches the next day).

Further, by cutting out these high-glycemic foods you can retrain your body to burn fat instead of sugar. However, it’s important to replace these foods with healthy fats, not protein—a fact that’s often not addressed. I believe most people may need between 50-70 percent of their daily calories in the form of healthful fats, which include:

Olives and olive oil	Coconuts and coconut oil	Butter made from raw grass-fed organic milk
Organic raw nuts, especially macadamia nuts, which are low in protein and omega-6 fat	Organic pastured egg yolks and pastured meats	Avocados

How the NSA Misleads the Public Without Technically Lying

The Wall Street Journal published an important investigation last week, reporting that the National Security Agency (NSA) has direct access to many key telecommunications switches around the country and “has the capacity to reach roughly 75% of all U.S. Internet traffic in the hunt for foreign intelligence, including a wide array of communications by foreigners and Americans.” Notably, NSA officials repeatedly refused to talk about this story on their conference call with reporters the next day. Instead the Director of National Intelligence and the NSA released a statement about the story later that evening.

If you read the statement quickly, it seems like the NSA is disputing the WSJ story. But on careful reading, they actually do not deny any of it. As we’ve shown before, often you have to carefully parse NSA statements to root out deception and misinformation, and this statement is no different. They’ve tried to deflect an accurate story with their same old word games. Here’s a breakdown:

The NSA does not sift through and have unfettered access to 75% of United States online communications…The report leaves readers with the impression that the NSA is sifting through as much as 75% of the United States online communications, which is simply not true.

Of course, the Wall Street Journal never says the NSA “sifts through” 75% of US communications. They reported the NSA’s system “has the capacity to reach roughly 75% of all U.S. Internet traffic.” The new term “sift” is undefined, but regardless of what the NSA is “not doing” to 75% of Americans’ emails, they do have the technical capacity to search through it for key words—which the NSA does not deny.

In its foreign intelligence mission, and using all its authorities, NSA “touches” about 1.6%, and analysts look at 0.00004% of the world’s Internet traffic.

See what they did there? The Wall Street Journal was talking about US-only communications traffic, not the world’s total Internet traffic. The vast majority of the world’s Internet traffic is video—streaming and downloads. According to a study done by Cisco, video made up more than half of all web traffic in 2012—and that excludes peer-to-peer sharing. By 2017, they predict 90% of all Internet traffic will be video.

As Jeff Jarvis aptly documented, the NSA can vacuum up an extraordinary percentage of the world’s (and American) communications while only touching 1.6% of total Internet traffic.

Oh, and that 0.00004%? That math may be wrong too. The Atlantic Wire double-checked the NSA’s numbers when they first used that stat and determined the NSA’s math was off by an order of magnitude – it actually searches ten times more than they say they do.1

The assistance from the providers, which is compelled by the law, is the same activity that has been previously revealed as part of Section 702 collection and PRISM.

First, notice that they are conflating PRISM—which involves collection from Internet companies like Facebook—with the “upstream” collection the Wall Street Journal reports on: telecommunications companies like AT&T that give the NSA direct access to the fiber optic cables that all Internet traffic travels over. Here’s the NSA’s own leaked graphic explaining the difference:

Second, siphoning off large portions of Internet traffic directly from the Internet backbone is not “compelled by law.” In fact, as EFF argued in court for years, the telecoms’ participation in this program with the NSA was both illegal and unconstitutional. Obviously, they knew it, because that’s why Congress passed retroactive immunity for companies like AT&T in 2008. But that immunity only extended to the telecom, and EFF’s case against the ongoing illegal surveillance continues.

Section 702 specifically prohibits the intentional acquisition of any communications when all parties are known to be inside the US.

Yes, Section 702 prohibits the intentional acquisition of US communications, but once US communications are in an NSA database—which happens often—the NSA can search them without a warrant, as documents recently published by the Guardian revealed. Unknown or anonymous people are assumed to be foreign, meaning many US people will be caught up in the dragnet.

The law specifically prohibits targeting a US citizen without an individual court order based on a showing of probable cause.

We’ve previously dissected the NSA’s warped definition of “target”, where they only have to be 51% sure the person they’re spying on is foreign. Additionally, a host of loopholes exist that allow the NSA to keep US communications if they’re encrypted, if there’s evidence of a crime, and more.

And as the New York Times reported on its front page two weeks ago, officials admit the NSA is “searching the contents of vast amounts of Americans’ e-mail and text communications into and out of the country” under the guise of looking for information about targets, not just communications to targets.

If that communications involves a US person, NSA must follow Attorney General and FISA court approved “minimization procedures” to ensure the Agency protects the privacy of US persons.

Those “minimization procedures” do not ensure that the NSA protects privacy. Rather, they are woefully inadequate, primarily concerned with minimizing the amount of data to be removed from the database, and expanding on the circumstances under which the NSA can keep the data and share it with other agencies.

So there you have it: how the NSA pretends to deny a media report without denying it at all. We are still awaiting an honest account of the NSA’s capabilities. Tell your representative to demand an independent investigation today.

Pushed globally as a beneficial to dieters since its approval in 1981, accumulating research indicates that aspartame may actually damage the brain and cause cancer, to name but a few of a wide range of adverse health effects consumers risk by using this ‘no-calorie’ sugar alternative.

Google “aspartame” and you will find http://www.aspartame.org in search result position #1. Billing itself as an ‘Aspartame Information Center,’ this website opens with “The Benefits of Aspartame,” discussing how as a ‘low-calorie’ sweetener aspartame helps consumers with weight control, diabetes and the prevention of tooth decay.

The website is the creation of an organization calling itself the Calorie Control Council (CCC), a non-profit association established in 1966 whose public mission is “…to provide an objective channel of scientific-based communications about low-calorie foods and beverages, to assure that scientific and consumer research and information is made available to interested parties.”

Ironically, Aspartame.org contains virtually no reference to primary scientific literature, rather, opts for an appeal to authority, listing a series of “Expert Opinions” on the presumed safety of aspartame. Examples include “Science Experts,” e.g. American Diabetic Association, “Consumer Experts,” e.g. Snopes.com, “Regulatory Experts,” e.g. FDA, and even lists its own sponsoring organization – the CCC – as an example of an “Industry Expert,” even though its mission statement clearly identifies itself as a propaganda arm of the global low- and reduced-calorie food and beverage industry:

The Council’s mission is to foster industry growth and vitality by reinforcing and expanding the Calorie Control Council’s role as a globally trusted authority on the safety and benefits of ingredients, foods, and beverages to facilitate the control of calories. [emphasis added]

Of course, there is no mention of the dozens of adverse health effects linked to aspartame in the peer-viewed biomedical literature itself, and which GreenMedInfo.com indexes and provides free access to in order to provide a non-industry sponsored Aspartame Information Center.

Before we look at some of the science on aspartame’s toxicity that the industry would like consumers to overlook, let’s first debunk the primary claims put forward by the CCC’s website about aspartame’s presumptive health benefits.

Is Aspartame a Boon for Diabetics and the Overweight?

According to the CCC’s website, aspartame is good for maintaining a healthy weight and for satisfying the diabetic’s sweet tooth “without affecting blood sugar.” And yet, one of the characteristic issues with all non-nutritive sweeteners is that when you separate caloric content from the taste of sweetness you ‘short circuit’ one of the most ancient, hard-wired physiological pathways in the human body. After millions of year of evolution, our bodies were designed to anticipate the immediate availability of a simple carbohydrate (i.e. “sugar”) following the sensation of sweetness, and indeed, it automatically produces gastric secretions when tasting sweetness in what is known as the cephalic phase (cephalic = “head”) of the act of eating, the initial phase before food enters the stomach involving taste, smell, thought, etc., which accounts for approximately 20% of the gastric secretions associated with eating a meal. This means that aspartame’s intense sweetness will cause the release of neurochemicals such as dopamine and pancreatic hormones such as insulin, that latter of which signals the cellular upregulation of glucose intake. If no glucose is available, this could result in hypoglycemia and/or elevated levels of insulin, further stimulating appetite and molecular processes associated with fat-storage. This same effect may help to explain why Splenda (sucrlose) was recently found to have diabetes-promoting properties. [1]

Non-nutritive sweeteners, therefore, are not ideal weight control or diabetes aids. They could be considered endocrine disrupters, due to the way in which they disrupt the normal release of hormones like insulin, and likely contribute to insulin resistance, as well as stimulating the release of various neurochemicals that could produce addictive behavior and/or over-eating. In fact, a 2012 study published in the journal Appetite actually found that saccharin and aspartame, compared with sucrose,induce greater weight gain in adult rats, at similar total caloric intake levels.[2]

Is Aspartame Good for your Teeth?

One of the primary reasons why consumers seek out sugar alternatives is because of the well-known increase in dental problem such as cavities in those who consume sugar-sweetened products. While aspartame is less cariogenic than sucrose, recent research published in the journal Archives of Oral Biology indicates that it does in fact contribute to the demineralization of enamel through both stimulating acidity and bacterial biofilm formation.[3] There is, therefore, no real scientific credibility to the CCC’s website claim that “Aspartame Does Not Promote Tooth Decay.”

Now that we have debunked two prevailing myths associated with aspartame’s perceived “benefits,” let’s move to a few of its known harms.

Aspartame Is Carcinogenic

In 2006, the Cesare Maltoni Cancer Research Center of the European Ramazzini Foundation of Oncology and Environmental Sciences released a study which revealed that aspartame can induce a wide range of malignancies in rodents, including lymphoma and leukemia, concluding that aspartame is a potential carcinogen at doses much less (20 mg/kg bw) than the current acceptable daily intake (ADI) for humans in Europe (40 mg/kg bw) and in the United States (50 mg/kg bw). .[4]

A follow-up study published in 2007 confirmed and reinforced aspartame’s “multipotential carcinogenicity” at a dose level close to the ADI for humans, including the discovery that fetal exposure results in increasing its carcinogenic effects later in life.[5]

More recently, a 2012 study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, which assessed dietary pattern data from the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS) and Health Professionals Follow-Up Study (HPFS), found that men who consumed 1 or more servings of diet soda a day had on average a 31% increased risk of non-Hodgkins lymphoma and 102% increased risk of multiple myeloma, in comparison to men without diet soda consumption.

Finally, this year, a study published in the Polish medical journal Folia Neuropathologica discussed a commonly overlooked aspect of aspartame’s carcinogenicity. Aspartame, which the researchers describe as a “highly hazardous compound,” produces a metabolite known as diketopiperazine, which they described as contributing to the formation of tumors in the central nervous system such as gliomas, medullobastomas and meningiomas.[6] Indeed, the hypothesis that increasing brain tumor rates in the US may be linked to increasing aspartame consumption goes all the way back to 1996 in the biomedical literature.[7]

The reality is that all the peer-reviewed and published scientific research in the world either for or against aspartame’s safety will not take away the most fundamental fact of toxicology: 10% of aspartame breaks down into methanol, a highly toxic compound, which itself is oxidized to the carcinogenic substance formaldehyde. It has also been hypothesized that oxidative stress caused by hydrogen peroxide release during catalase-induced metabolism of methanol to formaldehyde may contribute to aspartame’s carcinogenicity.

Aspartame is Neurotoxic

One of the most well known problems with aspartame is that it contains 40% aspartic acid by weight, which after being ingested, metabolized and released in its free form, can generate excitotoxicity, meaning it is capable of stimulating neurons to the point of cell death. Plenty of animal research has demonstrated that aspartame caused brain damage and cognitive issues,[8] and preliminary human research indicates that fibromyalgia patients may see improvement when removing this excitotoxin from their diets.[9] [10] For more information on the brain-damaging potential of aspartame read our article: Aspartame: Safety Approved in 90 Nations, But Damages Brain.

Conclusion

Beyond cancer-promoting and brain-damaging properties, aspartame like any chemical that does not belong in the human body is just another avoidable chemical exposure that we should go to great lengths to eliminate, as it will likely contribute to the entire gamut of diseases that commonly afflict opulent societies who rather than reduce the over consumption of nutritive sweeteners would rather attempt to trick and/or poison themselves with non-nutritive ‘alternatives.’ For more information on aspartame’s adverse health effects go to our research page on the topic: http://www.greenmedinfo.com/toxic-ingredient/aspartame

When it comes to dieting, stick with the moderate consumption of naturally sweet foods, especially high-quality, organically-produced fruits. There are also sweet substances, such as honey, xylitol and even stevia, that may provide a natural alternative to synthetic/artificial sweeteners. But be forewarned, even natural low- or no-calorie sweeteners may participate in unintended, adverse consequences of divorcing caloric content from the sensation of sweetness, subsequently stimulating appetite ‘back lash.’

As long as we remember that no form of dieting is worth dying for, and try to stay away from ‘tricking’ our body into thinking its getting something its not, we should be able to reach our ideal weight by exerting a good balance of patience and discipline with ourselves.

It Is Illegal To Feed The Homeless In Cities All Over The United States

What would you do if a police officer threatened to arrest you for trying to share a sandwich with a desperately hungry homeless woman that really needed it? Such a notion sounds absolutely bizarre, but this is actually happening in major cities all over the United States. More than 50 large U.S. cities have adopted “anti-camping” or “anti-food sharing” laws in recent years, and in many of these cities the police are strictly enforcing these laws. Sometimes the goal appears to be to get the homeless people to go away. Apparently the heartless politicians that are passing these laws believe that if the homeless can’t get any more free food and if they keep getting thrown into prison for “illegal camping” they will eventually decide to go somewhere else where they won’t be hassled so much. This is yet another example of how heartless our society is becoming. The middle class is being absolutely shredded and poverty is absolutely exploding, but meanwhile the hearts of many Americans are growing very cold. If this continues, what is the future of America going to look like?

An organization called Love Wins Ministries made national headlines recently when police in Raleigh, North Carolina threatened to arrest them if they distributed sausage biscuits and coffee to homeless people living in the heart of the city. Love Wins Ministries had been doing this for years, but now it is apparently illegal. The following is from someone who was actually there…

On the morning of Saturday, August, 24, Love Wins showed up at Moore Square at 9:00 a.m., just like we have done virtually every Saturday and Sunday for the last six years. We provide, without cost or obligation, hot coffee and a breakfast sandwich to anyone who wants one. We keep this promise to our community in cooperation with five different, large suburban churches that help us with manpower and funding.

On that morning three officers from Raleigh Police Department prevented us from doing our work, for the first time ever. An officer said, quite bluntly, that if we attempted to distribute food, we would be arrested.

Our partnering church brought 100 sausage biscuits and large amounts of coffee. We asked the officers for permission to disperse the biscuits to the over 70 people who had lined up, waiting to eat. They said no. I had to face those who were waiting and tell them that I could not feed them, or I would be arrested.

Does reading that upset you?

It should.

And this is not just happening in Raleigh – this is literally happening all over the country.

In Orlando, Florida laws against feeding the homeless were actually upheld in court…

Since when is it illegal to give somebody food? In Orlando FL, it has been since April 2011, when a group of activists lost a court battle against the city to overturn its 2006 laws that restrict sharing food with groups of more than 25 people. The ordinance requires those who do these “large” charitable food sharings in parks within two miles of City Hall to obtain a permit and limits each group to two permits per park for a year.

That is yet another example of how corrupt and unjust our court system has become.

The funny thing is that some of these control freak politicians actually believe that they are “helping” the homeless by passing such laws. In New York City, Mayor Bloomberg has banned citizens from donating food directly to homeless shelters and he is actually convinced that it was the right thing to do for the homeless…

Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s food police have struck again!

Outlawed are food donations to homeless shelters because the city can’t assess their salt, fat and fiber content, reports CBS 2’s Marcia Kramer.

Glenn Richter arrived at a West Side synagogue on Monday to collect surplus bagels — fresh nutritious bagels — to donate to the poor. However, under a new edict from Bloomberg’s food police he can no longer donate the food to city homeless shelters.

Do you really think that the homeless care about the “salt, fat and fiber content” of their food?

Of course not.

They just want to eat.

It would be one thing if there were just a few isolated cities around the nation that were passing these kinds of laws. Unfortunately, that is not the case. In fact, according to USA Today, more than 50 large cities have passed such laws…

Atlanta, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami, Oklahoma City and more than 50 other cities have previously adopted some kind of anti-camping or anti-food-sharing laws, according to the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty.

Hearts are growing cold at the same time that the need for love and compassion in our society is growing.

As I proved the other day, there has not been any economic recovery for most Americans, and a recent CNBC article echoed those sentiments…

How strong the economic recovery has been since the Great Recession ended in 2009 probably depends on viewpoint.

For those in the top 5 percent, the recovery has been pretty good.

As for the other 95 percent, well … maybe not so much.

Even though corporate profits have soared to record levels in recent years and Wall Street has boomed thanks to Federal Reserve money printing, most Americans are still really struggling. The following very startling chart comes via Jim Quinn’s Burning Platform blog…

The mainstream media continually insists that we are in an “economic recovery” and that the economy “is growing”, but median household income is actually 4.4 percent lower than it was when the last recession officially “ended”.

There aren’t nearly enough jobs for everyone anymore, and the quality of the jobs that do exist continues to decline at a frightening pace.

As a result, more Americans are being forced to turn to the government for help than ever before. At this point, more than 100 million Americans are on welfare, and that does not even count programs such as Medicare or Social Security.

But nobody should ever look down on those that are getting government assistance.

The truth is that you might be next.

In fact, according to the Associated Press, four out of every five adults in the United States will “struggle with joblessness, near poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives”.

So don’t ever be afraid to feed the homeless or to assist someone in need.

Someday you might be the one that needs the help.

Russia Sends Two Warships to Mediterranean

Russia is sending an anti-submarine ship and a missile cruiser to the eastern Mediterranean over the next few days because of the “well-known situation”, Interfax news agency quoted a source in the armed forces’ general staff on Thursday.

“The well-known situation shaping up in the eastern Mediterranean called for certain corrections to the make-up of the naval forces,” a source in the Russian General Staff told Interfax. “A large anti-submarine ship of the Northern Fleet will join them (the existing naval forces) over the next few days.

“Later it will be joined by the Moskva, a rocket cruiser of the Black Sea Fleet which is now wrapping up its tasks in the northern Atlantic and will soon begin a Transatlantic voyage towards the Strait of Gibraltar.”

In addition, a rocket cruiser of the Pacific Fleet, the Varyag, will join the Russian naval forces in the Mediterranean this autumn by replacing a large anti-submarine ship.

The navy later denied the deployment was linked to events in Syria and said it was part of a long-planned rotation of its ships in the Mediterranean. It did not say what kind of vessels, or how many, were on their way to the region.

The initial Interfax report had made clear that the aim was to beef up the navy’s presence and not to replace the ships in the Mediterranean.

Have you ever wondered why the heart is the first organ to function during the fetal development process? One of the reasons why the heart is the first organ to function is, because it is an electromagnetic field generator that acts like a broadcasting device. As the heart beats, it sends out electromagnetic waves that contain essential information. These waves of information are received by all cells of the fetus; therefore, they affect how the fetus is developed.

Below is an excerpt from my book Staradigm that discusses about the intelligence and roles of the heart.

The heart is one of the most important organs in the human body, because it is one of the main mediums for connecting us to each other and the Universe. Conventional science has taught us that the main role of the heart is to pump blood to all the systems of our body. This definition of the heart is not very accurate. Besides pumping blood, the heart also has an intelligence of its own.

According to neurocardiologists, 60 to 65 percent of heart cells are neuron cells, not muscle cells.² This discovery has helped them develop experiments that have proved the heart works similar to the brain and in some ways is even superior to the brain. This may be the reason that the heart is the first organ to function after conception. Within about 20 days after conception, the heart starts to function, but the brain does not function until after roughly 90 days. This information tells us that the brain is secondary to the heart.

The heart gives us universal characteristic and the brain gives us individual characteristic. For this reason, the heart holds the key to bonding with others. Because the heart gives us universal characteristic and is the key to bonding, if we want to live in a world filled with peace and love, we need to listen and think more with our hearts instead of only our brains. Through the hidden power of the heart, we can achieve universal understanding; therefore, living in a world filled with peace and love is possible.

Mysteries of the Heart

(HeartMath.org) For centuries, the heart has been considered the source of emotion, courage and wisdom. At the Institute of HeartMath (IHM) Research Center, we are exploring the physiological mechanisms by which the heart communicates with the brain, thereby influencing information processing, perceptions, emotions and health. We are asking questions such as: Why do people experience the feeling or sensation of love and other positive emotional states in the area of the heart and what are the physiological ramifications of these emotions? How do stress and different emotional states affect the autonomic nervous system, the hormonal and immune systems, the heart and brain?

Over the years we have experimented with different psychological and physiological measures, but it was consistently heart rate variability, or heart rhythms, that stood out as the most dynamic and reflective of inner emotional states and stress. It became clear that negative emotions lead to increased disorder in the heart’s rhythms and in the autonomic nervous system, thereby adversely affecting the rest of the body. In contrast, positive emotions create increased harmony and coherence in heart rhythms and improve balance in the nervous system. The health implications are easy to understand: Disharmony in the nervous system leads to inefficiency and increased stress on the heart and other organs while harmonious rhythms are more efficient and less stressful to the body’s systems.

More intriguing are the dramatic positive changes that occur when techniques are applied that increase coherence in rhythmic patterns of heart rate variability. These include shifts in perception and the ability to reduce stress and deal more effectively with difficult situations. We observed that the heart was acting as though it had a mind of its own and was profoundly influencing the way we perceive and respond to the world. In essence, it appeared that the heart was affecting intelligence and awareness.

The answers to many of our original questions now provide a scientific basis to explain how and why the heart affects mental clarity, creativity, emotional balance and personal effectiveness. Our research and that of others indicate that the heart is far more than a simple pump. The heart is, in fact, a highly complex, self-organized information processing center with its own functional “brain” that communicates with and influences the cranial brain via the nervous system, hormonal system and other pathways. These influences profoundly affect brain function and most of the body’s major organs, and ultimately determine the quality of life.

University of Washington researchers have performed what they believe is the first noninvasive human-to-human brain interface, with one researcher able to send a brain signal via the Internet to control the hand motions of a fellow researcher.

Using electrical brain recordings and a form of magnetic stimulation, Rajesh Rao sent a brain signal to Andrea Stocco on the other side of the UW campus, causing Stocco’s finger to move on a keyboard.

While researchers at Duke University have demonstrated brain-to-brain communication between two rats, and Harvard researchers have demonstrated it between a human and a rat, Rao and Stocco believe this is the first demonstration of human-to-human brain interfacing.

“The Internet was a way to connect computers, and now it can be a way to connect brains,” Stocco said. “We want to take the knowledge of a brain and transmit it directly from brain to brain.”

The researchers captured the full demonstration on video recorded in both labs. The version available at the end of this story has been edited for length.

Rao, a UW professor of computer science and engineering, has been working on brain-computer interfacing (BCI) in his lab for more than 10 years and just published a textbook on the subject. In 2011, spurred by the rapid advances in BCI technology, he believed he could demonstrate the concept of human brain-to-brain interfacing. So he partnered with Stocco, a UW research assistant professor in psychology at the UW’s Institute for Learning & Brain Sciences.

On Aug. 12, Rao sat in his lab wearing a cap with electrodes hooked up to an electroencephalography machine, which reads electrical activity in the brain. Stocco was in his lab across campus wearing a purple swim cap marked with the stimulation site for the transcranial magnetic stimulation coil that was placed directly over his left motor cortex, which controls hand movement.

The team had a Skype connection set up so the two labs could coordinate, though neither Rao nor Stocco could see the Skype screens.

Rao looked at a computer screen and played a simple video game with his mind. When he was supposed to fire a cannon at a target, he imagined moving his right hand (being careful not to actually move his hand), causing a cursor to hit the “fire” button. Almost instantaneously, Stocco, who wore noise-canceling earbuds and wasn’t looking at a computer screen, involuntarily moved his right index finger to push the space bar on the keyboard in front of him, as if firing the cannon. Stocco compared the feeling of his hand moving involuntarily to that of a nervous tic.

“It was both exciting and eerie to watch an imagined action from my brain get translated into actual action by another brain,” Rao said. “This was basically a one-way flow of information from my brain to his. The next step is having a more equitable two-way conversation directly between the two brains.”

The technologies used by the researchers for recording and stimulating the brain are both well-known. Electroencephalography, or EEG, is routinely used by clinicians and researchers to record brain activity noninvasively from the scalp. Transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS, is a noninvasive way of delivering stimulation to the brain to elicit a response. Its effect depends on where the coil is placed; in this case, it was placed directly over the brain region that controls a person’s right hand. By activating these neurons, the stimulation convinced the brain that it needed to move the right hand.

Computer science and engineering undergraduates Matthew Bryan, Bryan Djunaedi, Joseph Wu and Alex Dadgar, along with bioengineering graduate student Dev Sarma, wrote the computer code for the project, translating Rao’s brain signals into a command for Stocco’s brain.

“Brain-computer interface is something people have been talking about for a long, long time,” said Chantel Prat, assistant professor in psychology at the UW’s Institute for Learning & Brain Sciences, and Stocco’s wife and research partner who helped conduct the experiment. “We plugged a brain into the most complex computer anyone has ever studied, and that is another brain.”

At first blush, this breakthrough brings to mind all kinds of science fiction scenarios. Stocco jokingly referred to it as a “Vulcan mind meld.” But Rao cautioned this technology only reads certain kinds of simple brain signals, not a person’s thoughts. And it doesn’t give anyone the ability to control your actions against your will.

Both researchers were in the lab wearing highly specialized equipment and under ideal conditions. They also had to obtain and follow a stringent set of international human-subject testing rules to conduct the demonstration.

“I think some people will be unnerved by this because they will overestimate the technology,” Prat said. “There’s no possible way the technology that we have could be used on a person unknowingly or without their willing participation.”

Stocco said years from now the technology could be used, for example, by someone on the ground to help a flight attendant or passenger land an airplane if the pilot becomes incapacitated. Or a person with disabilities could communicate his or her wish, say, for food or water. The brain signals from one person to another would work even if they didn’t speak the same language.

Rao and Stocco next plan to conduct an experiment that would transmit more complex information from one brain to the other. If that works, they then will conduct the experiment on a larger pool of subjects.

Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt is an American freelance writer and whistleblower who served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education during the first term of U.S. President Ronald Reagan, and staff employee of the US State Department (South Africa, Belgium, South Korea). She was born in 1930 and attended Dana Hall preparatory school and Katharine Gibbs College in New York City, where she studied business. Iserbyt’s father and grandfather were Yale University graduates and members of the Skull and Bones secret society.

She is known for writing the book The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America. The book claims that changes gradually brought into the American public education system attempt to eliminate the influences of a child’s parents (religion, morals, national patriotism), and mold the child into a member of the proletariat in preparation for a socialist-collectivist world of the future. She alleges that these changes originated from plans formulated primarily by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Education and Rockefeller General Education Board, and details what she says are the psychological methods used to implement and effect the changes.

In an interview concerning secret societies and the elite agenda she disclosed that in the early 1980s she had a chance to meet with Norman Dodd who had been the chief investigator for the United States House Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations commonly known as the B. Carroll Reece Committee. In the video she claims that Dodd discussed a ‘network’ of individuals including Carnegie who planned to bring about world peace by means of rapid changes in society. These changes would be brought about by involving the populace in various wars and military conflicts. She further claimed that Dodd had discussions with Rowan Gaither, the president of the Ford Foundation in which he revealed that directives from the President of the United States compelled foundations related to the Ford Foundation to direct their funding into bringing about the merger of the USA with the Soviet Union.

Through her father Charlotte Iserbyt was able to gain possession of the complete listings of the members, living and dead, of the Yale University Skull and Bones secret society, fashioned into a three-volume set: living members, deceased members, and complete listing of both. She cooperated in the writing of Dr. Antony C. Sutton’s book America’s Secret Establishment – The Order of Skull & Bones by providing the list of members obtained from her father.

Fifteen Yale juniors are invited to join the Skulls each year in a process called “tapping”. Long-Term Unemployed Baby Boomers in 2013

Those 50 and older, who were laid off over the past 5 years, have had an especially difficult time being rehired. Many have already drained their savings and now rely on government services. Some have taken their own lives.

For the Baby Boomers, the Great Recession and its aftermath has taken its toll on the sons and daughters of the Silent Generation…those who grew up during the Great Depression and World War Two — those who were sometimes called the “The Lucky Few”. But in the prime of their working careers, many of their children are struggling to survive. They weren’t so lucky. Simply put, as Susan Sipprelle of the website Over Fifty and Out of Work says, “They were the wrong age at the wrong time.”

According to a study by the Government Accountability Office released last year, workers 55 and older have experienced consistently longer periods of unemployment than younger workers, as employers seek cheaper labor and look to skirt potentially higher health care costs.

Whenever we hear media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians complain that too many people are using government programs (SNAP, disability, TANF, etc.) to survive on, and saying that there are “plenty” of jobs to be had, it can really make one’s blood boil. These people always use a few anecdotal stories (that may or may not be true) to make their arguments for cutting taxes for the rich, rather than using non-partisan data and research to explain why so many people need government programs to live on. Especially ever since the job market has morphed over the past 30 years with the offshoring of good-paying manufacturing and tech jobs, while simultaneously, having such explosive growth in the low-paying service, fast-food and retail industries.

Instead, these media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians use misleading, false, and skewed (politically or ideologically motivated) reports and studies from “think tanks” that are pushing the interests of big business, and NOT the interests of every day American workers. The pro-business think tanks, pro-business lobbying groups and pro-business media outlets (e.g. Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute, Business Roundtable, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, etc.) outright lies to the voters, tricking them into voting against their own best interests. They like to use the word “freedom” in place of the word “greed”. It’s despicable that they use faux patriotism to hide their true anti-worker agenda. It’s a shame that many who dodged the draft (politicians, CEOs, media pundits, etc.), are now in power and oppresses the true heroes who actually served their country.

The fact is that for the past 5 years it has NOT been easy to get a job — any job — especially one that actually pays a living wage, and is a regular full-time job, and is a permanent position, and also offers humane benefits (like healthcare). For the past 5 years most jobs have been either part-time, low-paying and/or temporary. Employers are doing more with less. According to two articles in the L.A. Times (Part One and Part Two) Americans are already hard-working people. It’s just that employers keep pushing them for ever more “productivity” — and in the process, are wearing workers down.

What don’t these media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians understand? Most of us suspect that most do understand — and know all too well — but that they just don’t care, and only want what’s best for the billionaires on the Forbes 400 List — and not what’s in the best interests of average working Americans. According to the Social Security Administration, 50% of all U.S. wage earners who filed a W-4 with an employer and paid FICA taxes earned $26,965 a year or LESS.

Many people still don’t believe (or can comprehend) that the Great Recession displaced over 8.7 million workers, or that the offshoring of jobs is still escalating and exacerbating the unemployment problem. Almost a third of all domestic U.S. jobs are still prone to offshoring while 30 million Americans (after 5 long years) still need a full-time job (Apple’s iPhones will soon be re-classified as part of U.S. Gross “Domestic” Product, rather than as imports).

Many media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians are trying to convince the general public that 47 million Americans are gaming the system to use food stamps because they are lazy, not because they need SNAP to eat. It’s been wealthier Americans who have been gaming the system with a rigged tax code, but most multi-millionaire news pundits on the major cable news channels will almost never admit this because they don’t want their taxes going up — or their bosses’ taxes going up (the billionaires on the Forbes 400 List that own the major media outlets.)

Because the government stops counting people in the unemployment rate after a given time, millions of unemployed Americans are no longer counted. But for the sake of argument, by using the government’s reported U-3 numbers — counting part-time workers who want and need full-time work, there are still 20 million Americans who need a full-time job, but there are only 3.8 million listed job openings. Can these media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians do simple math? Are they burying their heads in the sand like ostriches, thinking if they don’t see the danger, none exists? Or are the politicians so beholden to their billionaire campaign donors that they are too afraid to utter the truth to their constituents — putting their jobs before the interests of the American people?

A research paper by Ghayad and William Dickens (Federal Reserve Bank of Boston) showed that the long-term unemployed are struggling to find work, no matter how many job openings there are. In an interview for the Wall Street Journal Ghayad says, “Once you are long-term unemployed, nobody calls you back.”

But many of the media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians still think it’s the same now as it was back in the “old days”, when all one had to do was pull up their boot straps. (Reality check: No, this is not the old days. The older long-term unemployed workers were raised during the old days and most of them always found jobs during the old days. These days are not the old days.)

In a speech to a local Chamber of Commerce (a business lobbying group), Rep. Dave Joyce (a Republican from Ohio) said, “The trouble is, it’s because they [employers] either can’t find people to come to work sober, daily, drug-free and want to learn the necessary skills going forward to be able to do those jobs.” (This is a typical anecdotal story to disparage the less fortunate and most unlucky…like older long-term unemployed Americans, who may have already consistently worked and paid taxes for the past 35 years during “the old days”.)

Ted Cruz, a Republican from Texas (seen giving a speech on C-SPAN last night) said Obamacare was forcing businesses to offshore their manufacturing to China (although this has been happening since the 1970s); and a pundit on MSNBC said today that manufacturing workers who had their jobs offshored overseas failed to acquire new skills, like in the tech industry (even though those jobs were also offshored).

Howard Foster writes, “President Obama was once asked by the wife of an unemployed engineer why the U.S. allows H-1B visas for engineers and other high-tech workers when so many are unemployed. The president seemed remarkably ill-informed in responding. He said, without citing any statistics, that businesses tell him they cannot find enough engineers.”

But this kind of anecdotal evidence is usually misleading. Obama should have known that there are many unemployed engineers. In fact, the U.S. Census had put the number at 1.8 million. And in a study by the Economic Policy Institute, they found that “the United States has more than a sufficient supply of workers available to work in STEM occupations.”

The editorial board of the New York Times writes, “There is a durable belief that much of today’s unemployment is rooted in a skills gap, in which good jobs go unfilled for lack of qualified applicants. This is mostly a corporate fiction, based in part on self-interest and a misreading of government data. When there are many more applicants than jobs, employers tend to impose over-exacting criteria, and then wait for the perfect match. They also offer tightfisted pay packages.”

It seems that many media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians are trying to convince the general public that over the course of 19 months (during the Great Recession, from December 2007 to June 2009) 8.7 million workers suddenly lost their jobs skills. But many of them who are over 50 years old have PLENTY of job skills — a LIFETIME of jobs skills. Americans don’t lack job skills, they lack jobs.

How easy is it (really) to find a job? And especially for older workers, who have been passed over in record numbers? Older unemployed Americans have not been hired mainly because 1) they’re older, and 2) they’re unemployed. Otherwise, they’re responsible, mature, experienced and diplomatic individuals, and many have skills and most are reasonably intelligent; but they have those two fatal flaws: 1) they were over 50 years old and 2) they were laid off.

A U.S. Government Accountability Office study identified employer reluctance to hire older workers as a key challenge that older workers face in finding reemployment. The GAO also found that the number of workers age 55 and over experiencing long-term unemployment has grown substantially since the recession began in 2007. Other findings:

Individuals age 55 and over have consistently experienced longer durations of unemployment than younger workers.
The median length of unemployment has more than tripled for older workers.
Only 31 percent of those older workers age 55-64 who were displaced between 2007 and 2009 had regained full-time employment.
Several experts interviewed said long-term unemployment diminishes the likelihood that older workers will ever be re-employed.
Long-term unemployed older workers who exhaust unemployment benefits before turning 62 are particularly at great risk.
Displaced older workers suffer greater wage losses than younger workers.
The effects of job loss are likely to be longer-lasting for older workers, including them being more likely to lose subsequent jobs and experience additional unemployment spells.
Losing their jobs has taken a toll on their sense of self-worth, reduced their standard of living, and put them at risk of long-term financial hardship.
Long-term unemployed older workers struggled to pay health insurance premiums and some said they had found it difficult to secure private insurance because of high costs or preexisting conditions. Many had forgone seeking medical care altogether, and stopped taking prescribed medications because they could not afford them.

A study by the Urban Institute also reported that older adults took longer to find work when they lost their jobs; and that wage losses were especially steep for unemployed workers in their fifties who managed to become re-employed. As of 2011:

Adults in their fifties spent more time unemployed than their younger counterparts.
Half of workers age 50 to 61 who became unemployed spent at least six months out of work (It’s much higher now.)
It took more than nine months of job search for half of unemployed adults age 50 to 61 to find work (It’s much higher now.)
Unemployed adults in their fifties were about a fifth less likely than their counterparts age 25 to 34 to become reemployed. (It’s much higher now.) – “Conclusions” on page 5

A newer study from the Urban Institute shows that even if the economy returns to full employment, many workers are still likely to face long-term unemployment. Other findings:

Long-term unemployed workers are less educated than employed workers, but actually somewhat more educated than newly unemployed and discouraged workers.
Ages 56 to 65 – 14.8 percent are long-term unemployed workers, 15.7 percent are employed workers, and 17.8 percent are discouraged workers.
40.5 percent of long-term unemployed job seekers are age 16 to 25. This suggests that the youngest job seekers are likely to experience shorter spells of unemployment.
The characteristics of the long-term unemployed changed from the periods before (2007), during (2009), and after (2012) the Great Recession. The long-term unemployed in 2012 were somewhat more educated than before the Great Recession.
Workers with less than a high school degree now make up 18.1 percent of job seekers who have been out of work more than six months, rather than 23.5 percent as was the case in 2007.
Those with some college but no degree are making up an increasing share of the long-term unemployed.

According to another report by economists Dean Baker and Kevin Hassett that was cited by the New York Times (which was also referred to in a congressional hearing for older workers) a worker between the ages 50 and 61, and who had been unemployed for 17 months or longer, only had about a 9 percent chance of ever finding a new job. And the longer they were unemployed, the lower their chances for ever finding work again. Add in any sub-standard credit reports because they were unemployed, medical records indicating below average health, any back taxes owed, a mortgage foreclosure because of job loss, or a rejected disability claim by Social Security, and the odds are much worse for an older person ever finding a job again — essentially, they are SOL.

Since the Great Recession began, many older workers have been out of work for five years or longer, caught between a rock and a hard place, because no one will hire them and they are not yet old enough to qualify for regular Social Security.

All in all, the Baby Boomers were the greatest victims of the recession and its grim aftermath. These Americans in their 50s and early 60s — those near retirement age who do not yet have access to Medicare and Social Security — have lost the most earnings power of any age group.

And a study by economists at Wellesley College found that people who lost their jobs in the few years before becoming eligible for Social Security, also lost up to three years from their life expectancy, largely because they no longer had access to affordable health care.

Many older workers have run through their retirement savings: One survey of post 50s found 25 percent had used up all of their savings between 2007 and 2010. And those who are forced to take Social Security at age 62 are stuck at a lower benefit for life. According to the GAO report, someone who exited the workforce at that age would receive a median monthly benefit of $909 -– compared to $1,212 for people who wait to take Social Security until age 66.

For someone who’s 55 years old today, and has already been unemployed for 5 years, they would still have to wait another 7 years before they can become eligible to take an early Social Security retirement at the age 62 (with the reduced income). But they will still be without affordable health care coverage until they can qualify for Medicare at age 65 — unless of course, with the new qualification rules, they might finally be eligible for Medicaid in 2014. (And we certainly know who opposes this.)

Research also suggests that long-term unemployed Baby Boomers may die sooner too, because their health, their income security and their mental well-being were battered by the Great Recession at a crucial time in their lives. The study cited also found that for people in that age group, the long-term unemployed were also more prone to suicide.

The major TV media outlets consistently reports on an improving employment situation, based on the government reported U-3 unemployment rate, but this is very misleading. The U-6 rate would be a more accurate measure (even though even that statistic doesn’t include millions more who have supposedly “dropped out” of the labor force. Some have put the number of “discouraged workers” between 8 and 10 million since December 2007 (when the Great Recession began), and most likely the majority of them are 99ers. (And one can reasonably guess, most of them were older workers.)

And rarely is the plight of older workers ever mentioned, except in a few online stories. Instead, we hear major media pundits interviewing many bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists, politicians and other corporate shills who claim the current administration is turning the country into a nation of dependents, rather than pointing out the offshoring of good jobs, the mass creation of poor jobs, and the huge difficulty of finding any job at all. Their emphases has primarily been on government programs to sustain those who are no longer being offered any opportunity at all to earn a livelihood.

The United States has the worst income inequality of any industrialized nation. One of the very few talking heads in the major media who decries this record-high income inequality is Ed Schultz (who was once a conservative) on MSNBC. It’s odd, in that that President Obama would mention the middle-class so often, the offshoring of jobs, and a more fair tax system, after he had also made the CEO of General Electric (owner of MSNBC) his Jobs Czar when GE’s CEO not only offshored many good domestic jobs, but he had also successfully “avoided” paying any corporate taxes. (Now Obama is blaming homeowners instead of the banks for the housing crisis. That my friend, is also a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.)

For those over 50 and unemployed, the statistics are grim. Once out of a job, older workers have a much harder time finding work. The reality is that the problem of the older unemployed was acute during the Great Recession, and is now chronic.

Andrew Sum, director of Northeastern University’s Center for Labor Market Studies, says, “The longer you’re unemployed, the more likely you are to leave the labor force, and the more likely it’s an early retirement for you.”

According to the Labor Department, the majority of the long-term unemployed are older white men, including many college-educated workers who rebounded from job losses earlier in their careers, only to see employment prospects dim in what should be their prime earning years. Economists say the longer that they are unemployed, the harder it becomes for them to find work.

“It’s the problem I worry about the most,” said Nariman Behravesh, chief economist for IHS Global Insight, a Lexington forecasting firm. “We’re condemning these people, creating this permanent underclass. Over 50, it’s just impossible to get a job.”

Those 55 and older who lose jobs have the most difficulty finding new ones. This segment of the labor force has consistently had the highest long-term unemployment rates [and experts say] is a looming public policy crisis as this group becomes dependent on various forms of public assistance — because of either permanent joblessness or prolonged unemployment. Only about 15 percent had been able to find a full-time job.

AARP’s Public Policy Institute surveyed unemployed baby boomers in 2010 and 2011. While 71% blamed their unemployment on the bad economy, almost half also said they believed age discrimination was also at play.

A few statements made at a Congressional hearing last year for older workers who were long-term unemployed:

Senator Herb Kohl (D-Wisconsin) “While Americans were hit hard by this recession, the ramifications for older workers are particularly severe. Once older workers lost their jobs, they struggled far more than other groups to find work again.”

Charles A. Jeszeck at the U.S. Government Accountability Office: “An October 2011 AARP survey of workers age 50 and over found that nearly a quarter said that they had used all of their savings during the past three years. Further, long-term unemployed workers nearing age 62 may opt to claim benefits earlier than they would have if they had still been working. Claiming benefits early, particularly for life-long low earners, can increase the risk of poverty at older ages.”

Joseph Carbone, President and CEO of The WorkPlace: “It’s compounded for older workers. They’re dealing with the stigma of being older. They’re dealing with the prejudices that come with it, with the discrimination that comes with it [and the] perception that lots of folks have that you’re looking for something for nothing — or your skills are too dull to be of help to anybody. It’s a challenge if you’re under 50. It’s a category 5 hurricane if you’re over 50.” (In an interview for PBS Carbone also said “They’re carrying a double whammy, not just the long-term unemployment, but they’re 50 and older.)

Christine Owens – Executive Director of the National Employment Law Project: “When they [older workers] become unemployed they are more likely to remain so and to remain so for longer periods of time. Moreover, older unemployed workers are three times as likely as younger unemployed workers to become unemployed because they have lost their jobs.” She also mentions the Protecting Older Americans Against Discrimination Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. The longer any worker is unemployed, the longer one tends to stay unemployed. Businesses hesitate to hire people who have not been working. Those workers tend to get “discouraged”. The result is what wonks call hysteresis, where the scars from joblessness diminish the chance of future employment and reduce future earnings.

In an exposé by The Atlantic, they found that employers intentionally screen out the long-term unemployed, even if their résumé has the same work experience as someone unemployed for less than six months.

In one ABC report about older unemployed workers (video) it shows that the economy might be slowly recovering, but not for the long-term unemployed, especially not for Baby Boomers over 50 years old. They have been in a continuing struggle to find work in the wake of the Great Recession after 5 years of trying to find work — and after repeated rejections.

Researchers found that the long-term unemployed will suffer deep mental and emotional scars from the experience. A Gallup study in the Economic Journal found that those who were out of work for at least a year took longer to recover emotionally than those who had lost a spouse. The results showed quantifiable declines in their health, their self-esteem and their overall emotional well-being. One Gallop Poll showed unemployed adults and those not working as much as they would like are about twice as likely as Americans who are employed full time to be depressed.

Carl Van Horn, director of the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University in New Jersey says:

“There is really no demographic age group that has as much difficulty getting back in the job market if they lose a job. There is definitely bias against older workers, even if you have skills. They are depressed. They can’t deal with rejection anymore. Many of them are requiring food stamps and Social Security Disability Insurance. There has been a high early-enrollment in Social Security, which is a lifetime punishment for people who are forced to do this, because many are taking roughly one-third less at 62.”

The New York Times: Suicides Spike 30% for Baby Boomers:

Suicide rates among middle-age Americans have risen sharply in the past decade, prompting concern for a generation of baby boomers who have faced years of economic worry.
The most pronounced increases were seen among men in their 50s, a group in which suicide rates jumped by nearly 50 percent.
It is the baby boomer group where we see the highest rates of suicide.

Most reasonable and informed people can assume that the vast majority of those deceased Baby Boomers would much rather have had a full-time job that paid a living wage (with healthcare). But for some reason, many of those media pundits, bloggers, radio hosts, lobbyists and politicians (that cater to the ultra-wealthy) would much rather have the general public believe otherwise — that it was the Boomer’s laziness or their lack of job skills, rather than their economic desperation, which had led to their early demise.

From the New York Times, who mentions jobless Boomers in general, but they don’t specifically mention “long-term” unemployed Boomers.

* Two-thirds in that age group [55 to 64] who found work again are making less than they did in their previous job; their median salary loss is 18 percent.
* The re-employment rate for 55- to 64-year-olds is 47 percent — and finding another job takes far longer (46 weeks for boomers.)

Remember: The longer a Boomer (or anyone else for that matter) is unemployed, the less chance they have at re-employment. And remember all those that are no longer even being counted by the government, so they wouldn’t be included in the New York Times recent statistics.

The World According to The Global Power Brokers

When the World Economic Forum released its 2013 Global Risks Report earlier this year, it included an interesting array of proposals which should raise eyebrows and be taken very seriously.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) used risk management exercises to address many of the challenges that we all know about – growing social and political violence, the West’s on-going financial collapse, food and water shortages, and the Elite’s all-time favorite “global terrorism”.

However, they also worked out “proposals for government” and some rather uncanny “X Factors” which, coming as they do from one of the global powers favorite think-tanks, we would do well to read between the lines.

As German playwright Johann W. Goethe once remarked, “coming events cast their shadows forwards”. This is particularly true when those shadows are cast by global power brokers in a position to drive and control those coming events, according to their hearts’ desire, and here we are talking about the World Economic Forum (WEF), founded in 1971. Chaired by Klaus Schwab, who sits on David Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission, means he has direct access to the families of Rockefeller, Bush, Soros, Kissinger, Brzezinski, Rothschild, Lazard, Harriman, Montbatten, Warburg, Schiff, Borbón, and Orange.

Indeed, it is from behind these curtains that the global elite are planning to impose a world government on all mankind; by designing, planning, and executing the macro-changes that they need to impose upon all countries – each according to need and in their due time – as the process of privatizing global power rams forwards on a global scale.

Two interesting issues are being highlighted by the elite through the WEF: the re-engineering of national governments, and the introduction of so-called “X Factors” into the collective psyche.

The future of government

Subtitled “Lessons Learned from around the World; Global Agenda Council on the Future of Government”, this WEF piece written in 2011 echoes the Council on Foreign Relations academic, Richard Gardner’s seminal essay written almost forty years ago on the “hard road to the new world order”, where he recommended sovereign Nation-states should be eroded “piece by piece”.

This Report urges governments to “align to the future by adapting and continuously evolving to create value”, adding that governments “need to stay relevant by being responsive to rapidly changing conditions and citizens’ expectations, and build capacity to operate effectively in complex, interdependent networks of organizations and systems across the public, private and non-profit sectors to co-produce public value.”

It then goes on to recommend “what is needed today is Flatter, Agile, Streamlined and Tech-enabled (FAST) government.”

Translating this think-tankese mumbo-jumbo into English, we get:

Flatter = less authority; less sovereignty;

Agile = more malleable; controllable;

Streamlined = less meaningful; less powerful.

Tech-enabled = subservient to those who own/operate/control technological R&D.

Need we remind ourselves that the true mission of sovereign nation-states is not to “adapt and continuously evolve” which, again, is think-tankese for “aligning to the coming world government, or else”?

The true and inalienable functions of sovereign nation-states and their governments are to:

Promote the Common Good of the vast majority of the people over and above the interests and greed of powerful local and/or foreign minorities, that are embedded in local, public and private power structures, and

Defend the country’s national interest in today’s dangerous, even deadly, world made so precisely because of small and illegitimately powerful minorities that have everywhere usurped far too much power.

President Putin of Russia understands this only too well; so does president Xi Jinping of China. Most other countries, however, either never learned this fundamental lesson or seem to have forgotten it.

The global elites suggest a number of measures to “align civil service systems to the requirements of their proposed ‘FAST Governments’ based on such factors as carefully planned workforce reductions coupled with the significant organizational, technological and workforce advances inherent in FAST governments to build slim and streamlined organizations that can thrive in the new world order… Adaptive governments that share labor, services and resources through networked approaches and Gov 2.0 strategies can remain slim while delivering on their mission in effective and innovative ways.”

Yes, I know: this sounds far more like a Corporate Annual Report than a geopolitical piece for creative statesmanship.

“The authors challenge governments to design and implement two new complementary ways of assessing governments’ performance. The first set of measures consists of a holistic approach to government performance along the four axes defined earlier as FAST. The second set of measures focuses on measuring the value of such transformation to citizens.”

If where it says “government”, you read “corporations”, and where it says “citizens”, you read “clients”, then you get a blueprint for private government.

“X-Factors”

Prying farther into what the future holds in store for us, Mr. Schwab’s team partnered with the editors of Britain’s leading science journal, Nature, and came up with a series of “X Factors”, five of which are truly revolutionary game-changers.

Just take a look at them, and then let’s infer what might lie behind the curtain:

1) “Runaway climate change: Is it possible that we have already passed a point of no return and that Earth’s atmosphere is tipping rapidly into an inhospitable state?” This ties in nicely with the Elite’s proposal of imposing a Global Carbon Tax backed by the coming world government’s legal framework, which will serve as a tool to control every country, region, city, and individual by allocating “carbon credits” based on their “carbon footprint”, thereby globally controlling all permissible activity.

2) “Significant cognitive enhancement: Ethical dilemmas akin to doping in sports could start to extend into daily working life; an arms race in the neural ‘enhancement’ of combat troops could also ensue.” Such scientific and technological breakthroughs are all basically controlled through the global network of mega corporate high-tech laboratories. We have an example in Monsanto’s patenting of genetically modified seeds; the leitmotiv is to impose uncrackable, unhackable, high-tech and secret encoding over just about every resource on planet Earth: from seeds to sports competitions; from NSA eavesdropping to military gear. The coming world government will reserve for its exclusive use specific override code factors that will allow them to take over communications systems, power grids and aircraft – military and civilian, in flight and on the ground (9/11 Conspiracy Theorists take note!).

3) “Rogue deployment of geo-engineering: Technology is now being developed to manipulate the climate; a state or private individual could use it unilaterally.” As if we did not know about Project HAARP – High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program – based in Alaska and Norway which has been undoubtedly playing dirty tricks all over the world, creating droughts and flooding!!

It appears that HAARP installations can generate directed high power electromagnetic standing waves over specific geographical areas that interfere with weather fronts, stopping rain clouds in their tracks. This can lead to too much rain on one side (floods) and too little rain on the other (droughts) of these invisible standing waves.

Also, as geologists well know, certain high power precisely aimed radio frequencies can be made to resonate with tectonic plates that are “ready to slip”; so with the right data the HAARP weapon might be used to trigger earthquakes/seaquakes that are “ready to happen”.

4) “Costs of living longer: Medical advances are prolonging life, but long-term palliative care is expensive. Covering the costs associated with old age could be a struggle.” A warning: The mysterious and anonymous Georgia Guidestones erected in 1980 in Ebert, Georgia which read like the global commandments, starts off by recommending the elites “maintain humanity under 500.000.000, in perpetual balance with nature”. Global depopulation is a-coming…

5) “Discovery of alien life: Proof of life’s existence elsewhere in the universe could have profound psychological implications for human belief systems.” What a convincing way to bring on world government almost overnight! In a Speech at the UN in 1987, former US President Ronald Reagan asked “how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask is not an alien force ALREADY among us?” Hmmm…

Contact with alien life forms would demand a unified representation for all of mankind; yes indeed: a world government. And, of course, over the past 70 years, Hollywood has mentally programmed the world to accept that any such contact would be with the Elite’s key representative, the United States. If one day soon little green men from Mars were to tell any human, “take me to your leader”, the proper landing strip will, of course, be the White House lawn.

The think-tankese conclusion: “The Global Risks Report is the flagship research publication of the ‘World Economic Forum’s Risk Response Network’ providing an independent platform for stakeholders to explore ways to collaborate on building resilience to global risks.”

Translation: Whoever controls the global agenda, the politically correct limits of debate and technological change, has an awfully huge edge over the rest of mankind, whether they are grouped by regions, nations, ideologies, demographics, raw material wealth, or whatever.

Actually, all this rings much more like an attempt at generating self-fulfilling prophecies, rather than on trying to understand how to tackle the world’s future problems.

Goethe was right: coming events do cast their shadows forward. The global elites’ mad drive to impose world government on all of us is exactly that: an increasingly dark shadow bent on dragging us all into the darkest night.

Nanotech Food Test May Help Expose Chemtrail Poisoning

Last week, the University of Missouri announced a new method to detect silver nanoparticles in fresh produce and other food products.

Though not mentioned by researchers, it’s conceivable that the protocol could be modified to test for chemtrail dispersants, as well.

Over 200 agricultural pesticides contain nanosilver, which studies have shown to be toxic to humans and the environment. Over 1,600 consumer products are known to contain nanoparticles, ranging from clothes to cleaning agents, to food, cosmetics, and drugs; but with no regulatory requirement to disclose, the real number is likely far higher by orders of magnitude.

“Our goal is to detect, identify and quantify these nanoparticles in food and food products and study their toxicity as soon as possible,” said Mengshi Lin, associate professor of food science in the MU College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, and lead author of the study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.

Lin’s team immersed pears in a silver nanoparticle solution similar to a pesticide application. They washed and rinsed the pears repeatedly over four days and found silver nanoparticles still attached to the skin, and some that had even penetrated the pulp.

“The penetration of silver nanoparticles is dangerous to consumers because they have the ability to relocate in the human body after digestion,” Lin said.

Several years of toxicity studies on nanoparticles reveal a host of health issues associated with their ingestion, including DNA, brain and respiratory damage.

Food research scientist Ellin Doyle noted that, “Nanoparticles are readily taken up by many types of cells in vitro and are expected to cross the blood-brain barrier that [normally] excludes many substances that might harm the brain.”

Back in 2005 Dr Mae-Wan Ho reported that, “Quantum dots consisting of a core of fluorescent cadmium selenide, touted as a non-invasive way to image internal body tissues, break down in the body, releasing cadmium, a toxic heavy metal.”

Later, Ho reported that a 2012 study shows nanoparticles bioaccumulate in soybeans, the nation’s second largest crop.

Several lawsuits against the Food & Drug Administration and Environmental Protection Agency seek regulatory oversight, to no avail.

In 2010, the FDA absurdly denied any foods contained nanoparticles, this despite its own scientists admitting it. In 2012, when the FDA was finally forced to admit nanoparticles exist in our food and cosmetics, it refused to regulate them.

Nanoparticles are ubiquitous in the drug industry as well. Not only can skin be fabricated on a nanoplatform, but a new development promises their nano product can encapsulate and destroy viruses in situ.

What happens to those nanocells after the virus is destroyed? Where do they go? We do know that nanoparticles can reach every part of the body and accumulate and damage an organ’s function, because of their ultra high reactivity due to their tiny size.

Size Matters

As with quantum physics, particles in the nano-size range behave differently than at the macro level.

Farmers and gardeners understand this instinctively when working with clay versus sandy soils. Clay particles are so tiny (2,000 nm) compared to sand (50,000 nm) that clay’s electrons can exert more attractive force, binding the tiny particles together. Too much clay in a soil’s texture, and water will be trapped, unable to seep further into the soil, drowning a plant’s roots.

By way of comparison, a red blood cell is 7,000 nm, while the DNA molecule is only 2.5 nm wide.

“Nanotechnology is a powerful new set of technologies for observing, taking apart and reconstructing nature at the atomic and molecular level,” wrote the International Center for Technology Assessment in response to the FDA’s refusal to regulate it.

Beyond its small size, ICTA added:

[Nanotech] is best understood to mean materials that have the capacity to be fundamentally different, with new chemical, physical, and biological properties that cannot be predicted from the properties of their larger material counterparts.

Yet the same new properties that so excite industry—tiny size, vastly increased surface area to volume ratio, high reactivity—can result in new risks to human health and the environment. These risks essentially take two forms: increased potential toxicity and unprecedented mobility for a manufactured material. (emphasis added)

Chemtrail Impacts

It’s apparently hard to test for nanoparticles. At a United Nations Nano-Agri conference in 2010, reports the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy:

[A] Dutch government participant said that testing for the presence of ENMs [engineered nanomaterials] in food would be difficult, to judge by the experience of a Dutch testing lab. Lab technicians had mixed ENMs in a food substance and were surprised that they could not find the just-incorporated ENMs using the electronic tunneling microscope commonly used to visualize ENMs.

So the University of Missouri team has made an important breakthrough. It’s possible that a protocol similar to the nanosilver test could also be developed to detect other types of nanoparticles, including barium, strontium, aluminum and fluoride, elements found in higher-than-normal quantities after an aerial spray.

In an interview with George Noory, activist and filmmaker Dane Wiggington reports that the aluminum sprayed in chemtrails is only 10 nm in size. That small of a size can go anywhere it wants inside the human body.

As these metallic nanoparticles accumulate in our bodies, we are becoming “more conductive” and thus more receptive to radio frequencies. This is just one more reason why smart meters are so dangerous.

The Noory-Wiggington interview starts at about 39:10 and generally addresses chemtrails, with only a short discussion on nanomaterials. But understand, what’s being sprayed on us is at the nano scale:

Proving chemtrail damage to humans and the environment may be the tool needed to waken the sleeping giant. Lord knows no empire was ever “voted” out of power; it has always taken the masses to storm the Bastille, so to speak.

Wiggington agrees:

I don’t think any legal precedent is going to get us anywhere on this. It’s only going to be when the natives, the entire population, is foaming at the mouth, grabbing their pitchforks and shovels and looking for whoever’s responsible.

With all the forced modifications to our DNA, one can easily imagine becoming a nanoslave for Empire. Wouldn’t it be just our luck, then, to run into Dorothy Brodesser when she’s pointing a double-barreled shotgun at Bruce Willis in Surrogates. “You’re an abomination,” she explained, right before she blew his robotic self to pieces.

CIA Files Prove America Helped Saddam as He Gassed Iran

The U.S. knew Hussein was launching some of the worst chemical attacks in history — and still gave him a hand.

The U.S. government may be considering military action in response to chemical strikes near Damascus. But a generation ago, America’s military and intelligence communities knew about and did nothing to stop a series of nerve gas attacks far more devastating than anything Syria has seen, Foreign Policy has learned.

In 1988, during the waning days of Iraq’s war with Iran, the United States learned through satellite imagery that Iran was about to gain a major strategic advantage by exploiting a hole in Iraqi defenses. U.S. intelligence officials conveyed the location of the Iranian troops to Iraq, fully aware that Hussein’s military would attack with chemical weapons, including sarin, a lethal nerve agent.

The intelligence included imagery and maps about Iranian troop movements, as well as the locations of Iranian logistics facilities and details about Iranian air defenses. The Iraqis used mustard gas and sarin prior to four major offensives in early 1988 that relied on U.S. satellite imagery, maps, and other intelligence. These attacks helped to tilt the war in Iraq’s favor and bring Iran to the negotiating table, and they ensured that the Reagan administration’s long-standing policy of securing an Iraqi victory would succeed. But they were also the last in a series of chemical strikes stretching back several years that the Reagan administration knew about and didn’t disclose.

U.S. officials have long denied acquiescing to Iraqi chemical attacks, insisting that Hussein’s government never announced he was going to use the weapons. But retired Air Force Col. Rick Francona, who was a military attaché in Baghdad during the 1988 strikes, paints a different picture.

“The Iraqis never told us that they intended to use nerve gas. They didn’t have to. We already knew,” he told Foreign Policy.

According to recently declassified CIA documents and interviews with former intelligence officials like Francona, the U.S. had firm evidence of Iraqi chemical attacks beginning in 1983. At the time, Iran was publicly alleging that illegal chemical attacks were carried out on its forces, and was building a case to present to the United Nations. But it lacked the evidence implicating Iraq, much of which was contained in top secret reports and memoranda sent to the most senior intelligence officials in the U.S. government. The CIA declined to comment for this story.

In contrast to today’s wrenching debate over whether the United States should intervene to stop alleged chemical weapons attacks by the Syrian government, the United States applied a cold calculus three decades ago to Hussein’s widespread use of chemical weapons against his enemies and his own people. The Reagan administration decided that it was better to let the attacks continue if they might turn the tide of the war. And even if they were discovered, the CIA wagered that international outrage and condemnation would be muted.

In the documents, the CIA said that Iran might not discover persuasive evidence of the weapons’ use — even though the agency possessed it. Also, the agency noted that the Soviet Union had previously used chemical agents in Afghanistan and suffered few repercussions.

It has been previously reported that the United States provided tactical intelligence to Iraq at the same time that officials suspected Hussein would use chemical weapons. But the CIA documents, which sat almost entirely unnoticed in a trove of declassified material at the National Archives in College Park, Md., combined with exclusive interviews with former intelligence officials, reveal new details about the depth of the United States’ knowledge of how and when Iraq employed the deadly agents. They show that senior U.S. officials were being regularly informed about the scale of the nerve gas attacks. They are tantamount to an official American admission of complicity in some of the most gruesome chemical weapons attacks ever launched.

Top CIA officials, including the Director of Central Intelligence William J. Casey, a close friend of President Ronald Reagan, were told about the location of Iraqi chemical weapons assembly plants; that Iraq was desperately trying to make enough mustard agent to keep up with frontline demand from its forces; that Iraq was about to buy equipment from Italy to help speed up production of chemical-packed artillery rounds and bombs; and that Iraq could also use nerve agents on Iranian troops and possibly civilians.

Officials were also warned that Iran might launch retaliatory attacks against U.S. interests in the Middle East, including terrorist strikes, if it believed the United States was complicit in Iraq’s chemical warfare campaign.

“As Iraqi attacks continue and intensify the chances increase that Iranian forces will acquire a shell containing mustard agent with Iraqi markings,” the CIA reported in a top secret document in November 1983. “Tehran would take such evidence to the U.N. and charge U.S. complicity in violating international law.”

At the time, the military attaché’s office was following Iraqi preparations for the offensive using satellite reconnaissance imagery, Francona told Foreign Policy. According to a former CIA official, the images showed Iraqi movements of chemical materials to artillery batteries opposite Iranian positions prior to each offensive.

Francona, an experienced Middle East hand and Arabic linguist who served in the National Security Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency, said he first became aware of Iraq’s use of chemical weapons against Iran in 1984, while serving as air attaché in Amman, Jordan. The information he saw clearly showed that the Iraqis had used Tabun nerve agent (also known as “GA”) against Iranian forces in southern Iraq.

The declassified CIA documents show that Casey and other top officials were repeatedly informed about Iraq’s chemical attacks and its plans for launching more. “If the Iraqis produce or acquire large new supplies of mustard agent, they almost certainly would use it against Iranian troops and towns near the border,” the CIA said in a top secret document.

But it was the express policy of Reagan to ensure an Iraqi victory in the war, whatever the cost.

The CIA noted in one document that the use of nerve agent “could have a significant impact on Iran’s human wave tactics, forcing Iran to give up that strategy.” Those tactics, which involved Iranian forces swarming against conventionally armed Iraqi positions, had proved decisive in some battles. In March 1984, the CIA reported that Iraq had “begun using nerve agents on the Al Basrah front and likely will be able to employ it in militarily significant quantities by late this fall.”

The use of chemical weapons in war is banned under the Geneva Protocol of 1925, which states that parties “will exert every effort to induce other States to accede to the” agreement. Iraq never ratified the protocol; the United States did in 1975. The Chemical Weapons Convention, which bans the production and use of such arms, wasn’t passed until 1997, years after the incidents in question.

The initial wave of Iraqi attacks, in 1983, used mustard agent. While generally not fatal, mustard causes severe blistering of the skin and mucus membranes, which can lead to potentially fatal infections, and can cause blindness and upper respiratory disease, while increasing the risk of cancer. The United States wasn’t yet providing battlefield intelligence to Iraq when mustard was used. But it also did nothing to assist Iran in its attempts to bring proof of illegal Iraqi chemical attacks to light. Nor did the administration inform the United Nations. The CIA determined that Iran had the capability to bomb the weapons assembly facilities, if only it could find them. The CIA believed it knew the locations.

Hard evidence of the Iraqi chemical attacks came to light in 1984. But that did little to deter Hussein from using the lethal agents, including in strikes against his own people. For as much as the CIA knew about Hussein’s use of chemical weapons, officials resisted providing Iraq with intelligence throughout much of the war. The Defense Department had proposed an intelligence-sharing program with the Iraqis in 1986. But according to Francona, it was nixed because the CIA and the State Department viewed Saddam Hussein as “anathema” and his officials as “thugs.”

The situation changed in 1987. CIA reconnaissance satellites picked up clear indications that the Iranians were concentrating large numbers of troops and equipment east of the city of Basrah, according to Francona, who was then serving with the Defense Intelligence Agency. What concerned DIA analysts the most was that the satellite imagery showed that the Iranians had discovered a gaping hole in the Iraqi lines southeast of Basrah. The seam had opened up at the junction between the Iraqi III Corps, deployed east of the city, and the Iraqi VII Corps, which was deployed to the southeast of the city in and around the hotly contested Fao Peninsula.

The satellites detected Iranian engineering and bridging units being secretly moved to deployment areas opposite the gap in the Iraqi lines, indicating that this was going to be where the main force of the annual Iranian spring offensive was going to fall, Francona said.

In late 1987, the DIA analysts in Francona’s shop in Washington wrote a Top Secret Codeword report partially entitled “At The Gates of Basrah,” warning that the Iranian 1988 spring offensive was going to be bigger than all previous spring offensives, and this offensive stood a very good chance of breaking through the Iraqi lines and capturing Basrah. The report warned that if Basrah fell, the Iraqi military would collapse and Iran would win the war.

President Reagan read the report and, according to Francona, wrote a note in the margin addressed to Secretary of Defense Frank C. Carlucci: “An Iranian victory is unacceptable.”

Subsequently, a decision was made at the top level of the U.S. government (almost certainly requiring the approval of the National Security Council and the CIA). The DIA was authorized to give the Iraqi intelligence services as much detailed information as was available about the deployments and movements of all Iranian combat units. That included satellite imagery and perhaps some sanitized electronic intelligence. There was a particular focus on the area east of the city of Basrah where the DIA was convinced the next big Iranian offensive would come. The agency also provided data on the locations of key Iranian logistics facilities, and the strength and capabilities of the Iranian air force and air defense system. Francona described much of the information as “targeting packages” suitable for use by the Iraqi air force to destroy these targets.

The sarin attacks then followed.

The nerve agent causes dizziness, respiratory distress, and muscle convulsions, and can lead to death. CIA analysts could not precisely determine the Iranian casualty figures because they lacked access to Iranian officials and documents. But the agency gauged the number of dead as somewhere between “hundreds” and “thousands” in each of the four cases where chemical weapons were used prior to a military offensive. According to the CIA, two-thirds of all chemical weapons ever used by Iraq during its war with Iran were fired or dropped in the last 18 months of the war.

By 1988, U.S. intelligence was flowing freely to Hussein’s military. That March, Iraq launched a nerve gas attack on the Kurdish village of Halabja in northern Iraq.

A month later, the Iraqis used aerial bombs and artillery shells filled with sarin against Iranian troop concentrations on the Fao Peninsula southeast of Basrah, helping the Iraqi forces win a major victory and recapture the entire peninsula. The success of the Fao Peninsula offensive also prevented the Iranians from launching their much-anticipated offensive to capture Basrah. According to Francona, Washington was very pleased with the result because the Iranians never got a chance to launch their offensive.

The level of insight into Iraq’s chemical weapons program stands in marked contrast to the flawed assessments, provided by the CIA and other intelligence agencies about Iraq’s program prior to the United States’ invasion in 2003. Back then, American intelligence had better access to the region and could send officials out to assess the damage.

Francona visited the Fao Peninsula shortly after it had been captured by the Iraqis. He found the battlefield littered with hundreds of used injectors once filled with atropine, the drug commonly used to treat sarin’s lethal effects. Francona scooped up a few of the injectors and brought them back to Baghdad — proof that the Iraqis had used sarin on the Fao Peninsula.

In the ensuing months, Francona reported, the Iraqis used sarin in massive quantities three more times in conjunction with massed artillery fire and smoke to disguise the use of nerve agents. Each offensive was hugely successful, in large part because of the increasingly sophisticated use of mass quantities of nerve agents. The last of these attacks, called the Blessed Ramadan Offensive, was launched by the Iraqis in April 1988 and involved the largest use of sarin nerve agent employed by the Iraqis to date. For a quarter-century, no chemical attack came close to the scale of Saddam’s unconventional assaults. Until, perhaps, the strikes last week outside of Damascus.
